The Vue Charlotte on 5th: what do users think?
Tiffany Nicole: Reilly was super helpful today! She really showed her dedication to her company and went far and beyond,! Without her help my day would've been tough!
Be You Be Great: Wow !! Jada at the barista bar is amazing ! One of our main reasons for renewing is the great service & love from The coffee Lady !! Not to mention the fun events like “Glow Yoga”!! Keep up the good work!
Cody Prentiss: The staff and amenities are fantastic!
Dominic Morace: Have lived here since March of 2022. No better building in Charlotte. The community, the staff, the amenities are unmatched. Shoutout to the concierge team as well. Jada, Ben, and Lauren are the absolute best. Would not recommend another building besides the Vue!
Darin Stearns: This is my 2nd hear living at the Vue Charlotte and I love it. WE just got new Gym Equipment and the Steam Room and Dry Sauna are awesome. I wish we had a hot tub. Perhaps someday we wull get that, but the best part of living here is the staff and one sticks out in particular and I notice this right away because I am a manager in the hotel industry. Loren Livas at the Concierge Desk is genuine and always friendly. She seems to know everybody by name, which really makes the residents feel warm and special. I see and hear her interact with with other residence and myself being in the hospitality business, realize and appreciate the great care that Loran shows towards all is us at the Vue. She knows us all by name and even apartment number. She even knows the pets in the building that adore her as well. I wish all were as warm and hospitable as Loran. You can tell when it’s real or fake and with Loran she is the real deal. We are lucky to have her here at the Vue. She really makes us residence feel at home when she greets us all by name. She’s the best. A building is only a building, but the staff is just as important and Loren is a true amenity at this property.
John S: We have now been VUE residents for over 5 years. We love it here. The units and building with all the amenities are spectacular. Having been a condo owner before in uptown Charlotte, I will tell you that I will never, never own again. It is so wonderful to submit a service request on-line and almost before the internet has time to deliver it--someone is at my door to fix it. As opposed to a condo where there are always the divergent thoughts of homeowners, "should we replace the hall carpet? should we upgrade our amenities?...." at the VUE these things are done to keep it as the premier location in Charlotte. This is a very dog friendly building and Bert, my dog, loves it here. I like the fact that the residents are very diverse as far as age, gender and race. The concierge staff knows virtually everyone's name and having them handle package delivery or uber eats is just spectacular. Being welcomed home by them when I come in the front door is something I enjoy. The leasing staff is first rate and can answer all my questions. Parking is plentiful and there are enough charging stations for those with EVs. (They added more last year when they were needed.)For me this is home but I know for many people it is a transitional place. I hope where they are moving is as nice as the VUE.
Andrew Shoup: It’s early in my lease but so far, I can’t praise this place enough. The apartments themselves are amazing and the building is very accurately named with its stunning views. I was in a predicament and needed to move in quickly which is never an easy task. The leasing team and specifically Jacob helped expedite that process and make it a breeze. Even when working with others on the team such as Gordon, everything was easy and pleasant. I’m very happy with the process and am now enjoying the apartment and amazing amenities. Would highly recommend the building to anyone looking to rent upscale apartments in Charlotte.
Brandon Jordan: Updating my review given my stay is over - don't move here. Rent is thousands more per month than other apartments in Uptown, even ones right across the street. They'll sell you on the amenities and how nice it is to live there - other places have all the same stuff. No semblance of a nightlife nearby, elevators constantly breaking down (I once waited 25 minutes for one), a predatory leasing office, and a lack of good resident events (food trucks the residents have to pay for do not count as "events"). The only distinguishing factor is the height of the building. This was my first apartment, and I feel completely taken advantage of and lied to. Do yourself a favor, save yourself a couple thousand, and move somewhere else.P.S. - Don't believe the other reviews. You get "points" on their resident app for leaving a 5 star review.
Jenna Hoagland: The Vue is absolutely amazing! And Ben from concierge made my day here! Great personality, so kind, and helpful! Give this man a raise 🙌🏻
Haley Mitchell: Ben from concierge is amazing! He always makes sure everyone is taken care of and he always has a smile on his face! if you happen to see him at the front desk or around the property make sure to thank him for all he does!
Gio Maddox: Great place to live! The concierge team here at the vue is on point. James and Donny are always ready and willing to assist with anything needed.
Jenna Brunner: Nelson from maintenance was very helpful and friendly!
Brandi Jackson: Not only does Willie Nelson lovethe Vue, he can't wait to godownstairs to get treats from oneof his favorite Concierge teammembers! Thank you Loren Livas foralways spreading the puppy love!IMG_0235.jpg
SoonSil C: Jada the hot shotOne of the reason the Vue is the best in Charlotte,Jada the hot shot!Jada represent a cool breeze in summer in Charlotte whom I have met at the Vue during the pandemic. She made sure everyone is caffeinated and awake working at home made it easy.Today she takes on different tasks with smile( again that killer smile, a million dollar smile)for the Vue, but she is very very professional beyond her professional life.I wonder who is more fortunate to have her here, us or the Vue!I am sure she will be and is,Jada the hot shot! That make the Vue is the best in Charlotte! The Meyers,Jada the hot shot followers :)
Chris Todd: I’ve been living at the Vue for over 3 years now, and I have to give a shout out to one of your concierge members, Loren Livas! She has been exceptional when it comes to answering any questions or providing any requests I may have. She is especially very loving to all the animals in the building and my dog, Kyah, absolutely adores her. Thank you for giving us all an enjoyable experience!!!!
