JG Collman: My husband and I have been renting from them for a month. So far, they by far, hands down, have been the easiest, quickest, nicest, & most reliable company we have EVER rented from! If you need something fixed, submit a work order and within 24 hours you will be contacted and someone will be sent out. Our fridge went out and all our food went bad. Within 24 hours of me telling them, they called me to let me know the landlord offered to cover the cost of my groceries that spoiled! If you're looking for a great company to rent from, that's reliable and trustworthy & does the things they're supposed to do as property managers, rent from them! I promise you won't be disappointed!

Kianna Hughes: My husband and I checked out Chason Ridge and Elvira was so nice! She answered all of our questions and was very respectful!
Evasia Evasia: I moved in on March 31st of 2023, the leasing office was very helpful with accommodating me in looking for an apartment prior to me moving in 3 weeks before, she had shown me an apartment she stated if I did decide to rent an apartment from there conplex it would look just like the one she had shown, she stated they are in the process of renovating she stated they just completed her renovations and they are very nice. The day of move in I walked in my apartment the bathrooms were not cleaned properly let along the kitchen was awful ! There was pest control glue all over the apartment, I contacted the leasing office to complain to them about the situation she did nothing she stated to just clean it myself, The next day I was going to unpack my kitchen and clean it there were dead bugs everywhere I even pulled my stove and oven there was bug powered thrown all behind the appliances. I contacted the leasing office yet again and complained I spoke with the property manager heather who was very rude she stated that they had a third party vendor cleaning company who comes on site to clean the buildings, which I did not believe one bit. She stated she would try to get in contact with there cleaning service to see if they could possibly come out to clean it. Fast forward it has been almost three months I haven’t heard anything from the leasing office. One day I went to check my mail, my mailbox key did not work ! Yet another inconvenience. I moved in on 3/31/23 they stated all units would have washer and dryers, mine didn’t have one, they stated they would be deliver on 5/5/23. On the day of delivery for the washer and dryer I tested out the washer it did not work and still does not work still to this day 5/23/23 they have sent maintenance out to fix the issue only one maintenance man has been helpful the other one is just pure lazy ! They even sent out a tech to fix the washer and yet it still doesn’t work. I’m have been very patient with this apartment complex but it is a pain living here.

T C: They have changed the parking arrangements. So instead of having one assigned parking space it's first come first serve. So if you have worked 10plus house like myself and your neighbors decide they want to park both of their vehicles close to the building or lord forbid they have company, then you have to walk a ways away just to get home. Not to mention the big hole I still have in my wall from them replacing the AC unit back in July.

I did a Online work order cuz I was told the online option works and I've been waiting 3 weeks or so for them to fix my work order and yet no one has come out. I even called after the 2 week mark... Nothing.. I am sorry but this is ridiculous...I don't know how else to explain my issue!!

