Nick Ligon: Terrible Order Support.Purchased a desk and a chair on the IKEA website for in-store pickup the same day. They said it would be ready between 3-4pm. Get to the store, the order has been moved to the 8-9 window and the online-order representative at the store said even that was unlikely with how slow the order collections had been.He said to cancel my online order and pick up the items myself; which I did. Went on the app and IKEA would not let me cancel the order. Then got to checkout and the lady there said "oh the order will cancel automatically if not picked up by the end of the day." Next day came, no cancellation and no refund.Go back online and the option to cancel the order is not available. Call customer service. They cancel the order and say it will be refunded in about 14 business days.It is Absolutely ridiculous nowadays to have to wait 2 weeks to get refunded on an order they never fulfilled when they said and couldn't cancel properly like any other normal large-scale retailer.Garbage company that needs some work at the top.

While we found some great deals on items and enjoyed the food at the restaurant, there were some notable negatives that impacted our overall experience.On the positive side, we were pleased with the quality of the items we purchased, and some of them had excellent deals that made our visit worthwhile. The restaurant also impressed us with its good food offerings, providing a pleasant break during our shopping experience. Additionally, the bathrooms were clean and well-maintained, which is always appreciated.Unfortunately, the main downside was the lack of attentive staff near the sections to assist customers. On the afternoon of 7th July, we observed the staff gathering and chatting with each other in one corner, seemingly disinterested in providing help or guidance. It made it challenging to seek assistance when we had questions or needed advice regarding the items.One particularly frustrating incident occurred at the lady's billing counter in the sale tent. She seemed indifferent and failed to greet us properly. When we asked her to look up my wife's rewards number, she didn't take it down accurately, leading to confusion. It took numerous attempts to convey the number correctly as there appeared to be a miscommunication or possible hearing issues on her end.While we understand that human errors happen, it was disappointing that the lack of attention and the communication difficulties affected our interaction. We hope that Ikea addresses these areas of improvement to enhance the customer experience and ensure better service in the future.Overall, despite the negatives we encountered, we still appreciate the good deals, quality items, and clean facilities at Ikea. However, we believe that focusing on improving customer service and ensuring better communication between staff members will greatly enhance the overall experience for visitors.
Jessica: Café was great! The staff was friendly and food delicious. Although the store was busy, navigation wasn't stressful. My only qualm was at checkout. The Express Lane attendant was helping my fiancé and I with my new Projekt card. They had no prior training on Ikea card usages and called for a manager, that never showed up. They were overwhelmed however eventually figured it out on their own. They stayed patient and did a great job. However, where was management??

I did order my item online but when we nearly got the end of building the chest of drawers, we realized we were given 18 of one type of screw and missing the correct ones. We drove a little out of our way to go to our nearest Ikea but we were very blessed to be helped by Z. She was not only helpful but courteous and polite. She went above and beyond what would have been expected of someone working in customer service. I'm happy to say that even though this was my first time shopping from Ikea, the missing screws situation did not put me off and more so, because of Z 😊

Lots of quality products and some not so good quality, but hey, nobody is perfect. Coming from Sweden 🇸🇪 Ikea has a special place in my heart. Just give it a try, and you will not be disappointed.

I highly recommend that feature/service if you have kids or are short on time. We got all our boxes/parts/rods/etc., and in less than 5 mins we were on our way.

man le: The workers here do not care about the rules of the bins, even before any of the bins are set out everyone starts digging through them. The empolyees also have favorites and give preference to them.
s w: Its better than the regular good will stores since they have set prices but they go by the pound clothes, shoes, accessories, purses, anything in the bins. I wish I discover this store years ago. The items are used the bins aren't organized they don't separate men, women, kids, baby clothing in one bin and some of the clothing smell or aren't in good condition. I heard the price per lb kept increasing due inflation. But its still better than going to other good will locations. Only issue for me is that its on the other side of town. They do bring out new bins and take out the old bins so people be going crazy with the bins and they run out of carts. Overall its ok just be careful with what items you buy since its final sale.
Shartrel Brown: This is the Olympics of Goodwill stores! It's competitive. You gotta be quick to the bins. Pro-tip: be gassy eat a lot of beans and people will stay away from you. There are tons of treasures here! I found an old wife-beater with the Coors logo AND some sunglasses. One day I even scored a pair of old army bdu pants. All for super cheap too! I just couldn't believe it When you need inexpensive clothes and want to support a good cause this is a GREAT place to visit!!!
rpsellers: After calling and asking if they accepted the items I wanted to donate from cleaning out my parents' home, I pulled up to the donation drop off, only to have a rude employee come outside, begin pointing and telling me how "we don't take that, we might take this, have to inspect those," then he began pawing through stuff like he was shopping from my donations! I took everything away with me and will never - NEVER - support Goodwill again. If this kind of rude behavior is what you allow your employees to exhibit, you don't want my donations or support.
Lynn Elliott: Well that was fun. I went on a weekday so it wasn't crowded. You do have to dig for treasures but they are certainly there. I wanted cashmere sweaters for craft projects. I found 4. I also found a gorgeous matelasse comforter that is currently on the manufacturers website for hundreds of dollars and I also found a beautiful handmade quilt. I will be back.