LINA BHIRUD: So far the experience has been exceptional at The Vue. We just moved in, and big thanks to Gina for providing us with excellent and timely help finding the apartment. The entire staff here is friendly and prompt in assisting. We are pretty much excited to explore this community and enjoy our stay!
Dylan Coe: Gina was great in the process of moving in. Very nice and easy to work with- I definitely recommend the VUE.
Koren Childs: As former Security for the VUE, I was lied upon and discarded over extending the same courtesy to a Black resident that I did for White residents on a regular basis. Police were called on that resident for a minor lease infraction, while I was prevented from alerting the authorities to an all-out brawl between White residents. Leasing consistently ignored and disregarded any event suggestions that were culturally inclusive. The Residents were and are some of my closest friends. Regardless of ethnicity. However. I have never been more disappointed with an employer.
Kathleen Sicuranza: Loren, who works for our concierge, is simply amazing at her job. She is **always** smiling when you see her, professional, not to mention fashionable, and super quick to assist with whatever the resident needs. More than that, she goes above & beyond to get to know each resident individually!! THANK YOU Loren for your incredible service and big smiles - you make living at the Vue easy breezy, fun & fabulous!!!!
Gamer Girl 17: I liked the stay it was very nice. all the staff was nice to help us when we needed it I would come back to stay here again.
Chris Blake: When I arrived for my appointment to view my apartment, I was greeted properly and friendly. Hayes did a really nice job of showing me the apartment and the amenities and talk to me about the community activities. The apartment was clean and so was the apartment complex itself. it is perfectly located in uptown and very convenient and walkable. - From a verified resident on ApartmentRatings

Uptown 550: what do users think?
Nathan Pryde: Exterior doors don’t lock, rebar sticking out of the ground in the dog run waiting to hurt your pet, dog wash station will scold your dog with hot water, concerns get “acknowledged” but never addressed. They’ll fine you $100 for just about anything they can but never show any accountability themselves. If you go to an event they will yell at you if you leave early, if you go to the pool they will dress code your swimsuit and make you pay for any shaded seating.Don’t be fooled by free guest parking, it remains fullMany places to live here, recommend you explore more options
Brandon Bolling: The concierge is very nice and informative.
John Wilson: Kayla always takes good care of me! Always has things ready for me and makes me feel at home!
Ky: Property manager Chrissy treated me with no respect as I was at the pool, eating at the bar enjoying some food. She came up next to me and started taking my plate and drink from me. I offered to help her clean but she started making condescending comments towards me which made me super uncomfortable. I told her she was being rude and then she told me to leave. I asked what I did to her and she couldn’t tell me. She was just upset people were grilling out, and took it out on me absolutely no professionalism. Insane treatment.
molly swift: I absolutely love the service at 550! Candice specifically is always so willing to help and has outstanding customer service. My favorite part of the day is seeing her at the front desk!
KD Davis: First visit here and I must say the staff is top tier! Candice is so professional and nice. Great lady for a great property!
Camilla: Candice was so wonderful to help assist me when I made a delivery.
Lamont Wilson: Candice is so helpful at the desk! Assisted me and my mom with a delivery!
Modern Solutions: Uptown 550 is an awesome community! Services this place a lot! The residents are really cool and the staff is amazing! Big ups to Candice 550 Superstar!!!
Jamie Gonzalez: Uptown 550 is a beautiful building but the staff really makes it one of a kind. Candace is phenomenal and I could not imagine living here without her. She is the brightest light every morning and makes sure your day is seamless. She’s consistently been this way since my move in date several months ago, she’s truly a treasure. Kayla & Auluan have also been such a positive experience whether it’s up at the rooftop or down at the front desk. Thank you ladies for being the glue to this wonderful place we call home.
Stephanie Drake Carlisle: The entire leasing team is simply amazing! Courteous, professional, attentive to residents needs, solution-oriented and efficient!! Victor specifically has been a pleasure to work with.
Jessica Dortch: My friend and I recently toured Uptown 550, we worked with Victor. Super friendly, very knowledgeable and personable. I work in the service industry myself so I know how far that goes, a simple thank you can change your day entirely. He showed us the amenities and model home. He was very refreshing! I hope my friend leases there.
Cameron Lackey: Candice was amazing, and very helpful. Highly recommend.
Caroline Lundgren: Great property, awesome staff🤩 love me some Candice super sweet, always willing to assist!
Jessica Lee: Candice at the concierge desk is amazing! Always happy to see her smiley face in the morning to start the day!
