Due to all the rain we've had they were trying to keep their customers on schedule.David walked the perimeter of our property went back to his truck & then proceeded with the treatment We have a stream that cuts through our property where there's a lot of woods & a double deck so we are very prone to mosquitos. Charles McIver: Mosquito Joe of South Charlotte has changed the way that I can use my large back yard during the summer months. I am very susceptible to mosquito bites being one of those folks who is going to get bitten first if anyone is going to get bitten at all. I noticed the Mosquito Joe truck and decided to give them a try last year. I was then and continue now to be happily amazed that I can use my yard, host cookouts and fully enjoy the summer season free of mosquito bites. I have seen no ticks either which were a concern due to all of the deer which come by to graze and sleep in the back yard at night. The price for the service is very fair and the company employees are a super nice bunch to deal with. Top notch service, great employees and no contracts to sign. I am super pleased! Originally gave a perfect review because they offered a possible free grill in a drawing but gonna have to dial that back.Really good people and good customer service for the most part! But after about 8-9 days after every treatment, we consistently get devoured by mosquitos. And so do our pets. It’s a huge pain in the butt. Part of paying over $120 a month for spraying should result in some peace of mind. We’ve only had that in very small doses this summer.I’ve called a few times and they’ve happily come out and re-sprayed. Like i said, they’re a good, honest company but we don’t feel like we’re getting what we pay for.

Steve Johnston: We have been using Killingsworth for the past 15 years. We have our pest control service, termite bond, and crawl space with them. We sold our home recently and called Killingsworth 2 weeks before the sale to let them know. Today, I received 2 invoices for services after the closing date. I contacted Killingsworth and they had no record of the call cancelling service according to the service representative. Additionally, even though we have a credit card on file with them that they have been using for services, they informed me I had an outstanding bill of $91.50 but couldn't tell me why there was an outstanding, unpaid charge and transferred me to a line that hung up! As part of this I've paid extra for the Bermuda suppression that was to be applied once a month in June, July & August. As of yesterday they have charged me 5 times for this service since June claiming they applied it 2 extra times in August and that I have to pay for since they applied it even though they were not supposed to do it. It's not cheap and I never agreed to more treatments. I've cancelled both lawn and pest services. Sandi Suter: I am particularly sensitive to mosquito bites so for the past 6 years I was unable to stand in our yard without dousing myself in bug spray! We finally gave in and called Killingsworth to spray our yard and I will never go back! We started treatments in April and I have not been bit since! The technicians come once a month, they are on-time, professional, knowledgable, and they get it done fast! 10/10 would recommend.

Ian White: Be very, very careful before considering Killingsworth for your termite bond. Ever since Killingsworth was acquired by Anticimex, a multinational company, they have been aggressively increasing prices. We are now paying multiples of what we expected to for our termite bond. They know that they have leverage over people when they write the termite bond, and they take full advantage with price increases. Killingsworth is clearly no longer the trustworthy company that many people relied on for years.
