I also appreciated the fact that he proactively called me to suggest I complete my return in advance of Tax Day. I would for sure go back to him again.UPDATE from 2022: To follow up from my earlier review, I did once again choose Michael Stetson to do my taxes for 2021. Once again, Michael did not disappoint. He was able to complete my tax returns, same day, without me having to even come into the office. This quick and easy turnaround was especially important this year as I've heard there are huge delays from the IRS. For me, however, I received my tax return within a week. Michael is an invaluable team member at H&R Block on N. Graham in Charlotte, and I recommend anyone for his service.

R Simpson: The rep. did a great job; however, it was way too hot in the place. The other reps. said air was working but they set temperature at 80 degrees (meanwhile it's spring and was also hot outside). I had to use my deduction paperwork to fan myself in an attempt to get cool air. I started feeling extremely thirsty and tired. Not turning the air on made it even harder to breathe while wearing a mask. It was a very uncomfortable two hours.

My appointment was for 12:15 with Maria, I wasn’t seen until 12:50 and the lady that handled my application wasn’t even Maria. She barely understood me and I barely understood her but we still tried to communicate the best we could.My entire application was botched and when I asked what went wrong, I was simply told that it was just a denial. No information on how to fix it or if I had other options. I was dismissed while two other people we attended to during my “Appointment”.Horrible location, horrible service and HR block was of no help. Wouldn’t t recommend, at all.

Miss cee: Incompetent and would not recommend. The tax preparer Jitsu screwed up on my taxes to make me owe 9k. I had an amended return done by another tax preparer which was accepted by the IRS to which I received a 3k refund and owe nothing. The auditor at the IRS dept of treasure and state said HR block did my taxes incorrectly. I called hr today for a refund from their screw up the manager said,"I need to see if the person who did your amended did it correctly. I told her obviously if I received a refund and owe nothing the person who did my amended did it correctly. They're trying to avoid paying me back for their screw-up.
