The part came in 6 days, then my car was fixed. Took about an hour for the technician to put a new lower front bumper on. I am soo happy with the results:)

Tionna Mitchell: Ok so my car got dropped off on a Thursday, they told us it would take 3-5 business days for it to be done. Next Wednesday comes, he tells us it will be done Thursday. Thursday comes, he said it will for sure be done by Friday, and assured my parents and I that it would be done by lunchtime for sure since I had events that weekend. He said "If it isn't done by today (Thursday) it will for sure be done by lunchtime Friday." And then Friday came and my car was still not finished. Now it is Monday and we still have not heard anything back about my car. If you aren't sure when a service is going to be done, don't lie and tell us it will be done for sure. That's false advertisement. I get it you have a business to run and sales to make, but as a college student who is out of town often and relies on my car for work, school, and travelling to events in other cities/states, it's irresponsible on your end to continuously lie and say something will be done when you're either not sure or know it won't be. Very unlikely I will come back if your whole business model is set up to lie to people to take their money, no matter how good of a job you do. So you get a 2. The end result (from what I am assuming based on what my dad told me) was fine, but I hate being lied to especially when I need my car to make money and etc.Service:Painting

Very friendly people. The 2 guys at the front desk Otis & I forgot the other guys name. Otis helped me & the other guy gave me my estimate. Good & great place !!
Quincy Jones: Horrible turn around time. Dropped my car off to be painted and have bumper replaced, was told 2-3 weeks for work to be complete. Week 3 car hasn’t moved from the spot I dropped it off in. Going on a month now and they’re still telling me they might be done next week. Won’t ever in my life go there again I don’t care if they painting cars for $20.Got my vehicle back from them after a month and the front bumper was painted with the worst paint job I ever seen in my life, it had soo many bubbles in it, it was like a connect the dots puzzle. Then when I called the manager they gone try to tell me that was a brand new bumper🤷♂️🤷♂️

Diamond C: Overall for the price you can't beat it if you want something quick and inexpensive. This is my second time using maaco. They finished my car super fast! The initial person I got the quote from was nice and helpful & patient while I was trying to find the perfect color using the swatch cards.The only issues I have is that they broke my license plate light, you do sign a form stating that "parts or pieces may be damaged during the painting process" but still... luckily it's not nothing big just sucks because it wasn't broken before so you'd think they'd do something or offer something for breaking your fully functional items but NO.And the fact that nobody called me when my vehicle was actually ready. No matter if they didn't keep it longer than they said they would if they were finished they should have called like they said they would when I verified my phone number with them.Overall satisfied with my paint job, no signs of old color and no issues with the paint job itself so far. I'd also go with extra coat of gloss if you like it really glossy.I would recommend them but I'd recommend you call them after 4-5 days just to check on your car, especially if you pass by and see it sitting to the side.
sarah owens: picked up the car Friday afternoon around 450 after picking up the car smelled a burning smell and when I inspected the car deeper I’ve noticed that the bumper bar applique is not connected to the grille properly as it was before the crash there is space and between the space I can see and smell black glue I also noticed a a broken piece was that I assume goes to the inside of the hood plate that connects the bumper it has charger written across it and it seem to be missing some pins which is odd because they should have ordered them new not sure if they reused old parts is that why the bar isn’t fitting …that bar was bent in at the same spot as the space with the glue. They are closed till Monday so I’m writing this reviewUpdate: they repaired the bumper and broken parts but unfortunately my car looks worst than it did before there’s a big gap between my hood and bumper looks horrible the manger claims that’s just what chargers do but it wasn’t that way on the first repair

Alex Jacobs: I had projections head lights assembly installed at another place " Banging Systems " . They were not installed correctly nor aimed correct. I called ECC they told me to come in and wouldn't charge me anytime to look at them .The lady at the desk was very polite very good customer service. She asked one of guys from shop to look at them he aimed them best he could in the parking lot.Told he to bring my car back he would have to remove the bumper to install them correctly and would work something out. Then didn't charge me for what he had done .That is very rare when I have any other work done I will be going to them . Great customer service goes a long way.Thank you.Avoid Banging Systems!!!!! for any type of installation .I took it back to them said nothing else they can do as I pointed out they left one bolt off left head light assembly. You could just put Head lamp out from the car. I also had factory amp installed / replaced in my car . Banging System only put one bolt holding it down and didn't put one bolt I center console. You could just till It over. Took all day for poor quality work. Just Giving a heads up. Beware .

Thank you so much, Mr. Dale! 💯 (January 2023)Update (May 20): I posted the review last January. I went back last April to get rid off some peeling of the clear coat(?) I supposed. It was fixed after a day or 2. However, after a month, peeling starts again. Tiny bubbles start to appear too. He is very nice though for still trying to fix my car several times and actually gave my money back after few attempts to get the right paint back in January…Update 2: The issue was brought to his attention (dated May 26). Dale’s Body Shop took care of it like what they always do.

Dale replaced my ENTIRE front end, My vehicle was involved in an accident with a deer, I was so impressed with the work and professional service I received I actually cried when I picked my car up. Naailah Ali: I don’t usually have the patience to leave reviews but I called this man on a Monday asking if he could install a spoiler on my car and he said “yeah call back Friday and I’ll see if I can do it Saturday”. I call Friday and he tells me to bring it Saturday morning. I drop my car off at 10am and he says “it’ll take a couple hours but it’ll be done today”. EIGHT hours later it is still not done, I’m outside calling the shop (with no answer of course) and waiting, this dude pulls up (he wasn’t even at the shop to begin with) and he says it’s not done and he’ll do it another day. I’ll get it done somewhere else. Thank you for wasting my entire day.

