The boba pearls were small and hard in the middle. We were not impressed with the quality of the tea at all. We were staying in Uptown Charlotte and this location was our only option on a Sunday.

Cassandra Stilwell: I love ShareTea! I always get the coffee milk tea with brown sugar boba and it is always delicious!! I always get it half sweet, and they always make sure it taste of such. I love the consistency of this place, unlike Starbucks, where these days the drinks seem to be always slightly different if you ask for modifications. The staff are always very friendly and helpful. I look forward to coming here before a busy night at work. It’s also a very chill place to get some work done in. I have stayed a few times study.

Such a cute little tea shop! My son and his friend wanted to try it so we drove the 40 min for the experience (we had dinner next door) and it was WORTH it. The teas we tried were delicious. I enjoyed my Honeydew slush so much I forgot to get pictures of the kids’ teas The restroom had a lock code, which is genius to make sure it stays clean and is still accessible to patrons. It’s important to have clean bathrooms ok? Even the bathroom was cute—and super clean. Which matters and gives confidence to me in a food establishment. Can’t wait to go back and try more combos of teas, and that Matcha Cheesecake.

Their lemongrass tofu banh mi is amazing. Ryu Fan: Good clean service. They make a decent vietnamese sandwich which is what makes me come back. In comparison to other places this has to be the more delicious and better valued sandwich of the CLT area. Their boba is top notch & the plaza has some of the better stores of the city! Staff is nice and the cafe is clean. Don’t expect anything special with their food because it’s clearly not a full blown restaurant. I am a regular boba tea connoisseur and recommend this spot!

Uncle Drew: Couldn’t order a veggie only banh mi sandwich.. Literally just don’t add any meat or tofu.I offered to pay for a tofu sandwich and asked them to not add the tofu. The woman at the register said they can’t do that.So you mean to tell me you HAVE to add meat to a sub even though the customer doesn’t want it? You can’t just leave the veggies on as is?The chef is literally behind you just ask them to not add meat to it.Very annoying considering we spent $20+ on drinks.
Kat Makinde: There is a very nice and calm coffee shop type of atmosphere. I ordered a Vietnamese coffee and added coffee flavored jellies which was delicious. We enjoyed the pastries and the food, too. Menu pricing was very affordable compared to the inflated prices I am used to seeing now a days. To top it all off the staff was so kind. We will be coming back often.
Emelia Braveheart: No matter how good the drinks/food are... its always the same 2 moody girls that just seem like they are deeply unhappy with their job and it reflects with how they interact with their customers. The older and younger guy are nice at least.

Audrey Hurley: Alright, so the bubble tea from this place was probably about a 7.5/10. However, I have an issue with the food. First, a 10 year old child could’ve made a better sandwich. The ingredients had 0 flavor and raw vegetables were just thrown on top of a toasted bun. The edamame was absolutely horrible. It looked, smelled, and tasted OLD. So, in short, if you go here just buy the bubble tea and avoid the food at all costs unless you want food poisoning.

Kayla Phu: Worst boba place ever! The cashier never listened to us and kept looking away. The in ability to make ye contact or listen to clear orders is red flag #1. There are no gloves or hair nets (#2) the work place is disgusting with spilled powder and drinks everywhere… there was even spilled boba and an empty used cup right by where you order. (#3) the drinks gave our 7 year old a stomach ache and made me nauseous… (#4) the milk was left outside so everything is lukewarm and there’s not enough ice to keep it cold… the ice is also crushed meaning that it will melt faster and water down your drinks (#5). All the other bobas were sitting in open containers besides the cashier. My drink was pretty watered down and I could see powder chunks at the bottom. Definitely, totally SKIP this tea place.

Suzanne H: My husband’s mango drink was good, but my Thai milk tea had a very strange and (to me) unpleasant flavor that I could not make out at all, it was truly unrecognizable as Thai milk tea. I asked the server if perhaps there had been an error with my order. She replied that I’m probably used to the bright orange colored and vibrant flavored Thai tea that most other places serve, that their recipe had recently been changed, and their Thai tea has a unique atypical earthy flavor. I really tried to drink it but just couldn’t. This has literally never happened to me before. I’m flexible about trying something new if there has been an order mixup, but in this case I couldn’t swallow the drink. The “earthy” flavor was almost offensive to me. I ended up politely handing the entire drink back, said I was sorry but I truly couldn’t drink it and didn’t want to dump an entire drink in the trash. I got no response, just a shoulder shrug, no offer to try something else, no apology, no true customer service. Nothing to make me feel valued as a customer. I suggest that you let people know in advance that your Thai milk tea is completely different than the “norm” so that customers are not left disappointed like I was. I would have also appreciated some little gesture, especially given that this is a newer recipe that apparently needs more market testing. We won’t go back to Kung Fu tea unfortunately.