Alex Izzy: Me and my wife stopped by there on 24 Sep 22. I was thinking if i should leave a feedback here. I read all feedbacks and I see a pattern. The management service is really horrible here. Not all of them. However , todays person was super unprofessional and rude. Started raising her voice for no reason. Didn’t want to help at all and was trying to find all excuses to just not to do her job. I am not even sure why that person even there if she does everything possible to not to do her job. Definitely, changed my mind to rent there after this attitude.
Stashi Merida: This may be lengthy but it’s mainly to help new residents. I would first like to thank Heather, she’s been so helpful when it came to our moving process she provided us all the information we needed and assisted us plenty of times when she was the only one in office and already spread out thin on her schedule. Heather has done so much for the community itself, personally seen her out protecting our geese who have been injured last few months. We were residents for a year and didn't want to move because we loved the nature and how close were to everything, I would walk to target with my baby it was so peaceful! but we’re a military family so it was bound to happen. Brianna has also been so kind and helpful. I would like to mention that when we first moved here we were in an apartment that had roaches when we asked the neighbors about it they said it was normal for the city, we aren’t from here so we were surprised to hear tenants say this. Needless to say we brought it up to misty from previous management and we were immediately moved to one with no bugs, made me think it was more of a previous tenant issue because we had no issues after, we would leave dirty dishes in the sink when we got busy and never seen a roach in the new apartment around our food or dishes. Another thing I want to mention is that new management has been more efficient when bringing up issues we have had about neighbors leaving this dog poo and leaving garbage around the dumpsters. Again I see the dumpsters being emptied regularly, the issue lies with rude neighbors who don’t bother themselves to throwing trash inside, I understand that they may get full over the weekend, but I have seen some people just throw it about even when dumpsters aren’t full. I had great neighbors by my apt they were quiet and we never had any issues with the dumpsters on our end, everyone seemed respectful, we had one noise issue which was quickly resolved. I always felt safe walking around the community at all times of day which is something I appreciate as well! I think this community would benefit greatly from cameras. I think the trees they cut down was quite unfortunate, it brought in a lot of warmth to the community, and shade!! But also loved the squirrels and birds they hosted, hopefully they plant new ones in their place. Definitely will miss this community and it’s trail and lake and I hope residents can come together to keep it a great community!
vitalie botezatu: The management at Chason Ridge is a complete joke. They will tell you one thing and then the corporate will do the exact opposite. All they want is your money. They charge for pest control, but the reality is that we had to fight the roaches on our own. A lot of tenants don't bother to put their trash in the dumpsters so it is really "nice" to walk by them. Same goes for dog owners, nobody seems to care. When we brought this up to the management, they asked for evidence. Really? There's evidence all over the grass areas. I don't recommend this place to anyone. Looking forward to that "unable to locate you in our system" reply.
Rozalyn Beal: My boyfriend and I applied for an apartment here, and we were denied because the employees do not check the dates on pay stubs. They refused to fix the issue, and told us to wait 30 days to reapply. My boyfriend gets paid weekly at Smithfield ($17.50 an hour) and we are trying to flee a domestic violence situation so this is very unfortunate. We talked on the phone with three different people and none were polite.
Paul Soldi: Go somewhere else.this is the most heartless management you could ever encounter. It is a business. They don't care about you or your needs. All they want is your money. There are better apartments out there. I am glad i found one.
robert Bruce: Have to give a shout out to Heather the Property manager. I was moving cross country from Nevada to North Carolina and the apartment that I had fell through at the last minute. She worked with me and I was able to secure an apartment at Chason Ridge until my House is ready. I tried other places but none was willing to work with me and help as much as Heather. I know being a Property manager can be a rough job, and she's doing a great job.

Allie Jackson: This place is a complete joke. We can start with the parking. What's the point of having numbered parking if no one is going to park in their assigned spots. My neighbor has his little friends parking in our spot all of the time or whoever spot they feel like parking in that day. Then they sit in the parking lot while "working on their cars" and blaring loud music. Also, is it really that hard to take up one parking spot? I guess who can blame them when all the number are faded and they did "asphalt work" but they only did parking lot at the front office so it look nice when you come to look at this horrible place and did patch work while everywhere else has huge cracks. Speaking of office. These people are the worse apartment office staff I have ever dealt with. The old manger was nice and listened to us while this one could care less what you have to say. Then whoever that woman is that sits at just the most random desk in the hallway is even worse. extremely disrespectful and will give you attitude. She blamed the residents and everyone else but the office for the problems. They also want to charge you a (and I quote from the email from the office today) "lease violation charge" for trash. What do they have people sitting there watching the residents to catch you and charge you a random fee that isn't stated in my lease so I don't have to pay? If they got that much free time then why did it take two weeks to complete my maintenance request?

And every time an issue has come up it's treated as "it is what it is."The price you pay isn't worth what you get quality wise to make up for how much you get scammed. The only silver lining is the location.*edit* While the beginning was rocky the last several months have definitely been an improvement.I've had several maintenance issues and they were taken care of the next day which I'm grateful for.

