Donna Famularo: I heard about Reupholstery Charlotte from a relative who lives there. I live in Kentucky and reached out to them about having my back porch cushions reupholstered. Both Mac and Pat were very helpful in texting photos of fabric, taking dimensions on the phone and giving me much-needed information about the process. I decided to use them, so I loaded up my SUV with 20 cushions and drove them down. Their amazing crew not only reupholstered, but completely re-made each of the cushions, making them from higher quality materials, and made throw pillows from a lovely fabric I chose while there. This was my first time reupholstering anything and I needed three chairs done, one of which was my late grandmother’s and very special to me. I was a wishy-washy, high-maintenance client (third thrimester of my pregnancy and indecisive on every level) and Mac was sweet to continue accommodating my back and forth decisions on fabric! Their turnaround was extremely fast and while I’m guessing you could get a better price somewhere outside of Charlotte, the convenience, service, professionalism and care was absolutely worth any price difference. The delivery was seamless, Pat was an absolute angel (went FAR above and beyond accommodating a specific cushion request), and the chairs look perfect. Highly recommend!

Debra Sullivan (Abracadebra): Edited 5 years later: We have changed our minds about the expensive sleeper sofa purchased from The Club Furniture website. The seating area depth is very shallow and hard along with the leather feeling slippery. The bed is the worst night's sleep even though we upgraded the mattress. Guests hate this sleeper sofa even after adding 3 thick mattress pads! I wish we had purchased from American Leather for their beauty and sleeper comfort.The Club Furniture website was very easy to navigate and the follow-up communication from the company was excellent. The leather sleeper sofa arrived within the stated time frame and we are happy with the quality and workmanship of the piece. I had some issues with the delivery guys, however, in that they had a little trouble getting into the intended room so they wanted me to change my room plans in my newly constructed home! Either it was going into the intended room or it was being returned, and of course, they managed to get it in without damage to the furniture or my new walls! Although we have not used it so far, we are very happy with our choice.

I would love nothing more than to offer a review on the ottoman I ordered right after Christmas. Unfortunately, around 10 weeks later, I still don't have it. Getting updates on the status of my order has been painful. Any communication has been at my request. A couple of weeks ago I was told that the manufacturing process takes 7-9 weeks. Great info that would have been nice to know before I ordered. I called again earlier this week and called back today when I hadn't gotten a response. I was told that they too are frustrated that they haven't received a reply from the manufacturer (I thought they were the manufacturer). This time I was told that the manufacturing process takes 10-12 weeks and that I can expect shipping within the next 3 WEEKS. That will put is at right at three months. Again, it would have been nice to know that before ordering. I definitely would have made a different choice. I'm starting to wonder if I will ever see this mythical ottoman. If/when I do, I'll be glad to update this review.
MATTHEW: Ordered chairs 10 weeks ago. Supposed to be delivered within 8 weeks. They now say they don't even have the leather we ordered and when they do they will send a sample for approval.If you do order it may be many months before you get your product.
nick cavaliere: I bought a sofa and chair and a half from Club Furniture. I specifically selected a tight back leather sofa style since I hate sofas that look sloppy with loose, messy pillows. Little did I know the seat cushions are loose and always moving around- even more so since it’s leather. They don’t even have Velcro to keep them in place. It’s incredibly annoying since I’ve never seen a leather sofa constructed this way. Other than that, I’m happy with the furniture, but this is a huge detraction for me since the sofa always looks messy.

We purchased a slip-covered sofa on clearance and they sent a fabric swatch prior to charging our card so we could be sure of the color. Delivery was on-time and it was brought into our house and placed where we wanted it. Just excellent all around. The sofa is perfect for us. The seat cushions are nice and firm, making it easier to get up from the sofa. The cotton twill is great since we have a small dog that gets up on the sofa. Can't say enough good things about this company, its service and product. When we need additional accent chairs, Club Furniture will certainly be a company we look at!

After calling them every month and being told the same thing (COVID delays, small company, etc.) they finally had the chair ready to deliver once I threatened to cancel my order. The chair supposedly shipped in July 2021 with a delivery date three weeks later, but now I'm being told it won't be delivered until the end of September 2021. Almost a year later and still no chair. I would advise anyone looking into this company to look elsewhere.

