She taught me about the science behind skin and what products are safe to use and what type of food to eat to improve my acne and also healthy everyday practices to do to prevent breakouts. Manning Davis: It’s women history month and the perfect time to speak about this woman. Shara came across my TikTok and I followed her from that video. I was hesitant at first because some people are not who they say they are. She is definitely who she says she is. I booked for a virtual appointment and her knowledge and concern about my skin was noteworthy. She took the time to answer any questions or concerns. She gave me her recommendations on my current regimen and what she would recommend for what I was concerned about. Fast forward, I purchased and received my items. I will definitely give an update 8 weeks from now. Even though I just started she has been checking on me and ensures me that she is available for any of my needs. I recommend you take this opportunity and book your consultation too. I can’t be the only one with beautiful skin. These photos are day zero. Update loading in 8 weeks. FYI.. I’m 46.4 week update. I get my face waxed, I've had a wonderful a facial and I do vitamin infusions with Dr. Nicole (PhD, nurse practioner, owner). She does a great job. Melissa Kreager: I have been meaning to write to spread the word about the Babydoll lash and lash tint package at Simply Skin. I went in for a facial almost three months ago and asked about lashes. Kim curled and tinted them and I am just now having to go back to get them curled again - almost three months later. I can't wait to get back in there. It cuts my morning routine time in half and makes my eyes look much more awake throughout the day. I have wished for longer lashes but wanted a more natural look and the curl lasted forever. I can't say enough about them. The facial was wonderful too. I'm looking forward to going back.

Over the years, I have received many different types of treatments....microdermabrasion, permanent makeup, peels, and Revitalite. Kim Berry: This group will always WOW you! They are so skilled with the procedures that I immediately trust them. I have personally had the Profound treatment and would HIGHLY recommend it! Literally no down time or discomfort and the results are already amazing me in a very short time. I have also had the Halo treatment and excited about my new face! From the moment I stepped into her business, she made me feel the upmost comfort. So comfortable, that in that first minute of our introductions, I literally cried to her about my skin. As a woman of color whom also has had PCOS since very tender teenage days, my skin has been through the wire! Excessive facial hair growth, ingrowns, dark spots, you name it. Candace delegated a plan of care of how we’ll work together to get my skin healthy again, because remember, you have to do your part at home too! I drove over an hour and a half to Charlotte, NC from West Columbia, SC for her work and I am glad I did. She performed a Jessner peel on me today and provided me with aftercare products, instructions, and also her personal cell number so that I can check in first thing in the morning so that she can assess my peel. She insisted that I constantly send her updates and I plan to do just that - this is the kind of relationship that I searched to have in an aesthetician who really CARES about your skin. breanne rene: Wow! Jody was so warm and welcoming at the reception. He addressed me by name, offered me a beverage, and chatted for a few minutes before my appointment started. This was first time getting waxed after 4 years. Amber was confident and quick with the hair removal process. She made sure I was doing okay, checking in with me after every strip. Of course it hurt, but Amber took breaks when needed and listened to my needs (especially if the wax was too hot). The vajacial side of the service was amazing! I loved the mask afterward, it really helped relieve the area. I highly recommend Amber for this service. I promise you won’t regret it!

Tiffany Brown: This is based on a Groupon I bought and their lack of responsiveness. I really wanted to start getting regular facials. A quick Google search for black aestheticians led me here. I unexpectedly saw a Groupon a few months after my search and purchased it. Per the instructions, you can’t book on the website if you’re using a Groupon. I called twice and left a voicemail in addition to emailing as the voicemail instructed. I never received a response either by telephone or email. That was 12/6/22. Eventually I had to contact Groupon for a refund. I was really disappointed because I had high hopes for this place but now I can’t justify going for full price if you can’t even respond to customers or pick up the phone. This type of thing is why black owned businesses get a bad reputation. But I’ll start my search again and try elsewhere.
