The prices were through the roof as well. $5/chocolate strawberry? 150 for the smallest arrangement? Umm nah. Went a different route. Never again. But the people really sealed the deal. They suck.

They were highly dissatisfied with this product. I called customer service and sent them pictures. They told me the fruit was perfectly fine. An that’s how they would purchase their fruit from the store. Clearly, they have no idea what customer service mean.

Shannon Lassiter: I ordered some flowers and some white chocolate to be delivered for my wife last day at work. Well, long story short, my wife never received the gift that was sent. The delivery person just handed the items over to a random person in the lobby of the hospital. They have no clue who they gave it to or where the flowers or the white chocolate went. After realizing my wife did not receive the flowers I called the store to inquire as to why the items were not delivered to my wife and to request a refund in the store would not refund my money because they were delivered to the location but not to my wife. I called corporate and they were said they would handled the situation and would follow up with in 24 hour but never did. After another round of phone calls with corporate, I still have not received my money. Never again will I support this business

Camille: I ordered and purchased the celebration basket on Friday ($129) for pick up on Mother's Day.I called back on Saturday to add to my order; I was on hold for more than 15 mins so I decided to drive to the Kings Dr. location.The item I wanted to add on, I was told they wouldn't allow for Mother's Day. Go figure.They then proceeded to tell me that my Sunday order was ready for pick up on Saturday morning. Since I was there, I took the item.The fruit was mostly very ripped and discolored in areas. I called to communicate this to management, spoke with Tameka who stated without pictures they couldn't do anything. I explained to her that I didn't take pics because I was extremely busy with a breakfast and just had them throw it out.I then explained to her that I have a history of ordering with them and wouldn't call to complain if it wasn't true. She didn't seem to care but couldn't answer me when I asked why would my Sunday request be prepared nearly 48hrs prior to the time it was requested. Fruit must be completely fresh and this batch was notProbably will not use them in the future.
Carl Pike: Purchase a chocolate dipped strawberry tray with a set of hugging sloth dolls for a house warming gift. Instead of the dolls ordered, a left over Valentines day (from 2 months before) teddy bear was substituted without notice. After leaving several messages and emails i was finally contacted. I was informed the substituted bear was in fact cheaper that what I had ordered. The ONLY option I was given was a refund of the difference of the cost between what I had ordered and what I had not ordered. In other words I had to purchase the leftover bear. No refund for the what I had bought. It a simple case of bate and switch fraud. The only upside is the partial refund because I ran this down. Otherwise they would have pocketed it all. Beware
Paula R Jackson: The arrangement was fantastic and fruit was fresh and delicious for Admin Day but when asked that morning about delivery, they could not guarantee by noon to enjoy on the day but by 5 pm. I had ordered it 2 days prior to Admin Day.We had to end up picking it up so staff could enjoy thruout the day. It turned over in the car because the box they put it in was flimsy, omg. Going forward, I will consider a different "gift" for Admin Day!!

Marcus Smith: I used to be a loyal customer before they shutdown☹️. I have been coming to this location ever since the beginning of January 2022. The store wasn’t in the best condition, but I understand due to the short-staffing.I came back into the store to give them one more shot, & man is it a night & day difference! The grocery isle looked fully-stocked (the best it has looked in months) & the customer service experience was a lot better (not Chick-Fil-A level, but who can compare to them😆).I was looking for one of my southern favorites, Pimento cheese! However, they didn’t have it at the time I was shopping. Instead, I opted to try the veggie wrap & I was surprised on how fresh the ingredients were. The cucumbers were crisp, & the hummus had an unexpected smokiness to it. Now it is one of my go-to’s whenever I go to Earth Fare.Overall, the whole experience was a large step up from when I visited back in early 2022. I would recommend to everyone, to give this place a shot.

While the presentation at the kitchen was good, every item I picked from the food options was absolute trash. God knows how many days old the cooked rice was- half of the rice got was as hard as frozen rice. I bought a pizza slice which was hard as a brick. The el pastor meat and the chorizo were tasteless, and very cold. I just felt sorry for myself.

Perfect for vegetarians and people with other special diets - I have never seen so many gluten free options anywhere! I love all the baked goods, always fresh and delicious. Friendly atmosphere and staff.

Found a giant hair inside the strawberry shortcake slice. Not sure if they are made in store but seriously, not what I expected from this place.

J L: I really like Earthfare but this is at least the 3rd time I've been there that they don't have their advertised specials in the meat department and the 2 guys working there today didn't even know what the specials were and had zero interest in providing any sort of customer service. The worst part is I drove across town to get there.
M M: The only Earth Fare left in Charlotte! The store is well maintained and stocked. Lots of vegan, organic, and dairy free items. Prices are higher than your normal grocery store but it’s better quality. The hot bar is definitely recommended during lunch time.

Michael Barker: I really want this store to be good. It's very close to my home. But the pricing is absolutely ridiculous. I understand charging a premium for premium products but the basics should be competitive (or at least in the same ballpark). I would likely pay up for the bougie products while I buy my standard pantry staples but I find most of my usual products are double price or near double for a smaller portion. This operation has gone under once before and I expect the same with this insane pricing model. Sad.Finally, when bringing this up to management (maybe? Only 2 employees could be found) I was informed that the $6 coffee creamer was $10 in Connecticut, so I guess I should be happy?
T H: The store is clean I will say that. But it is ghost town. No one at the customer service desk, and no one at all in the entire deli and bakery area. Self serve coffee is luke warm and no creamer or milk at all. But there is no one you can even ask! A customer in front of me asked the cashier “are you all open on Sunday” and he said “I have no idea” and continued on. For such an expensive store, seems like quality would be better.