We got a bad toy one once and thought maybe it was just that one but they’re continuing to be horrible. Broken toys, large baby toys missing all the pieces, open board games with most pieces missing, etc. And of course they’ve raised the price to $95. Waste of money and we will not be back.

Jami Russo: If I could give zero stars I would. I have never in my entire life seen a group of grown adults go absolutely rabid over a pile of clothes until I stepped foot into this store. On top of that I was verbally berated by a worker who acted like he was purposely going to run into me for “standing in the way” (aka me standing behind a pole) as they were bringing out new bins. People were standing on top of each other, ripping things out of other peoples hands just to get their hands on unwashed bed sheets, sad looking kids clothing and ripped t-shirts with questionable stains. I love thrifting and taking the time to dig through piles is fun but, this place is on a whole other level of NO for me. Ridiculous behavior from staff and the people who go here. No one respects anyone. Sad to see at such a nice looking Goodwill.

Tami Gosselin: It was a bit overwhelming, we went on a Saturday, so that aided the overwhelm a bit. Sorting through bins was a bit taxing, trying to push by everyone else, but also exciting! My son found some stuff he really seemed to like, and the pricing is way better than other thrift shops around. The bathroom only had two stalls for the ladies room, definitely not enough! I will probably make my way back on a weekday morning next time.

Luke Lavorato: There are lots of ways to buy a sectional sofa in Charlotte. Big box stores, liquidation warehouse sales that never deliver on what they promise OR you can just go to K & D’s. Don’t wast your time like I did. Go to K & D, tell Dennis what you’re looking for, he‘ll hook it up and then send his professional guys to set it up. Stephen came thru, on-time and was quick and efficient with the setup. He wouldn’t even accept my cash tip!! I can’t say enough good things about this company. I found it on facebook market and was skeptical at first, but visited the location and everything was so nice and professional including the staff. They had a lot of quality pieces in the store. We picked up the table and chairs in boxes and put them together when we got home and it was super easy and looked just like the model we saw in the store. The prices are amazing and the customer service from them gave us the impression they were caring and helpful. We purchased a 5pc bed set and everything was fine until about 3 days in, the bed frame unfortunately snapped off and broke. They are made of cheap wood and not bigger people friendly. If you’re a bit bigger refrain from buying the bed set or ask for more support. Had we known this would happen this wouldn’t have been something we purchased. I reached out to the owners who are extremely responsive but continuously got the run around. The bed was never fully fixed and we unfortunately had to replace the bed frame completely. They did send someone in a good timeframe but they didn’t know how to accommodate our issue. When we had someone come out here to help it was constantly “we have to reach out to our warehouse for pieces” how they had to come back another day, and they even went as far as just telling us to attempt to fix the bed ourselves. It just was not a good experience after that. Our issue took a total of 22 days to come to the conclusion that we had to get a new bed. BUY THE BEDS WITH CAUTION!!!!

Marc: Just went to browse and see the new shop. The overall feel of the store and showroom feels more like a curated museum than a store. I enjoyed the room concept so much more so that you can envision what items might look like in your actual space.The sales associate was very welcoming and knowledgeable. I felt like I was being taken care of but not smothered. I will be back!
Rick Barley: I recently purchased a Herman Miller chair from DWR. The general manager (Rick) guided me through the process and was a huge help. I was able to fully evaluate the chair in-person before purchasing, and Rick made himself available multiple times after my chair arrived to do a thorough virtual demo and answer follow-up questions I had. If you're in the area and considering such a chair, DWR will take great care of you throughout the process and make sure you get what you need.
