Diana Pope: As a 73 year old I am completely dissatisfied with Always Best Care. The care givers were totally incompetent. Sarah was particularly lazy and unprofessional. They were not detail oriented which I needed and were disrespectful every time I asked any one to do something.I have several medical problems and they needed the ability to do several assignments in a timely fashion. They talked on their phones at times that were not work related or emergencies. The last one was late and totally self absorbed.The company does not have enough care givers to substitute for ones who have called out, leaving their clients with no help.I would never recommend Always Best Care to anyone any time.

You treated my cousin as if she was your family and I can't thank you enough for that. You not only took care of her but us also. I would recommend this service 100%! Once Medicare stopped paying, she was "sent home" still unable to perform most activities of daily living. Mark Wilson: Right At Home helped my parents (the whole family in reality) from May, 2018 until we HAD to place Mom and Dad in assisted living/Hospice care. RAH made it possible for Mom and Dad to stay in their home, exactly where they desperately wanted to be. We initially tried assisted living in early May, 2018, that did NOT go well with my parents. I met Bill, the owner of RAH at that time and we setup a program for my parents. The RAH team was sensitive to our budget. We worked together to balance their care needs with the budget. The results were Great! Mom and Dad fell in love with their caregivers and the caregivers with them. They were proactive to assure medicines were dispensed and refilled, good meals prepared properly for their conditions, grocery shopping was done, doctor appointments were kept, minor injuries were properly treated at home and much more. They use an excellent ‘team approach’ to coordinate their nurse with Home Health Care pros, the caregivers, the doctors’ offices and on and on. They made a tough, heartbreaking situation with our parents as best as it could be. I am forever in their debt.

Amber Cunningham: I called Home Instead in January when my Grandma came home from the hospital and was going into hospice care. I am out of state and wanted to get supplemental care for her to help my Dad several days a week. Consuelo is very kind, helpful, and compassionate. She took care of all of our questions and set into motion getting care. There were two caregivers who came regularly, Gloria and Barbara. Both were professional, compassionate, helpful, friendly, and above all, took very good care of my Grandma, who was now bedridden and suffering from dementia. My Grandma was at ease with them. They helped with everything from changing bedding and cleaning Grandma to sitting with her, taking care of the circulation in her feet, and keeping my Dad and his wife company. I cannot express truly how much they helped in the time Grandma had left. Any issue I ever had, Consuelo and Heather took care of. When a last minute trip came up, they put into action several days of 24 hour care, quickly. I highly recommend them and will always be grateful for the gift of care they gave my family.

At 102 she continues to enjoy being in her home and gardening. Thanks to the excellent staff at Home Instead she is able to continue this lifestyle. Her caregivers help her with errands, housekeeping, cooking, bathing, and other needs that arise. One caregiver, Lisa, has been with us a long time and is like family. Her case manager and nurse check with me on a regular basis and pay visits to my mother. I know if any special problems arise concerning Mother’s care that Home Instead is always available to help. Not only is all of this a great help to Mother, but it also allows my sister and me the time to care for our families. I highly recommend Home Instead and their highly qualified staff to those in need of a caregiver.

Tameca Brown: I wished I had the opportunity to work with some of the fine people mentioned in these reviews! As a nurse working in homes alongside their staff, my experiences have been different. The staff emphasizes what they DON'T DO more than anything. I have been told they don't change the clients briefs the nurse does. I have had home instead employees watch me and my patient (who lacks mobility) struggle to get into and out of their clothes for bed. In addition EVERY one of them that I have worked night shift with has slept on the job for the majority of the shift. I would never hire this company to take care of my loved one based on these experiences. I will give 2stars because they do show up on time, they just don't work.
Connie Watkins: If you are looking to keep your loved one in place at home, I can whole heartedly recommend Home Instead. My father lives with me. After a hospitalization, I needed help taking care of him at home so I could return to work. Karen came to my home and explained everything so thoroughly. She has kept open and clear communication the entire time and is always available for questions/concerns. Our caregiver, Lori, has become part of the family. Lori is patient, thorough, compassionate and extremely trustworthy. Overall it has been a great experience working with them.

lynne sheffer: Vilma Valladares has been providing services to my elderly father and is doing an excellent job. She comes to his apartment every weekday morning from 9:00am - 12:00pm. She assists with house keeping tasks, laundry, grocery shopping and drives him to needed appointments. My father can be more independent with her help and does not have to rely on me or my brothers for assistance during the week. I have found Home Instead to be dependable, kind and provide reliable care givers. Senior staff always communicates with me if there is a change or problem. We have been working with Home Instead for 2 years now and hope this relationship continues for a long time. Vilma has been lovely and respectful with my Dad and he looks forward to her arrival every morning.

Sylvia Stockard: After I broke my shoulder, I did not know how I was going to manage living alone with my 4 small dogs. My children researched caregivers and settled on Home Instead. If there was an option for more than 5 stars, I would give it. These caregivers are wonderful. They come in and help and it's like having family or your best friend taking care of you. They did light housework, helped me to bathe and dress and were caring, competent, so nice. And to me, it made a huge difference that they like my dogs, helped me walk them and even did some cleanup after them. I cannot think of enough superlatives for the ladies who cared for me and I will miss them so much. I would not have made it without them.
