Karissa Chaplinsky: We’ve been doing a number of home projects lately and our experience with Bella was the best interaction we’ve had, hands down. It started with a visit to their wallpaper show room- I had seen so many different patterns online and was feeling overwhelmed. Machele was wonderful and asked questions to get a feel for what types of designs I liked and then she was able to direct me to a handful of wallpaper books that she thought would be in line with my taste. Seeing the designs in-person was so much better than looking at images online. Bella ordered the wallpaper for me and once it arrived I hired them for the installation. Charles was the installer and was so polite and professional. We wallpapered an accent wall in our master bedroom as well as the ceiling of our powder room. The craftsmanship was perfect, price was very competitive, and I’m already daydreaming about getting more wallpaper throughout the house.

I can’t speak more highly about this store and it’s employees! I would never even consider going to another paint store. I had recently moved to Charlotte and needed to paint the interior/exterior of my new home. This was a very overwhelming task for me and everyone in this store was beyond helpful! Big Jeff, the master of paint color, is the most kind and talented man in the business! He assisted me with picking out every paint color I used in my home and would make custom colors as well. He even helped pick out my wood stains for my front door and hardwood floors. These guys also saved my tail from a disaster I had experienced with a contractor refinishing my hardwood floors. Johnni, the sales rep, met me at my home to overlook what was going on with this contractor and immediately put me in touch with someone else. I can not thank Johnni and Big Jeff more for everything they did for me during my first home renovation. The manager, Stuart, is also just as wonderful! Again, I can’t speak more highly about this store and everyone in it. I have never experienced customer service like this in any store/industry. Do yourself a favor and go see them!!!

Sarah Alfero: My husband and I are renovating our new house and had the daunting task of picking paint colors. If you’ve picked paint colors, you know how stressful it can be. Luckily, we met Jeff at this East Blvd location store and experienced the best customer service we’ve ever had! Jeff is extremely knowledgeable on all things paint and made the process very enjoyable. He explained how the colors are mixed and which ways they lean on the color scale and was very patient with all of our questions. 10/10 recommend this store and working with Jeff!

M McRae: Staff needs additional training. I have been purchasing the exact paint for years now for multiple rental properties. I attempted to buy the same formula from this location and they totally botched the paint even after we provided them the exact formula. We were told the “labels” change. This was not accurate because the paint obviously didn’t match. Had to make a seperate trip and the employees couldnt have seemed to care less for the inconvenience they caused. Guess what matched? The formula we provided. The employee didnt know how to recalculate the 1 gallon mixture from the 5 gallon and gave us wrong information.

Amy Vee: This will be my 2nd review on SW paint stores in the past week so that makes me seem either1) weird2) paid by SWNumber 1 might be true but…definitely not paid by SW. ok so here’s the thing. Customer service died in the pandemic. Truly. Most places have employees who are apathetic at best. Not this paint store I am happy to report!Hailey, the mgr is super helpful and she recommended not only what we needed but was super quick and efficient. And she’s very sweet and upbeat too. It’s so refreshing when someone is knowledgeable and friendly. Casey was also on the ball. The store was spotless, well stocked and organized. Many claps for this location! My project is almost done but I frequent paint stores a lot for my work and I’ll definitely be back to the Selwyn location!

Eric Cunningham: Not a very good customer experience.I accidently ordered online to.this location and had to.call because I never got a email confirmation which I saw as a red flag especially since the guy said your order came in overnight I laughed and said no it didn't I placed it this morning..The people at this location are not friendly at all they need some good customer service classes no good morning considering people spending money right now is a want not a need during a pandemic I would expect much better customer service like the one near ny house on pecan they are excellent.

Staff is very responsive, knowledgeable, patient with all of my questions and gives more of a personal touch without feeling like you are a number in a line and being left to fend for yourself. With a little luck and Eric’s genius detective skills, he was able to research and find the contractor who painted at my address. It gave the exact color and finish! Jason Pidgeon: Had a great experience today getting paint from Sherwin Williams in Plaza Midwood. I was a little apprehensive going in because I am a novice painter at best and wasn't really sure what finishes I needed. Jamichael was very patient with me and was a huge help in guiding me through picking out the proper paint for the rooms in my house. He was easy to talk to and put me at ease right away with his vast knowledge. Once I got checked out, Rad loaded up the paint and wheeled it out to my car. Jamichael and Rad are true professionals and deserve to be cheered! Thank you both.

Dee Lanier: I ordered online hoping to be able to do a swift pickup the same day, but it actually took two full days to process before I received notification that my paint was ready. I then went to the store and called in curbside pickup they could not find my order on record. When they did finally find it I had to wait an additional 15 minutes for them to mix the paint! If I would have known that would have been the process I would have simply driven to the store and walked in and had it mixed at the counter immediately.
