Maggie Jones: I was disgusted that the cashier managed to find her way to my location in the store under the pretense of folding merchandise that is already folded. Every time I turned around she was on my heels! Reckless and pathetic!!!! I’m not sure what kind of medieval set up they have in the store where they felt the need to set up a watch dog on my tail. I felt discriminated against and yes if you’ve not guess I happen to be black!! So you may as well stick the nice greeting you get entering the store and flush it down the toilet!!
DayDay Abu: The store merchandise is quality but the staff needs improvement.I was the only person in line checked out with only 2 items, the male staff that checked me out only put 1 of 2 of my items in the bag! The Next day I spoke with the manager Erin or something like that. After 6 hours he called me back and said the item was left at the register and I could return to pick up there or concord or he would mail it to me? I opted to have it mailed as I live to far to return and why should I since it was their fault, plus I'm traveling and purchased same for my trip!!! I asked to be compensated for my inconvenience. He told me "Sorry we wont be doing that!" Though he was not rude some type of requital should have been made!!! Bottom line if you are shopping in this store make sure you count all of your items don't depend on the stupid cashier to place 2 items in a bag for you cause the store manager will not make things right for your inconvenience!!!

Kristina Chesnokova: I purchased jacket for my husband, it was on final sale which I didn’t know that it was final. On the register the cashier didn’t tell me that I can’t return the item. My husband tried it on and it was too small, I came two days later to the store to exchange or return the jacket. The cashier told me that she can’t do it because it was final sale and only they will do it’s a credit store card which I really don’t need especially after the attitude which was given me. They told me that it says on the receipt about final sale, I explained that I can find out this information only after the purchase NOT before and the cashier didn’t tell this information too. I asked to speak with supervisor the answer was that he is not in the store and they can’t give me his number to solve the issue. I am so disappointed about that. Bad customer service!

He told me that they not only had it, but that they had it in different colors. When I got there, he showed me where they were and I was able to take my time to pick out the right one. A hag named Daphne: They get two stars because they have a good selection of items, no further stars because of the attitude of the workers in there. Snootiness on a whole new level. So my cashier was far worse horrible attitude wasn’t wearing a name badge she kept snapping at me while I was looking in my emails for my guess list 15% email to use. Nasty tone and attitude, so when I get ready to leave I ask if she’s a supervisor she said no and her tone changed. I asked about certain items before I asked if she was a supervisor and her responses were snappy. I’ve been a guess fan since the 80’s, maybe I should stick to shopping online and not in their stores or outlet stores anymore horrible experience.

Cory Lambert: This was my first - and last - experience with NM at Southpark Mall. I’ve been a native of Charlotte my entire life, and am well-aware that Southpark has always catered towards a financially-affluent consumer audience. Now in my adulthood, and with expendable income, I ventured into NM last week to purchase a Chanticalle foundation that I saw online. This is the only store in the area that sells it in-store and I needed to be color matched before spending $130 on makeup. The Chanticalle makeup counter consultant was pleasant and respectful. She even upsold me a $120 sunscreen/primer. I want to note that I told her I was apprehensive of the formula, as I have very oily skin and she assured me it would work and be light-weight enough for daily wear and to “just give it a try”. At no point did she mention a return policy or that I couldn’t bring it back to exchange it for store credit if her color-match was off (given they have fluorescent lighting in the store and it turned out to be much too orange in natural light). I tried it for two days and it was awful; I looked like an oil slick. I decided to return it, as I obviously cannot use it and do not want it. However, upon my entrance into the store today, I was met with looks of “she’s too poor to be here” - because I wasn’t wearing any up-scale brands like LV, etc. I was in tasteful (and expensive) black leggings and a t-shirt. I went directly to the Chanticalle counter and waited to be greeted by THREE different female consultants - all of whom made eye contact with me, acknowledging my presence, and literally walked off to avoid me. I finally was able to get someone at the Chanel counter to help, but she said that she needed to find the woman who completed the sale because “they can’t take makeup returns and it’s on her to handle it.” So rude, to both me and her coworker. I then had to walk to the other end of the cosmetics department to find this specific consultant, who greeted me with nothing but a cold “what do you want?” stare. She acted like she hadn’t just been told by her coworker that I needed to make a return with her. She then sighed in my face, and walked me to the register, and asked if I’d used the product. Well duh … it’s makeup. How can I know if it works for me if I don’t use it? She said their store policy is that can’t take back any item that “isn’t in re-sellable condition” (which is ridiculous, considering the inherent nature of cosmetics …) She then said that she would “do it this one time but in the future, they can’t do any more favors like this.” I was flabbergasted! Then she couldn’t even get the register to process my return for three tries. At the end, she literally just handed me my return receipt and walked off. Never in my life have I been treated with such prejudice at a store that I’M PAYING TO BE IN. I will never again come to NM, as it’s obvious they are cheap (because who in the world is re-selling used, returned “luxury” items??) and do not have the competency to train their staff that any customer has the capacity to be a sale - not just the ones that “look” rich.

Eventually gave up.When you go to the physical store, it's not any better. You have to wait outside in line for excessive amounts of time to spend your money, and even to browse only. This location is definitely not a reflection of the higher standards of treatment you receive at other US and non-US Gucci stores. Will not be dealing with this Charlotte location even though I live in Charlotte. Worth the headache to travel somewhere else if there's something you want or just choose another luxury label altogether!

Arlise Robinson: My cousin ordered some shoes online that were sent from a DSW store in Massachusetts. The shoes had a white bottom; however, bottoms of both shoes were dirty as if someone had worn the shoes and returned them.We returned the shoes to the store, and Emily at the customer service counter assisted us. My cousin told her the reason that she was returning the shoes was because the bottom of the shoes looked like someone had worn them based on how dirty they were. Emily responded and said "it's because our floors are dirty and the shoes get dirty from people walking around." It was a nice try at the answer, but nah man. Them shoes didn't even come from that store, so it's a no for that excuse. Second, we walked around that store for a few mins looking at shoes that had white soles, and none of the shoes at that store had that much dirt on the bottom. Third, whatever store sent the shoes, they put the clearance sticker on the bottom of the shoes on top of the dirt.Between the dirty floors, silly customer service answers, and the selling of dirty shoes, it's a no for shopping at DSW going forward. As for this location, y'all may want to call the company that cleans the carpet at Nordstrom Rack next door since Emily said the floors are dirty, which led to loss and business.Be safe!

Colin Woolard: Selection for toddler boys and preteen boys was lackluster at best. Men's wasn't too bad and for obvious reasons my wife and daughter found everything they wanted.
Daniel Williams: They had what I wanted in my size and color. Good customer service.
Lorena Horn: I had problems with returns today. Melissa the “manager” was very super rude I’ve never had been treated so bad in any other store. I have been shopping at DSW for years because I love mix N 6 brand and unfortunately I had a terrible experience today. I hope the store gets a better manager with more sense of costumer service.
Katherine Bennett: Really happy with my experience here! I was looking for a specific Eurosoft shoe right before a trip (so I didn't have time to ship it). I visited another DSW store and they didn't have it. I saw online that the Matthews location had one last pair in stock in the size and color I wanted. So I called to check and I'm not sure who I spoke to (a manager maybe) but she went above and beyond my expectations! She checked 3 separate times for the black shoe or one in another color and on the third check she found the one I saw online hiding in the clearance section. Also the girls at the counter were nice when I checked out. It really made my day to find this shoe and thank you to the employee who found it!
