Valeriy Viazov: My wife and I bought two pairs of sun glasses at this store. Customer service was pleasant. When we got two our car we discovered a scratch on the inside of the glass. I took my glasses back to see if I could get new glasses ordered to my house. I was very shocked to find out that when I brought my glasses back I was notified first that I was charged incorrectly and I need to return both glasses and repurchase them. Because we purchased two pairs, we received 50% off for the second pair of glasses, we apparently could not use $50 voucher that we had. The manager was more concerned about $50 rather than fixing the issue with the glasses. Cashier that was helping me was very nice and I apologized multiple times. She did call the manager to see if anything could be done to fix the situation. At the end we wasted our time, returned both pairs and walked away. Over $50 manager lost a sale, customers and got a bad review. I believe selling scratched glasses should have been number one priority to fix and then maybe bring up that I was charged incorrectly.

I went there to exchange a pair of glasses that I purchased a week back for a new pair that I saw online and everything went super smooth. No questions were asked, they simply checked the glasses that I returned and ordered my new glasses as well. 10/10. I would highly recommend this place.

If anyone has found them please let me know ! The they are grey and beautiful. Flights. Smoke gradients. I accidentally chipped a tiny piece off and I was told when I bought them they had a guarantee. While I was in the area I took them in to see if they could fix them and they did right while I waited. I love that you can choose not only your frames, but the type of lenses you want different levels of shade. I’m trying to decide which pair to add to my ever growing collection.

Tiffany Clarke: Portia was wonderful! I was looking for a particular pair of sunglasses. She was helpful in finding the sunglasses, having them fitted and providing best care practices. I had to tighten the sunglasses the next day and she did it without any fuss.

K PB: My husband happened to be on a business trip and stopped by the “ South Park” mall to purchase a charger for his computer. He walked into solstice, looking for a pair of Chloe glasses for me, He didn’t see the pair that I wanted but ended up with a fabulous pair of DITA sunglasses for himself. A sales assistant named Portia was super helpful, non-assuming, and gave her honest opinions, , which in this day and age is rare. He could’ve easily purchased a pair sunglasses when he got back home but her service was top notch.
spyder won: Just tried calling to see if they had a pair of glasses on the floor. Asked for the frame by brand, name, and color. The person working didn’t seem to know the name of the brand or frame. I had to repeat it 5 times, and then the person said “okay” then asked for the brand name and frame separately again, as though they don’t work there at all. I then offered to read them the UPC number from their website, and they said “no that’s not what I want”. Then 20 seconds later, they asked for the upc like I didn’t just offer it. When I started reading it, the person cut me off and asked to put me on hold.Now that mostly just sounds like poor communication, which can happen nbd. But the person seemed to not know their products and was also being oddly aggressive. I had been planning to drive down there to potentially buy them, but am no longer interested in going there. So strange.

Fatimah Abdur-Rahim: The first day the store re-opened and I have never been treated so poorly in my life. I went to the Charlotte, NC location (SouthPark Mall) on Saturday May 29th at 3:12pm. The door was slightly ajar when I walked in and the first associate I saw didn't greet me when I entered and just stared at me.I ignored him and just decided to pick out what I wanted and leave. I immediately spotted the sunglasses I was looking for, picked them up, and the "manager" Rosemary Echevarria started yelling at me because I didn't have a mask on. She also snatched the sunglasses out of my hands stating she has to disinfect them. She told me I couldn't be in the store without a mask. I explained that I had one in my bag and took it off just prior to coming in because it was hot. She replied with "the sign on the door says masks are required. I asked her if I should step out of the store, put my mask on, and step back in. She didn't answer and just kept repeating that the sign says masks are required and then asked me to leave.I have never been treated so rudely in my life. I will never shop at this store again and will tell everyone I know about the poor service.

DIANA LONDONO: I purchased 3 weeks ago, They are very transparent for polarized glass, so I decided to exchange them. Once I get to the store, a sales person took my glasses and took them to the front desk/register , waiting for me to pick new model. After 15min another salesperson came to me told me that they can not exchange them because 1 scratch in the frame and lenses. I checked them before I came to the store and they were in perfect condition. My husband and I , DID NOT give the glasses in that condition to the sale representative. We explained, but they just suggested us for trade in, but this is no fear. We paid $150 we poor quality and now I can not return them. Rick Gonzales: I was there a couple Friday and customer service was terrible. I just wanted to exchange/return an item and it took almost an hour. System was apparently not working properly, on top of the manager giving us a free show of how she yelled at some guy just because he wanted to return his item for a second time or something. And also her kicking a customer out because we were at full capacity… which is completely understandable but the way she did it was VERY VERY rude. Energy in the store was bad, and not pleasant to shop around.

Matthew McDonald: I will never be buying sunglasses from any Sunglass Hut ever again.I went into the store on a Tuesday, purchased 2 sunglasses totaling $300+. 1 pair was to be shipped to my house and the associate told me that it would be arriving in 2 business days. 2 business days passed and I never received any confirmation from Sunglass Hut that my order had been shipped. When I called the store they had no record of my purchase and asked me no less than 6 times whether I was sure that I made the purchase in store or not. They told me to call the Corporate number to have them look into the situation but when I did call, the Corporate number was not active because they had closed early that day. When I called the next morning I sat on the phone with a representative for 45 minutes and they were not able to tell me anything other than this was a "unique situation" and that they did not know how to resolve it. They then informed me that I would need to take a refund for the sunglasses and then re-purchase because the order was never processed in their system. While they said that, the money had already been posted to my credit card, so clearly they took my money but had no intention of actually completing the order. I am extremely disappointed with the overall customer experience and would highly recommend avoiding this company and just purchase directly from the sunglass companies.
