David Snyder: Well, it seems the "get the hole in the ground, and then abandon them" isn't dead. We contracted with them back in March, we gave them a deposit, and they did the initial demo for a pool refurbishment. Now, for 5 weeks, we cannot get anyone to call us back, and they basically have disappeared (gone out of business???). We completely refurbished the new home we purchased here, inside and out, and this is the first totally unethical company we have had to deal with. We figured we might run into this, and now we have !!!

Becky Plemmons: This store is dark and very cluttered. The owner never answers the phone and he rushes you out of the store while still asking questions on pool stuff.He refers customers to pool technicians Jeremy Robbins and Bill Canaday which were fine foe very simple issues on a pool but when they came out to put in a new liner and motor they were not as good as was said.I came away paying for a liner that separated in two week and the back side of my pool will has major size folded liner that can't be fixed and then they scratched every single pool panel I had and broke several of the caps on the top as well as busted my back wash hose. My pool had never been scratched but Bill tried to act as if it qas but then Bill brings out car paint in a pen to fix it and the color wasn't even close.and he said here is the receipt if you need to change the color.They never offered to repair or fix anything and I had to pay Jeremy Robbins 75.00 to come put a piece of liner on the spot that separated.This guy's are not trained professionals so it would be better to hire a company with moral and ethical values.Service:Swimming pool equipment repair

Herbster TV: 99% of the time Mark has what you need to get your pool right - whether its chemicals- tools or filter parts. If you are having problems with your water - bring in a sample- and let him test it and he can help you figure out the chemicals and dosage to get it right. The place can be busy - so be patient and he will take care of you.
Ron Fauconniere: Mark is "THE MAN". Only place I will go for anything pool related. Ordered a liner and he gave me a great deal on that and vermeculite. His knowledge is invaluable.

John Finn: Please do not use this company. They installed an IAqulink upgrade to my pool on 3/25/21. The next day, both my pool light and spa light stopped working. They said that it was just a coincidence and are not responsible for fixing them. What are the chances of both lights blowing out immediately after they installed a new circuit board for $2,000? Drew Cannon: Employees swear they sell products that they don’t have
Todd McCollum: I experienced the Worst customer service ever in this store on 6/2723 at 3:30pm. I purchased a Polaris automatic pool cleaner and needed it serviced. Came in 4 weeks ago was told there were 14 ahead of me come back in 4 weeks. I came back today and now they are saying they willNot take any more units as the repair shop is full. I will never buy anything from Leslie pool again!! I would encourage ever Consumer out there to Do the same and take your hard earned dollars elsewhere. We need to stay Vito g with our DollR and start demanding we get great customer service again.

When I recently went in ( for an incredibly small purchase) I found the knowledge professional give me the insight and attention you would expect from a massive purchase. He knew his products. He did not attempt to “up sell”. He simply took care of my needs. I have actually told 1/2 dozen friends. Well trained and exceptionally engaged.
JT Cannon: Never in my life have I been welcomed into a store so rudely and without any customer service in his mouth at all. I mean I ask him where the Matthews store is because when I asked for filter sand he plainly said we were out! I had to drag it out of him that I could get it from the Matthews store. Then as I walked around the store because I am a new pool owner I have never felt so uncomfortable in a store since he was watching me walk around. I then had to ask where this Matthews store was because I live in lake Wylie. He said East Independence just Google it! I mean this store in no way stays open with their customer service. What a ride, bitter old man!You know what I am gonna google another store completely never had my business before and certainly aren’t gonna get it now! Way to treat a new pool owner!
DC: I called this location this morning and asked about a specific pool pump. The guy told me that he had the pump in stock and it was $289. I drove from Waxhaw and when I when I arrived the guy told me told me that he told me the wrong price on the telephone and the sign was in the wrong place and the pump is actually $369. He would not honor the price and would not give me any type of discount. Horrible customer service.
Brian McGowan: Staff has always been super courteous and helpful. Even when you don’t buy some thing I get my water tested there all the time and they don’t have a problem with it. They don’t try to sell you unnecessary chemicals and they just tell you what you need to do in order to get your pool looking fantastic. They have a really good app as well so you can look up your treatments that you need to do.

