Derek is 3/3 on me. He doesn't miss. His approach is very mindful and present, he takes into account your body for what it is and doesn't tattoo you like it's just "a body". He will use a combination of colors, shading and weight (thickness/darkness of a line) to make sure your desired tattoo is visible at the right angles & distance and durable on your skin to the best of his ability. His line work is tight! It's been 5 or 6 years and I'm still asked if my tattoo is new. That's why I had to come on here and let y'all know Derek Crockett is the truth. He is also as human as they. So don't anticipate that he'll turn off his humanity and tattoo you like a tattoo robot but also trust that he won't ask you to be anything other than your full human self either. So be weird and/or set your boundaries, knowing that he is understanding and will be glad to know what makes you comfortable. Communicate at any point throughout the process and he will certainly do the same. He'll take great care of you and inform you of anything you're not sure about. Please don't assume anything until you ask, cause he will respond in ways that might renew your faith in people.