Additionally, when the time period for delivery approached, I contacted Club Furniture to get specific times as I had a lot of arrangements to make, removing old couch, being in and out of town, etc. The owner of the company responded, and communicated with me multiple times. Seara Liles: I paid off my order from them at the beginning of the year and it took forever for them to send me my furniture. They stated it was because of the employer that was handling my order who is no longer with them fault . And a new employer took over my order. Back in may after calling four weeks or more at a time they finally shipped me my order. I was still missing a dresser, mirror and two glass end dressers for my bedroom. He stated to me that I would have them soon and that he apologized he thought the end dressers would be on the truck with the rest of my delivery . And that I would have to wait for my dresser another week or two. It is now July 7th . I have not received my the rest of my furniture . No one answers the phone at the store . He gave me his personal call phone number , he doesn’t answer half the time nor respond to my messages. He Guaranteed that I would have my furniture by June 16th. After calling for some time he tried to offer me a dresser that was cracked and chipped at the top because he didn’t have the one I wanted and could not find it. Every time I talk to him all he says is that he is sorry with a nonchalant attitude and I have been beyond patient . It seems as though they are not even trying to give me my refund. It’s an excuse every time I talk to them. Just like it was when I was trying to receive my order. I am utterly Disgusted with the costumer service here . I have been beyond patient . I have been waiting on my refund for a week and still have not received and they are still giving me the run around.

E C: By the time I found clubfurniture.com I had been searching for a set of comfortable, quality leather chairs for about 8 months. I had ordered 2 sets of chairs from other vendors and sent them back prior to this order (mostly due to poor quality leather or cushions). After unsuccessfully shopping for leather chairs at about 15 stores around the Dallas/Fort Worth area, I came home to OKC somewhat dejected.Ultimately, I was looking for a top grain leather chair made with soft, quality, handsome brown leather. I didn't want the leather to feel waxy, or like it was that cheap layered leather. I was also looking for those chairs that when you sit in them, you can sink into and not want to get out of. I was willing to pay about $2k a chair or so for a total of $4k for a pair. I mean, at the end of the day I was really hoping that they would be chairs that'd both last a while and that my wife and I or our guests would enjoy sitting in.When I found clubfurniture.com my wife actually picked out the chair style. For me, all the boxes were checked on what I was looking for but I was still somewhat apprehensive because.. well, this is a somewhat expensive purchase to make sight unseen and without knowing how comfortable their furniture was. But we took a chance because we were getting tired of looking and it seemed to be what we were looking for. The leather quality was fantastic, they actually sent me a set of all the leather options in little swaths in the mail prior to the order being finalized. Good thing that they did, the leather I thought I liked actually didn't make my top 5 once I saw the samples. Also, this furniture Made in America (North Carolina), which I love. The cushions are hand tied spring cushions that I could also add a down wrap on to make it more plush (I did). Also, the frame wood is kiln dried so I felt good about its durability. But just in case.. they had a return policy that would have allowed me to return them both for a full refund (I just had to pay to ship them back), even though they were custom chairs?! I actually told the salesman that if the chairs weren't comfortable I'd willingly send back my 3rd set of chairs. He assured me that more than 90% of chairs never come back and that he was confident that I'd be satisfied.Suffice to say, I knew upon seeing them that they were exactly what I had been looking for! Not only were they gorgeous, but the leather is gorgeous, soft and is what you would hope for at this price point. Most importantly, I sat in them and didn't get up for an hour or so.. they are fantastic! I've actually had multiple guests come by since receiving them and they are the preferred seating in my house now. I would not be surprised if a few of my buddies order from clubfurniture.com in the future.Also, I'd be remiss to not mention that we had one minor issue. On the cushion of one of the chairs some of the stitching had come loose in a 1 inch spot on a seam. I contacted clubfurniture.com and they decided that they would send me 2 brand new leather covers for the seat cushions and that they were already in the mail. WONDERFUL customer service!All of that to say, if you are in the market for furniture, especially higher end, top quality furniture.. consider these guys as a very valid option. Abbie Deal: We ordered a custom Faith sectional with Crypton fabric at the start of COVID shut down and have had it for about 6 months now and we LOVE OUR COUCH! It was well worth the wait for a custom piece of furniture, plus the added time for COVID. This is the most expensive piece of furniture I've ever bought, but it is the perfect size for two tall, large people, and the splurge on the performance fabric was well worth it with two pets and two messy people. I also love that every cushion can be flipped and, if needed, cushion covers can be removed. Additionally, the entire process is very straight forward. The swatches came quickly and were accurate. The only frustrating part was dealing with the inconsistent pop up ads on the websites about different discounts. But that's worth dealing with for the overall experience and the end product. I've since recommended this company and our chosen couch style to several people!

Dr. KatySue Tillman: Absolutely horrible! I purchased a lovesac sactional years ago. Unfortunately, the old sides are too large to fit the new covers. I now have NINE unusable couch sides. Lovesac has a LIFETIME guarantee, and they have refused to fix the problem. Please do not invest $10,000+ in a couch that will simply end up in the trash. The couch was comfortable, but the warranty is useless.

