Stephanie Bohanan: Went in multiple times to pick up an order I placed with samsung. I hate giving less than 5 stars, but probably should be lower than 4. Firstly, there is no one to greet you, unless the police office is sitting at the front desk area right when you walk in, and there are employees walking around, but they don't acknowledge you either. I followed the directions on my email, and proceeded to the pickup orders desk, after about 7 mins with ZERO looks, questions, words from anyone at the other desk (customer service desk) I thought to myself, I bet I'm in the wrong area, maybe they do it differently. So I left, went and found someone. He appeared to be a manager. I just asked, " hey, I have a pickup order, am I in the wrong place, because no one has been by and the line at the other desk is getting quite long haha"? He apologized, told me I was at the right one and let me know it's because they are short staffed and had multiple call ins that day. He went over to the desk and did, in fact, get my order to me, I just can't stand the excuses. It takes nano seconds to say, hey, I'll be right with you, or hey, I'll send someone over. I never mind waiting. Ever. I mind waiting with zero updates. Because if you don't speak up, or advocate for yourself, then they would say, oh, I wish you had of told me, or let someone know. Well, we wish you would train people to say, hey, I'll get someone for you. 🤣 but, regardless, it was picked up and everyone makes mistakes. I know how retail goes and dealing with people sucks. But at the same time, when you're the one getting paid to do the work, there shouldn't be airpodsrt in your ear, you should not expect customers to move for YOU, and you should acknowledge people first. That is , of course, every place now, Not just here. They will make amazing fathers day gifts and birthday presents! And glad I was able to pick them up at a store.

Lawrence Dickerson: Took an item I purchased online and was told they cant support it since they dont sell it anymore. On top of it, spent an hour and after talking with bestbuy online- who said they should honor it- the "manager" who refused to speak with me said that its not covered and that is final. Oddly, I called bestbuy support again and they assigned it to another store to support me and guess what that store helped! Unreal! The geek squad support and "manager" in the uptown location are out of touch. Best to avoid this place for your support needs. However, overall, Bestbuy is great- this store though- looks nice but garbage customer support.

Devon Phillips: Wouldn’t do a return on an apple MacBook charger. Still in the box with a digital receipt. I purchased it 5 weeks ago, but I travel for work so it was outside the 14 day return policy. I called customer service online. They told me to go back to the store and ask for the store manager. His name was Brent and he was able to do store credit. I told him I’m even willing to take $10 it’s $75 charger but it doesn’t fit the MacBook so it worthless to me. I really appreciate everyone’s professionalism at this store. Next time I’ll try to do returns day of purchase. :)
Gretchen Wilkerson: Terrible customer service experience! Employees did not acknowledge or try to assist customers. I waited 15 minutes while two employees ignored me as they fumbled around on a register and phone. Three other customers and I walked out sharing the same frustration. Ultimately I went next door to Office Max and purchased the item.

None Required: This location had what I needed and stock. The gentleman to have stationed at the front of the store was kind and help me get what I needed quickly. This review is based on my purchase and the return of a couple of the items on the receipt. On both instances I have the same cashier assist me. When I made the purchase I had to ask for a bag even though my items were small. He told me I could have one but that was a pretty small transaction to need a bag. I'm sorry but I'm not a fan of just randomly carrying stuff in my hands out of the store. Then he proceeded to give me a bag that was ridiculously large for the size of the items that I had. Then when I returned a couple of the items he asked me if the flash drive was wiped and I replied that it was then he asked me if I was sure. I decided to bite my tongue and tell him that he is welcome to look if he would like to. Then once he completed the return he asked me if I really needed a receipt or not. I told him I would absolutely like a and he begrudgingly printed me one. Not sure if he just has poor people skills or what but I do not recommend this location unless you're just doing curbside pickup

yogena austin: Poor customer service, all they do is transfer you from one person to another. I purchased a receiver less than a year ago along with the total tech warranty. The receiver went out so I called and they scheduled someone to come out on a Thursday but it was a no show or no call. I called them and they sent another tech out the following Friday who determined I needed a new receiver and told me to call and set up an exchange appointment. I called and was transferred at least 7 times and twice the call was disconnect but no one called me back and they had my number. I spent 1.5 hours on the phone just trying to get this a freaking appointment.

Lori Sexner: Sales lady julie(a) was so rude. My family went to the store to purchase several computers. We all asked questions, which seemed to bother her. Made rude comments. She helped 1st person in my family and said couldn't help the rest of us. She said she had a meeting. Even tho we still saw her on the sales floor. We bought the 3 other computers we needed from Costco. Same computer $1000 cheaper each. She thought the 1 buying the computer should be the only one allowed to speak. My family works together.

Greg Perkins: First the good. Clean, neat, safe space with very knowledgeable people who are professional. Now the bad. I took phone in for repair and returned at the appointed time. The Tech who helped me, Brian, was great but since he was also helping 5 others at the same time it was chaos. He literally would run from customer to customer trying to help everyone at the same time only succeeding in having to restart or redo the setup process. All of the customers he was helping were openly frustrated. Brian, like all the Techs I have worked with there, is smart but SLOW down and treat your customers like we expect to be treated. Apple is a premium product charging a premium price and we customers expect to be treated as such.

