Very nice atmosphere, I could feel God's presence during the worship service. All the people were friendly and welcoming. Lafayette Baptist Church: what do users think?
Jeanie Dull: The people are warm and friendly. You just feel like it's home, so welcoming for Jesus is there.
Dewayne Chapman: My opinion is probably a little biased being that my family has attended this church for generations but there is a reason for that. The people are loving, excepting, understanding, and God loving. I hope you can give Lafayette a visit some time and perhaps find church you can call your own. Either way, if your visiting once or attending for generations everyone is welcome in the house God.
Freddy Black: A truly great church of friendly people who are always happy to see you.
Melissa Taylor: My husband and I joined before we got married. The former pastor of our church Pastor Ron married us last year. We received so much help from differ people in the church for the wedding. Hard to believe it has been almost a year already!
Alysia Huggins: the people are so welcoming! been there for several years now!
ItzM Gn: Went to watch my son and EVERYONE was so friendly and inviting
Khristy Worthington: Traditional southern baptist. Pastor is amazing. The music is great. And their choir is off the chain.
Sybil the Clown 919 291 5676: Nice
Donna Jones: Haven't been in the church

Berean Baptist Church: what do users think?
J stanma: Absolutely love this church. Great children's program. Incredibly bible focused and willing to teach truth while backing everything up with scripture. These are some of the most loving people I have ever met. We looked for a church for ages before finally trying Berean and immediately felt like we were home.
Abigail Pendragon: A rude, judgmental, and hateful cluster of bible beating folks. What a way to turn away teens and children from the good Lord. The way you preach is the way you teach, and you're teaching teenagers that Christians are scornful and leave no room for patience, compassion and loving attitudes. Our generation is already very anti Christian and you're playing a part in it for multiple reasons, but from my experience that I've seen, #1 your community look scornfully at teens or basically anyone who wear jeans and t-shirt's because they cant afford the suits and dresses that YALL can.( News flash, God doesn't send people to heaven based off their clothing )#2 You use hate speech to shame non believers or those whom have doubts or live out a different lifestyle than you ( Another news flash, healthy people don't go to the doctor, so if you turn away those who go to church simply because they're different, you're leaving the sick to suffer and most importantly, you're leading them to hell.Mega news flash, you don't have to be rich, "perfect", "pretty", wear certain clothes, talk in certain manners, live out strict lifestyles or blast out politics to be a follower of Christ. This is all coming from a Teenage conservative.I will be praying for yall. Have a blessed day.
Acelynn K: I've got a lot to say about this church. It is Spiteful. I am sixteen years old and have been in the church my whole life and am a devout Christian and have been to many churches, and never in my life have I encountered such a hateful community. My parents told me we would not be going here due to child abuse allegations ( I don't care under what circumstances, "cracking" your child for any display of "sensitive" behavior is wrong ) and stories we've heard from friends of the judgmental staff and members. Well, a few months ago I went to a lock in event that was held here, and let me tell you, I now fully understand why my parents never wanted me here. The man speaking literally fat shamed someone ( who was only a size bigger than him, mind you ) This church is the exact reason the term "There is no hate like Christian love" exists. Yall give the Christian community a horrible look. We are to be kind, loving, gentle, not petty, hateful, and judgmental. And after seeing the owner's petty and unprofessional responses to "bad" reviews, I can 100% say that my family will never be attending another service or event and I will be sure to direct my friends to other friendlier community. There is nothing God like about hate and judgement. Even if you're just trying to be truthful, your execution of passages, statements, sermons will continue to push away generations to come.
James Beach: Great
Max: Great church and very welcoming.Great sermons and nice environment. The first Baptist church I have visited and I felt very comfortable.
Thomas M: Great church and very welcoming. Fantastic analysis of the Bible and encourages thinking. Do not be wary of the negative reviews- we had a positive experience and are sad to leave the church as a result of leaving the area.
Nikki Dorman: I’ve been going to this church for a few months now and it has been the highlight of my week. Dr Boyd’s bible study is quite honestly great. This church is very by the book and the pastor Sean is very passionate about scripture. So far they have been going over a few chapters in the Bible a week and breaking it down to help everyone understand the message and referencing other parts in the Bible to tie the old and new testament together. I can’t wait to take my daughter to this church in a few weeks.
