Kristen Bilney: Ladies of Lineage deserves much more than 5 stars. I don’t even know where to begin. Absolutely unmatched service here - Elizabeth, Natasha, and all the ladies who were there for my appointment were amazing. Everyone was so helpful, friendly, and honest - which I think is so important!Going into my appointment, I had a style that I knew I liked but was open to any and everything. Elizabeth listened to my likes and dislikes and pulled the most beautiful dresses for me, it was so hard having to choose just one. At one point, I had two dresses on at the same time so they could show me how I could combine styles. Once I decided I liked the combination, we put my first choice back on and Natasha cut up some lace for me and pinned it to the dress for an even better idea of the final product - it was absolutely stunning.One of the dresses I tried on I LOVED, but it just wasn’t the style I wanted for my wedding day. We started talking about how it would be perfect for my rehearsal dinner and welcome party if it was either a midi/mini dress. Once I left, Elizabeth called the designer to see if they could do that and they said yes! I wish I could come back and try on new dresses every day!Thank you, ladies, for making this such a wonderful experience, I really couldn’t be happier.
Hannah Quire: There is no better place to buy your wedding dress. I was so nervous about the shopping experience, but from the minute I stepped foot in their showroom, they embraced me with open arms and made me feel comfortable and beautiful. They took extra efforts not only during also after my appointment to make me feel considered and special, and my consultant remembered me each time I called and came by the store. They even offered me an alterations recommendation in a completely different state when I told them I was moving, which made the process so much less stressful in the midst of an already-hectic move. I cannot rave about Ladies of Lineage enough, and for any bride that is feeling nervous about the dress shopping experience (or just wants to feel a little bit of extra love during their wedding planning process), this is the place to be.

She took my wants and “maybes” into account and we tried on dresses of all styles to confirm what I liked. The very first dress she put me in turned out to be THE ONE! I felt completely comfortable with Elizabeth, and she made me feel beautiful through the entire experience. The boutique is intimate and beautifully decorated, and there are no distractions during your appointment so the focus will be on you. I cannot wait to come back to pick up my dress when it arrives! Brina Brasure: Ten stars if I could. Ladies of Lineage provided THEE best experience of my entire wedding planning process. I was engaged for a long time, tried on many dresses in that time and went to many stores in that time. Not only is this where I found THEE dress, it was such a wonderful experience. The women there are so welcoming and nice, but they’re also very good at what they do. After informing my stylist on how many dresses over the number of years I’d tried on and what I was really looking for, assuming she probably figured I’d be a walkout (as did I), we walked through the most beautiful display of dresses and started choosing. I pulled some, she chose some, and then the try-on process started.Spoiler alert: The first one she put me in ended up being the one. It had everything I described to her I was looking for, but when she initially pulled it asking what I thought, I just took it as an “okay, I’ll try it on.” I’m so glad I did. She knew what she was doing and I was immediately “wow!”. While it was a wild card, it really was what I described to her. I tried on several others and she was very patient and informative. Ultimately, I was torn between two and asked to come back the next day. They had an opening, I went back, still couldn’t decide. It was between the dress I was looking for and the dress I didn’t know I was looking for. I sat on the decision for a month and in that time knew which one was “the one”. Third time back in and I said “yes!”. A few months later I went back in for final measurements, then several months later I went in for the dress pickup. They even took videos of getting me into the dress and how to do it so I could show my sisters that couldn’t be there from another state. I also got my earrings and veil from them and they have the best and most vast selection of jewelry and accessories than any other store I’d be to.At an appointment I thought would just be another appointment and defeat, staring at the same dresses every other store has, it was entirely the opposite. They have the whole package— beautiful/upscale store, great location, on-site parking, the best selection of dresses and accessories, wonderful staff and customer experience. You can’t go wrong. They made me feel important and special at every appointment, not just the first one. The girl I had at the first appointment was fantastic, but no longer there, so after that appointment, Katelyn took over and I continued to work with her. She made the experience so great and enjoyable. She made me feel like a friend picking up where we left off. Everyone that works there was always part of the experience and helping out at every visit. You can tell they have a true team dynamic, and as a business owner myself, that says a lot about a company. Every appointment I would tell them I want to work there. If you don’t find your dress at Ladies of Lineage, you’ll at least have the ultimate bridal experience and feel the way you want to feel and should feel. But— you’ll probably find your dress here, too. And be showered with champagne. :)