Joshua Peeler: This place handles warranty's terribly. I got an apple warranty and came to swap out my headphones after it stopped working properly. They told me to give it to the technician to fix it. After I received it after about 5 days it started having problems again shortly after. The manger prior receiving it back (which was a black women) told me if it stopped working again to bring it back and then they will swap it out for about 30 dollars. I came back, told them what happened. They tried to replace it but did not know how to properly do it at their store. Then they strongly suggested that I give it to their technician for another look and they would only replace my wireless beats earbuds only and not the whole product( the case that charges the beats and is in charge of the Bluetooth). I ask for the manger ( a white guy this time) after being told this today and he very briefly analyzed the situation and recommended the same thing because he also did not understand the replacement process, he also told the lady to keep trying and if failed give it to the technician for another look. She finally found a solution to the problem after I was there for about an hour to replace it. The problem here is that I had to keep arguing with them about a replacement that I was told I was entitled by the prior workers there. If I hadn't argued about this I would have had to keep coming back and forth to this store to get it fixed ( this is a waste of my time). In conclusion, the training here is sloppy and needs work. I'm disappointed. The second time I came happened on 2/15/23

Do they know what they are doing? I wonder. Brand new iPhone was notset up properly. Could not get emails or text and video.

HARI SATYA SRI ATYAM: Too crowded all the time. Agents takes forever to solve the issue of the customers. And ask you to take an appointment it's ridiculous. If someone is walk in that's it need to wait at least an hour once agent come he takes an other hour. It's not standard according to store policies, who ever comes to North Lake mall to spend and relax time with their family it's not highly recommended. Need to go just to get your phone get fixed that's all.

Nicole Leigh: I came in yesterday (January 19) at around 1:30pm to get my iPhone 14 pro fixed. I had an appointment for 1:40pm and it takes a little more than an hour for me to get to Northlake. I was greeted instantly and only waited a few minutes before an individual came to me to get what needed to be done with the phone sorted out. I was told the phone would be ready for pickup by 3:25pm.I waited and came back at 3:25pm. My phone was still being “fixed” so I waited around 20-25 minutes longer. At that point Dave (I believe that was his name) came out and explained to me that my phone would need to be sent out for a repair since it was so new. Part of me wishes I would have been told sooner so I didn’t stay in the area so long but I also understand there was no way for them to contact me during that time so I don’t fault them for that. He provided me with an iPhone XR to keep until my phone is fully repaired and spent roughly a hour and a half making sure the phone was updated and things were transferred over (cell service, apps, etc.).Overall I had a really good experience at this store despite having to send my phone out for a repair (again, this isn’t their fault). The staff were all extremely friendly and I took note of how prompt and respectful they were with other guests!

Nicholas Dudde: Store is pretty small. Sure you can get money off used devices, but eBay/Facebook marketplace/Craiglist are better for literally everything in store. Example pricing: Guitar Hero guitars: ~$80-150, Logitech Racing Wheel/Shifter/Pedals: $200 (that's $60 less than new, and this was a set in what I'd call "Fair" condition), WiiU: $150-$200. If you're familiar with Gamestop pricing and selection, you'll fare the same or worse here. People raving about this place must not know where to look for good deals, or aren't willing to check the Web for independent sellers' prices.
Matt Bishop: This store has gone down hill sadly. In years past, the GRID offered good deals on used computers for people who needed them. They had great prices on slightly older laptops and I could always recommend them to people needing a laptop but who had tight budgetary constraints. Now, there prices match eBay and are even higher than eBay in some cases. They've also lowered their quality standards on what is considered ok to sell as acceptable used condition. Back when they were at University City, the GRID was a hotspot, and a service to people. Now, it's just another store with inflated prices on beat-up tech.

Was also able to purchase wireless Apple mouse for the fraction of the cost on both items. Computer surround sound and another 27 inch monitor. If you’re balling on a budget this is you go to place.

Jonathan Phillips: A bit of a drive to get there but they have solid electronics. From old MacBooks, iMacs, laptops, desktops, peripherals, retro video games (mostly ps2, ps3, Xbox, Xbox 360, and wii), controllers and even game consoles. I even asked if they test them before selling and they said they do.So I took apart the Xbox my brother got from them and it was clean like it was brand new and works like it was new. All the game disc's I have ever bought from thenlm are scratch free and work flawlessly.The more rare or expensive items are in the glass case, but overall the prices are fair. Definitely worth the trip.
BiNaRy LiFeFoRm: I agree with many other reviews on here. Their prices on used gaming equipment are VERY high. When I visited on 2-15-23, I checked probably close to 50 different games and consoles and every single one was higher than eBay buy it now listings for the same items. Even retailers who don't get their stock donated and actually pay people for their old games beat the prices here. I get you guys help the community, but you would sell way more stuff if you had reasonable prices. I've seen things sit on the shelf here for months and not sell, over pricing things to the point they don't sell doesn't help anyone.The only reason you got 2 stars is because the non gaming items are reasonable price and quality.
