I was never asked if I would like to look for other merchandise or why I was making the return- that is the service I have been accustomed to in other ATL stores in the Charlotte area.

There was a sales associate at the very front display folding clothes as I entered who looked me directly in my face & did not part her mouth to acknowledge me or present any form of pleasantries. Ok.. i continued to see if there was anything interesting to buy. I picked 4 pair of pants & 2 shirts to try on. I had question re: ordering an item if the store didn't have my size.....so, i found 2 sale associates folding jeans , i walked up to them & said excuse me; no response.. they continued with their in depth conversation. At that point, i just left the clothes & walked out. GOT TO DO BETTER LOFT AT SOUTH PARK... will never visit that location again.

Paige Jackson: As a former employee at Loft, I was extremely shocked and disappointed in the customer service from associates AND the manager of this location. The manager rolled her eyes and used a condescending tone with me on two separate occasions. An associate displayed extremely poor customer service and common sense when dealing with a simple, question regarding an order processing request. I have never had such awful experiences at Loft before. I will never shop at this location again. I’d rather take my business to a store location where there are helpful, knowledgeable associates or simply order online.

Shelby Howell: The products are great but if you have to return an item ordered online, you are screwed. Every time I return an item, I have to beg for a refund or store credit. It should not be this difficult, especially at the price customers pay for the clothing.

Tamara Lynn: I'm a big fan of Free People, but most likely will not be coming back here again and will just shop online moving forward. The employees were not very helpful, the store was not busy when I came in and no one welcomed or approached me. Paying premium prices for some regular clothes should at least be felt in customer service.
Nicole: Free People has the worst online customer service. I have tried to order the same dress 3 times, the first time my order was canceled by the fraud department, but the company could not give me a reason on why. The second time I purchased the same dress and it went through (size small), however this dress was too big. I tried to go back and order the same dress in a smaller size (size xs) and purchased express shipping to have it here on time for engagement pics, the fraud department canceled my order again. No one from the company contacted me, just sent a cancellation email. When I called customer service they still had no reason on why and would not honor my purchase or shipping. I am extremely disappointed in a company that charges $130 for a dress and does not stand behind what they advertise.

JOSEPHINE: My husband and I came to South End for lunch. I walked into Free People while he did his own thing. Some background, most of my closet is filled with Free People. I love that Bohemian look, Free spirit. I’m quite familiar that Anthropologie is a sister company etc.I feel as if there may be some ageism going on here. Can’t say for sure. The employees didn’t seem very interested in offering help. In fact they said a big hello to a young woman that came in right behind me. I know South End is a younger crowd but please! I did notice a few more Google reviews that complained about the lack of good customer service. I hope they read these reviews and make some positive changes.

Madison Hendrix: Had the worst customer experience of my life here. I wandered around the store and was the only person shopping. Multiple times employees walked past me and never said a word, even as I let myself into a fitting room. On my way out someone said have a good night (the first interaction of the entire night) and before I could even say anything the girl yells back “NO? OK” wee Coming from someone who used to work in retail I will never be back.

Melissa Toro: I came in the other night & was greeted by a warm face with Dominic (sp) & Ed who works the cashier & seems to be in a leadership position was also really helpful. I was even given a Spring discount on top of my purchase because Ed knew I was starting a new career. It may have been something that was already offered on top of my 50% off but it seemed really intentional & thoughtful. Don't let these two go ever, JCREW, & pay these men more please. They deserve it & work in a busy area where we all like our timeless styles. :)Clean store. Smaller & an outlet but perfect to grab something timeless on the go.

My experience with JCrewwas the lowest I have ever felt in my life. I was always bullied by one employee ,mocked by another, a L.P.superviser that would turn his back on the problem just because he didn't want to deal with the issues , and when I would say something about it, I could see the smirks on their faces. They thought it was easier to get rid of me instead of dealing with the real issues at hand. So if your looking for a job here, watch your back and keep your guard up.

ten dwilliams: J.Crew is a rare find store. For years, I overlooked because the marketing manican was so conservative which doesn't fit my personal flare and budget. However, I enjoy the location at South Park Mall area. Select items are must have. The team is courteous, warm, and friendly. Prices are super reasonable when on clearance. Chris Hickman: Went in to return a pair of shoes that just weren’t what I expected when I ordered. The guy in a plaid shirt, caramel cardigan and beard with mask took the box from me, scanned it asked for my email and said “your all set”. I went over to look for a blazer and to browse the new stuff and he never once acknowledged my existence. Now for the record EVERYTHING I was wearing was JCrew and yes I love the product! But despise the way I was received and treated. Assuming a key carrier or Manager of some kind that doesn’t realize that the reason he works and has the job is because of people like me purchasing. So in the future be a bit more friendly.

The lady (blonde, short and heavy) was in the middle of a conversation with her co-worker. I walked up to her & waited politely without saying anything, so I could let her finish the conversation. She "side-eyed" me and asked if she could help me with anything. I proceeded to show her the picture of what I was looking for, and she decided that they did not have the item in the store. The dismissive demeanor is unnecessary; then she added her "eyes roll" while I was walking away, signaling to her co-worker as if I am such a bother to her while she's at work.Lady, I am going to say this as kindly as possible. Your appearance is not already a bad look to the store; please try to make up for it with your customer service. If you want to engage in a conversation that is not bringing business to your employer, then have it outside of work on your own time. I am sure the company you are working for expect business, and you are doing everything else but that. If anything, you are taking away business with your lack of work ethic. Please excuse yourself; perhaps, the fast-food industry is more fitting for your standard.I wish you improvement in your career. .