We decided to pull the plug and buy the couch that day instead of waiting a bit, simply off of the experience and staff at the store. SUPER EXCITED to receive it, delivery was scheduled 4 days after purchasing and arrived promptly.We ordered 6 sides and 5 seats in Venetian Taupe. I am 100% satisfied and happy we bit the bullet and ordered the couch. It's already nap time approved for the whole family.

Cowbridge Furniture: what do users think?
Phillip: I've waited about a year to post this review because the Hemingway chair is an expensive piece of furniture.I can say now that it has been worth every penny, it is the best furniture investment I've made. I sit in this chair more often than my very comfortable couch. As you can see from the picture Maximus enjoys it too.I love to read, and looked all over Charlotte for the perfect reading chair. From West Elm to Pottery Barn to Ethan Allen to Mansion District to Slate, etc. This chair was the best I found.They are made to order, and Scott provided excellent service throughout the process.If you're looking for very well made, unique and practical furniture for your home, Cowbridge should be on your short list of places to check out. They have all manner of pieces for your home there, and most of them distinguish themselves. Check it out!

If anyone asks me for a furniture store recommendation (both for purchase or repair), I never hesitate to say Cowbridge first every time!

I wasn’t sure what to expect, but was greeted by the friendliest guy, who explained what they do and then let me look around. I didn’t plan on purchasing a chair at all, but saw a chair and footrest that was unique and we talked about the price. I was given an AMAZING deal and took it home. The best and most refreshing part of the whole experience was not being pressured into buying anything I wasn’t interested in. I highly recommend stopping in to see if Cowbridge has something on their floor you might like and if you can’t find anything, they can reupholster or build anything you want. Santas Little Helper: We purchased a one of kind red Velvet couch designed and made by the owners Scott and Lisa. It not only looks amazing but is a quality build at a very reasonable price. Scott and Lisa have a creative eye for both design and color. Great pieces in the show room and they can also custom build to the customers needs, HIGHLY recommend a visit to Cowbridge furniture.
Darlene Jones: Scott, the owner of Cowbridge, is one of a kind. He makes sure that the customer is taken care of and satisfied with their purchase. He has a great eye for the discerning shopper. If you want to find that perfect addition to your home that makes a statement, go to Cowbridge and talk to Scott. I bet if he doesn’t have it he will find it.

Jerry Walker: Very expensive, but they typically have unique items I have not seen anywhere else. My wife absolutely loves it here. Staff is pretty nice too.
Confidential Email: I just want to say how wonderful your service is. It is becoming more rare that one is consistently treated with friendly service and a simple hello at a store. It is always so pleasant to walk into your store. I am always asked if I can find something within one to two minutes of walking in your store. I have bought many large and small items at your store and I’m sure I spend more money because you help me but I appreciate the wonderful service as well.I’ve only had one bad experience there but it had to do with the delivery people and when I called, your staff handled this with such kindness and commitment to correct the problem. Thank you for being kind and always listening. I have many more things picked out to buy soon.
Mery M: This Pottery Barn store carries beautiful high end furniture and housewares. I went shopping with my mom and when we entered the store nobody greeted us or ask if we need any help. I was surprised because there wasn’t that many people shopping. Their prices are expensive comparing to other stores. I found some items that I like but they need to improve their customer service skills. It was our first time visiting this store.

Chris Springer: Ordered a couch and chair in January. The couch was delivered in April; the chair never showed up. Shippers said it wasn't on the truck. PB issued a dock search, still no chair. Customer service has thrice issued new delivery dates, confirmed the dates the week of delivery. Twice they cancelled the order/delivery the day before. Today, they just never called to confirm they were en route. No chair. Talked to PB customer service yet again. They've now submitted a new order. I would cancel the order at this point, except we have a matching sofa. PB has not once apologized, offerred any sort of compensation - nothing. It's literally just business as usual for them.Update: The chair arrived today. It is the twin sleeper chair. The entire sleeper frame and cushion were missing from the inside of the chair. It’s like they stopped building it halfway through and shipped it out. Delivery guy said he had never seen anything like it.
Elizabeth Crawford: The customer service at Pottery barn is the worst! Damaged vanity item delivered and replacement took over TWO months for a replacement. In the meantime, we were able to find the exact same item off another website. Do your research before placing orders at pottery barn! Spoke to FOUR different service reps. No compensation offered or anything to keep me as a customer with them. Will be shopping elsewhere. It's a shame.

