From the moment I stepped foot into the store, I was met with incompetence, rude behavior, and a complete lack of professionalism.First off, the store was a complete mess. It looked like a tornado had gone through the aisles, with products strewn everywhere. It was nearly impossible to find anything in that chaotic environment. The employees seemed completely indifferent to the state of the store and were too busy chatting amongst themselves to offer any assistance.Speaking of the employees, they were the epitome of unhelpfulness. When I asked for assistance in finding a specific item, I was met with blank stares and shrugged shoulders. It was as if they had no idea what they were even selling in their own store. When I persisted and asked for clarification, they responded with condescending remarks and an overall dismissive attitude. It was truly a customer service nightmare.To make matters worse, the products themselves were of abysmal quality. I purchased a backpack that started falling apart within a week of use. The stitching was haphazardly done, and the straps were so flimsy that they barely held up the weight of the bag. It was a complete waste of money and a clear reflection of the store's lack of quality control.And let's not forget the exorbitant prices! S.A.S. Military Surplus seems to believe they can charge a premium for their subpar products. I've seen better quality items at a fraction of the cost elsewhere. It's clear that they are trying to take advantage of customers who are looking for military surplus goods.Overall, my experience at S.A.S. Military Surplus on Yadkin Rd. was a complete disaster. The store is a disorganized mess, the employees are unhelpful and disrespectful, and the products are of laughable quality. Save yourself the headache and avoid this place at all costs. There are far better options out there for your military surplus needs. If there were negative stars to give, I would!

The gentleman at the front counter asked me if I needed help since I was there for 3 very specific items. Not only did he have all 3, but he knew exactly where each small item was and it only came out to be $40!!!! It would’ve been close to $200 if I didn’t come here. Asked about prices for other gear, lower than other shops on or off Yadkin! Huge selection in a small space.ETA - I stop by here when I can while going through Fayetteville, and my original review remains true. I came in looking for a specific item, John didn't have it and recommended another shop that might. I still ended up buying a few other things instead, some items to add to my vehicle and home first aid kits and a few things to include in my travel gear. Prices still can't be beat!

The owner sold me what i thought was the appropriate plate Carrier with a guarantee that if it was the incorrect model he would refund me with no issues. I spent $450. I returned with said Plate Carrier after CIF rejected it claiming that it was the wrong one. the owner flat out denied ever selling me the plate Carrier And that he did not remember me. Later in the conversation he decided that it's been too long and I can't return it. I pointed out the discrepancy and he decided to start getting upset upset with me because I pointed out the obvious and basically walked away and told me to jist leave and it was not his problem. Don't do business with this guy. he Is is a liar and will rip you off. Picture is gear he sold me.

Joe D: Place is a mess; and way overpriced. No negotiation, its either his way or the highway. His pat answer 'that's a good price'. Price isn't good when I can go down the street and get it for 20% less (which is what we did).