Adam Charney: I thought of joining this church, but after fake "Christian" wannabe poser Sean Harris said I should hurt my son if he acts "girlish", I decided to join a Satanic cult instead.
Jim Mangrum: Heard Pastor Sean Harris talking about cracking a male child's wrist for acting girlish. How refreshing to see a far right christian speak of abusing a child.
Maranda Coleman: Saw a video online from a sermon endorsing child abuse towards children acting sensitively. Never been personally but wouldn't want to after hearing that.
robert: This church / cult has mastered the art of idolatry. There's nothing they worship more than the "word of God" ( written by people). If they could only think for themselves without the cult leader and switch over to a respect for the Christ. And focus on his message and leave the contradictory destructive idolatry out of it . Next step for them is to cover a bible in gold and bow down to it.
Norma Tyler: Called this church today. A young lady by the name of Ashley hung up on me. Who does this at a church? I wanted to know if this church had a school. I called back to ask why she hung up on me and the answering machine picked up. This was clearly no mistake. Rude people. If they have her answering the phone she represents the church. Very rude church.
Grace Edens: Super friendly church that is extremely Bible based!
Daniel Wardlow: The children’s ministry cares for your children. The elders care about your soul. Get involved and welcome home. Sound doctrine for teaching and reproof.
Rachel Carter: Thankful for this church and the Pastors. My husband and I were fortunate to attend for 6 years, we learned so much because of how dedicated the Pastors were to studying and preaching the Word of God. This is a wonderful Church to join, especially if your looking for a body of believers who are more like family. I’m great full we can still listen to their sermons online!
Katie McDonald: The curriculum they use is a bit outdated, but well structured. It obviously works for many children, but it wasn't a good match for my child. The discipline is what I had an issue with. My son was diagnosed with autism and adhd... the school staff had no idea how to handle his behavior. They made him sit outside the principles office for half of the day on multiple occasions, missing out on instruction ( that I was paying for). One time they called me to come up to the school and spank my 1st grader with a paddle they provided... all for not staying perfectly in line while walking to the bathroom and touching another child's desk while walking up to the front of the classroom (HE WAS 6 YEARS OLD!) If your child is very obedient and loves no nonsense teaching, then this place is for you. If your child is more of a free spirit or has any sort of behavioral diagnosis, think twice before giving this school your money.
J L: If you want to hear and learn truth from the word of God, Berean is the place to go. Phenomenal pastor.
Tim Rafferty: Cult Like - negative to outsiders !
Melva Melendez: I visited Berean about 4 times after arriving to Fort Bragg to stay with my Army son. I consider myself fairly knowledgeable about the Bible. When I came to Berean I was delighted to find that this church teaches the bible in a depth that I would consider "university-level." The regular Sunday service was packed with scriptures. It was fast-paced and I could barely keep up with taking notes but it was also refreshing and stimulating.Other churches I have visited use a few unrelated sample scriptures to support their message to their audience. At Berean I left feeling that I had truly learned more of what Bible says.I was amazed that the senior pastor seems so aware of what is going on in the lives of the congregation - he called several out by name to encourage or alert their situation for prayer.Sadly I have not returned. While I found the teaching style to be loudly passionate and uncompromising, my son called it angry and intolerant. The senior pastor is former Army so I thought my son would feel a connection but that was not the case. My son is accustomed to churches with a few contemporary uplifting songs, a short encouraging message, and a quick departure with no commitments.I visited on some Sundays with my preschoolers and first-grader. The children enjoyed their classes, although I was surprised to see that the first-graders sat to learn in rows of chairs like adults rather than a game room with lights and loud music, as I am used to.Overall the regular people were politely-friendly but in all the times I went no one went out of their way to approach me and get to know me. I don't know if it was because I am Hispanic and not white, or even black. Even so, someday I would like to come to their Sunday School.
Andrew Mosley: I grew up in this church, and things have only changed for the better. True bible based and God glorifying teaching is taught here. My wife and I will be staying and praising God here for the foreseeable future.
Calista Smith: Berean Baptist Church is a wonderful church. My husband comes in jeans and a polo nearly every week and has always been welcome. The pastor is a favorite of the little ones and I am impressed how he remembers the names of so many people including guests. The child care is AMAZING! This is definitely a place for families!
