Michaele Vestal: I recently had a huge 40+ year old Bradford Pear tree with many very big branches looming over the street and my and my neighbor's driveway. 3 of those branches fell, one doing damage to my neighbor's car...It had to go and Marc's Tree Service made quick work of it with their team and equipment. The area was left with not so much as one twig. As you can tell I was very happy with their work. Of the 3 bids I got, theirs was the best. I highly recommend this company. They did a fantastic job and cleaned everything up, stacked the wood, and blew off the deck. They were done in just a couple short hours (it was an enormously tall tree). Ben Hernandez: We've used Marc's Tree Service twice now. Several years ago they removed a dead tree, ground the stump and also cleaned out and pruned the dead limbs of a giant ash tree we had. A few weeks ago we hired them again to prune some dead limbs on 3 more giant trees in our backyard. Marc's Tree Services are a really good value. His crews are very professional and they also kept us informed at various times during the process. They even cleaned up some other logs and branches that I had in the backyard when they didn't have to. When it was all done they raked everything, cleaned up with a leaf blower, and even though they had to bring a bucket truck into our backyard you could hardly tell that a crew had been there at all! Great work! We'll definitely use them again!
Bret Taylor: I didn't use Marc's Tress Service, and that's why I cannot recommend them more highly.I had a row of 20 large trees along my back fence that looked to be dying and was fearing I'd be forking out $15k based on what others had told me. Marc came out and told me in fact that the trees were healthy and was just the normal way they look. For the one tree that split he gave me a reasonable quote for the work, but then told me "If I were you, I'd just leave it." (It was caught up on another branch and apparently was stuck securely and was still connected to the roots enough to keep growing)What kind of guy comes and tells you I don't need work done when I'm ready to write a big check!? I'll tell you who. An honest guy with integrity. Why can more people be like that? Doing the right thing and not just trying to make a buck.He let me know in 10 years I may need to get those trees removed (they'll be at the end of their life) and the estimated a quote a good bit less than what other guys who came by had told me.So while not a customer this time, I'm only making one call next time when I need some tree work done. Chris Nobili: Finally a professional tree service in Charlotte!Marc and his crew of 5 guys removed a very large (40 ft) cedar tree from my back yard. The tree was located right beside my house, over top of my AC units, and to complicate it further there was a large honey bee hive inside one of the high limbs.The entire crew arrived on time, with the latest equipment, and were very professional. Their equipment enabled them to perform the work very quickly and minimize the disruption to the surrounding ground. The cedar tree was removed within 2 hours and they left the back yard clean and completely free of any debris.I highly recommend Marc’s Tree Service and will definitely be using them in the future. Skipper Pond: Just had 6 trees cut down, and canopy lifted. Couldn't be more pleased. 3 of the trees were fairly small and I requested they be cut up for firewood. They placed them where I can easily access for splitting.All debris was hauled off from back yard. I have a natural area in front yard, so I requested they shoot the mulched limbs into that area.Overall, as I mentioned, couldn't be more pleased. I felt pricing was right.I'd recommend.

Our Arborist, Greg Keller provided multiple options for us to consider based on when best to trim certain trees based on the best season to cut or trim a species. Everything about the experience was positive. Greg from AAA did an initial walk-through and cost estimate sent to me in writing via email. On the day of the tree removal Greg arrived with a crew of 4 and did a thorough walk-through before the work began. All trees were felled and removed with skill and efficiency. Tali Zessi: I had previously submitted a 5 star review for these guys. Several months ago they really did a phenomenal job of taking down two huge trees for us. They were on time, polite and careful with our lawn. They dealt with some really difficult terrain to get them down. They cleaned up after themselves initially. So we were super impressed. We decided to leave the stumps until spring planting season.I've adjusted the review down recently due to the stump grinding we just had done this spring. They are currently unable to remove the grinding mulch/debris. This was clear in the estimate but I had planned to find a different provider and not go with them because of this. They came out anyway on one day when I wasn't home (I should have communicated to hold off while I got quotes from other companies but I didn't think they would just randomly come out after providing the estimate.) So they ground the stumps and spread it all out and now it is under under my shrubs and encroaching on my neighbors' driveway. I am left with a big mess and having a lot of trouble finding a contractor willing to come out and help with it.So I would recommend getting clarity on what will happen with stumps and mulch debris prior to service. Or just have these guys do the trees and find someone else to handle the stumps. I'm really in a bind now.

Although there was an accident; a tree limb fill onto the neighbor's vinyl fence, they took the time to order the correct part and came back to fix it. It took about 4 weeks because they have to order the correct part, but it was done correctly. Communication was no problem. The tree was done as specified. Price was reasonable. Alicia Reese: CLT Tree did an excellent job -- our tree had a dead tree which had grown out of it with limbs jeopardizing both street light lines and the roof. Barry responded quickly, assessed the issues and explained what needed to be done. His crew showed up when they said they would, removed the dangerous limbs and thoroughly cleaned up -- all in less than a day. I had 7 companies come give us quotes (half of which didn’t get back to us due to the complexity of the job) and he delivered way over our expectations. We had two 100ft trees removed that were 4 ft away from our house on a hill, with 100 ton crane, and our yard doesn’t even look like anything happened today. Bridgett Richardson: During the recent storm, a tree in my front yard split in half and needed to be removed. My husband called around and Tip Top Tree Service was the only company that answered the call and said they could come out the next day. Carson came by and we discussed removing both the damaged tree and another tree in our front yard and also grinding the stumps. He gave a quote that was very reasonable ($400) for both trees, so we decided to go with him. He came back the next morning ahead of schedule, which was perfect for us. He was extremely professional, cut down both trees quickly and efficiently. He cleaned up all debris that had fallen from the trees and ground up the stumps and roots so that we can plant new trees in the fall. He was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. We can't say enough how much we are impressed with the quality of work and customer service......outstanding!