The place is nice, clean and modern, there are new washer and dryers, clean carpets, Cabinets, and no damages at all everything works well. The staff was very helpful specifically Ms Alicia. She explained everything well and was very responsive, any issues we had were fixed quickly and the process was stress free. She was also extremely professional every time we spoke with her and made sure we were comfortable with every decision we made. I definitely hope I can continue to work with her in the future , I give my 5 star rating to her!
Cory Caromano: Morganton place is trying to rebrand to be perceived as a luxury apartment complex after it was acquired by morgan properties ‘who also owns 2/3 of the apartments in Fayetteville) but the quality of the units and the management team doesn’t meet the criteria to be labeled as such.Renovations are in full swing and with the horrible project management comes the one thing I truly value about the property.. the maintenance team. They are professional, timely and most importantly, willing to fix the problems caused by managements ‘good ideas’ keep it up guys it’s not your fault you’re understaffed and overworkedThe property fails at the simple things like trash consolidation and collection. Trash and pet waste bins sit overflowing raising health concerns and safety issue.Units are being updated but as they remove carpet to save money with cheap linoleum away goes all sound dampening in the units. It’s truly remarkable how these walls are. I want to compare them to an Oreo thin and see what’s thicker but I digress.The dog park is embarrassing. It was already small when it was empty (even smaller when filled with dog waste that never gets picked up) and I was excited for renovations thinking they’d expand it out, but they added fixtures that shrunk the usable area so now medium and large breed dogs don’t have space to exercise without the hassle of.. I think it’s a doggy dinner table and a horse tie off post..with a tunnel connecting them..if you’re looking for similar pricing but better quality of life living get on the preserve oaks waitlist.———————28APR UPDATE————————Since the last review I’ve discussed a few things with the assistant property manager who I personally like better than the last one; however management still fails to fix key issues1. The dog park is unacceptable. The park poses significant health issues to humans and pets due to pet waste and management seems to have ZERO ability to resolve the issue. The fence is also still broken…2. After posting this review initially management decided to dig through my file to see if I was allowed a pet.. definitely felt like reprisal3. Other occupants in my building have voiced concerns about appliances being broken and left in disrepair. I personally haven’t had that problem but it’s been a common thread in discussion
Tain Tain: If you would like to live peacefully and quiet environment, Morganton Place Apartment is not the right place. The apartment wall is very thin and I can hear loud noises from the neighbors. The neighbors switch on loud music which can be heard all the time and very annoying. I can hear the people who live above me walking loudly /stamping the floor all day. I can hear loud nosies late night/in the middle of the night/ and early morning. The noises like music/ people moving the objects/shouting which disrupt my sleep. I escalated this issues to the management but still ongoing. The apartment is in the process of renovation. The plumbers came to my apartment to change faucets and did the bathroom weeks ago. When I got home, I found out that my house was in a mess. The job was done but the house was left in a mess. The water on the floors. The items are placed in the bedroom and made my house a mess.

arri winters: Worst apartment complex I have ever lived in and I would never suggest someone to live here for these top 5 reasons:10-15 parking spaces have been taken for a year+ by random crates.I’ve had three separate mold issues with my dishwasher, washer/dryer and bathroom sink.My apartment was so filthy upon move in there was black dust on the ceilings. A poorly fixed hole in the wall and two out of four doors didn’t even close fully.Maintenance will not notify you when they’re in your apartment (even if it’s not for a request you put in) and they will leave messes or ruin your belongings and management will just say there’s nothing they can do but apologize on their behalf. I had to buy security cameras just to feel comfortable.There are roaches, snakes, spiders, in and around the apartments. I’m so glad I move out soon but I’d be more surprised if they don’t scam me out of my security deposit, but the way they handle the tenants I will likely not receive it back. There are much cleaner places for a similar price.

