Micah Furlong: When Hertz can't locate a car on their lot, rather than do any sort of internal investigation, they file a police report to claim it was stolen by whomever rented it last. If you've ever rented a Hertz car, there could be an arrest warrant out for your name because of their incompetence. People have lost their jobs and been kicked out of their homes because of this policy. Hertz should not be allowed to exist.
Earl James: I used this location several times in the past, but it has been closed since Covid hit. The listed phone number is disconnected and the folks at the Doubletree confirmed the closing.

Claflin QT: I reserved a rental at this location, but when I arrived to pick it up at the appointed time the location was closed with a sign to go to a different location that was 20 minutes away by car. I had to hire an Uber to get to the new location, incurring additional costs and lost time from work ( I tried to go during my lunch break). Hertz was unwilling to remedy the situation by providing adequate recourse. Horrible business and poor treatment of customers. Would NOT recommend this location.
Ramon Pereyra: I was given a free upgrade but it turned out to need the rear tires replaced so that only lasted a week. When I went to trade in the car it took two trips to get things straight and the car that I got was so basic that I can't believe that it is comparable to what I'm supposed to have. The rental it's part of a corporate account so I'm letting my co.pany handle it but I think we're over paying for vehicles through Hertz. Specially when we rent cars for over a month at a time and I'm personally a Gold member. Really disappointing!

Monica Chavez: They need a new card reader !! Couldn’t rent a car because the card reader wouldn’t read the card. No other way they can input the card numbers in their system for the payment. No chip reader, nothing. With all this technology these and different forms of payment the guy was not even trying to help at all. Went to a different Hertz location and the man there didn’t even try to swipe the card he just called the other location and that was the end of that. Went across the street and got a rental from a different company with absolutely no issue at all.
Octavia Taylor: We were in an accident INTENTIONAL WRECK FROM ROAD RAGE TOTALLY THE OTHER PERSONS FAULT !I was an passenger both my lawyer and me have called and asked them to send pictures of the vehicle because of a liability claim to the general and no one wants to do it while on the clock they say they will or they have but dont will somebody from up there help me the people just want pictures of the vehicle from date of accident! Jesus if we could just all work together!

MRK Crosier: I was in a rental because my car was in the shop (covered by other persons insurance). I purchased the additional liability coverage at my own expense. The tire of the vehicle was punctured by a nail and I was told that I needed to use my own roadside assistance to have the car towed.....not once but twice. The first time I towed it back to the location where I pick the car up and received a phone call that this was not where they needed the car to be so either I call my insurance company again, or they will tow it and charge me!!! I was never given an address to tow it to. So I could have totaled the car and my insurance company would never have known, but I run over a nail and they need to get involved twice. Then I ask if they take military discount to apply to the cost out of my pocket for the additional insurance I purchased. I was told not for rentals that are covered by insurance because there are discounts already applied. I did not receive any discounted price for my out of pocket expenses. Terrible customer service.

David Lewis: This place was horrible during the week I had my rental car, they kept trying to add on extra fees to my debit card without my knowledge and when called out the management staff were so unprofessional. If I ever had to get a rental car again I would never in my life choose this place.

katie mo: I used the Hertz app to make a reservation on 7/15 and it was confirmed via the app and a text. I arrived to pick up the vehicle at the South Blvd location to be informed by Avery that although my reservation was received they did not have any cars to rent. A phone call or a text message indicating this would have been professional and courteous and saved my time. I do not recommend this location especially considering the staff (Avery) who had no resolution, although I had a confirmation #.

Also never walked around car for scratches, dents , etc Car interior was clean. Also she couldn’t explain the deposit and final bill very well, confusing and disappointing experience.

Chris Blake: I had a reservation booked 6 days in advance and when I got to the location today 10/27 the guy said he did not have my car. He said they tried calling but they had the wrong number. Why is it that they would just be finding out this morning!? I was supposed to be in Richmond Va to meet my sons for his birthday. I planned on leaving by 9am and get there for lunch and now 3+ hours later of trying to re-book caused me to miss lunch with him!?The guy working simply stated “ we don’t have your car and we don’t have another one to put you in… you will need to check with another Hertz.”What a complete abuse of your customers. I see a review from 4 months ago about this very thing!!I cannot get this moment back, I am so disappointed and angry!!!I just joined your Gold Status and was treated like dirt…What will you do about this!? Let me guess you will “let the manager or supervisor know”That will do nothing as this facility is run down and filthy which is exactly how it’s being operated.I will wait for your response!

Eddie Manny: This company are bunch of crooks. 1.) won’t honor price from Priceline. 2.) paid extra $35 to return Electronics vehicle uncharged but over 10% … returned it at 27% and got charged an additional $35 and another $25 for it being under 10% charge which is was not3.) tried to call local branch no one picks up - what a joke company that will try and upsell you and if it doesn’t work steal your moneyIf i could give less than 1 star i would

Rosemary Jenkins: Unbelievable experience with Hertz. I have never had such a bad one until this location after a car accident, I went through multiple cars because every car they issued me was broken in many ways. It's the last thing you need after a car accident to continue replacing your rental because it doesn't work for one reason or the other.
DANIELLE TALFORD: I always use Enterprise and I regret trying Hertz. The worst experience EVER. They are absolute liars. They overbook vehicles so that they can make money and don't tell you that you do have a car until you go to pick it up. Then they are absolutely rude about it and will not help you try to find another location with available cars. I will NEVER trust a Hertz reservation again. Enterprise is a much better company.
TyLan Witherspoon: After having a few horrible attempts to receive a rental car today one of the associates at this location Britnae to be exact was more than helpful and getting me into a vehicle that fit me and my family and was also very helpful with me exchanging the current vehicle that I was driving from Hertz give that lady a raise
Stephanie Inch: They were understaffed, the phone was ringing no -stop, the one employee was visibly frustrated (which I don’t blame her), and the SUV I was given as a rental (my car was getting work done that was under warranty) was not comparable to my SUV. It also had no type of manual so we could figure out necessary functions. I would hate to see this place when it’s busy. Hopefully then they will have more employees available.
Jeff Holcomb: I helped my son get a rental car due to the problems with Kia motors and his car was going to be in the shop for awhile. Unfortunately I had to wait several days to get a vehicle due to high demand. Brittney and the other gentleman (whose name I forgot to get) at Hertz were fantastic. The rental process was great except for me deciding to switch cards in mid transaction. Which through the system off, but other than that we were in and out quickly.

Luckily..Hertz took car of us and rented us a beautiful, clean vehicle at a very affordable rate. I think the young lady (Brittany) did a great job in completing the paperwork and just taking car of us. From now on...Hertz will have our business and thanks again Brittany...you did a great job.
