The Ellington-White Contemporary Art Gallery: what do users think?
Brian Tyler: CHECK IT OUT! The E.W. Gallery is a wonderful cultural asset for the area. It's a small gallery with a large vision. There is always much to see and take in. Exhibits change every few weeks and vary greatly from highlighting works of a few juried local artists to presenting works from nationally known artists; or showcasing the best works from area students; some exhibits are based on a theme or specific media. I inevitably find the gallery's exhibits compelling; often informative; always thought-provoking -- always a rewarding experience. So, please, don't just drive by -- PARK AND TAKE A FEW MINUTES NOW TO CHECK OUT THE GALLERY.[note: E.W. is non-profit, fully dependent upon the community it serves. Please support it, and all our arts organizations, in whatever way you can. Thanks]

Lee Manning: Surprising little gem in downtown Fayetteville, the footprint is small but they make great use of the space and have regular rotations with various artists and expressions. Worth a visit because it's gorgeous and free!

They host classes in the studio.Warning! There is pottery, so please be careful with young children. You have the ability to purchase pieces directly from the artists.
Greg Trumpfheller: Beautifulnworks of art in a small, cozy setting. Open area and 5 or 6 studios that you can walk through and see/talk to artists as they work. Good place to see local talent.

City Center Gallery & Books: what do users think?
William Gothard: One of the finest small, independent bookstores that you will find. There is a great selection of used books of all genres. They have a convenient book credit program for dropping off books you have read. It is easy to apply credits for the purchase of other books. They are active participants in the downtown Fayetteville culture and revitalization. I highly recommend a visit. There is plenty of convenient parking across the street.
Carmen Drier: Found a classic and enjoyed browsing! Cute place with sweet staff.
Joseph Choate: Small but good selections of books
Erika Smith: The store isn't curated well. There were a few new books, but it mostly seemed like the got books from the free section of the library or goodwill. No new or exciting books.
hobbes04: The owner is the most adorable, wonderful woman you’ll ever have met. Very Good recommendations for my Valentines 💘 Sweetheart. She even 🎁 gift-wrapped for me!! I gave her huge tip for supplies.Amazing Gem in Fayetteville Downtown Must-See!!
Mark Conneway: Great place and great people downtown. Always something interesting in there. They sell a lot of local art as well as books. So much fun!
jack mchale: Found this amazing store on Google and took our first visit there today. Got some amazing books at a great price and a few little miscellaneous items also. Will most definitely return. Great range of books; Classics and originals over 100 years old all the way to modern brand new prints. My favorite store in Fayetteville so far 😁👍👍
Virginia Toland: Was able to order a book for my granddaughter's birthday and will be called next week to pick it up
Kai Llamas: Cute little shop. Very friendly people working here. Nice selection!
Sam Baker: books!
Rosemary Szynkowicz: Wonderful, funky, cool, used book store. Extremely reasonable prices.
Sabrena Robinson: Excellent staff and adorable gallery!
Arturo Pardo: cozy little place!
Kristi Howard: Tonight (11/14/20) I was walking downtown with two girlfriends after having dinner at Lake Gaston. We were passing by this bookstore, and my friend was saying goodbye to her kid on the telephone as we passed. The male owner, who I am familiar enough with to identify as such after many years in Fayetteville, stepped out the door and loudly asked my friend if she needed “psychological help”. When we all faltered and just stared at him he continued to talk to her about whether she needed mental health help until she told him that she has a masters in psychology, so no, she’s good, and we walked away still a little unsure of what exactly just happened.I’m not sure if he thought he was being funny, or if he himself is maybe suffering from some kind of mental problem or dementia, but his behavior was unacceptable regardless. Maybe they should keep him off the sidewalk, if he is going to harass pedestrians.
Joanna G: Friendly staff, nice music playing, plus quite an odd collection of books, never know what you will find when you go in. Love the local art they feature and the vintage books.
Bee K (Bee): Cute little bookshop with the nicest staff
Darcy Swartz: An adorable bookstore with a great selection of books in great condition!
Patricia Hershock: I love this quiet little book store. I always find a new selection when I stop in here. It is small but the book selection is good and you’re supporting small businesses. A must-see if you’re downtown and love books!
Christine Michaels: Got a perfect farewell gift here
Carol Scheib: I love to walk through this quaint bookstore. You never know what you will find here.
Ingrid P: Trendy store, great prices for books, owner is quite nice and had a great conversation with her about Fayetteville history

Lodestone Art & Antiques: what do users think?
David Burrows: Very pricey
Patrick G: Nice selection, friendly staff
Robert Wilson: This is a great antique store with lots of neat finds. There are some collectables as well. It's a nice mix.
Taylor Hedrick: I loved this place! I had never been but my boyfriend told me I should check it out. They had so many neat items and a lot of one-of-a-kind thing. They had a whole little Christmas section of working collectibles that was so neat. I’d love to come back again when I have more to spare. Also, I was standing there thinking how amazing the shop was and how many beautiful pieces when our walks a bully in a blue sweater. I melted! I noticed a second dog off in another room. Any place that friendly and family-like is a 5 star in my book. Definitely not somewhere I’d go alone though, cause I’d never leave.
Mara: Very knowledgeable and friendly owner, always helpful, store has nice variety of antiques. I have found some hard to find items here and consider this one of the gems of downtown Fayetteville.
terry miller: Just stopped in to ask a few questions about an item I own and the owner went out of her way to help, even without making a sale. If I were buying and not attempting to sell, she'd get my business.
Brett Callahan: Good quality and diversity of jewelry and antiques, and the hostess is a woman passionate about antiqueing. Good place all around.
Joe Walker: Owner was extremely cheerful and welcoming!!! Not to mention the items where fairly priced and well displayed
Aimee Collins: I love this place. I've been visiting ever since 2010. The owners are some of the kindest people I've met. I always enjoy when I come in to look around, you see really interesting things and sometimes you walk out with something you didn't think you needed.
David Mitchell: You meet the nicest people in there and a great variety of items.
Shahari Pierce: One of the best Antique stores I have been to! It is very well put together. There are so many different items to choose from. A large selection of dolls, and gorgeous imported dinnerware. They also have protective and precious stones as well as sage, and dream catchers if you are into that. You will want to spend time looking around, so make sure you aren't in a rush when you plan to visit.
Miguel Flores: The best car builder there is. Class A+ work.
Roger Deon: Tremendous customer service.
