When my husband got out of our truck, the man tried to start a conversation with him, and when my husband told him that he didn’t have time to talk right now, the guy went crazy and told him he was going to stab him in the eye while swinging his drum sticks at his face. The cashier inside watched through the window but didn’t attempt to help at all.My husband got back in the truck and we left, as we had our child in the truck. If you are going to allow people to loiter outside of your business that try to stab people in the eye with blunt objects simply because they won’t engage in conversation, you will lose business. I will never be back, and I will recommend that, for their safety, everyone I know avoids this location as well.

Blair Malcolm: Today my fiance and I stopped by to purchase a carton of cigarettes. I was told that they can not sell them at the direction of the manager, Heather. Why are the prices posted, if they refuse to sell them to customers?

Bruce K.: This Circle K has been rebadged as it used to be a Marathon/Kangaroo Express. Nothing much has changed. The location is ideal if you're getting onto the Interstate from here. From the highway, there is an intersection with a left turn lane. If you are heading north and exiting at Tyvola to access this station, there's an ugly merge and you will need to cross two lanes to make the left.Inside, it's a decent convenience store with snacks and coffee and other drinks. They do sell beer here.Gas station pumps are well covered and there are 8 or 10 of them. Prices are competitive but if you are heading south and can hold on another ten miles, you'll get cheaper fuel at Carowinds due to the lower taxes in South Carolina.Three stars for a failed receipt printer at the pump. There are squeegees and they have liquid in the reservoir.

Gracelynn T.: I was having issues with the gas pump not working and the clerk was very rude to me and kicked me out of the store. It was some old lady with a man's name. I couldn't get any gas and I had already been charged a $50 surcharge. I didn't want to be paying for someone else to fill up their tank after me, but the lady gave me some very unhelpful advice before kicking me and everyone else out of the store and locking the door. This is at 8:30AM mind you, and I had been on the road for more than 8 hours and I had another 6 ahead of me. I didn't mind not being able to get gas, but the service was detestable. I work at a gas station as well, so I know it isn't that hard to give a concerned customer the time of day.

jimmy john: this has happened to me the 2nd time. the man working yesterday 4/5/2022 at around 7 PM was unbelievably rude. I see other Cx's complaining about the same person here. i went in asking if they had nemo cakes (my pregnant wife craves this specific cake), he showed me the 3rd aisle is where they keep the cakes. I did not find it there, and told him that they are kept typically in the middle aisle... He took his cap off, put his palm on his face, and started whispering obscenities. This is unbelievably rude. This is the 2nd time by the way, the last time he was laughing hysterically and did not answer my question, when I asked him if they carry a certain cigar. You should not get aggravated when a Customer asks you a question about a product you carry. Gas stations are part of the hospitality business, and if you employ such people, then your business will suffer. I found out that the circle K on south tryon has the same product, and thats where i am going now. Avoid this place.

Tina Hinson: I came to this particular Circle K on Tyvola Rd. needing a place to stop & check my GPS for a nearby address. I found as I exited the convenience store lot that on one side of this lot there is a very large water leak. This is the side of the lot that is close to a McDonald's on the same street. I tried to call this Circle K today only to find that the phone number that is listed is a fax phone number only. I can't let this business know that their water problem is a safety hazard.

Instead of helping me complete my transaction and providing customer service which ....you know is probably in the job description. He chose to be dramatic and extend the no more 2 min transaction . It is so easy to be nice to customers and I was not rude to this individual. I don't know if he was having a bad day but don't take it out on people who just want their behind the counter items . I will steer clear of this store and find places where I don't have to deal with petty cashiers !

Crystal Pittman: The system was down so I could not get gas at the pump so I went inside. The lady at the register LAUGHED and said there was no gas, their system was down. She didn’t say if it was rebooting, if it would be back on in 15 minutes, no apology, just there’s no gas, systems down. It wasn’t funny. My gas light was on and I had to get back on 77 and fight with traffic.

Most of the employees have turned over as well, and the only good one left is Juanita.I won't complain about the customers or the area because that's not in their control (my coworker had his car stolen in the parking lot). The employees are subpar even for gas station standards. Some are rude and some just clearly don't care.One or more of the gas pumps is always broken. There is rarely receipt paper in the pumps outside, which means you have to go in if you need it. If you're lucky, there won't be a 10-person line at the time (but there usually is, meanwhile there will be an employee outside smoking a cigarette). Today, they didn't even have the proper receipt paper so the whole right side was cut off. The most important part, total paid, was cut off so what's the use?I'm very disappointed in this store. I used to come here every morning for coffee and gas but now I avoid it as much as possible.
