We knew exactly what we were going to purchase & were planning to be in/out. There was 2 other gentleman there at the same time that were not able to enter either.

Andrew Waller: Phenomenal customer service. Went in to have two old Akubra cowboy hats reshaped. Both were special gifts from family members (since passed away) that had been stored for years.The gentleman at El Potrero showed tremendous care and patience in steaming and reshaping the brims, removing difficult folds and curves to restore them to a stylish wearable condition. After an hour of careful work, he smiled and said it was on the house!I'll never go anywhere else for western wear.

Sandra Garcia: I love this store. I came looking for new boots and to ask about hat cleaning and reshaping for a stetson hat I bought about 3 yrs ago. I'm pretty shock that they charge a good bit for this service. I think that they should offer this service free especially if you've bought 2 stetson hats over the last 3 years and about 5 pairs of cuadra boots over a 5 year period and just simply are a loyal customer. I would really hope el potrero western wear considers this. I've spend about maybe 600 and stetson hats. I think it's pretty wild you have to pay additionally for that.I do like the staff, everytime I come they are very well trained. They are knowledgeable in hats and boot leathers.

Idk what the communication issue is between the online order site and the location sending out my order. I had the employee at the boot barn in Concord order them the last time thinking that might get it right. No. I will never shop here again.
Scott Morris: The staff here is very helpful while not being pushy. Great selection of clothing and boots. My son bought a belt here and the buckle broke within a week of purchase. He didn't have the receipt, but they exchanged the belt no questions asked. We will be shopping here in the future for sure.
Jennifer Kennedy: I’m not sure what has happened since the summer, but this store has gone downhill. My husband and I went in this evening. The store was a mess, the workers were too busy talking to each other to help and I’m fine with speaking Spanish when a customer doesn’t understand it. However when the employees walk around speaking Spanish to one another that’s just rude. The employees dress like they work at a bar in clothes that don’t fit, my husband has to get clothes down for me and nobody asked to help. The cashier didn’t even ask us if we wanted to get the deal of 2 for $80 on the Cody James jeans. I almost felt like I was shopping at a TJ Max. If you don’t get your store together it’s probably going to be shut down.
Dana Mull: Customer service is awful! I placed order online and got the wrong thing twice as well as a pair of boots that had been worn. I took my items into the Concord store to exchange. When I asked Joe for help he waved me over to the side of the store and wouldn't help me find the correct item. He wasn't friendly or helpful at all. For a customer spending $500 this wasn't acceptable. I got a refund and will take my business elsewhere.

Judy Fuller: The first impression is the last impression. Took my purchase to the checkout to ask two questions... one asking about the size and the other about the return policy. Two people at the checkout, one a man the other, a lady on the phone. He appeared to be new, waiting on guidance from the person on the phone. After getting the answers. I decided to make the purchase. The first question asked was, what's my phone number? I looked puzzled and asked why do you need my phone number? He looks at the lady on the phone. She gets off the phone... not in a nice way.. "our system is down and this is how we're tracking the information to enter later. " My response, I will give you all 9s for my phone number. She didn't seem to like my answer. If my phone number is needed I won't make the purchase. Then they were not taking cash. Which I was okay with. Then things turned around for the better. The purchased was made. The first thing they should have explained is WHY you're needing a phone number. I still would have provided 9s and don't get upset if someone doesn't want to provide their phone number.