Sydney Nelson: I’m headed out on an international trip in the AM and I was running into issues with printing all of my necessary documents on the printer in the business center. To ask for help, I visited the on-duty concierge at 12:30am at night and I was happy to see that it was none other than Clayton! I knew that my issue would be resolved efficiently and with a smile, and I assumed correctly. Clayton promptly provided an email address to forward my documents to and he had the printed copies in my hands in mere minutes. That level service is what I have come to experience with all of the concierge staff, especially Clayton. Anytime I see him on the property, he calls me by name, greets me with a smile, and checks on me to ensure I’m doing well as I’ve only been a Charlotte resident for a few months. He truly cares and because of the positive and upbeat attitude, I have a heightened sense of comfortability with living here and can’t help but gush about my experiences to friends, whom are experiencing negative service at their apartment properties. I may even have a few taking tours soon!Anywho, it’s people like him that would prompt me to renew my lease when it comes up. He’s a hard worker, is prompt about resolving issues, and takes pride in the service he provides.Even when he attended the pop up pool party, off-duty (of course, as he is a resident), he still was service-minded. He greeted me and spoke to me for a minute before walking around the entire pool deck speaking to everyone and checking in. It wasn’t necessary, but that’s just the type of person he is. Plus, he continued the party! I had a blast dancing with him and friends. Whoever selected that DJ, give them a bonus! He was great!
Natasha Sabbah: I am really in love with MS. Scott she is absolutely amazing! Walking into the building on a really bad day she always turns my day around with being so helpful with my kids, questions, office work and etc. I can’t thank her enough for going outside of her job duties to assist me with making my days easier. Thank You Ms. Scott you are appreciated! If I was the GM or HR that could give you bonus or raise: you would get the max. Thanks again!!!!!
Reilly Egan: Lance, Victor, and Kristy are amazing, my move in went so smoothly and they are so helpful. Uptown 550 is so nice and has the best people working for them!
Jackson Shannon: This is by far the best apartment I’ve ever lived in. From the start, the leasing office was extremely helpful, Payton and Amanda were extremely accessible and were a pleasure to work with while setting up our lease. The concierge desk is there 24/7 if you need them and Donnie and Jenelle and the rest of the team are always friendly and courteous. I love having a free barista in the lobby, the largest indoor hot tub in Charlotte, a private rooftop bar with events weekly, AND a private rooftop with outdoor tvs and fireplace. In addition to that, the golf simulator is awesome, the pool is exquisite, and the whole place is extremely luxurious. 12/10 would recommend to anyone looking for a nice apartment in uptown Charlotte.Adding this one about a month later, I lost my Apple Watch in the spa and Christian, one of the maintenance guys turned it into the concierge desk and when he saw me in the elevator mentioned it to me. I went to concierge and Candice had it for me!! I love this place!!
Liliana Mejia: Candice at Uptown 550 is the sweetest soul and has made me feel so welcome ever since I moved in 8 months ago. It has been an amazing experience living here and the fact that there are concierge staff like Candice makes it that much better
H Láree: Guy who helped me used me to his own benefit.

Catalyst Charlotte: what do users think?
Kiara D: So far, living at the catalyst has been bliss. It’s located right in the middle of everything, i have beautiful views, and the price is amazing for being in Uptown. Cars can be loud but that’s what happens when you live in the city. Maintenance has been nice and prompt (shout out to Brandon and the team), Grant and Jessica have also been great and super helpful. Kai and the concierge team are all friendly. My neighbors are quiet & super nice. I genuinely haven’t had any issues here. Only annoying thing can be the parking deck being across from the apartment but during games and events, I never have to worry about finding parking. They have a pretty good system for the residents. The elevator can take awhile sometimes but that’s mainly during busier hours of the day. Overall, I’ve lived in horrible apartments before and have lived in NYC so the little things i mentioned don't really bother me. I honestly can say The Catalyst is truly wonderful. ❤️ I’m very grateful to be here.
Tyler Wyatt: If you want to live in hell move here.
Lenny Walker-Tran: I've been in apartment living at various places for almost 30 years, but my experience at Catalyst Apartments from 2019 to 2022 was something else. So that this review isn't too long, I'm going to just summarize one of the problems: Particularly, one neighbor would habitually play music so loud from 2am onward that it made our furniture shake and bump off of the wall -- it sounded like thunder and lightning from our end of the floor to the other end of the building. A regular occurrence was hearing yelling, screaming, and partying so loud through the walls that made us feel like we were at a rocket launch, even when sitting solo in our own apartment.Despite our best efforts of calling the police and *forty eight* documented requests to apartment management, nothing effectual was done to fix the problem. Just crazy. To me, a no-brainer would have been to stop inviting tenants like that to renew their lease. After *three years* of our persistence (wayyy too long of this nightmare situation), they finally made him move out, in the last month of us living at the Catalyst, after we had already decided to leave. So, if you're thinking about moving in, you should know that you're about to be in for a rough ride. Unless you're a resident like the one I'm describing, then it's perfect. They'll keep you for as long as they can.Do yourself a favor and actually sort these reviews (newest first, or worst first) to see for yourself how Catalyst Apartments have majorly gone downhill.
Lucy Margo: Love the resident events and cheaper rent than the other highrises in the area! Management has always been prompt, helpful and friendly. The front desk staff cannot be beat.
Robert M: Good location but the condition of the property is in terrible shape, poor management.