Late at night between 9 PM to 4am I have complained several times to the office and it seems like they don’t want to do nothing believe the place that they present on the pictures do not look nothing like that Whatever you do do not come here they were have you locked in a contract if you do decide to leave with all of these complaints they still want you to be obligated to pay two months of rent when you leave It’s nothing but a scam. I wish somebody would have told us. Before we came.

When I went to talk to the office, they came and checked again. There is smell of mold in the master bedroom and cannot sleep in that room. I placed maintenance request to change the carpet for 2 weeks now. They totally neglect it. Although they equipped new dryer, my clothes do not dried with that. They said they will come and clean dryer's vent tomorrow. It is 3 weeks already. I sent email to the leasing office last week, and no one come and check for a week now.

These people take their sweet time with everything especially maintenance ive asked for them to come look at the crack in the ceiling in my laundry room and nobody has come yet this has been over a week and a half now. I will be keeping all these pictures incase they try and make me pay for any damages that this apartment came with! I moved in here and noticed how poor some of the areas were built especially the kitchen and the fact that my floor already had a chipped part in it. I have yet to see the property manager a day in my life which im pretty sure they do not care because if they did they would make sure people are not moving into something like this. Ill be glad when my lease is over next year. I will not be renewing my lease this was a learning experience since it is my first apartment so I definitely will not be playing with my next one.
Brittany Fortune: Do NOT LIVE HERE. When you move into an apartment your supposed to do a walk around with them or if you take over a lease, at least give them a heads up your taking full responsibility for everything. But no these people did not do that, I lived here for three years and I'm so glad I decided to leave. They charged me for what the last attendees did and while I was living there half of the stove worked, we had leaks in our dishwasher that made the kitchen smell like mold and they didn't do anything about it. Move to Landmark Apartments the last few days with them has been amazing compared to the last three years with these people.

samari green: i only recommend if ABSOLUTELY have nowhere else to go. i cant speak for everyone but they rent places out with bugs then say i didnt know it was bugs. so you tell me you own a home or apartment and dont know whats going on in it. then the landlord gave me fits about treating them. other than that , they respond to issues pretty fast

Always available when we needed something (which wasn't often since they take good care of their property!), even once on a holiday!Very polite. Rent price was amazing!!!!! Evie **: I lived here for little under a year (I terminated my lease early because I could not stand this place). The apartments were alright for the money we paid. The problem is the company. For example my move out date was on the 15th of the month, I went to pick up my remaining mail prior to the 15th and I noticed they took all my mail out of my mail box and did who knows what with it (it’s been two months and still no one can find my mail) and starting having the new residents use our mail box. Which is crazy because we still lived in the apartment. As of recently I noticed I have no received my security deposit back (I moved out 2 months ago) so I sent the managers an email, conveniently they were able to pull up a bill of all the things that “needed to be fixed”. It’s crazy how it took me reaching out for them to magically notify me of the “damages”.

Roblex2213: This apartment is overlooking the lake and this is a relaxing feelings. There is a kids playground and a well equipped fitness room for those who enjoy working out. The pool area has a wonderful view overlooking the lake and the apartment. The apartments are very clean and spacious and they have a reliable garbage disposal facility on the compound.

Things that were promised upon our move in day were never fixed during the entire year’s lease. I was constantly electricuted by the on/off switch in the master bedroom bathroom. After 4 months of BEGGING, they sent an electrician that removed the coverings to the outlets & let us know that the wiring inside of the walls are corroded & OLD - which is why we kept getting shocked. He also said that he would not be surprised if the complex burned down because of the corroded wiring. (He let us know our apartment was not the only one he had seen this way!) They also let a family go an entire month without heat, we learned from another tenant. They only mow the grass every 6 months. Trash is strowed everywhere on the property. Tenants throw furniture in the woods & the agency let's it stay this way. It's not a luxury apartment, like they try & charge you for. I'm paying the same thing now for a LUXURY APARTMENT. It's all a scam. The trash by the garbage is an automatic state code violation every week & stays that way. I confirmed this by submitting weekly photos to the state. Brick statue was hit by a car & is still leaning over. It looks very ghetto. By the way, don’t you dare trust them & put your rent in the office’s rent drop box, it will be STOLEN & you will be called a liar & expected to pay your rent over again; even with the Fayetteville Police tracing the money orders & having evidence of all the tenants money order’s from the drive box being stolen that month! The pool is NEVER maintained, even during the summertime. It also has a cover, yet it’s NEVER CLEANED or drained properly after the summertime. It looks like a cesspool year round. It’s disgusting & was so embarrassing. They don’t care about the conditions you have to live in. None of them would live like this, but refuse to fix anything or upkeep the apartment grounds. Please don't fall for the false advertisement.

