CCT 's Location: We are located at The VAPA Center, 700 N. Tryon, Charlotte NC in The Visual & Performing Arts Center. The lobby where our guests check in has a gallery environment, with a Tea Bar and abundant local art displayed. Bathrooms are across the hall from the CCT Theater and the space is handicapped accessible. Art and laughter all in one place!

Charlotte Comedy Theater is one of the 12 founding member organizations of the Charlotte VAPA Center where our theater is located. It is unique in the US for housing both performing and visual artists and currently is home to over 300 artists. VAPA is also home to 6 galleries, 5 meeting spaces, 2 theaters, various festivals, workshops, & an on-going collaborative art experience. Food/Beverage: Pauline’s Tea bar in the lobby, and our guests are permitted to bring water bottles, covered beverage containers, and personal beverages/snacks if they so choose. No underage drinking allowed. Smoking or vaping of any kind is prohibited in our building due to sensitive art displays & fire mitigation equipment. Our guests are asked to enter and exit through the front lobby doors unless there is an emergency situation, as alarms will sound. Our building is also monitored by cameras internally and at every entrance.

Parking - Parking is free right in front of the building with overflow parking across the Street at 11th & College. Once fenced, the lot will have a pedestrian entrance for our guests to enter. Paid parking is available at Tryon & 9th. Please secure valuables as we are not responsible for loss, damage, or theft of personal property.

Security – The area of uptown that VAPA is in transition but given that part of our building is also home to the Sherriff's Department, we suspect we are the safest comedy venue in the country.