Jess Ali: Just one word for you 'Run' - it's managed like a section eight project. Good location, old building, bad upkeep, you'll always find homeless in front of the property coming in and out, very unsafe, there's always police car in front of the property. Comparing to Accent across the street at the same rent it's below one star. Don't be fooled by paid reviews by the local guides.
Michael McMahon: The entire staff at Catalyst Charlotte goes above and beyond in providing a safe and comfortable place to live with luxurious amenities and great value for the area.Everyone in the leasing office is not only professional and friendly, they make you feel at home and don't just forget about you after you sign a lease. The front desk representatives are some of the nicest people around. They make sure we get our packages on time and remember our names. They always ask us how we are doing and make our busy days better. The maintenance staff knows their stuff. Whenever I've had a work order, the maintenance technicians were able to successfully diagnose the problem and address it immediately. I can't thank these guys enough, because I'm meticulous about the work being done right the first time. These guys live up to my expectations and then some. The parking situation is generally really good. Even on busy game days, you can find a spot because the property manager has a reasonable protocol in place to make sure there are spots available for everyone. They also make sure everyone follows the garage and parking rules. Unlike some apartment building garages, the spots aren't very cramped and tight for large SUVs. You can comfortably park a pickup here without issues. As far as amenities, I don't really use the pool, but the gym is awesome for an apartment building gym. My only gripe is that we don't have a StairMaster, but we do have plenty of treadmills. The building regularly hosts social events, and they are always nicely done with good food, good drinks, and good vibes.Lastly, Catalyst is close to everything. You can grab pizza at a place that's located in the building, though you do have to walk outside. Coffee is a two minute walk with multiple options. Sporting events such as football and baseball are less than a 2 minute walk from the building as well.Highly recommend Catalyst many times over and thank you again to all of the employees here for exceeding my expectations.
Mo S.: Substantial increase in rent but amenities, maintenance, and services remain subpar. Age old amenities, recently kitchen sink supported by wood planks literally fell off, filthy old hallway carpets- in two consecutive lease signing each time they promised to replace the carpet but never did. Very poor management, no empathy towards residents . Recently they towed my brand new car registered by their leasing agent as a second car with an RFID tag yet management towed it from an empty parking floor in 'non' reserved space cause it took up another space. AGM Chrissy (very rude and hostile) knew it's a resident's car by the RFID tag yet towed it w/out even a courtesy call - let that just sync in. Absolutely not recommended, they thrive making your life miserable- hostile management and unsafe environment.
amit jigajinni: The apartment and location hands down is great.Lack of empathy though. Here is a case Due to a technical issue on the app my auto pay got cancelled which I didn’t get notified. Coz if this not at my fault the rent was paid 4 days later than the cutoff and I was charged $ 75.They had sent an email on the last day of cut off directly stating you are now gonna be charged late fee.Basically without my fault but issue on their rental app I was fined. When I brought this to managements notice there was no consideration.I would have agreed with them if I missed to pay rent at my mistake but this is absolutely taking advantage.
Albert Popovian: From the first contact with the leasing office at the Catalyst Uptown Charlotte for a tour of the property I was amazed at the top quality of service. The property looks amazing and the staff are always willing to help with any questions or needs. When I had questions as a prospective tenant the leasing office answered them in a timely fashion. The application process and setup of the account was simple and easy. The concierge and maintenance staff are knowledgeable, friendly and professional. The facility is clean and kept up to date. If my experience so far is an small sample of what I will expect from this building and staff I know I will be extremely satisfied.Albert P.
Mariano Serafin: Huge increase in rent but no improvements in amenities whatsoever - very old hallway carpet, outdated furnitures/fixtures, dirty lobby area. You get terrible attitude from the customer service- very rude front desk attendees have no etiquette.
Jason Hartigan: Lived here, loved every minute of it. Honestly one of the best bang for the buck living situation you can have uptown. Plenty of parking, Big units that were actually originally built to be condos, so more high end for the time finishes. Amazing views, fantastic location, in the heart of uptown's most likely section. Also helps to have The 7 Eleven on site for all your late night cravings, and all the other restaurants and markets within a block. You can't go wrong living here.
Keegan Mix: Everybody from the concierge to the leasing office makes you feel right at home from day 1! Location is perfect right in the heart of uptown with everything within walking distance and nice apartments with spectacular views that are reasonably priced. Gladly renewing here!
Alexis M: I’ve got one thing to say… someone needs to fire the receptionist I walked in to get a tour and instead of a nice greeting I got “oh are you waiting on your friends” I said no and asked if she works there because she was sorting packages and it looked like maybe she was hired to sort packages or something and the response I got was “oh no I’m just standing behind the desk because I don’t work here” the attitude I got from this woman was unacceptable and extremely unprofessional but I’m sure that’s pretty obvious.
John Berglund: Recently had to leave due to family reasons. Loved living at the Catalyst. The location is amazing, the view of the park cannot be beat, and the people who work there are the best. They go out of their way to make you feel welcome and always greet you with a smile. I want to give Stacie a special shoutout. She did a great job in helping me find an amazing apartment and an even better job when I had to leave. She was very understanding and willing to work with me!
