Morgan Carter: We moved into a house with a very small, awkward, barely-walk-in closet that was pretty unusable. This was our first time getting a closet professionally done and we didn't regret any of it! The designer, Erin, was very friendly and helpful - not pushy at all and had great ideas. She was in and out within about an hour to see the space and take measurements. She offered to do a design for our second basic closet as well and we said "why not? but we probably won't move forward with it right now". We met at the showroom the next week and were so excited by both designs (and the affordable price) that we went ahead with both. We also upgraded to a slightly different finish (the linen) for one of them which bumped up the price but is gorgeous. The installation was super professional and simple. It's been about 2 months and it has made a huge difference in the usefulness of both spaces! Megan R: I cannot recommend California Closets and ESPECIALLY Claire enough! Claire first came to my condo back in 2015 to design an under-stairs pantry, two closets, and a laundry room. She was incredible at providing options and design choices that respected our budget. The installers were amazing and did a fantastic job. Claire came back afterwards to review installation and ensure everything was up to mark.We enjoyed our experience so much in 2015, that we called on Claire again in early 2022 after purchasing a home. This time she completed and small upstairs closet, pantry, laundry room, MASSIVE master closet, and built in desk/storage unit in the master bedroom. Although scheduling install took a bit longer (sign of the times!) we didn't mind at all. We knew it would be worth it. And OMG was it! We are always telling anyone that comes over that our California Closets are our favorite thing about our new home. In December, we even had Claire back out to do our under-stairs closet. This time installation was within a week because it was a smaller job.I think Claire and California Closets are absolutely miracle workers with space. We were a little nervous about the investment at first, but couldn't be happier with our home. Laura Saunders: My husband and I recently redid our family room, entry way and stairwell. Melissa was excellent from the first phone call to the final touches to make a completed space. She listened to what I liked and what I was looking for and helped me to narrow down my choices. I have a difficult time making decisions and taking the leap and Melissa was so patient and pushed when I needed her to push and gave me time when I needed the time. Her spacial awareness of the room was amazing. I was worried the chandelier was going to be way too big and it was perfect. We did have a few hiccups with ordering and the install and Melissa and Sandy were all over it. Due to Covid we had to be more patient with the manufacturers which we completely understandable. We live in Sarasota, and she was able to take care of the entire project for us. NSH designs included furnishings, wallpaper, lighting and tv installation, and move in!
