Kevin Sullivan: I called in a panic today because I needed to find shoes for a wedding last-minute. Helena (i will have to double-check my receipt for her name's spelling) is knowledgeable, cool, and calm. I asked what she had for men's dress shoes in my size and desired color. She pulled two great options, sent me pics, and I was on my way there after like a 5 minute phone call. Helena helped me find the shop, was ready and waiting with the shoes, and even suggested a belt to go with them. Exceptional.I feel that I have received service that was above and beyond what I expected and am grateful for it. I hate going uptown but the experience was certainly worth it.

Kenneth G Taylor: I went to the store off of Providence Rd and talked with Trish the store manager to help me look for a suit and to hem some pants I had bought at another place. I'm a fairly large man and have had trouble at other stores with clothes that fit. Trish helped me pick out a very nice navy blazer and some grey pants to go with it. She also help me pick out dress shirts. With the promos going on at the store, i now have clothes to wear to special occasions at awesome prices. I saved a bunch of money thanks to Trish and Jos A Bank!
Pramit Patel: After having worst experience at the promenade store and no good response the bread I went to north tryon store as I had no choice to exchange my shirt but this was a total new experience. This sales persons are best in the world JOCOB MERRILL & YAJAIRA VAZAUEZ they didn’t had my size in the store so they ordered online and delivered to my house and gave me my extra charged money back. Billy Shugart: I came to Jos. A Bank to get a shirt because i was in a rush. They had a sale there 2 shirts for $85. I was pretty excited because I was trying to catch a flight. I picked out a single shirt that they said was on discount for $29 and not included so I purchased that one as well. I raced to the airport and flew to a wedding in Pennsylvania. We went to iron the shirt and it was shredded on the chest region. I tried to return the shirt and I was told the shirt was damaged after purchase not only once but twice. It even had the tag on it. I have purchased a lot of clothes through them and I will not recommend them to anyone

Troy the store manager was awesome in helping my bride and me choose my clothing. Usually I would go to Belk, JC Penny and Kohl’s. Being fitted is well worth the money compared to headaches dealing with sales people not knowledgeable with clothing. This has made my choice of one stop shopping. Completely awesome no pressure in shopping.
Tom Lantagne: Went in to ask about how long warranty is because I’ve had 4 shirts in the past year that have ripped at the elbow. The latest one I’ve had for about 6 months. He proceeded to tell me it’s because I bend my arms and it causes “stress points”. Wow, a person who bends their arms, that’s a new one. Anyway he said 3 months and the problem is fairly common. I said that’s fine (as he started to walk away from me while I was talking) but if this is fairly common he might want to tell the corporate office so they can address this. His reply was that I must be wearing it too much and they have no way of knowing how often it’s worn. For the price they charge I would expect 1) better service and 2) better quality. At least have the conversation and fake you are interested rather than start to walk away because someone new just walked in and you’d rather be selling for the commission.
Joel Benevides: Returning a shirt and was given nothing but attitude. I have shopped at JAB for years and never had an issue when returning items. He ultimately took the return but lectured me about it. No worries, I will just shop at Brooks Brothers and Johnston and Murphy moving forward. They never give me a problem.

Sure, you'd expect the manager of a branch to be solid, but Troy went above and beyond, cognizant of speed, budget, and needs without pushing things on me I wasn't ready/able to buy. He was kind forthright, friendly, and supremely knowledgeable. I will, without doubt, be a repeat customer!

Anthony Swain: Great visit! Both gentleman were very welcoming and were happy to assist me. My best friend had the groomsmen get fitted for suits at Mens Wearhouse. They made everything a breeze.John sized me for everything and he was spot on. A+ customer service.
Sam Rinderman: Horrible experience renting a Tux from this Men's Wearhouse. The associate was rude throughout the entire process, and when my flight from the event was delayed (no MW in area I attended wedding), I called the store to see if they could waive the late fee if I could bring it in the next day. The person I spoke with from airport said they wouldn't charge me, and then the associate I had been working with would not acknowledge that almost every flight into CLT was delayed heavily the night before when the tux was due back, and I was still charged a late fee. Super annoying. Never going back here. Hope she gets canned.

My husband is very frugal and hates to spend money, especially on items he already has. However, the suit he planned on wearing is very dated and only needs to be adorned for a decade party. As soon as we walked through the door of Men’s Warehouse, we were greeted with such incredible hospitality. Tiffany was amazing! She styled him, measured him, and shoed him before he could even realize a money transaction had been made. My husband looks TERRIFIC, and I was proud to stand next to him. Some of the associates being openly rude and aggressive to customers.Came in earlier this year to get fitted for a wedding with my groomsman. The associate we worked with seemed to be knowledgeable but kept steering us towards rentals for some reason (I wanted to be fitted for a full suit). I obliged since the associate positioned himself as the "expert" while disregarding any opinions that I had on a suit I wanted to wear. Boy was I wrong.Came back a couple months later to pick up the suits and only 2 out of the 3 suits were ready. Immediately the person I worked with was completely rude, saying my pick up day isn't until a week later and questioned why I was even there. In my confusion I stated that I received an email to pick up the suits so it was odd to me that only 2/3 suits were ready. This particular associate continued to talk down to me saying the last suit isn't ready and that I need to wait a week to pick up, repeating himself 3 times to make a point after I was already done talking to this person.Finally tried on my suit, and the whole thing seemed off. I checked the measurements on the pieces and they were indeed the size they recorded, but everything fit so loose and baggy. Of course while I was trying my suit on the same associate that gave me issues is berating another customer telling them that the shirt sizes are "how they are" and they can't do anything about it.Save yourself the trouble of working with people at this location and the surprise of having a really poor fitting suit months later.