I-Quan Kelley: It’s unfortunate that I have to draw the line when I get to this kung fu tea place! I am big on customer service. In fact it’s something that I proudly practice in my every day life especially being a delivery driver. I don’t understand why it’s SUCH A BIG DEAL to request that I don’t add something in my drink. I’ve been to other kung fu tea places and it’s never been a problem and even at other bubble tea places but this particular place gives me a hassle every time I ask my drink to be made a certain way. I like a coconut smoothie/slush with classic bubbles. On the menu they have a “piña colada slush” and all I ask is to just minus the pineapple and they tell me “they can’t take an ingredient out”. So explain it to me, is this “piña colada” mix premade? Because it seems to never be a problem anywhere else but here. 🤷🏾♂️ I don’t even order the most difficult thing. Im very simple.

Sof: I've tried tons of boba places - tea fusion, binki, quickly, kung fu tea, etc.) but this is my ABSOLUTE favorite place, I always get amazing boba from here!! Kenya Templeton: I came in for a milk tea to be told before ordering that they could not make a milk tea because they did not have milk. Welp, that's half over of the menu you can't order from. Then proceeded to order a brown sugar ginger drink to be told they cannot make that either because they do not have the drink mix and it is not being supplied. That another 15% of the menu. So why are they even open today paying employees when they cannot make over half of the menu and getting customers' hopes up? I will never come back. It's a shame because it was cute inside and my first time coming.

She was upset to see that the entire menu lacked mandarin chinese. However the real reason for the poor review is because the staff there was not enthusiastic. The staff seemed to lack knowledge of common additions to Gong Cha drinks. I hope their boss pays them more, or routes out why their attitudes are lack luster. We would love to go back but probably won't after the bad experience.

I got the pearl milk tea with oolong, and I think she got the honey green tea with lychee pearls. It’s a little more expensive than my usual boba place, but the drinks were really good. Han Stw: Stopped by in the afternoon to get bubble tea. I ordered Purple Sweet Potato Milk Tea with Boba. I did ask for 30% sugar so it was not too sweet. The tea itself was decent and I did like the purple sweet potato. Tasted slightly differently than the taro and it has like a rich creamy taste. The boba was also good. Service was quick and they do have seatings inside. Plenty of parking.

E Y: The beverage selection at this establishment is satisfactory. However, we found the drinks to be less sweet than our personal preference. It is worth noting that shaved ice was not available during our visit, which was somewhat disappointing given the season. Mia: First visit here & I specifically wanted the Bubba tea. Since I've had my first one ever, I've become addicted! Nice, small shop with some comfortable seating in the front & tables in the back.Surprised to see they offer food or small snacks too. I requested the popcorn shrimp but they were out so I ordered the popcorn chicken I instead. The breading was different & probably would have tasted better but it was overcooked.The vanilla bean Bubba tea with pearls (also called tapioca depending on where you order from) however it's all the same was good.The staff was friendly and answered any questions I had about the menu. I will go back to try some more items before giving my final opinion.

Marty Collins: I had posted a while back. This place was great but now I want to make sure to give a proper review the lady working at the front register. I had no idea how to explain the sandwiches and they started playing music. That was absolutely disgusting with very foul language in it and I can tell the owner is not there because that there’s no way the owner would allow that music to be playing. I have my kids with me. Jermique N: A group of 9 of us went and we all got slightly different things. I ordered the Thai tea no Boba and a pineapple whie grape lemonade. It took a little while to get it because the place was kinda busy but that was ok. I gave 4 stars for atmosphere because there was no air circulating so it was kinda muggy almost humid in the building. My Thai tea was pretty good. A little different from what im use to but good. The pineapple white grape lemonade was soo good, omg. Just the right amount of sweetness, had pineapple pulp in the bottom and was really refreshing. I wish I would have ordered another one since i live out of town. Other than the temperature in the building, everything was great!!!

Cherrelle Crawford: I came here because of the T-Mobile Tuesday reward they offered from last week $2 off and I had to try it for a number of reasons of course because of the great reviews, I love boba tea and it’s right down the street from my job. I sat up an account to use the discount and to start earning points. The decor was very cute on the inside and the staff was very nice, explaining how to use the app and all of their drinks. I went with the winter melon tea 50% sweet and regular ice (I should’ve went lite on the ice you get more tea) with popping mango and my husband got oolong hot tea 20% sweet. I was very impressed with the taste of both of them not like most teas you get it had a freshness to them. I will get one of slushes next time that’s what everyone else got. I’ll be back soon.