Josh Glasco: Wish I could get PB zero stars. Ordered a sectional and ottoman in October 2022 and was charged the full amount January 2023 and was given a delivery date of March, which was eventually delayed to April. FINALLY when the furniture was delivered, 1/3 of the sectional and the ottoman WERE THE WRONG COLOR! Pottery Barn's only solution is to re-order the incorrect pieces and deliver them in LATE AUGUST!!!! Their customer service is horrendous, not a single person has an alternative solution, is offering anything in the way of compensation. Only purchase products from Pottery Barn if want to pay full price and only receive half of your order every 6 months. Any and all complaints are met with a stonewall of customer service agents that are either incapable or unwilling to resolve your issues.
Gary Rzonca: Another terrible experience. We pay more for Pottery Barn and we should expect more. After waiting months for an item, the delivery team showed up and hadn't loaded it. PB did not call us for weeks afterward to re-schedule. Finally, we called them and spoke to Jessica in customer service. She was terrible, and could care less we took the day off and the item wasn't delivered. She promised to follow up on it within 3 days. Not trusting her, I took all the information. 3 days later, no update. I called again, and was told the item would now be delivered in another 4-6 weeks! Again, no effort to expedite, and when I asked, they said no. Then, I had to ask for some compensation - which they should have proactively offered. The response was they would credit the freight I paid, but I would have to call them to remind them to do it, AFTER the shipment. PB has gone downhill completely, except their price. Done with these guys, after spending tens of thousands with them furnishing our new home. They should have just given me the item for free. Be advised.
Dawn Ponico: The WORST experience EVER! My husband ordered a desk for me for Christmas. Shipping date keeps getting pushed back. PB says it’s bc a top piece of the bookcase is missing but they can deliver everything else. Their customer service explains that I will just have the desk and cabinets for now. March 22nd is delivery day. What they failed to mention is that desk can’t be assembled without bookcase. I now have this mess in my office!
Brady Kummer: Upon reviewing previews comments about this location, I feel these reviews should be about the location NOT about the company itself. There are logistic issues that have come up due to the pandemic and things are getting better.The team at the South Park Pottery Barn are truly amazing and hardworking. Not only do they go above and beyond for all orders placed, they are happy to help when there are hiccups with orders that have been placed.I would 10/10 recommend anyone who is wanting an exceptional experience to shop with this team of designers.

James Carlu: I do like their furniture but it shouldn’t take 17 weeks to build a recliner. There’s some sort of operational/logistical failure here. For comparison (it’s the only personal comparison I have), it took Ford 12 weeks to build and ship a customized Explorer ST to me. How can a chair take so long? Be better.
Stacy Lyn: Customer service is always great. I always try to place my orders through the store so the store gets credit and we can keep them local. Hollis is fabulous!
Alli Wakefield: Do not order any furniture from here! I ordered in stock dining chairs with a two week delivery. 5 months later, I have received 2 chairs, and the rest of them are at separate locations with no end in site. I will not be purchasing furniture from Pottery Barn again.

Praveen Gupta: Hello Pottery Barn Team, I ordered Livingston 7-Piece Entertainment Center with Drawers, Seadrift, 105"#846051 on Aug 26 2022 and after waiting for 5 months finally it was supposed to be delivered on 25th Jan but as soon I got an email that it’s e route, I got a call from driver that his truck breakdown and he will be not able to deliver. We have called Furniture Scheduling number since today morning atleast 4-5 times but no single agent is able to give any updates. They just mention they are not sure, what kind of agency is that if they don’t have answers who will have ? Also the status of my order is all changed now to delivery not scheduled . I am exhausted and frustrated with the experience with your call center. After buying a $6k item this is the treatment we are getting. Kindly look into the matter.
Jessica Reed: Pottery Barn you disappoint! We’ve purchased many beautiful pieces over the years, but after my recent, complete primary bedroom makeover, I will NEVER purchase a single thing from them! We ordered side tables which arrived first with no issues. The dresser was scheduled to deliver, I rearranged my entire day to have no dresser by 10 PM! Not a word from pottery barn! THEN I had to wait another month for the actual thing to arrive b/c they didn’t actually have it in the first place! Lastly, the bed… it was scheduled to arrive and did, sort of… the delivery team said the king size bed was in this very small box (note this was supposed to be assembled by their “white glove” delivery “experts”. To my total shock it was only the side boards that were delivered! When I reached out to pottery barn it proceeded with having to argue that they did not deliver the entire bed. Fast forward to 1 month later, they found out headboard & footboard! They came just this week to deliver (3 months after it was ordered and a month after they were supposed to deliver it) and guess what?! They brought me another set of side boards! This was followed by being hung up on by their horrible customer service and a missing headboard and footboard! So here we sit $2000 gone, no bed and absolute no help from Pottery Barn! I strongly caution anyone from purchasing from this company! It’s not worth the hassle and there are many competitor companies who do deliver!

MS Ms: I ordered 10ft rug on Aug 2022 with estimated delivery in Sep, It’s 4 months now I am still waiting on the Rug that I ordered . Unfortunately while waiting for the order I have lost many opportunities of buying with other vendors who had the item in stock . They should only take orders that can be fulfilled . Having to make customers wait for months together is a very bad idea .
