Jessica Goldfarb: Had an attendant open the dressing room I was in while I was naked to put her arm in and show me something. Then laughed with her coworker when it was obvious I was upset about this.I feel like this is common knowledge, but do not, under any circumstances, open a dressing room that someone is using. I don’t care if its just your arm coming in, if I can see the store outside you’ve opened it too far and exposed me.It’s not cute.
Lisa Malone: Had trip coming up and had heard about this place and how they help you with suits. Haven’t bought a pretty suit in a while…only grandma suits.😊. Kristen was so helpful and very, very patient with me. Thank you again Kristen and I was very pleased with this store and staff.
Caroline: I had the best retail experience here that I have had in many years. It seems like gone are the days when sales associates help you pick things out and I mostly just wander through stores and do my best trying things on. However, Cat shocked and impressed me with her willingness to help me find the right things. Bathing suit shopping is extremely daunting for me but she made me feel welcome and at ease. I immediately got the sense I could trust her and said yes when she asked if she could pick some things out based on what she thought would look good on me even though I am very particular. She picked something I would never pick for myself and it looked great. I don't typically leave reviews but this type of skill should be celebrated. To be knowledgeable and seem passionate about what you are selling plus make strangers comfortable in your space showing you their bodies is not an easy task. People make all the difference on a sales force and Cat is exceptional. Jamie also helped me with my purchases and was fantastic. Please pass this information on to your corporate office.
Denise Kapp: I am so thankful for this store and the women who work here. I drive from Columbia just to buy bathing suits. The staff is always so knowledgeable about swim suit styles and body types. I went in today feeling down that I had “outgrown” my other suits and walked out feeling like a million dollars!! Thank you!!!

Brandi Johnson: Visited the Charlotte location at Southpark. Staff was very helpful and went out of their way to find suits that worked best for me. Very friendly and efficient. Prices are higher end but the suits are worth it. $75-90 per piece for the bikinis I bought. Will revisit every season.

Ashley was super helpful and picked out so many cute items for me to try, it’s always hard to find things that fit me properly and she did just that. Levi Adgate: I’m not one to write reviews but Lauren was the absolute best from top to bottom. I ordered the wrong fit online and took them to the outlet store and had a great experience. Lauren was at the door when I walked in took my items while I looked for a replacement and when I didn’t find the size I needed she went above and beyond to get what I wanted ordered all while having a line and helping other associates. She kept her composure and was super cool! Thank you, Lauren! You rock!

Customer service was horrible & they did absolutely nothing basically told me it’s nothing they can do. Don’t order from them spend your money elsewhere!!!!!!! Donna Mizok: If I can give them a zero I would. Do not purchase from this place your return will take over a month to get credit back to your account. And if you pay with after pay and try to return an item at the store they will not except it. Even know that this company has been paid by after pay they make you go directly to them to return the item. And you will be waiting over a month to get your money back if you’re lucky.I sent my item November 19 and they still don’t have my return!

Karol: I like the visual communication of Bictoria Secrets. I'm only going to talk about soap creams and perfumes, which is what I usually buy. Be prepared to spend more than necessary because they always have some crazy promotions that nobody understands but actually force you to buy more, for example one product is worth $27 two for $34.90 something like that. This last time I went to the store I just wanted a moisturizing body cream and nothing else, I ended up leaving with four products. Congratulations to the brand's sales strategy team, they managed to make me buy more than I needed.

My husband went in to get a price adjustment (everyone and she spoke so strong with him and firm, I then called cause there was some confusion and I spoke to an associate before her and asked if I need tags for a price adjustment and that associate did not know the answer and instead of telling me she was getting we manager (Savannah) she just hands her the phone and she asked what I need, that frustrated me and having to explain it once again cause I was under the impression I was still speaking to the originally person who answered the phone, after explain I had a frustrated tone, she then explained what I need in a nasty way, and I told her to not be snarky, she then explained to me I was being snarky which was out of line on her end.If she is a manager can you imagine who else she is talking to like that. That’s no manager.

Steven: The manager is a colorist. I walked in me being (AA) she was already startled & appalled for me to be in such a place. She then followed me and my boyfriend who is also (AA) & Mind you the store is filled with customers that don't look like us. She proceeds to ask the only (AA) in there "Do you need help with something?" I politely said "no" & then she proceeds to stand there less then 5 feet away watching until I finally picked something. If I didn't have a gift card they would have never gotten my money. I don't play fire with fire but she was surely about to get burned. Keep it cute, Karen!

Amber Pitts: We came this past Thursday, Veterans Day 11/11. I checked out the store but didn't see anything I wanted until I stumbled upon the clearance racks. I saw several different leggings options (exactly what I was looking for). I saw a nice pink color (mauve-ish, and sorted through to find my size. There were plenty to choose from on the clearance racks. On top of the racks, they show the original price, along with the new price of 60% discounted. I was super happy to find a pair on clearance, in my size, in a color I liked! I took them up to the register to check out. The associate rings them up, and it only took $11 off, bringing them to ~$30 some dollars. On clearance, they should have been closer to $19-$20. I asked if that was the discounted price and she let me know it was. I asked her why the 60% didn't come off and she told me they were full price, not clearance. I then let her know that I got them off the clearance rack, and that there were quite a few of the same ones on that rack. She then replied that she could give me 40% off but sternly said 60% off was not an option. I told her I wasn't going to purchase since they were on the clearance racks but would not be 60% off. I left the store empty handed. Be aware that they have options on the clearance rack, MORE than one of an item, but they will not guarantee that they are on sale. I assume the store is very disorganized since an item with plenty of options on a certain rack, isn't in fact supposed to be there and the associates will not honor the placement of items they have put on their racks. Poor service, not-so friendly associates, disorganized store = no going back. Warning for everyone else who likes to shop here.

Dava Schevlin: Called ahead to make sure they had my item, the other 3 stores didn't! and had them put it on hold. When I got there I was told I had to stand outside with the 25 people waiting to shop, just to pick up my item!!! Sad customer service.
Sharon Nichols: The window says limit 100 persons in store due to covid...there were13 customers in this store, with at least half that many employees; with two of them halting/guarding people at the doors. Girl said letting in as many as they could aid n sanitize after. There was no sanitizing going on. Felt rushed as they kept checking on. And it was the ONLY store in the entire outlet of 99 stores that was limiting customers.
Michael R: I wanted to thank American eagle for saving g me several hundred dollars today due to there terrible service. After all the marketing and work the company does to get a customer to purchase their merchandise poor execution at the register is completely unacceptable. Several cashiers just decided to wonder off leaving me waiting to check out. After the first one left to take a casual stroll to the back of the store, another one did the same thing both returning in two minutes to help the third cashier fold clothes for a customer being rung up. When a fourth employee meandered to the register and just started talking to the rest of the cashiers I just dumped what I had in the box by the line and walked out. I was in the premium outlets at around 1pm 1/1/21 watch the tapes if you would like to train your staff on how to not do business.
