SS Kang (Kangarang): I would give this express a zero star if I could. The store that was supposed to be open until 9:00pm on Friday evening was locked when I arrived at 7:00pm. No big deal if something happened and they were understaffed or something. What really got to me was the employee that taped this on the window in my face and basically gave me a “f” off attitude when I tried to ask a question. I wish she had a name tag so I could identify her. If Express corporate sees this review, it is August 19th, 2022 shortly after 7:00pm ET. Maybe you can see who was working and address this.

Kevin Sullivan: I called in a panic today because I needed to find shoes for a wedding last-minute. Helena (i will have to double-check my receipt for her name's spelling) is knowledgeable, cool, and calm. I asked what she had for men's dress shoes in my size and desired color. She pulled two great options, sent me pics, and I was on my way there after like a 5 minute phone call. Helena helped me find the shop, was ready and waiting with the shoes, and even suggested a belt to go with them. Exceptional.I feel that I have received service that was above and beyond what I expected and am grateful for it. I hate going uptown but the experience was certainly worth it.

Kenneth G Taylor: I went to the store off of Providence Rd and talked with Trish the store manager to help me look for a suit and to hem some pants I had bought at another place. I'm a fairly large man and have had trouble at other stores with clothes that fit. Trish helped me pick out a very nice navy blazer and some grey pants to go with it. She also help me pick out dress shirts. With the promos going on at the store, i now have clothes to wear to special occasions at awesome prices. I saved a bunch of money thanks to Trish and Jos A Bank!

This sales persons are best in the world JOCOB MERRILL & YAJAIRA VAZAUEZ they didn’t had my size in the store so they ordered online and delivered to my house and gave me my extra charged money back. I picked out a single shirt that they said was on discount for $29 and not included so I purchased that one as well. I raced to the airport and flew to a wedding in Pennsylvania. We went to iron the shirt and it was shredded on the chest region. I tried to return the shirt and I was told the shirt was damaged after purchase not only once but twice. It even had the tag on it. I have purchased a lot of clothes through them and I will not recommend them to anyone

Troy the store manager was awesome in helping my bride and me choose my clothing. Usually I would go to Belk, JC Penny and Kohl’s. Being fitted is well worth the money compared to headaches dealing with sales people not knowledgeable with clothing. This has made my choice of one stop shopping. Completely awesome no pressure in shopping.
Tom Lantagne: Went in to ask about how long warranty is because I’ve had 4 shirts in the past year that have ripped at the elbow. The latest one I’ve had for about 6 months. He proceeded to tell me it’s because I bend my arms and it causes “stress points”. Wow, a person who bends their arms, that’s a new one. Anyway he said 3 months and the problem is fairly common. I said that’s fine (as he started to walk away from me while I was talking) but if this is fairly common he might want to tell the corporate office so they can address this. His reply was that I must be wearing it too much and they have no way of knowing how often it’s worn. For the price they charge I would expect 1) better service and 2) better quality. At least have the conversation and fake you are interested rather than start to walk away because someone new just walked in and you’d rather be selling for the commission.
Joel Benevides: Returning a shirt and was given nothing but attitude. I have shopped at JAB for years and never had an issue when returning items. He ultimately took the return but lectured me about it. No worries, I will just shop at Brooks Brothers and Johnston and Murphy moving forward. They never give me a problem.

Sure, you'd expect the manager of a branch to be solid, but Troy went above and beyond, cognizant of speed, budget, and needs without pushing things on me I wasn't ready/able to buy. He was kind forthright, friendly, and supremely knowledgeable. I will, without doubt, be a repeat customer!

Sumner Corrigall III: This place should definitely get more then 5 stars. I work in a customer service driven business so i know the difference between good customer service and people just doing their job. The group of guys that work here gave me one of the best experiences i have ever had when shopping. Henry, Malcolm, Perry and Josh are the BEST! It all started when i bought my tux for my wedding back in February and there was some mix up with the linen suit later on down the road when my groomsman started to get sized for theirs. I went in there just to see what the deal was and they took care of it instantly. There was no black lash or anything. In a time of preparing for the wedding, having a problem with the tux’s was the last thing i had envisioned. But i have been going to this location for a while now and i knew i was in good hands! I 100% will recommend everyone should use this location and the gentlemen that work here need to be rewarded for their great work!!

Mel M: Worst experience everrrr. I am the bride and I went to the “fitting” with my fiancé. This was supposed to be a fun and exciting experience for the soon to be bride and groom. At first when entering the store we were greeted kindly but then for his appointment we were handed off to another associate. Travis’s body language and customer service were not present for us. He did not make eye contact, it was like he was avoiding it. He kept giving short and quick answers. He pointed to where the suits were at instead of walking with us to see it. He was not engaged in even trying to sell us anything. We felt so uncomfortable that we didn’t even want to buy from here anymore. My fiancé never even got any measurements or fitting done. He gave my fiancé a suit to try on and that was it. I thought maybe he was just having a bad day, but Travis ended up having other customers and was giving them wayyy better service. It honestly felt like a racial thing to me. We decided to leave the store and take our business else where and I’m so glad we did. We were able to get great deals on suits for all 7 groomsmen and the groom with amazing and exceptional customer service at NY B&G. We were in such better moods afterwards. I will not shop or even suggest Men’s Warehouse to anyone.

