Harley Smith: Such a wonderful experience! Loved the ability to self guid through all the different sections at our own pace, and the gentleman who was working that day was so kind and patient with answering all my questions! (I'm a history major and had a lot lol) they have an elevator and handicap accessible bathroom which helped too as not only was I 5 months pregnant at the time but I also have a heart condition that would have made taking the stairs a bit difficult. Definitely plan on going back again to support them and to see new exhibits as they come through!
Lionheart Glassworks: Free Entry... It's really neat. There are so many neat things to see. There's two buildings and one has an upstairs. Harley Smith: Such a great experience! We had such a great time with the guided tour, we happened to be the only ones there the day/time we chose to go so we had a wonderful one on one experience with the tour guide that helped us that day. (Really wish I could remember her name, but all the staff was so kind!) Such a gorgeous home with such a rich history. The gift shop was great too, picked up a new book! But they also have toys, candies, and the works. Would definitely recommend, especially for littles, as they have a monthly history bag activity!
V Mars: Very interesting small museum giving a nice understanding of the history of the area. In addition, we had a lovely tour guide (she is from Texas) when walking through the 1897 Poe House who gave fun tidbits about Lily Poe the last resident of the house.Visited on Weekend Wait time No wait Reservation recommended No Price for adult entry Free …More

J Hartmi: Nice easy tour. Friendly tour guide
Heidi Thomas: Tour guide was very informative and the exhibits we're very educational. I was very pleased.
Bretton Little: I used to volunteer here and it is a treasure of Fayetteville. You can take a guided tour through the museum or just walk through by yourself for free. The exhibits give true insight into Civil War history in Fayetteville and how the Fayetteville Observer building was burned down. They also give information about what was traded here and what goods were made here as well as pioneer life. It was a hard life but they made it work. The arsenal that was taken by Sherman is memorialized across the highway and the Poe House gives an idea of how a home in 1800s was managed.
