Arlise Robinson: My cousin ordered some shoes online that were sent from a DSW store in Massachusetts. The shoes had a white bottom; however, bottoms of both shoes were dirty as if someone had worn the shoes and returned them.We returned the shoes to the store, and Emily at the customer service counter assisted us. My cousin told her the reason that she was returning the shoes was because the bottom of the shoes looked like someone had worn them based on how dirty they were. Emily responded and said "it's because our floors are dirty and the shoes get dirty from people walking around." It was a nice try at the answer, but nah man. Them shoes didn't even come from that store, so it's a no for that excuse. Second, we walked around that store for a few mins looking at shoes that had white soles, and none of the shoes at that store had that much dirt on the bottom. Third, whatever store sent the shoes, they put the clearance sticker on the bottom of the shoes on top of the dirt.Between the dirty floors, silly customer service answers, and the selling of dirty shoes, it's a no for shopping at DSW going forward. As for this location, y'all may want to call the company that cleans the carpet at Nordstrom Rack next door since Emily said the floors are dirty, which led to loss and business.Be safe!
Jason Ung: Bought 2 Reef sandals from DSW but they not true to size. I let it in closet too long so they reject refund or exchange to a bigger size because it pass 90 days. Nothing wrong with sandals, still in box but still reject. Customer satisfaction is not what they aim for I guess. Will stay away from DSW
P Jackson: Likely will not patronize this location again. I didn’t realize they closed at 7, it was 6:54. An employee ran to the door, grabbed it, and shooed me off. Excuse me for not knowing your hours!!

Emanuel Ramos: The shoe selection is fine and plentiful but my gripe is the checkout area. The dread of all shopping experiences.They make you do a reverse loop to then exit. You'll see it when you go and you'll wonder the same thing...just why?I assume to create a longer area for a line of people to stand but this forces your customers to walk into each other repeatedly to enter and exit the lone. That experience alone makes me realize the management doesn't care about the customer.

I usually shop here for sandals because they usually have a good selection of all styles. My last purchase was cute flat sandals to wear with my swim suit to the pool while on vacation. They were so cute that I bought another pair online while on vacation then the 3rd color when I got back. They were on sale and I had a fee rewards for being a vip member and it was my birthday month.

Michelle Broome: If I could rate one star I would. I purchased a pair of shoes online and accidentally had wrong address for shipping when order was placed. As soon as I realized my mistake I called to try and change the address. It was only about 10 hours after placing my order and it was still being processed however I was told they can not change my address or cancel my order at this point! So I am just out $90 because my package is going to another address and they told me there is nothing they can do. I’ve never been more displeased with a company.
Shereen: Lisa is one of the most helpful, knowledgeable and friendly employees I’ve ever met. She spent a lot of time trying to find the right shoe in stock for me as if I was the only one in the store. And she actually seems to enjoy her job, a rarity these days.

G: I passed through Charlotte on Saturday, November 16 on my way down to Florida. Normally, I don't shop at J&M because I'm the frugal type. Anyway, I've been looking for socks at all of my usual go-to discount stores, but none of them had what I was looking for. Not only did this store have them, but also had what customers look for and never find consistently - genuinely kind and helpful store staff! I wish I had learned all of the names of the persons to give kudos to each of them by name. Nevertheless, I do remember Greg. From the time I walked in to the time I walked out the brightness of his personality shined through the whole store. A definite keeper!Thank you, Greg and the rest of the staff that day. And thank you J&M for having the socks I needed!

Stephanie Rhodes: I have noticed many negative reviews about Barb who works here. First of all, she has been there forever and knows more about shoes than most people. But more importantly if you paid the least bit of attention, you would realize that she is hard of hearing, if you speak clearly and stand in front her you will not have any problems! I have always received very good service from everyone at this store and think it is a shame that a good employee is being slammed because of a disability!

Went back and the service was friendly, didn’t have the shoe we wanted in stock but got it from another location and will be delivering it to our home.
alison Ray: I called to ask if they had a size 8 in any Birkenstock’s that were non slips, I was told “yeah we do.” I drove 30 minutes to go try some on and when I got there I was told there are no size 8’s. I just don’t understand the logic here? There wasn’t even other non slip shoes in my size. I’m glad the sales clerk recommended rack room shoes or else my 30 minute trip would have been for nothing. I also rushed because I was told on the phone by the clerk that she likes to shut down the computers before 6pm.
John Apperson: Clerk chastised me on phone when I called to see if they were re-soling shoes during Quarantine, his response, “ we’ve been open since May 8 “ when I entered the store and handed over the shoes he chastised me for leaving them in a hot place which I’ve never done , then he took my name and number and I said will you call me when they’re ready and he was annoyed and said “yes that’s why I got your name and number.” I haven’t even gotten the shoes back yet but based on customer service alone I’m glad I don’t have to go back here often.
Vicky Kerr: I don't visit often because Birkenstocks have a long life. On this occasion I called to inquire if there were any Sherpa lined clogs in stock. The sales person said they were out but inquired at the Winston Salem NC store where there was one pair in my size. He had them shipped UPS to my house at no charge. I really appreciated the service. I only wear Birkenstocks.