Hannah Allen: I just moved in a week ago and I have had a really great experience. Stacie was super responsive and helpful throughout the leasing experience, and all over email as I relocated from another state. I have met Katy, Giselle, and Kai at the front desk so far and they are all very friendly and super helpful with any question I have. There is another nighttime concierge who’s name I didn’t get but she has been a big help as well. I am very happy with my decision to move in here and have no complaints! Even small maintenance issues I had at move in were addressed quickly and the maintenance men were very nice as well.
Nakai Richardson: I moved in 7/17 below are the pros and cons:PROS:-The location is great it is centered in the middle of everything, you could go a few days without actually having to move your car-Khai at the front desk goes above and beyond-The view of Romeare Bearden Park is nice-I havent really used the amenities yet so I cant critique it but since they have some I'll add it inCONS:-The units are dated and it shows. When I moved in I hadn't actually seen my apartment yet but they told me they replaced the flooring so I trusted it. When I got in I would say my biggest issue was the grout in the bathroom being old/dirty. You can tell it hasn't been regrouted since they were built.-The cabinets are chipped and not the new more modern colors but that old brown wood color.-The kitchen backsplash is old and dated.-The water pressure is EXTREMELY low even after having maintenance look into it-The elevators are slow especially when everyone gets off of work-The garage is not connected to the building so once you park in the garage you have to ride the elevator down then come into the building and ride the elevator to your apartment-The mailbox key I was given does not work and hasn't worked since I moved in so I have to stop and ask concierge if I have mail-There's tons of dog lovers in this building so in the elevator I have seen dog pee and in the garage elevator dog poo-My air filter was filthy when I moved inIf you're looking for something more new, bright, and fresh I would suggest some of the newer buildings in Uptown which if I could do over I definitely would have chosen, but if location is your main thing and you can deal with some of the other stuff it might be a good fit for you.
Libby “Elizabeth” Gillette Owens: We applied at this place over a year ago and decided not to move in. They keep sending is emails as if we live there, about our apartment being inspected, car maybe getting towed, fire inspection, all kinds of dumb stuff, and I have asked at least 6 or 7 times to be removed from the database and they just keep emailing. The lady last time responded and said she would remove it and they emailed me AGAIN today... Thank God we didn't move in because of they can't handle deleting two email addresses I'm confident they can't manage a building. Definitely avoid.
Valued Client: New Asian lady at front desk is rudest lady on planet earth. I have made 200 deliveries here without a problem over the last year, but today a rude asian lady denied entry and threw me out for politely sying "Hi i have a delivery in 1118 for mark." She asks for name a 2nd time, so i said mark in 1118 again and she SLAMMED key on table. I said "wow really?" (Same thing she rudely said to me when i returned key 20 minutes ago). She screamed "REALLY!" And called cops and threw me out when i was only there for 1 minute and all i said was hi delivery in 1118. She is new employee and the rudest lady on face of earth. I have delivered to every building in city for years including hers hundred of times and never had a problem. How do you call cops and throw someone out for saying "hi delivery in 1118" when they just delivered to you 30minutes ago. She slammed key on table and screamed REALLY! SHE IS RUDE!
K J: Yezzzzz
Beth Young: I absolutely love living here, I can’t picture myself ever leaving. Not only is my apartment drop dead gorgeous, the service is beyond anything I’ve experienced before. The staff here feels like family. Maintenance requests are incredibly fast. I needed a light bulb changed (yes they do that!) and a fire alarm battery (they do that too!) and it was done within minutes of telling my fav Concierge Kai at the front desk. Don’t get me started on how wonderful he is. The neighborhood is amazing and the views are to die for. Wonderful and friendly neighbors and throughout the building. I honestly cannot think of a single con living here so glad I found this place.

Marq Midtown 205: what do users think?
Seph McWhite III: Overall the community itself is good as I’ve been a resident here for 5+ years. The renovations with the new property management company/owners look good. The only downside is the upkeep of cleanliness, cost cutting measures affecting the residents w/o input, and some new policies instituted are just disappointing.Instead of a sense of community and customer service focused even understanding that something’s would change. It’s more like, this what we did pay your increase/fees or get out.It was my hopes that by now the team here would do a resident an event with all of the leasing team present (meet & greet). That at least gives a sense of calm especially with so many changes/communications coming out. It provides a safe space for those who may want to express their concerns or just say thank you for what you doing as they know it’s not easy job as it may seem.So hopefully it gets better but as of now if asked there are better options than this community in its current state.
Brittnee Platte: This has been one of the best apartment complexes I’ve lived in. The staff has been amazing and the location is perfect. Literally right across from Target and other restaurants and shops in the same shopping center. They have a cool game room that has free arcade games and a pool table, and a separate lounge space that we have events in all the time. And the events are actually the best I’ve had held by an apartment complex. They had free professional pet photos, mimosa brunch, free Chick-fil-A, margarita kits, etc. Love living here :)
Caitlin Shepherd: Absolutely love Midtown! Super helpful staff and the location is perfect with a safe neighborhood.
