Frantz Malvo: The student barbers at OSA are talented and the instructor is gifted at teaching these future barbers. The level of talent that Mr. Ethan Collins has, supersedes the price of the modern haircut experience. From the hot towels facials, to the feeling of Alcohol rub after a fresh line up. My cut experience took me to another level of confidence. This feeling just hit different. The price for a cut OSA is GREAT for a top of the line cut! I recommend for anyone who is looking for a barber or if your regular barber isn’t available, please hit up OSA! These students are waiting and willing to give you a experience that won’t disappoint.

Kellie R: Spoke with one of the student stylists via FB where she was looking for clients. I explained what I wanted to have done and asked if she had availability that week because I was going to be going out of town for work the following week for a few weeks. She said she did not but that her friend at the school had availability and she could link us together so I could get scheduled that week. Spoke to her friend told her what I wanted and asked for a price quote. She had me send pics of my hair and then 19 hours later she sends me the quote. I ask her when can we schedule that I am available any day and time this week. She says she has nothing available this week. What a waste of my time and energy. She says you can call school and just get in with anyone. What was the purpose of wasting my time knowing I was only available this week. Very unprofessional. If this is how they are going to treat clients while in school Lord help their clients when they are working in the real world.
Mz Alysha: Came in this location with my cousin for the first time & walked in & nobody greeted or said hello to us. She wanted finger coils & they lady said they didn’t do that. Idk if it’s because we were Black OR she didn’t want to talk. Either way she gave us a nonchalant look & the front desk was ignoring us. In my opinion screw them, I know it’s because we were Black & not Becky or Samantha..This is the world we’re living in🤬🙅🏽♀️
Jaleia Oatman: my stylist is lynnia! She will be my stylist from now, this was my first time coming to paul mitchell for a blow out/silk press. She did amazing, she gave me a great experience hands down. I got my hair done Thursday morning and got out in a reasonable time. Today is Saturday and it looks like I just got it done still ( I wrap my hair at night securely since I got it done). She made sure i liked my hair and all, definitely my stylist from here on out ❤️❤️

Ladaia Mobley: I went there at 1 and didnt leave until 7:00. All I did was get my hair lightened and dyed. And it took 7 hrs. Within that time frame I should have been able to get hair :bleached, dyed, blow dryed, straightened, trimmed, etc. And that would've took 4 hrs. I did get the color I wanted, but the time efficiency is lacking completely. I know they're students, but... They were very very nice though. If you're don't have all day, don't go. And if you're black make sure you find someone who know how to handle your type of hair.

Deborah Lynn: Cara Beth was my hairdresser. Samantha and Hannah are on the last week of their CORE classes and as such, "shadowed" Cara Beth. This was a great experience. Each of the 3 ladies are committed to their choice of career. It goes further than that though. Each of them are committed to seeing that any they serve receive the best service possible. Each of them are very knowledgeable about hair care, etc. I asked some questions to which I knew the answer. So did they. Then, I asked some questions to which I didn't know the answer. They did. How much I appreciated them. AND, my hair looks great also.
Arey M: I went in to get my hair trimmed and lighten. My hairstylist Amber was very professional and super sweet! She let me know ahead of time what to expect and I completely understood. They are upcoming hairstylist and still learning new stuff everyday and I’m glad to say that I was part of her learning experience! I will most definitely be back to see her!!! Thank you to her instructors also for being super sweet and ambitious!
Kisha: I wasn’t really sure at first but being a previous student of a cosmetology school I know that the instructions the students receive and the instructors are usually pretty professional and I wasn’t wrong. I received a student that I knew wasn’t too sure of what to do once I sat in the chair but I showed her a picture and she consulted with her instructor throughout the process but I feel like she executed the cut well. She was very professional as well as the instructors. I would definitely return. Thanks for a great experience!👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Neja Johnson: I came her for a cut, dye, and style. I left with just a trim and dye. I was there for over three hours hoping my hair would be done soon. Although my stylist was nice, she was just simply to slow.It shouldn't have taken over three hours to get a trim and dye job. I was even charged $56 for my hair being "done". It's the next day, and I scratched my head. There was still some dye in my head ! They didn't even tell me that there would be a additional charge for more dye. I should have been informed about the additional charge prior to the product being put into my head. I wouldn't recommend this establishment for a level 1 student if they aren't trained further prior to working on customers head
Thalita Rabb: Bad experience the young lady doing my hair wasn’t confident at all.She wasn’t sure how to shave my hair she barely shaved it. Ok I understand she’s learning I’m patient, so I just said never mind let’s move on. Next when she shampooed me she barely scratched my scalp ok I’m thinking well maybe 🤔 this is how they taught her. She only shampooed the top of my head, my hair is shaved on the sides & back she didn’t shampoo that part. When I sat back in the chair my head is dripping wet all on my neck she doesn’t offer a towel or anything so I’m still trying to be understanding & patient. When she rolls my hair the rods are extremely loose & she’s dipping the rods into a bowl with some mousse or something😫 I’m just like ok whatever at this point. I sit under the dryer for about 25 minutes she comes back to check to see if my hair is dry… nooooooo my hair isn’t dry I’m barely under the dryer… 😣so I go back under the dryer I’m thinking to myself this dryer isn’t hot… well she had it on medium🤦🏽♀️Omg 😳I turn it on hot. My appointment was at 10:30 am it’s 1:40 pm I just told her take the rollers out if it’s wet don’t even worry about it. I’ll make it work. Now this is just my experience 😏😟😩. I had such high hopes & was excited about coming to Paul Mitchell School but oh well🤷🏽♀️. Maybe someone else experience will be better than mine🤪🤩😆.

I went from a blonde to a Grey hair with tints of purple and she has done an amazing job. She will now be my one and only hair dresser. Paul Mitchel school has taught her well and I k ow she has a bright future ahead!!!!

FTCC has a very confusing website and trying to find information on courses, licenses, or certifications is impossible. The information, you can find, is in a .pdf. Why not provide the information, as a link, to better inform the public. The use, and institutional use of technology appears lagging when it comes to easily providing information to the public.