Cory Lambert: This was my first - and last - experience with NM at Southpark Mall. I’ve been a native of Charlotte my entire life, and am well-aware that Southpark has always catered towards a financially-affluent consumer audience. Now in my adulthood, and with expendable income, I ventured into NM last week to purchase a Chanticalle foundation that I saw online. This is the only store in the area that sells it in-store and I needed to be color matched before spending $130 on makeup. The Chanticalle makeup counter consultant was pleasant and respectful. She even upsold me a $120 sunscreen/primer. I want to note that I told her I was apprehensive of the formula, as I have very oily skin and she assured me it would work and be light-weight enough for daily wear and to “just give it a try”. At no point did she mention a return policy or that I couldn’t bring it back to exchange it for store credit if her color-match was off (given they have fluorescent lighting in the store and it turned out to be much too orange in natural light). I tried it for two days and it was awful; I looked like an oil slick. I decided to return it, as I obviously cannot use it and do not want it. However, upon my entrance into the store today, I was met with looks of “she’s too poor to be here” - because I wasn’t wearing any up-scale brands like LV, etc. I was in tasteful (and expensive) black leggings and a t-shirt. I went directly to the Chanticalle counter and waited to be greeted by THREE different female consultants - all of whom made eye contact with me, acknowledging my presence, and literally walked off to avoid me. I finally was able to get someone at the Chanel counter to help, but she said that she needed to find the woman who completed the sale because “they can’t take makeup returns and it’s on her to handle it.” So rude, to both me and her coworker. I then had to walk to the other end of the cosmetics department to find this specific consultant, who greeted me with nothing but a cold “what do you want?” stare. She acted like she hadn’t just been told by her coworker that I needed to make a return with her. She then sighed in my face, and walked me to the register, and asked if I’d used the product. Well duh … it’s makeup. How can I know if it works for me if I don’t use it? She said their store policy is that can’t take back any item that “isn’t in re-sellable condition” (which is ridiculous, considering the inherent nature of cosmetics …) She then said that she would “do it this one time but in the future, they can’t do any more favors like this.” I was flabbergasted! Then she couldn’t even get the register to process my return for three tries. At the end, she literally just handed me my return receipt and walked off. Never in my life have I been treated with such prejudice at a store that I’M PAYING TO BE IN. I will never again come to NM, as it’s obvious they are cheap (because who in the world is re-selling used, returned “luxury” items??) and do not have the competency to train their staff that any customer has the capacity to be a sale - not just the ones that “look” rich.

Lakeisha Hill (Kitty): So, my original plan was to go to Concord Mills Mall (Coach Outlet)but, I ended up going to South Park Mall( I love this mall) to look for a Coach bag. I decided to walk into Dillard's because I didn't have any luck in Macy's on what I was looking for. So, I was in between buying a Coach or Michael Kors bag. I searched Coach bags but I need something that was going to POP for Spring. 🙂 They had a markdown on their bag today which was awesome. So, the hot pink bag stood out for me because I love pink. Originally it was $168 but, the steal was $100. So, then I got a mini wallet with originally was $76 but, the steal was $46. I had an amazing day & ended it with a cinnamon & sugar pretzel w/ a lemonade from Auntie Annie's. 🙂 Ladies, there's some awesome deals if you need any ideas for Mother's Day, birthdays or just for retail therapy. Great customer service has been dwindling for years and is all but non-existent in our post-covid society, in my opinion. Juliet was so friendly and knowledgeable. She was eager to assist and offer supplemental items but not pushy. Juliet showed exemplary customer service skills and really turned the shopping experience into a fun and relaxing venture. I apologize for my late review because your fantastic employee Shannon was one of the best salespeople I have ever encountered. She helped each customer with such warmth and grace, I was honestly thinking to myself while watching her "okay, how can I apply her technique in my profession?"(I am a server, so it's a bit different ha ha) But if I could be like Shannon I can only imagine my tips would be amazing. Shannon is so well informed on your line of products. She helped me find my confixer gel I came in to buy, she gave me several free samples and asked my birthday and allowed me to choose one of 4 different composition oils as a birthday gift. Even as more customers came in Shannon never lost composure, equal enthusiasm for each customer. Shannon is a gem, a shining example of what a great employee is. Thank you Aveda for your awesome products and thank you, Shannon for turning a simple visit into a wonderful encounter. I will definitely return as a customer.

(despite the fact that I've been buying Aveda products for over 15 years.) It's been a while, because I've intentionally avoided that location. Hope they now have a less condescending staff.
Inna: I visited this store yesterday. What an amazing person works there- Kendal (I hope I spelled her name right). She greeted me very nicely and filled out a sheet with my skin concerns. She was so very attentive and caring. I ended up getting a facial there. Amazing team member. Management please recognize and appreciate team members like Kendal. Will come back to the store again. Recommend it to others.

sefakor kumaga: If I could give a lower rating than one star I would, you would think at an institute they would be taught how to style all types of hair but this is definitely not the case.... if you have kinky/course hair don't even think about coming here... unless you actually make an appointment with someone who knows how to style different textures of hair. I spent almost 4 hours from person to person who were trying to figure out how to actually blow out my hair it was tragic, I was very disappointed. Aveda needs to teach each learning hairstylists versatile ways on how to manage hair of different ethnicities. Plus they over charged me 58$ for something I could of done at home! 30$ just to use a straightener......Never coming back ever !

Adrienne Craighead: My first experience with Aveda was when entertaining an out of town guest (who loves Aveda products, but does not have a store in her town.)I was impressed enough by the staff's deep product knowledge and consultative approach to schedule a follow up 15 minute chair massage and chakra balancing session (which was yday with Shannon.)Even though I admitted to Shannon that I was usually not a fan of "earthy" smells and all-natural organic products, she reassured me that my generation was seduced by lab-created fragrances and wisely suggested that we ease into the Aveda product line with scents that were more familiar like citrus and floral.I was amazed at how much good a simple 15 minute chair massage could do (combined with the aroma-therapy and education.) I also learned about how Aveda's philosophy is to minimize packaging and focus on sustainable production with an emphasis on recycling. I decided that if I could find products I liked within their line, why wouldn't I give my business to an environmentally conscious company?Shannon and the other staff made me feel welcome and pampered and I ended my visit by asking some questions about their cosmetics. Needless to say, I ended up falling in love with their makeup line and even though I only took home a few items yday . . .I decided to join their customer loyalty program so I could get perks and earn points on future purchases.Major gratitude to Shannon and the hospitable crew at Aveda's SouthPark Mall location for welcoming a "100% man-made lab-lover" like me me into the warm and wonderful all-natural world of Aveda!
