After recently moving to Charlotte I decided to take up violin lessons again, I'm a very novice beginner. Eric has been a wonderful instructor, and is enthusiastic about what he teaches. He's very good at explaining the nuances of why and how you do certain things while still helping with the "big picture". He is my third instructor and I finally feel like I'm learning a lot and learning it correctly.


Excellent instructor. You can tell that he is truly passionate about his craft. If you are looking for an energetic teacher that gets you excited about learning while still providing constructive feedback this is the guy to see.

My 7 year old daughter has been taking violin lessons with Eric for about 6 months now. I have really enjoyed seeing how she has progressed from knowing nothing about the violin to being able to play short songs that she knows. Most importantly, my daughter is excited every week to see "Mr. Eric." Violin lessons are a fun time for her. Even when her enthusiasm exceeds her ability to focus, Eric is very patient and we are steadily seeing the fruits of his teaching and her short daily practices. I would definitely recommend Eric to someone who has a young child interested in exploring the violin!

He is much better than former teacher 15-20 years ago. He is patient and I very much like the Suzuki method that he uses. I can sincerely recommend him to anyone. And I am 64 years old, so it's a little harder for me than a younger person. I do play other stringed instruments but they all have frets, which is quite different!

Eric is a wonderful teacher! As a beginner and a busy adult, I was intimidated by the idea of taking lessons while juggling the other responsibilities of life. While Eric is passionate about the instrument and an expert in his talent, he is also understanding and flexible. I am comfortable and I enjoy the lessons each week and the pace at which he teaches. Each week I feel challenged and inspired. I have a long way to go to even understand the basics but I am excited about the instrument, especially with Eric as my instructor. He gets my full recommendation!

Not only are our lesson rooms equipped for all lessons, our waiting room is great for parents and other family members waiting for lessons. Take advantage of our free Wi-Fi. And if you prefer, we have an open door policy for our lessons, you are always available to sit in on the lessons or watch through each rooms large window.

We offer our students the opportunity to participate in national piano federation festival competitions throughout the year. These are optional, but many of our students like to participate.

We hold recitals twice a year and our students love performing. We also have smaller community events that our students can participate in (invitation only). The recitals are optional for all students, but most students choose to perform. We keep our recitals festive and fun!

Our school is convenient and draws students from Ballantyne, Waxhaw, Weddington, Marvin, Pineville, Indian Land and the surrounding areas. We are easy to find on Ardrey Kell Rd, with shopping and restaurants close by (Blakeney, Rea Farms, Waverly)

We offer lessons 12 months a year. No need re-enroll each semester or year.

Our desire is to inspire our students with the love of music. We do this through teachers and music that our students love. Unlike other programs, we do not require semester minimums for lessons. You can begin anytime! To stop lessons, we just need a 14 day notice.

This is the best way to start music lessons. Families who have taken baby music classes make a smoother transition into individual lessons.


These lessons are specifically designed for children at the preschool level. Kids in these classes use the Bunny Ballads Book and have lots of fun hopping around in their lessons each week!


Students of these ages also meet for weekly lessons and group classes. We split into teams during group classes and to earn points for games.. even the parents get the chance to play violins in group class!
