Lee's Creative Sewing and Vacuums: what do users think?
Steve Bucci: Great experience! Our vacuum wasn't working correctly and they quickly resolved the issue. Much better than buying a new vacuum. Highly recommend!
Tasha Perrini: If I can’t give this place like 100,000 stars I would. He knows how to fix a multi needle machine I was in the middle of orders could not get my orders done because I just had so many problems out of my machine. I literally dropped it off today at 10 AM right when they open I was actually there early and sat in the car until somebody open the door . I literally got a text message at 5:20 that my machine is ready for pick up. I was told that my machine will take a week they try to do these first because they’re big and bulky and they don’t have room for them. so I was thinking OK I’ll come get it next week. I can’t speak for everybody’s machine because mine was just a very easy fix . But I literally got my machine back the exact same day and that’s amazing because now I don’t have to worry about pushing my clients behind on orders. They even added extra parts for me that guy was randomly missing on my machine. done a stitch test out and made sure everything was working. My machine is running brand spanking new like out of the box again. Your machines are like a car so make sure you take care of them go drop them off at this place and he will take care of you. I want to say thank you so much from a small business.A lil smitten
C R: Doesn't sell Janome sewing machine parts
TP Nostalgia: Not the friendliest. I did not feel welcome at all. They were also unable to tell me what they actually fixed with the sewing machine I brought in for repair.
Pork Mustard: I stopped by here to review their selection of machines and the lady, can't remember her name, gave me a demo of a machine that would fit my needs. She was very friendly and answered all my questions.
Joy Hallman: I was recently considering purchasing a new flat bed embroidery machine and had seen representatives from Lee’s Creative Sewing and Vacuums at an event a couple of years ago, so decided to call to ask questions about the Brother line. Barry was so incredibly helpful that I decided to visit his store - which is 3 hours from my home. Happily, I am now the proud owner of a Luminaire and cannot say enough good things about Brother and the terrific attention Barry and the staff have given me. I will be taking another machine up in a couple of weeks for him to service and I’m sure my needs will be more than met by Barry and his team at Lee’s. For anyone looking to buy an embroidery machine, please call and speak to Barry before you do - you won’t be sorry!!
Georgie Davey: Thank you for your kind and courteous help today !!
Patti Rogers: THEY FIXED MY SEWING MACHINE! I am thrilled with the knowledge and the attention to my needs regarding my sewing machine.. I spent the evening joyfully free motion quilting with a machine that runs like a dream!
shalom charlotte: I gave two stars, one because it's near my house and the other for the selection. What's left off is service. As a small business owner, I can't imagine not even looking up when a customer comes in. They do not care one bit if you are greeted or finding what you need, or anything. They're not rude but they are cold as ice.The one with the long gray hair is the worst offender. When she speaks. it's so clear you are bothering her.I only go when I absolutely have to!
Diane Williams: I absolutely love this sewing shop.Always professional. Helpful and clean store
Hannah Reynolds: I had a mishap with my bobbin case and ended up ruining its alignment in my machine. Thankfully the kind people at this store were willing to screw it all back in place, free of charge. Only took them 5 minutes to put everything back in its place and send me on my way with a functioning machine! So appreciative for the quick and friendly service!
Ruth Lothers: I brought my 20 year old Brother sewing machine purchased before moving to this area to be serviced. It was skipping stitches. Barry looked up the part that needed to be replaced, found that it was not longer made by the company, found a new part from another store and repaired my machine. He also helped me with 2 other machines--very helpful. It's good to actually see and talk to the helpful person who does the repair. 5 stars indeed!!
Dorothy Hall: My experience was great! They were knowledgeable about my machine and serviced it promptly. It is running well 👍
Sara Fraker: I have a combo embroidery/sewing machine that I am slowly figuring out how to use. I stopped in to get some thread and spoke with Berry. He was incredibly helpful, kind and patient with my questions. He explained quite a few things to me including the differences between threads. The thread I purchased is sooo much better than the junk I got at a local chain store. It doesn't jam or fray and my work looks much nicer! The woman who was at the register was sweet and friendly. We had a great conversation. :-)I was amazed at the amount of accessories and supplies they have for sale! I have found my new store for all things sewing/embroidering.
Sarah Chick: I had the most wonderful buying experience after visiting and being disappointed by multiple (other) sewing shops. Karen was knowledgeable and patience while I learned about the available machines and we worked together to figure what fit my needs and budget. Neither her nor the owner were once pushy or standoff-ish. I am very pleased with my purchase and they will certainly be my 1st visit for any future sewing needs.
Victoria H.: My husband and I visited the store yesterday, and I was pretty shocked on how we were initially treated (it wasn't southern hospitality) basically we were ignored by an older lady. Lindsey quickly came toassist with his knowledge and expertise.
Richard Wise: This is a great place to buy and a wealth of information. They are all very helpful and knowledgeable.
Laura Neidich: Just picked up my Bernina from being serviced. Service was done well and returned fast! The store also had stuff I need to do my sewing projects and helpful staff to assist!
Lindsey Aune: The staff is great! They helped me pick out the right machine for me and they provided quick service. I bought a used machine and after the service and cleaning, it looked brand new. It was ready when they said it would be. Very friendly and helpful. I'll be back for all my machine needs.
Nate Wolf: Bernina and Brother sewing machine authorized repair center. Miele dealer for luxury vacuum sales and service and also carries in-stock supplies like bags and hepa filters. Central whole house vacuum cleaner systems. Have bought and recommended to many clients for their homes. Located beside Target at Rea Rd near the CHIC-FIL-A. Finished service on my machine ahead of schedule!