Anthony Saavedra: Would recommend to anyone looking for a decent apartment complex. Great atmosphere
Usagi: I used to love this place because of Cheyenne but since she has left, I have come to realize why people move out so often. We have had so many issues with our AC and it’s incredibly difficult to get anyone to come fix it. It took MONTHS. They told me it "wasn't a priority". We now have water damage on our carpet from the HVAC. A year later and we still have constant issues with it. They usually tell us to turn it off for an hour and turn it back on. That doesn’t fix the problem. Our towel racks keep falling off the walls, the blinds are horrible quality and break. The floor in the kitchen was new but has chipped. We have water damage on our ceiling. Nails stick up out of the carpet and have cut my feet more than once. Another thing that is irritating is that I came to Hidden Creek partially due to the gated community. Unfortunately the gate is rarely working and has been that way since I moved in! It has been broken for months now and they claim it’s because “a car hit it”. Before that, they started only closing it during the night. Sometimes the trash compactor is not working so people have been piling up their trash. They give fines for leaving trash by the compactor when nobody can even throw trash out. We also get fined if our trash sits outside our door.The first year our rent was around $1000. This year it went up to $1350 and they increased our water bills. It’s not worth the price I’m paying.I will definitely not be renewing.
Armoni Johnson: My car was stolen 04/09/23. Called the emergency number and was sent straight to voicemail multiple times. Now thanks to them, I won’t hear anything back from the police department until 04/14/23. We (my husband and I) had the cops out here to the complex to investigate 5 minutes after my car was stolen. My case would’ve been underway if someone were here to take our call from the office.My husband and I have been putting orders in for almost 2 years now about the roof leaking and the A/C never working correctly. We have to keep putting money into it, just for both things to be fixed for only a week. Then it’s back to being broken.Just take your money elsewhere.Everything was great for the first 6 months we lived here.
Shawnee Chappell: Renter beware this place is not worth your money. I have nothing good to say about this place. The maintenance reuqest take to long to get fixed. Trash compactor breaks to often. Gate never works although you pay for a gated community. The apartments are very outdated. I couldnt wait untill our lease was up. We had horrible neighbors who were inconsiderate blasteing music all hours of the night. I reccomend you look for somewhere else to rent not here. I wish I would have taken the negative reviews into more consideration.

I appreciate you for arriving as quickly as you did, fixing the problem and for keeping my children and myself warm. You get five stars in my book.

Chandria Boykin: When I first moved it, I loved these apartments. Cheyenne and Nicole both made the process simple and always made me feel welcome at all times. I lived there for 16 months but decided to relocate. I cleaned my apartment and left everything up to par. I even received a letter in the mail that I would be receiving my security deposit back. Problem is, I moved out July 2022 and I still have NOT received my security deposit back. I have called about 15 times, spoke to someone about 6 times, and left 3 messages. I have been in contact with 4-5 different people and still…NOTHING. I keep getting the runaround and I was even asked if IIIII gave them my forwarding address AFTER I told them I received a letter at my address saying I would be refunded. I’ve been getting the runaround with no results. They said it could be because they switched systems but I don’t deem that excuse acceptable at this point. LUCKILY, I didn’t have to pay a 1-2 months rent as a deposit because I would be more than infuriated. This is NOT how you do business and I’m very disappointed. I guess I will never see that again!
Kaitlyn Berry: This place is a joke, I’ve been living here for more than three years and have always had my ESA with me throughout. I turned in her paperwork when I first moved in and was not asked about it until the SECOND lease renewal. At this point they have you go through a third party site, which is not listed in your lease agreement, which I might add and also it crosses out anything about having an ESA. The third party site denied my dog and I have tried to be in contact with them, the regional manager and the VP of the leasing company; ALL HAVE BEEN NO HELP! They have my ESA letter and they’re doing nothing to help me on my end other than going through the third party site, they expect my healthcare providers to contact the third party site themselves. I am baffled beyond belief with the company with just trying to get money out of the individuals that don’t lie about having an pet because they need one. I won’t be renewing my lease here in the future.

