Mary Jones: The two stars are mainly for the price. I used to pay $55 for a blow out and most recently I was charged $90 for one. They claim it’s because of the texture of my hair but it doesn’t explain how I was paying $55 all those other times.

That makes more sense than saying u don’t take customers after 430pm I have had appts there plenty of times after work n I was told to still come after I called to make sure it was still ok. I asked for Marilyn but she was not there I’m sure things would have been handled differently

Latrece Battle: My mom, my daughter, and I were all here to get our hair done. I came often because I love Ms. Marilyn and their blowouts. The stylist “Ty” was washing my daughter’s hair (10 y/o at the time). My daughter suddenly yelled out “Don’t hit me”. I jumped up and asked my daughter did “Ty” hit her, she said yes on the side of her head. I asked Ty did she hit her and she nodded yes, apologetically and stated it was because my daughter wouldn’t move her head completely back. Ms. Marilyn intervened and took “Ty” to the back to get her account of what happened. When Ms. Marilyn returned to me, she dumbed down the entire incident and said it was an accident and suggested we did not leave, but instead get our hair finished by her, herself. There was no resolution. She wouldn’t listen to me or my daughter and kept trying to assure us that it was an accident, which was saddening to me because “Ty” told me herself that she did it and apologized. We were still charged full price at the end. Although I was a long time customer, I haven’t been back since. I understand protecting your brand and employees, but wrong is wrong.Service:Hairstyling

I didn't like that there were not a lot of options for different types of massage. I had Helen and she did a good job on hitting some spots that were bothering me. My wife's had an experience that was quite the contrary. The woman that did her massge didn't get any of her trouble areas. She explained that a lot of the pain was in the back region but the masseuse did a surface job. The price also included chocolate covered strawberries but we never recieved any.

From the moment I walked in and filled out the intake form I noticed all the beautiful amenities and the sound of running water. I felt as though I had left Fayetteville and teleported to a place of calmness and serenity. My therapist listened to all of my concerns and tailored my therapy session accordingly. I will be back for breakthrough pain and highly recommend this establishment. I was unaware that this type of professional service, care, and attention to detail existed in this city. El H: I have gotten a massage here twice; both times it was exceptional, and I have no complaints about the massage services.However, I recently got a basic manicure and pedicure here, and it was not at all worth it. The massage is $100 for an hour, tip included; the basic mani/pedi was $100 WITHOUT tip included, which I found very strange. The technician who did my nails absolutely ruined my cuticles on my right hand- the left hand was barely spared because she realized that my right hand had started bleeding due to how harshly she was cutting away at my cuticles on the right hand. She then continued to paint my nails, which was ridiculous because 1) that is unhygienic and it stung and 2) there was literally blood mixed in with the polish that made streaks. It looked horrendous. When checking out, the owner proceeded to blame me, saying I must be anemic and tried to laugh it off. I questioned the price of the manicure and stated I was unhappy with the result, she tried to make up for it by giving me some very cheap ($13 on amazon) face cleanser and tried to explain it away. I was very dissatisfied with the service, especially considering I had made this appointment for an upcoming engagement photoshoot. The polish barely lasted a day as well. It was overall unprofessional, and I should not have been charged for the manicure.As a side note: Both times I have been here, the TV above the sitting area has had FoxNews playing, and both times the owners made comments to us about what was being broadcasted. I go to a spa to relax and get away from the bombardment of news and politics of the world, I do not want to hear or be subjected to someone's (anyone's, regardless of affiliation) political views and comments after receiving a massage at a local business. Leave the politics at home, or play the news in the breakroom.

An Bui: I have been going here for a while and it’s a great facility and service except that they have not done much for Covid precautions recently. There’s no mask requirements and no temperature checks, especially with the therapists. When I tried to ask about Covid policies the owner dismissed me and said I don’t have to come here, which is fair but I have been a customer for so long that when I ask about Covid , it was very defensive and I, as a client, just want to be safe especially since I work in the hospital and am dealing with very sick patients. I am writing this review to keep it transparent for future customers who are concern about Covid. If not, it is still a good place but there are other spas out there that tries to make it safe for customers and understand their concerns.

If you have a potential customer come in you don't speak with them for a minute before quoting them and then tell them to take their business elsewhere while practically calling them cheap...I'll gladly pay $70 to get a better experience elsewhere

I have very thin fine hair and wear a little hair piece bun. I asked Lauren to just trim some off the ends and she did exactly that which I loved. She also began to tell me that by layering just a little here and there it would make my hair look a little thicker and healthier and asked if I would like for her to do that. I was a little nervous but agreed and I'm so glad I did!! She cut it in just a way that made my hair look so much better and showed me how to style it. I haven't worn the bun since. On faith, I looked into salons outside of the town I live. I came across metro chic online and saw some of the pictures on the website. I was impressed! I called the salon to ask if by chance there were any openings for the week. Sally told me to come in at 2 today!!! I was so relieved. When I arrived, Sally was finishing up someone else and I only waited a max of 5 minutes. She took me directly back for a wash and then to my cut. She's is AMAZING!! I wanted an angled bob with texture/layers to my hair and my face framed but my hair was cut all one length, the back wasn't blended into the sides of my head so there was unevenness there and I had bangs that were by my eyes. Not only was the staff completely unprofessional talking absolute trash about my hair the entire time I was there, but did services that I did not ask for with products that I do not support without my permission and then charge me for it. My hair feels and looks better when I do it at home myself. I have no idea how they have such good reviews and such a high rating right now. Had I known they wanted to use Monat Products on my hair I would have declined right away. If you don’t know about Monette just do your research.