Power Seawright: Communication is pretty poor. I’ve ordered online to pickup in store. Said I would get an email but it’s been about a week. I called the store and they put me on hold and after about 10 minutes just hung up. Not sure if I’ll get my order but with no email or phone communication it’s hard to tell. Also during that time one of my orders was cancelled but there was no reason given so I’m having trouble. Physical location is about 20 minutes away so it’s not so convenient to drive over there just to get an update.
Will B: I was referred to Leslies Pool Supply by my manufacturer for warranty repair of our automatic pool cleaner robot. When I dropped it off, was told I would hear from them when they can diagnose the problem give us an update.I called 2 weeks later to check and they said they had diagnosed the problem and ordered the part, but unsure when it will be in. (Didn't get a call to inform us of this update).I waited 1 month, no call. I called the store on Saturday to check the status of the repair and was placed on hold for 15 min. and no one came back on the line. I hung up and drove to the store and the cleaner was repaired and ready.The repair work seems good. The communication process for the customer is abysmal. I would avoid the store, as their communication to their customers is non-existent.

Paula Brasel: Not very friendly. New pool owner and guy didn't explain any of the water test to me and acted like I was bothering him. Just handed me the paper then asked if I want the chemicals. Had to keep asking questions to get any info on how to use, etc... Will not go back.

Diosa Adams: I have been going to this location for 8 years and loved them. The new staff and the manager have no customer service. They didn't bother to help my husband, and sent him away without a product he needed for our pool. They were short with me on the phone when I asked for information regarding getting my pool up and running. I called to let them know about my husband getting poor service and when I showed up to pick up the stuff the manager didn't bother to get off her cell to come talk with me. Literally do not want to be of service or keep my service.
Bill Lehew: I bought a Jacuzzi pool pump which they installed. It had a 5 year warranty but went out after 2 years. It's been 6 weeks and my pool still isn't circulating. I had to go elsewhere and buy another pump. Terrible customer service!

Meg Hanson: Location just continues to decline. The women that are usually there and very nice.. However, specifically yesterday when I attempted to come in around 9:30 no one was there. I returned shortly after 10 and was finally open. Upon opening the door the entire store wreaked of weed. I immediately left. Will not be returning when the guy is working there.

Ez E: We returned a pool vacuum on 8/8/21, as of July 16th we have still not received our 200 dollar refund. Go to the store and get the run around, call corporate and customer service and get the same. Save your money and shop elsewhere. I will be talking to the BBB. We've been more than patient, no refund should take a year.

Hayden Fashion and Costuming: So two things I wanna say great customer service and helpful staff.And second I want to comment about a few reviews.How ridiculous and pitiful of a human ro you have to be to write a bad review about a county mandated mask rule. You are in the store for a whole total of two minutes and don't have enough human decency to respect others and put it on. Those workers have to wear those masks all day. Stay home if you have a problem. Also where in the constitution does it say you don't have to follow safety regulations? Uh this guy didn't get his GED. Second who writes a bad review about a lack of product in a time where 90 percent of material is hard to get or not being produced. I can recommend a few classes that will educate you on how product flow works. Who are these a.holes who get off on harassing these poor employees because of stuff they can't control? Get a life lol. Save the bad reviews for things that actually deserve them.
Karla Deras: Went in about 2 weeks ago for a few pool chemicals. The two gentlemen asked me politely to wear my mask, I completely respect the business and their policies. I complied w/ not argument as a normal person should. They were very helpful in finding what I needed, ask for some advice and they seemed VERY knowledgeable. 10/10 would recommend everyone to go there!
Soraya Gonzalez: I had a big project for my inground salt-water pool. I had to replace the entire pool system from filters, pumps, heater, salt-water cell, automation system, etc. with a number of features to accommodate. My biggest concern was pushing this project on a business that was not equipped or around to help with future problems down the line. I went to Leslie’s Pool in Matthews with my project, and I do not regret it. I have the backup of a national pool distributor and service provider that hires skilled technicians dedicated to doing a great job, like Austin. And, I had the enormous support of Wolfe from the Matthews facility providing that in-person care, looking out for every detail of my project personally. I could not have been in better care. Thank you for your help.

Corinna Bonilla: We have an above ground pool that was a swampy mess and now is crystal clear thanks to Leslie's staff. They did a free water test and gave me step by step directions for how to correct the water. Staff are always very knowledgeable and able to answer our questions.

DNP: Too many times this place made me make the trip for nothing.Don't get there 30 minutes before closing since there is a good chance they'll make you come back another time.

The staff are really helpful in regards to your pool maintenance.However, when it comes to buying parts, if your brand isn't one of the few they stock they seem in a hurry to dismiss you and send you else where, even if they do have something that will work for you.So I've stopped asking questions and just say I'm browsing so I can find what i need.The prices for accessories seem excessively high for the same brands you see in all retailers.