Ami Weldehana: I have been living here for almost 2 years the staffs are so good and friendly. Mike always helps me. Thank you so much.
Ena Imai: Lived here for nearly 2 years now and it has become my home away from home:) The new staff have been very friendly and are always there to help (shoutout to Mike!) The recent renovations have been great and make the price so worth it. Will definitely miss this place.
Nancy Carrier: My husband and I have lived here for a little over 6 years. Time flies! We were not pleased with the facility management after a beloved community manager went to another property. We started looking for other places to live then woke up one morning to find we were now a Greystar property. We had heard good things about the company and gave it a whirl. After a complete renovation of the property, we already feel like we moved! We love all of the new decor and updates! The building is fun again! The community staff is friendly and they are problem solvers. The maintenance team is quick and efficient. We are so happy we are not going anywhere! We love Greystar! Nancy and Doug
Yaya Sheriff: I been living at Midtown 205 for about a year now and I would say its been an amazing experience. I’m honestly in love with the renovations and the Luxe package system. Since this new system I haven’t had any of my packages missing. I also enjoy all of the engagement activities the management team does for the complex. Just to list a few of my favorites: Christmas Presents Wrapping Station, Virtual Wine Tasting, and the St Patricks Day Pretzel Wall. The parking garage has lots of spaces on each floor and no break ins. The security at this complex is top notch.Overall its a nice quiet apartment complex, with amazing amenities, great rates and a fast responding management team. Also Target and Chipotle is walking distance.
Christian Snow: I can't say enough wonderful things about the Midtown 205 team, especially Kylie. I'm originally from North Carolina and had been living on the West Coast for 7 years when a job opportunity in Charlotte, close to family, landed in my lap. I had only a few weeks to drop everything and make the move. Obviously with situations like these, many stressful situations arise. The one thing I never had to worry or stress over, though, was the process of locking down an apartment at what I felt was an affordable rate, all the while feeling supported by the leasing team. They have answered every single question I had quickly, provided support in the leasing process and welcomed me with open arms on move in day despite there being many hurdles along my journey from the west coast to Charlotte. I can't thank them enough and am very excited to call Midtown 205 home. The facilities are beautiful, the neighbors are friendly, and the location simply can't be beat. Thank you again Midtown 205 team and shoutout to Kylie!!!
Talha Danish: Great place to live, its been 3 months living here enjoying all the facilities & amenities, great people !! Loved the prompt response for the work order .Thanks to all maintenance people
Tori Noon: Stephanie and Kylee in the leasing office are so helpful and kind. Looking forward to making Midtown 205 home!
Destiny Kasubaski Rosado: I’ve lived at Midtown 205 for almost 2 and a half years. I rented a studio and then upgraded to a one bedroom. The transfer process was extremely easy and pain free. Overall, I loved the former management, so I was skeptical when the new team took over. It’s been a few months now and I can honestly say living here is even better. We used to get weekly fire alarms that have finally been taken care of. We now have wood floors in the hallways which are far better than carpet considering the property is pet friendly and accidents happen. I wasn’t a fan of the Fetch mail service like previous reviews, but it has been discontinued and it says a lot about the management that they listened to tenants and provided a better solution. The views of the city from my apartment are amazing. Our neighbors are quiet and very respectful. I really feel like I scored when I found Midtown 205 in 2020. I’ll be sad to go when the time comes to leave.
Daija Vue Beauty: Midtown 205 has been a great living experience for me so far! As a new tenant, I was a little hesitant b/c of some reviews, however they have over exceeded my expectations! My move in was super easy and organized, the team at Midtown are very communicative and welcoming! Micheal and Kylie are always quick to get back to me with any questions I have and they are both very pleasant and carry good energy! The community hallways are clean and smell fresh. I really couldn’t ask for a better living experience!
Heather Johnson: The worst place I have ever lived. I don't recommend to anybody.
Clare Pezzullo: I’ve lived here for a year now and I have literally nothing but good things to say about midtown 205!!! First off the leasing office is SO responsive, friendly and always answers my questions if not right away within a 1hr of reaching out. Mike especially is amazing and so helpful! The maintenance team always comes same day I put in my request and goes above and beyond. The staff here is just 10/10 all around. I love my apartment and the new renovations like the game room and gym are so nice. All around I’m feel very lucky to be living here:)
Wayne Alston: Great location
Hope: Greystar purchased it from CWS. It's definitely not as great as it once was. The leasing staff and mgmt are all trash! They've renovated some spaces to justify the price gouging. However, none of it is worth it. Greystar are the slumlords of the luxury community. Check the Attorney Generals Office and the BBB. They have a ton of resident complaints. They don't do repairs and don't maintain their units. I've heard that there is a class action in the works. So stay tuned!
Andres Gonzalez: It’s Christmas morning and I’m writing this review sitting outside. While the fire alarm is going off once again (has happened more times than I can count since I moved here). After being told multiple times the problem has been fixed, the third time in less than two months makes me believe that once again, management lied. This problem is just the tip of the iceberg. The disregard this complex has had for the tenants during these renovations has been borderline inconsiderate, and it only makes us believe they are just winging the entire thing.Do not live here. I promise you it’s not worth it.