I'm not even going to give an account of the incident that occurred, just know the owner exhibited behavior that is not conducive of being a black business owner. Or one that has the mental capacity to work with the public. I will advise on the quality of work (or lack thereof) that was performed on my car, which was POOR! POOR!!! POOR!!!!!!!! I can see see poorly paint spots, part of the grill's material is not secured on properly, my alignment still pulls to the right and I don't even know if my wheel at impact side was checked properly because I still hear a noise that I discussed with the owner!!!I was not given a itemized receipt of all the work done by Dale's Paint & Body Shop. Couple of things I learned from this dreadful experience... 1) Get every word that the owner SAYS IN WRITING! 2) Get an ITEMIZED RECEIPT! 3) When the go low, YOU GO HIGH! If your business with this owner goes in an unfortunate direction, keep your character and continue to fight the good fight. However if you handle business in the same manner as this owner does, all I can say is energy matches energy... Have your way...

I do not recommend for dishonesty, poor performance, and poor quality of work. My tailgate door has uneven gaps when closed due to poor workmanship. Overspray was left on the rear of my cab. Piss poor business. O.....did I say liars?Based on your reply you think it was about winning a battle. Slander is based on a lie, not facts being shared.

If you want the super short version--they do great work, but this shop also handles insurance cars, so they could be busy when you drop by. Don't hold that against them, it's worth the wait. Their shop is located on Bragg Blvd right next to AAMCO, I drove past there for years and didn't realize they were there until I was looking for a car painter, so if you didn't know about this shop you're not alone. They do good work so give them your business!So first thing you need to know--every review says LA is awesome, and she is. I met Dale too when I picked the car up, they're friendly and welcoming and they show that they genuinely appreciate your business.What I wanted was to get my 2000 Camaro Z28 re-painted (not in an accident, it was just time for a fresh coat of paint). When I dropped the car off we had to look it over fast because it was bitterly cold and very windy, and we did miss a big dent in the very front--no big deal, it didn't cost that much more to fix, but my recommendation is pick a day with good weather to drop your car off so you can take your time.It took a couple of weeks for them to do the actual work, both because they had some insurance cars come in and because it was horrifically rainy for a solid week, but LA was very patient with my repeated calls to check in during that time.Obviously I'm thrilled with the quality of the paint job (for which they do offer a warranty), but I was surprised to find that they also carefully washed the car and even detailed the front driver and passenger seats. When I picked up the car, it looked great, the outside was shinier than I've seen it pretty much since the day I bought it, and the inside was clean too. Dale was busy with several other cars but he still took a minute to come say hello; it was obvious to me he takes pride in his work, and if my experience is typical he absolutely should.I didn't realize until I was actually in the office to pay that they also do interior detail work, so I'll definitely be taking this car (and probably my other car as well) to let them clean the interior. Not only did the crew at the shop repair the air conditioning system, but also aligned and repaired the front bumper at no cost. Louis Caniac: Great work! They pay attention to detail. They have found things loose that had been repaired by a different body shop. The first thing I was asked was had the fender been repaired before. He could see the work that had been done.
Kawaii Devil Chuu: Not professional, punctual, and haven't done a quality job twice in a row. Car panels had one gap in between them. When we got it back there were in total three gaps in different areas of the driver's panels near the hood, headlights and wheel. Hopefully third time is a charm on this body work.
Jerry Hall: Not good. I took my vehicle their for repair. Something happen while it was in their shop. Now it has a terrible SMELL. They gave us several reasons why it was my fault. I'm not dumb, car smell fine before it went there, now it has a terrible smell. No problem, I'm not going to argue with them for days. I'm going to trade it in on a new car. But I will never go there again. Something happen to that car and they can smell it as good as I can.
leesa davis: My son was involved in a motorcycle accident and is in the hospital in a coma. The bike and his cell phone (that was taken from his belongings at the hospital and returned to the scene for some reason) was taken to this establishment. Upon contacting the owner, explaining the circumstances and offering to provide a copy of his ID and proof of ownership, I am being told that they need a note from him to retrieve his belongings.. knowing that isn't possible. The balance to date to retrieve everything at this point is $490..+$35 A DAY until he can give permission (or I can bring a death certificate).. UNBELIEVEABLE LACK OF COMPASSION!!!
Dakotah Thomas: Everytime I think about this shop it gets me down. Dale and his wife worked with us so much! My car was said to be repairable by the insurance and after months of hard work it was over the damage amount and it turns out they should have totalled it out. I loved my Ford Escape so much but there was no way we could come up with enough to finish the repairs. Dale and his wife were so humble with us no matter how frustrated they were with the situation they still understood. I would recommend this shop to anyone! Nick Ramirez: They did excellent work repairing body and window damage on my Kia Forte. Would have given 5 stars but I had to call a few times for updates. I was paying for my own rental and needed a confirmed completion date. Tape and other repair items were also left in/on my car which I found a day later.At the end of the day my car ended up being repaired and completed within a week which is what they quoted.
Ursula Bell: 5 days after buying my BRAND NEW CAR I hit a raccoon and split the front bumper. :( I hadn't even gone through the first tank of gas. I swear you can't make this stuff up. Terribly disappointing. Owner (only one who can write estimates) was unavailable. For days. Receptionist/gate keeper gives off jealous wife vibes, responded to his emails with low key shade when asking follow up questions. Estimate (from pics) was more than DOUBLE (no bs) 2 others I received. So if you’re looking for work, definitely shop around. And if you’re a woman, send a man bc the gate keeper will not be helpful. The work they do is amazing and whether your car is worth $500.00 or $500,000.00 Rob and his staff treat it like it’s priceless and when they are done you will feel like you did the day you first bought it and drove it off the lot.