Jacqueline Martin: ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE!!! I am so pleased that I stopped in today. I wanted to look at a couple of embroidery machines that I had researched online. They were so helpful. They gave more information than I expected, were patient with answering my questions, they explained the promotions on the machines, the additional bonus options offered by their shop specifically, and added a couple of items they knew I needed to get started. I was able to come home, open my new toy, and have everything I needed for my test run. They also offer FREE classes for the machines they sell as well as project classes for a fee. I will certainly continue shopping here.

We're Sew Creative: what do users think?
Jane Fijal: Nice selection of notions, sewing machines for sale, long arm (probably for rental hours?) and variety of fabrics.
Bonnie Finster: The staff was very helpful in helping me select a fabric for my quilt backing.
Bonnie Preslar: Enjoyed my visit there today! Very nice and helpful sales ladies!!!!
pattie komons: The shop was so well organized with a huge variety of products. The staff was so helpful, providing support on items in question. Learned alot about long arm machines, and even got an opportunity to try one! An experience that was "sew" great!!
Evalyn Wallingford: What fun. Exploring on Shop Hop & finding hidden treasures.
MsHinsonm: Was there while visiting the area. I have been once before and had a lovely experience. However, this time the staff barely acknowledge my presence and I was the only customer in the whole store…They seemed far too busy rearranging the store for an event starting the next day. Do we really need to do this when a customer is in the store and just being completely ignored? Sale room prices were hardly sale prices. I wear a mask due to health conditions and all they did the whole time I was there was stare me down. I will not be going back to spend money at a store that can’t be bothered to treat their customers with any respect or kindness. It does appear the Carolina shop hop is about to begin…go get your stamp, but take your money elsewhere to somewhere less stuck up. Thanks for nothing “We’re so stuck up and judge mental”
R Bjork: Beautiful fabric and wonderful advice. I was using fabric to cover the back of inexpensive bookcases. I didn’t want to spend lots of money or time but wanted to have a nice reading nook in my new home. In a few years I plan to add built in bookcases and will use these in the garage. In the meantime, I’m quite happy with the fabric, advice I received, and the end result.
Morris Herbert: Great place for anything sewing. Machines, fabrics, quilts, ect...
Ramon Gonzalez: These people were extremely patronizing and sexist because I was a beginner to sewing. My first project was to sew curtains and they told me to just go out and buy them. I guess that's what men are supposed to do. I gathered that they cater to old ladies and middle aged women who are interested in "quilting." I am an accomplished artist and my one of the media I work in is textiles. When I mentioned that, they backed off a little bit and reluctantly sold me a simple machine. I don't recommend the place unless your female and want to "quilt" using a machine. I'll never go back there to bother them again and if you're an artistic hispanic male, maybe you shouldn't either. "We're sew matronly creative."
Patty Matteson: I visited this shop with my niece while vacationing in the Charlotte area. The staff was busy with other customers when we arrived, but immediately came over and welcomed us when they were free. The fabric is well organized and current and the selection is impressive. The prices are a little high, but given our current economy, it's understandable. Sure, I could find fabric slightly cheaper on-line, but there's something undeniably inspiring about visiting a brick and mortar shop like this one. Highly recommend.
Ann Cripps: Friendly people, good selection
Tammy Richardson: Love this shop! They have great sales and an eye for fabric/patterns that are appealing
Nik M: ITS 2021. I walked into this store looking for a fabric match from a swatch. NOT ONE person working Acknowledged, greeted or offered assistance the entire 15mins I was in the store. These elderly white women treated me like I was sitting downtown Charlotte 1964. SMDH. You people need to DO BETTER. I would NEVER EVER purchase sh!t from this hole. All walks of life on this earth Folks... DO BETTER.
Julie Turner: Bernina brought in for cleaning. Picked up the machine and went to use. Does not look clean! Will not use again... Do not recommend.
C Grasser: Wow! Such great service. I live on the opposite coast, ordered on Wednesday and it was in my mailbox on Friday! Thank You! Love seeing products and you live online—wish I could visit the shop in person, but that is the next best thing!!!
Liz Avossa: Helpful staff and a great fabric selection!! Thanks for being a fun place to shop for my quilts. :)
Whitney Kay: I’ve been going here since I moved to the area 7 years ago. The staff is kind and knowledgeable & know me by name at this point. They have a great selection of fabric & notions for every preference. Pete and Doug are really helpful and have worked with me for the past few years as I purchased a Q24 Longarm from them this year.
Katie Dyess: Such an amazing quilt shop!!
Debbi Pudgil: Great customer service, Always helpful staff, and Owners are frequently and regularly even on the sales floor ready to help with any assistance needed. Even if you just need help carrying a heavy or not so heavy machine. No matter what you are looking for in quilting and most sewing products, This is the place! If you don’t see something ask, they usually can get what you need. If you order online no worries your order is very quick between order to shipping. Fastest processing I’ve ever gotten. If in Concord area Stop in you won’t be disappointed.
Tina Garcia: Shipped very fast Thank you!!
d m: I absolutely love this shop...friendly staff, beautiful fabrics and super organized. There are classes and events to increase your knowledge while having fun. The teachers really care. For example, during a Kimberbell event, the teacher addressed the dietary needs for the participants at lunch. I have bought several machines through the years knowing the price and service would be great. Pete, co-owner and technician, sat with me for an hour while I stitched on a project that was causing me issues. He is both supportive and knowledgeable. I am happy to be part of the"We're Sew Creative" family!