Janet Jaimes: I completely regret moving here. They are still having fire alarm issues where it goes off randomly. It’s Xmas day. When will we know when it’s a real one??I moved in because I was super happy about the amenities but they immediately went under construction and I haven’t seen a return in my investment. I’m paying for things I can’t use. There’s been car break ins in the garage. Construction workers are always leaving the doors open while working despite getting emails from management for US, tenants to make sure the doors close, who knows who’s actually wandering the halls. The person who showed me the place really fooled me. I asked her questions about the fire alarms and amenities and little did I know they weren’t going to be available for months and that she was going to lie to me. They are nice people though but not worth it for what I’m paying here.
Baby Berk: The best apartment clean and quiet. Mallory Ocasio she is the best customer care. Thank you so much.
Brooke Morris: I liked living here before the new management came in. Things have started to go downhill since. The new Fetch package delivery system and being charged $28 a month ($336 dollars annually), for the possibility of getting MAYBE one package sent to me is absurd. Paying $15XX from moving in last year to now paying $18XX is also absurd. There have been no new amenities and maintenance is less responsive than they were with the previous management. I'm fully expecting them to raise the rent to $1900+ next year for my one bedroom apartment but we'll see.Other than those issues, the people here are nice and respectful.Edit: Changing my 3 star to a 2 star, as the Fetch Delivery System is the largest inconvenience I've encountered. I understand management wants to present an orderly mail room; however I would just like to be able to receive my packages. It takes DAYS to have them deliver after USPS/UPS/FedEx has delivered your mail to the Fetch Warehouse. Their customer service is an automated messaging system that takes DAYS to get a response from an actual team member after submitting a complaint. Midtown 205 should make Fetch OPTIONAL, as most people are already paying for services like Amazon Prime to get our packages delivered quickly, just to have them sent to Fetch and take 4x longer to receive. The entire process is counterproductive and extremely frustrating. There have been more than enough reviews complaining about Fetch for Midtown 205 to realize that residents are unhappy about this.
Amanda Hoang: Michael Martinez was super helpful during our leasing experience! He would answer almost instantly every time we would have a question and made the process quick and easy.

Museum Tower: what do users think?
Ezban Morrissette: While the building does have 24 hour concierge, please note that they will not process a lockout request to allow entry into your apartment if there is ever an emergency situation and you do not have a physical ID. I was in another building in the Uptown Charlotte area that was evacuated and was therefore unable to obtain my belongings (keys and wallet were stowed away in my bag upstairs) due to already being on the first floor of the building when the alarms began ringing and not being allowed to return upstairs for obvious reasons. Although concierge knew me, called my cell number to make sure my phone rang, and I showed them a scanned copy of my passport on my phone, and offered to show the real passport once my door was opened (physical passport was in my apartment), they still would not allow me into my apartment as they said the leasing manager said “no” when she was contacted. I had no physical ID or credit cards to get a hotel room due to not having my wallet, yet concierge said the leasing manager would not approve this unique circumstance when they contacted her. I’ll also add that while all of this was going on, I emailed the manager and leasing department twice about the situation and asked concierge to ask the manager if she could check emails that I’d sent. I expected the leadership at an apartment building within this price point to exercise a bit more situational leadership and compassion when dealing with complex situations such as this instead of resulting to a blanketed statement as simple as “we need a physical ID to allow you in” even though concierge knew me, called my cell phone directly to verify that phone was in my possession, was provided with an electronic copy of my passport, and was offered to be shown my physical passport once I was allowed in. Additionally, prior to telling me that they were unable to assist me, concierge nor leasing never inquired about any additional complexities with this unique situation such as whether I needed to access lifesaving medicines in my apartment, if there was an animal that needed to be tended to or even if there were any potential safety concerns for the building and other residents such as food currently being prepared in a slow cooker that could eventually overheat.
Chris Berry: The manager Rachael and staff listened to our needs and found just the right apartment lease for us in a stellar location in the building. Excellent and fast follow up.
Nollag Harkin: I loved living in this building! The facilities are amazing, the location is fantastic and all of the people who work in the building are wonderful. It was a real pleasure to get to call this home while in Charlotte.
Recover Light Therapy: Very very negative experience. Cannot recommend. I would recommend Hawk, the Francis or Ascent
Mario Savio: Overall negative…. Wouldn’t advise a friend moving in. Have fun w the elevator delays, broken equipment, and customer service you would not expect from a luxury high rise.
Kenneth J Robinson ministries: The building is falling apart customer service is horrible . The elevator been down for almost a year . The garage door is broken . Trash shoot was down for months . It’s not luxury living .
jenah: Amazing views, reasonably priced for a spacious high rise building, a rooftop pool and conveniently located.
Heather Garsik: I absolutely love living here. The staff is very helpful and responsive. Great location with lots to do around it.
Gary Campbell: I love the building It's just that we need to do a better job vetting the tenants because their are so many with dogs who do not know how to care for them and let them release themselves on property.
Peyton Mandel: Museum Tower has been a wonderful community for me over the past year and a half - the convenience and proximity to everything is unmatched and the support provided by the concierge team and leasing office has been better than other complexes at which I’ve lived in the past.