I could hear one of the managers coaching the staff which was very positive. It was just about how to be more exceptional. I have not walked in an Ann Taylor in 10 years. Nichelle Heard: I’ve never shopped in this store before - ever - at ANY location. Was like a lost puppy originally when I walked in, but I know I need to go to the Petite section because I’m only 5ft tall. I was looking for professional clothes because well, I have to work back in the office now, and I don’t have any cute stuff pre-pandemic. KeKe was SO helpful with identifying 3 blazer+pants combo outfits. I kept running her back and forth to the dressing room helping me but I found the “In Curvy” style pants work best for me. My problem is I’m short, very short, and I have wide hips+large buttocks+ TINY waist. It’s so hard for me to find ANYTHING that fits but KeKe was my good luck charm! She helped me find the right items providing the BEST customer service (which is so hard to come by these days honestly…) then I go to checkout and Taylor (I think she’s a manager maybe) was super nice and offered to order me a pair of pants that were out of stock in my size in the store. She was seriously the icing on the cake to a great shopping experience in barely over an hour right up until closing time. These ladies need to be praised, because I truly loved my experience shopping due to them. Will definitely come back to try and find that last pair of pants I need. Overall a great experience! Super excited to wear my new outfits to work!! Thank you KeKe and Taylor ❤️

Allie Mehra: The staff here are really nice and helpful, but my complaint is the dressing rooms. My room was caked in dust; the wall sconce, baseboards, and edges of the floor had a layer of dust and lint. It felt grimy and really gross. If I noticed it right away, there's no way the store associates haven't noticed. Please clean your fitting rooms.

I went straight to sale section in back found several pieces to try on. Asked the gentlemen associate if i can just walk in the fitting room to try on the clothes, he responded by nodding his head 🤔😶.. i ended up not allowing the discomfort to deter my day of shopping in Ann Taylor. Decided to make purchase: 2 pants, 2 shirts & 1 blazer... only good thing is the checking out: very young lady who checked me out was friendly .. come on Ann Taylor gotta do better...
Liz Weinstein: Okay store in a convenient location. There is always a shortage of sizes and sections with new products are typically bare. You have the option of ordering items, but that won't help if you need something within a few days. Depending on who's working, you may receive good service or no service at all.

Lesley DeSessa: I had hands down the best experience ever shopping for jeans today. Wow! I was working wtih Citlalli T and she went above and beyond as far as customer service goes. I had a pair of jeans that I brought with me to use with the recycle program to get $20 off. The jeans I got from Madewell and they had a tear in the back. I had them for less than 6 months but I wasn't going to cause a stink about it. I was just going to do the recycle program and use it towards a new pair. She told me about the policy they have and gave me $ for what I paid originally for the damaged pair. I was able to use that towards a purchase of two new pair of jeans! She was so so patient and willing to help. She went above and beyond trying to help me find jeans that fit well and I feel so confident wearing my new jeans. I will 100% come back and work with her. THANK YOU!
Anika Bratt: Love having a madewell so close! Also my husband loves that he can shop there too. Been in twice during COVID and while they are taking proper precautions (limiting how many people can come in, enforcing masking)—some of the employees aren’t actually wearing their masks over their noses which makes all the other precautions pointless!

Maxie Williams: Very disappointed that I had to basically beg to get in this Rainbow store this evening. I arrived (after calling to confirm closing time was 7pm) at this store located at 4728 South Blvd, Charlotte NC 28217 around 6:48pm but the door was locked. I knocked on the door but the staff just looked at me. I walked back to my car, looked the number up to call them and they still refused to let me in. All of this still before 7pm. She stated that the store was closed. At this point, still having about 5 or 6 mins before 7pm, I told the young lady, all I need to do is return something and either you can let me in or give me your Regional Manager’s number. She came quick then. I was very upset so I didn’t say anything to the staff as I didn’t want to be disrespectful but I did confirm with the short caucasian lady that processed my return that she was in fact the Store Manager! I see other reviews of this same complaint. Sad! Do better South Blvd store; embrace integrity and improve your customer service skills!

Other Stuff: Returned item purchased with a gift card; which was then refunded as merchandise credit. Asked to purchase another item online using the credit (because petite size jeans are not stocked in stores). Store manager there was so unpleasant and seemed annoyed with my questions. She explained I cannot use the credit for online purchases, and said although I paid with a gift card for the initial transaction, they cannot refund as a GC. Makes no sense! I should be able to get funds returned the same way. I then asked if she would order/ship to her store so I could use the credit. No. Lots of nos.

Ga M: Came in today, got a cursory 'hi'. I may have liked a little raggedy because I had just run 4 miles but I probably had more money to spend than the other 2 ladies there ( who were both doing returns ). I was really wanting an $80 dress and was looking at it for over 10 minutes just to see if one of the 3 salespeople would say anything to me. 2 walked by many times with not a word. I decided that if I wanted it that badly , I would go online. Don't judge a book by its cover, ladies. Some of us just like to veg out on our days off and you just lost a sale.
