Amy Johnson: If you are not dressed up like you have money or not in their social scene don’t waste your time. I bought a Victoria Beckham dress there a while ago for an event and had no help what so ever. It was the last place I wanted to go because of what I heard, but I had run out of options. Nothing worse then sales people judging you by the way you are dressed.
Barbara McKay: Words are not adequate to describe this amazing store. You must visit and you will become a fan for life! Designers and stylists around the world shop for themselves and for their clients because no other store compares to their buyers' ability to choose the best pieces from the best designers each season, many exclusive to Capitol. The staff is simply wonderful, making you feel comfortable in this gorgeous store while styling the perfect outfit head to toe, accessories and all, or finding one special piece to go with things you have in your closet. I can count on compliments on everything I buy from Capitol. And they have FANTASTIC sales! Happy place!!

martha quinn: Really did not want to give one star - security guard was the friendliest - I drove 2 hours to look at evening gowns - would not let me look, would only "bring out" a few things - at my age, the last thing I want is 2 millenials telling me what I "should" wear. Unprofessional, rude, arrogant!

L Robinson: Since the pandemic, Anthropologie has offered curbside service to meet customers parked right outside of their building. I completed the "I've arrived" form as requested twice while I patiently waited in the assigned curbside parking space. On at least (2) occassions have not been greeted at the curb. I've walk into the store to and find several sale associates completing their personal conversations with folded arms. If you don't believe, I managed to snap a photo while I waited for someone to greet me. The store wasn't busy so I can't imagine what could be more important than revenue? When I reached my car, I received an notification that my order was picked up. This only confirmed for me that the alert system used to notify sale associates of the arrival of customers at the curb works. I only ask that if you are no longer offering curbside service, please discontinue advertising the service as a convenience for customers.

Lu: The service attitude is the worst I’ve seen in any clothing store. Not only nobody greets you or help you, when you have a question, the worker just shows no interests whatever towards answering it. So rude and unprofessional. Having just pretty clothes won’t be enough in today’s competitive fashion industry. This was not the first time I was disappointed by Anthropology’s customer service. I won’t be shopping here, no more.

Shelby Howell: The products are great but if you have to return an item ordered online, you are screwed. Every time I return an item, I have to beg for a refund or store credit. It should not be this difficult, especially at the price customers pay for the clothing.

Tamara Lynn: I'm a big fan of Free People, but most likely will not be coming back here again and will just shop online moving forward. The employees were not very helpful, the store was not busy when I came in and no one welcomed or approached me. Paying premium prices for some regular clothes should at least be felt in customer service.
Nicole: Free People has the worst online customer service. I have tried to order the same dress 3 times, the first time my order was canceled by the fraud department, but the company could not give me a reason on why. The second time I purchased the same dress and it went through (size small), however this dress was too big. I tried to go back and order the same dress in a smaller size (size xs) and purchased express shipping to have it here on time for engagement pics, the fraud department canceled my order again. No one from the company contacted me, just sent a cancellation email. When I called customer service they still had no reason on why and would not honor my purchase or shipping. I am extremely disappointed in a company that charges $130 for a dress and does not stand behind what they advertise.

JOSEPHINE: My husband and I came to South End for lunch. I walked into Free People while he did his own thing. Some background, most of my closet is filled with Free People. I love that Bohemian look, Free spirit. I’m quite familiar that Anthropologie is a sister company etc.I feel as if there may be some ageism going on here. Can’t say for sure. The employees didn’t seem very interested in offering help. In fact they said a big hello to a young woman that came in right behind me. I know South End is a younger crowd but please! I did notice a few more Google reviews that complained about the lack of good customer service. I hope they read these reviews and make some positive changes.
Prime Auto: Very overpriced
Madison Hendrix: Had the worst customer experience of my life here. I wandered around the store and was the only person shopping. Multiple times employees walked past me and never said a word, even as I let myself into a fitting room. On my way out someone said have a good night (the first interaction of the entire night) and before I could even say anything the girl yells back “NO? OK” wee Coming from someone who used to work in retail I will never be back.