Hannah Bradford: Great place to live!! Concierge is so kind and helpful.
Allison Varner: Great place to live!
Luis M: Have never had a problem while living in the building. All of my maintenance requests get taken care of quickly!
A. Vann: I've lived here almost a year and don't plan to renew my lease. I've lived in "luxury" high rise buildings across the country and this is the worst one.Pros: proximity to the arts, restaurants and sportsCons: elevators are always broken, the trash chute has been down a month with garbage bins on every floor, the entrance always smells of urine, the garage is filthy and there are usually more non residents using amenities than actual residents. Please spend your $2k-$4k at a better building.
Alex Trifunovic: Moved in March 2020 and find it impossible to recommend living here. This building is 43 stories tall and two critical amenities fail constantly: currently we are down one elevator and the trash chute has been out of order for over a month… residents now have to bring their trash down with them in elevators that are more crowded and slower than ever! Anyone who’s lived here more than six months knows the TKE elevator repairmen on a first name basis bc of how often they are onsite and with the wait times in the lobby (but funnily enough management fires and replaces the concierge staffing agency about twice a year so don’t bother getting tight them)! In speaking to one of the technicians, he admitted to me that the “wrong elevators” were installed given the level of activity in the building (which makes no sense to me since 43 stories is a lot no matter whether commercial or residential). The elevators/trash chute failing compounds three other issues: 1) move-in and move-outs where an additional elevator is taken offline, 2) the Club amenity level at the top of the building is still being actively rented out for events on weekends even when critical infrastructure is down, and 3) too many people in here have dogs that can’t squeeze their bladder as long as the elevators demand when we’re down to one or two functional rides for the entire building. As a result, either entrance is surrounded by dog excrement that they’re cleaning it daily and still losing the battle against the smell. Finally, we did have a major issue over the course of nine months where management refused to evict our neighbor that was using our shared balcony as a restroom for her 80lb dog. Ultimately, Animal Control was dispatched to the scene but management refused to cooperate with them when they arrived! We had to withhold rent AND initiate Meck County’s Tenant Landlord Dispute process to get them to treat the issue seriously.PS. I almost forgot to mention that on our first renewal following the pandemic, management would not offer us a fair renewal rate. Same unit on a higher floor was renting for $1k less and they wouldn’t budge until we gave notice to vacate.Reading back over this before I post, it’s hard to believe I’m reviewing a luxury apartment building and not a slum… but you can’t beat the commute!
Mike Morgan: Couldn't pick a better place to live in Uptown Charlotte! The location is a 10/10. The amenities are incredible, if you like rooftop pools with outdoor TVs Grilling Areas and Gas Fireplaces, expansive common areas with excellent seating areas, pool table and TVs all around and some of the best views of the city in the city! Staff is excellent, from the Consierge service when you walk in to the managers, maintenance and cleaning staff. Everyone shows up with a great attitude and does their best to help the residents in whatever way possible. Love this place!
Carter Dwight: Living here is great. Everyone is friendly, and it is conveniently located.
Ty Cruz: Great experience living here. Amenities and views are best in Charlotte
Brandi Stone: I have been a resident at Museum Tower for three years and just renewed my lease. Museum Tower is the best high rise apartment complex in uptown Charlotte hands down and I’ve pretty much been to all of the other high rises in this area.I think because it’s the best high rise in Charlotte the slightest nuisance or inconvenience will send some residents here into a rage which is understandable as someone who pays good money to live here. But because I’ve been here for so long I understand that those moments are only temporary and pretty normal. The staff are nice. Rachael is very helpful and communicative and the concierge is always professional. The community events are cool and you really can’t beat the views and amenities.I’ve met a lot of great people here at the pool and the residents are pretty friendly as well.I enjoy living at Museum Tower and I’m sure you will too.
David Walker: My best friends found out they were having a baby, last fall. They live in Charlotte. So, I hopped on Google and YouTube. I was led to several Uptown high rises. among the top 3 was the Museum Tower. I stopped for a tour with Katie. While waiting in the lobby, I was impressed by the amount of work the concierge was doing while staying courteous and professional at all times. Katie showed me several floor plans and all of the impressive common spaces. I met several residents. They were all amazing, genuinely nice people. They shared their personal experiences with me. They were NOTHIGN like the negative reviews I have read here. It just goes to show. People are more likely to share pain rather than positive experiences. I can't even believe someone was so petty after their application (very thorough process) rejected, they complained about parking spaces being too small.. lol. "Sour grapes?" definitely !My experience so far:Museum Tower in Uptown Charlotte, NC has a first class concierge staff, incredible leasing staff, beautiful property with spectacular views, friendly welcoming residents, tough application process to sort out less responsible people, in an unbeatable location.I have had flawless communication every step of the way. I do not believe I have ever had a pre-move in experience as good as the Museum Tower staff has delivered.I can't believe this was an exception, there has not been one miss by anyone.I have no choice but give a 5-star review.
Nahari Stallworth: The concierge staff is amazing, my lease agent was great, atmosphere is lovely, building is clean . I can keeping going but don’t want to ramble off ! Lol