Jim W: I stopped to buy a suit after trying a few other places and being unimpressed. Henry was a great help in guiding me through my purchase to the right suit for me. We tired several styles before settling on one, and then he marked the suit up for cuffing the pants and adjusting the sleeve length and one other minor alteration and I was on my way. Great place to buy a suit, I highly recommend them.
Alex: Had a good experience here once before so I returned to buy a suit for my wedding. My fiance said we were looking for a blue suit and solid tie. The man who helped me was set on selling me something less "boring" and said "you look like you're going to the Republican national convention", among other snide remarks. His attitude towards us wasnt great and i didnt appreciate him disregarding our wishes. I don't want to dress like I'm going to my high school prom at my wedding. Not my taste so we will go elsewhere

TLDR; it wasn't above PRL, so I decided to leave and got rude remarks from Bruce himself.Full Context:Diana, who was very helpful, showed me their catalogue and recommended me shirts to purchase. For a price point above $125, I would hope the quality would be slightly less comparable to a shirt from Eton, similarly for a price point above $200, I would assume the shirt to be slightly less comparable to Canali or Zegna. The shirts supplied by Bruce Julian are from my estimations 20-30% more expensive than purchasing a similar item from well-known brand; however, you do get the convenience and experience by shopping here.After Diana had spent so much time, I was on the fence on purchasing a shirt from Bruce Julian or if I should spend a little more cash on something a little better, this was for my childhood best friend of 25+ years wedding, and it was a very important event for myself.We were finally able to pick a shirt from the catalogue, but it appeared that the store did not have the shirt stocked in my size. Diana notified Bruce and Bruce picked up the phone, called his distributor, and purchased 2 shirts from the distributor, so that they could sell me one and keep another one in the store.I was being charged around $110-120 for a shirt that realistically for the material and amount of threading should cost $40-80 (Charles Tyrwhitt, Bonobos, Polo Ralph Lauren)It didn't take too long for me to realize that the product I was about to purchase was going to be a lesser quality product, and shortly after I had mentioned to Diana, that I was looking for a product that was comparable to Eton, she understood and asked me my expected price range, which I did quote $200-$300 for a dress shirt, and then proceeded to politely comment that I would want to revert my attention to their higher quality products in the catalogue; although, the problem was that the higher quality products were textured, and that was not the aesthetic that I was looking for. Just wanted a plain white shirt (I did buy one from Luigi Borrelli, highly recommend)It felt like this was one of those scenarios where we almost made it work, but the buyer (me) changed their mind last-minute before any transactions.Bruce was totally enraged. I have never seen a grown-man throw a tantrum, but it was actually crazy and inspiring if I ever want to throw my own. This guy literally said, "Are you kidding me?" "I did all that work for nothing?" "You mean I'm going to have to pick up the phone and call xxx back to cancel those shirts?"I do understand the frustrations and the problems that I produced as the shopper. I was not aware that if I changed my mind about the purchase, that this attitude would have been portrayed. I felt so bad for Diana because you could tell that she felt embarrassed that Bruce was acting in this manner, but after reading other Low Bruce Julian reviews, it's so funny that this is the way this guy just acts. Like seriously? You picked up a phone to call a distributor and order a sized shirt that took less than 3-5 minutes.Normally when you come to a Clothier you expect quality. You get mid tier quality at most at a 20-30% marked up price here at Bruce Julian. I didn't leave a poor review for the price, it was the disrespect from Bruce. Diana deserves better including a better man.

Jimmy Williams: I rarely write a bad review, but this was a horrible experience and I don’t want others to have the same experience. You would expect the suit to be in-store at opening on the listed pick-up date (mine was not and the worker I asked said that it is never there at opening)… note: rentals are only available 2 days before events, so the time matters a lot, especially when traveling for an event. They asked me to come back in to be fitted a second time (closer to the event) and when I showed up as they suggested, the worker told me it wasn’t necessary. They ordered a 3XL shirt for me, which was way too large (had to switch to an XL). This was for my brother’s wedding. I wouldn’t use Jos A. Bank for my own wedding after this experience.

Server Build: "Server Build" is my side business not a bot or random person. Anyway, extremely rude staff. I had called to see if I could get some measurements for an upcoming wedding. I was told over the phone to come in anytime. The woman I spoke with when I arrived could not seem more annoyed and mad for some reason. She insisted they don't just measure and I needed an order number. I asked multiple times if they just did measurements... I was previous customer, wasn't looking for anything free more than happy to pay. She got worse after she started shouting at me to "turn!" and "move your arms!" then standing an staring like I was unable to do such basic things. This was extremely unprofessional and unnecessary. I came in smiling and left confused. Irritated enough to sit down and actually write this. Please email me if you have other questions.