Erica Edwards: It's 2 days until Father's day. I walk in the store in North Lake, there are 4-5 employee inside the store and maybe 2 visible customers. As I enter an associate passes me I ask where would I find Big and Tall wear. He explains its all mixed in. As I walk around no one else attempts to assist or help direct me any further. I am a female shopping for my Grandfather. I have his sizes for suit, shirt, tie, shoes and everything. Mens sizes are NOTHING like women's! I searched found a couple pair of pants and was done. I inform the cashier I'm surprised they aren't more helpful this close to Father's day, he responds with a confused face " I spoke to you when you entered the store." Well that's great thank you for not ignoring me 100% (heavy sarcasm here). Anyway it's just annoying

Just be mindful that as soon as you walk in to scan the QR code on the display at the front so that you can actually be assisted, otherwise you'll be standing there looking and waiting on someone to assist you.

Walked into the store and the guy assisting me had a poor attitude, along with the female working with him. He did a poor job measuring and the tux was also sent to the wrong location in a different city where I requested it to go to. I was worried that the suit was going to have all the wrong measurements, and to no surprise, when I picked it up, the jacket, pants, and dress shirt were all wrong and had to be reordered overnight.
Inez: I came on here to share my and my husband’s horrible experience yesterday at this location, but after reading some of the reviews, it’s very clear, Men’s Warehouse in Northlake Charlotte does not care about changing their image of poor customer service, apathy, and laziness. Since no one asks if we need help, I ask a lady if they had a specific color with her nonchalant response she said no. And start pointing in a direction for me to go check myself. Finally a sales representative comes out the back and ask if he could help us and of course we said yes because the tuxedo we had ordered online was the wrong color for our wedding day February 11. But ten minutes later he comes back to informed us that they want him to help another customer that has an emergency and someone else can help us. Like we didn’t have and emergency. The best thing for us to do is spend our money elsewhere so we left the store.

He gave us endless options that led us to invest in more than we planned on spending but we're extremely satisfied with our purchase!

Julianna Moore: We came into this location 2 (!) weeks before our wedding in a panic because the custom suit we had ordered from another company didn't fit and that company was not working with us to find a solution in time.The folks here at Jos A Banks went above and beyond getting my fiance fitted in the perfect suit with accessories. They were patient and kind pulling a variety of styles and colors until we were sure we had just the right one.The timing of ordering the right size and getting it tailored went so smoothly. I wish we had just gone here in the first place!Thank you, thank you! We will definitely be back for our menswear needs.

We just ended up leaving the store after waiting without being acknowledged after about 10 minutes. We came to the location here in Charlotte and had a completely different experience! We were acknowledged right upon entering. Even under a quick timeline (and holiday weekend), we were provided excellent service and able to find the suit we needed along with tailoring services in time for our event. Thanks so much for the excellent service, insight, and attention to detail.

An employee named Jervario was very attentive and spent almost an hour assisting me with sizing and offered multiple options to ensure I was happy with my selection. I had to head back the next day for a quick exchange since the shirt had a tighter fit and was helped by two women who also provided excellent customer service.It was my first time shopping at Jos A. Bank, but I will definitely be back in a couple months to purchase a few things for work.I rate my experience 5/5 and would highly recommend this location.

John Cassese: One of the worst customer experiences I have ever had. I needed several items for a new job. Our salesperson was clueless on every level. He did not know the inventory and had no idea how to help me get what I needed. He left me in the dressing room after saying he would be back with more pants in my size. He never returned and I ended up finding the items for myself while he went off to wait on someone else. Horrible experience I will never return to that store again.
Mark Lawson: Renting tuxes for a wedding from this store was an absolute nightmare. Either they are completely incompetent or flat out liars. I reserved 5 black tuxes back in March. You would think this is a fairly standard order. My brother called me the next week when he went to get sized for his in Winston Salem, and that store said the tux was navy. I called the Colony Road store and asked them to confirm they were black tuxes. They said yes they are black. They told me my receipt says navy because "that's the style." Okay....Fast forward to a week ago, and people are going to pick up their tuxes. Sure enough they are all navy. I called Colony Road AGAIN, and told them what was going on and that they had told me months ago the tuxes would be black. They then went about rushing a replacement for all the navy tuxes to be switched to black. One of my groomsmen was coming from out of town and couldn't pick his tux up until the last minute, and what do you know, his navy tux was switched out FOR ANOTHER NAVY TUX. It couldn't be fixed in time for the wedding, so I had one guy in my wedding party with a navy tux and black vest.

jw 38: Always had good quality clothes from there. They're expensive obviously, so I only go when there's a sale and yesterday I got 3 pairs of shorts for a TOTAL of $15. Normally $50/ea. Just catch a sale day. This location is in a nice area of town and the shopping center around it is well maintained. Got these shoes for $49.99 and they're usually $165. (Ignore my texts with the picture. Lol)