Margaret Hawkins: I moved in a year ago. Ms. Nicole and Cheyenne were very welcoming and thorough. But since they left this place is the worst. I have complained several times about noise from my neighbor and no one seems to care when I report it. I was told to call the police. My dishwasher was broken and it took a month to get repaired. Maintenance does absolutely nothing but snoop in your house and steal and accuse you of breaking things in order to get paid. This is supposed to be a gated community! Well THATS A JOKE! It’s always broke, and you really aren’t safe. I’ve witnessed a shooting since I’ve been here and it seems for the money that they charge they would have security!!!! NOT! It states in the lease that there is a noise ordinance at 10:00, but that’s never enforced. Take it from me don’t move here!!! It’s all smoke and mirrors!!!
Coreen Dennis: I went there to confirm arrangements for a friend. Katelyn was very accommodating. We did a video conferencing and my friend was able to get all the needed information. I then took a look around. Grounds was well kept, residents were enjoying the pool, others were just chilling in the gazebo by the lake. I hope my friend will enjoy her apartment when she gets her.
degree downloading: Hidden Creek isn't worth the price they are charging for the place. The gates never work, mold are in the ceiling and you have to threaten to withhold money in order for them to come and fix it after a year. Hidden Creek isn't worth it. The noise ordinance isn't observed at the 10pm time and they don't care.
Brittany Berry: The leasing agent that moved me in was super sweet, but the apartment isn’t worth the price. The kitchen is outdated and the gate never works. They are also terrible with answering the phone.

I've made several complaints about my neighbor's noise level but nothing happens. My neighbors have zero respect for the people who live around them and I'm ready to go.
Zykayra Robinson: I’ve been here since 2020 and I have has nothing but a horrible experience. Maintenace SUCKS, i have had rain leaking from my ceiling for months and have been begging for them to come fix it becayse it was causing mold. After my dad threatened them they fixed it the same day by painting over it 🤦🏽‍♀️ I’ve had my dog paws scratched and punctured due to torn carpet and they took about 3 weeks to come fix it. The staff can be very rude and nonchalant to our needs. But when it’s something they want they threaten fines to get us to do it. Like replacing blinds, sitting trash out for 5 min, etc. My smoke alarm batteries were dead throughout the whole house And i was told that it wasnt an “emergency” so it took me going every day for them to come finally replace TWO BATTERIES. It literally took the guy 3 minutes to replace. The staff worker told me that if it was an actual fire then of course it would be more of an emergency… hidden creek is very overpriced for the performance given here.

The front office staff are very friendly and attentive. It's always a pleasure to interact with them. The maintenance staff are very well mannered and easy to work with. If there is every a problem that occurs we know we can count on them being prompt. They pride there selves in keeping a clean and well maintained property. The location makes going anywhere in town super convenient and is very close to Fort Bragg. I visit the front office with my dog daily to get a treat. The staff Cortney, Jen, McKenzie, and Ally are super nice and helpful whenever I need help with something. The maintenance guys are very cool and are always fast to get things fixed and I always see them working on the property. The crew also puts on events that are fun, and also bring food trucks to the complex.The amenities are nice and make for a convenient living experience.Really nothing bad to say, but will change my review if anything major changes!