You make me lose my time and my money... the seller only wanted my money, not a loyal costumer that had purchased Aldo for many years already.. so sad that my in store experience was so bad, as when done online it's much better.. 😫 😢

Rachel Snyder: We took our 14 month old son here today for his first pair of walking shoes and we couldn't have been more impressed. Everyone was friendly, helpful and found exactly what we needed. They have a great selection and I love there is a local place to find shoes for children! We will be back for our children's shoe needs. Highly recommend!

Metta Sama: I’ve told so many parent friends about this place, it’s time to review. This is a GREAT shoe store for children. Most of the brands are companies that only make shoes for children, like See Kai Run, Livvie & Luca, Footmates. But they also carry other brands that understand and love children’s feet, like Cape Clogs. The staff is super friendly and when they didn’t have the sizes we needed in the right colors, they ordered and shipped to us; free shipment. We drove many miles to visit this shop and will do so again.
Irina Ryabyy: The most amazing customer service experience I have ever experienced ANYWHERE. They went above and beyond in so many ways. I initially went to Kixx to get my daughter her first pair of shoes. Everyone was so sweet, knowledgeable and helpful. They measured her feet and we have loved the shoes so much. While there, I noticed a pair of cowboy boots that I was interested in getting for my nephews BUT I didn’t totally love the color. So, Kixx told me that they could most likely get a different color in the sizes I need. I never had to go back to the store or reach out to them for updates. They were literally personally texting me with pictures, different options and all order details. I was blown away by their personalized service, care to detail and honestly just how well they treated me. Even though the shoes are pricey, they are all such great quality and honestly worth it just because of the spectacular service! Will only be buying kid shoes from Kixx!

He later then came closer to where i was at massage envy and i spoke with the young man he explained he was cleaning windows as he gives them a service almost every week and how he didnt feel respected or welcomed most the time he came to the store. I felt for the kid cause as he was explaining you could see tears of anger trying to be held back. I had almost the same experience from the specific lady he was mentioning with the demeanor. Its not what you say but sometimes how you say it and even body language. My experience wasnt the very best and after what i had witness it was unacceptable and i will not be returning to this store. Mistreatment along those lines of race or gender should not be acceptable!!!

Nickole Dardaine: I’ve visited this location quite a few times now, each time has been a pretty fine experience and they have a great selection of shoes for kids and adults. Sad to mention that I have witnessed an encounter between an employee and, who seemed to be, a customer which escalated into a discriminatory dispute started by the employee and their arrogance. I am not surprised being that on my personal record, that specific employee is notably unpleasant, but to see that situation escalate to where there was an outburst, was very uncalled for and distasteful. Employees are the face of the company and if I were the head, I would not let that encounter bypass. I feel empathetic for the customer/worker that was in the argument because we relate. For that, I will not be a returning to this store, period.
Mckenzie Catley: Just left this store to buy my son his 1st pair of walking shoes and had the best experience!! Everyone was so helpful and sweet. Had the best brands and we purchased exactly what I wanted. Highly recommend this store.

The shoes I bought were expensive, but durable and beautiful! They did have good sales and other reasonably priced shoes too! At least take a look around!!

Eric Ransone: Great place to go to get name brand shoes at good prices. They have a huge variety, from sandals/crocs, various athletic shoes, dress shoes, and even work boots. Their "buy one, get another half off" deals are tough to beat, too. When I need shoes, I most often go here first and often find what I need. They usually have a good stock of various sizes, too. The store is very clean, well organized, and well maintained, never appearing run down. Staff is very friendly and helpful and are very knowledgeable to help you get the right shoe for you. They also have means to shop online and order ahead for in store pickup, which is convenient. I recently purchased a performance Asics running shoe here at a very good price and I am VERY satisfied with its fit and feel. My wife shops here too for herself as well as for our two sons. We've been shopping here quite often since we moved here from the Carolinas almost 13 years ago and have always been very pleased with our shopping experiences.

Courtney Dendy: Visit 7.17.2022 @5:45 pm. I swear I would have left this store if I didn't need these shoes now. Poor customer service. Not once greeted when I entered the store or anyone else. The one person who greeted me turned out to be a customer as well. Young lady stocking the shoes had a bad attitude and was clearly bothered by people being in the store. Asked her to reach me a pair of shoes from the top shelf and it clearly inconvenienced her. She didn't want to be at Work working. She just wanted to be at work.
Channy: The whole point of going to RackRoom is taking advantage of the deals. Buy one get one 50%. They have done something so confusing with the signage in that store in terms of now offering bogo and buy 1 get one 50%. You can't combine the deals, you can't get certain brands like none and addidas unless the show is a certain price and there's no explanation of any of these changes in the store. The clerk had no idea what deal could be used on what shoe. Someone from the back had to come out and explain. I spent 45 mins trying to qualify for a deal and finally just left paying full price for 2 pairs of shoes. I'm beyond aggravated with that experience.
