Gaston Brewing Company: what do users think?
Mike Sylvester: Great food and service
Jennifer Phillips: Great friendly staff. Awesome food. Clean bathroom and all other areas. Jalapeño pepper egg rolls.
Megan Peterson: Bartender was rude for absolutely no reason. It's fine to say you're busy; it's not fine to talk down to me and belittle me because you're having a stressful day. I was nothing but nice. We walked out instead of waiting (which we would have been happy to do) because of his attitude.
Chelsea Fountain: Highly satisfied and surprised in a good way. It’s more spacious than I imagined from the outside. We sampled a few beers and I have to say the ciders and brown ale were two of the best I’ve tasted. We also ate lunch and really liked their burger, chicken sandwiches and fries. A good experience!
Frank Vittoe: Everything is wonderful except no cocktail sauce.... other than that, perfect
Deonna Harris: Sat for a few minutes 3 servers looked at us and quickly went back inside and assisted others that had already ordered After multiple arounds of watching them do that and clearly looking at us but never came to take our order.Response to owners: We came inside the restaurant. And was greeted by your host. We asked if we could sit outside. She said yes I will follow you and your waiter will be out to serve you. She gave us menus.Description of host: medium height circle framed glasses wearing all black curly short black hair.We looked over the menu I was going to order a tropical mule and the fried chicken strips with fries. No one came to our table and we came inside.
Mark Divita: We stopped in Fayetteville from Myrtle Beach to Rockville, MD for lunch. From the moment our server Grant came to the table all the way through the beers and meal was beyond exceptional! The beer sampler presented a dilemma with which beer was better! The burger was perfect and still hot as I ate. And then there is the sweet potato fries were a nice surprise.
KA Parker: The staff is always so friendly. You can grab a beer & walk down town now. Great location. Clean restaurant
Mark Conneway: The food was pretty good, aside from the pizza. The sauce was way to sweet. The kids liked it though. Definitely try the peanut butter whiskey and banana bacon cocktail. Amazing. UPDATE: I'm enjoying this place more and more as I go more often. Food is good (still haven't revisited the pizza) and it's more accessible than most places downtown.
Gene Baranowski: Lemon pepper wings was amazing..service was great..definitely gonna go back
Rachel Tyler: The mixed berry salad.. the one advertised as having seasonal mixed berries.. it had a few blueberries and some dried cranberries. They forgot to put the cucumber in, and there was a light dusting of feta cheese crumbs. I basically paid $12 for a bowl of lettuce. I was not impressed. The spicy margarita was good 🤷🏻‍♀️
Kelly Maxwell: Fantastic food and staff! Came here with my husband and 3 kids on a Saturday at lunch and everyone was welcoming. We finally found delicious chicken tenders! We have been trying to find them here for ages!!!We had the egg rolls (delicious), kid pizza (they loved it), wings, and tenders. Everything was fresh and delicious! The strawberry blonde is a great beet as well!
Latoya Kilcrease: Bartenders were so rude to my friends and I. They clearly stereotyped us which is so unfortunate because not only did we come to spend money but we tip well too. When food and drinks are this mediocre good customer service is key… we won’t be coming back.
Matt M.: Enjoyed the food, beer, and service.I had the chicken patriot with cheese and bacon…absolute perfection! Then washed it down with SLH IPA. Definitely coming back!
Katherine Armstrong: 3 stars for Great services and good drinks/beers but the food was disappointing and the chicken wings mite have been bad batch! My crispy chicken sandwich came out, looking good with fries, but as soon as I picked it up, you just see grease dripping on the plate for a good minute even after that, I waited. And I took a bite or two and it wasn’t bad. My best friend had the chicken wings which also came out looking good and fresh but later that evening he threw up and didn’t feel good for rest of the evening! 1 star on the food!
Matthew Randall: Stayed here with harvest host. Beers were amazing. Owners were so friendly, inviting, and were a pleasure to talk to. Hope to make it back that way again soon!
Kimi Marie: First time here today on st Patrick’s day. Food was amazing as well as the service from Drea. We had the jalepeno egg rolls, spinach dip, chicken bacon ranch flatbread, and a few cocktails. Drea gave us amazing service and the kitchen managed to have our food out surprisingly fast for such a busy night.
Charles Lynch: Chicken tender platter tossed in the hot honey 😘
Hakeem Hurd-Shabazz Bey: My bartender service was terrible, there's more but mostly her service and we were recommended for the food now I'm disappointed
Logan Krust: Do not come to this restaurant. The service is terrible and the food is just as bad. If you end up here I feel bad for you.
AlleaseEllis: cute little restaurant, small menu but the salad I got was fantastic & service was great!

Mash House Brewing Company: what do users think?
Gratia P. Perkins: Typically a fav, the Mash didn’t quite pull through for us last night beginning with a full glass of Chardonnay knocked into my lap by staff and while we understand accidents happen my skirt was soaked in chilled wine, and with the air conditioning I began to freeze and they gave me one bar towel and one apology. The manager did not come to check on our meal or the state of my dress and for our trouble they removed the cost of one Diet Coke from the ticket. I’d rather they charged for the Diet Coke and had the Manager stop by. :-(
Jenny Jefferson: Excellent food wonderful portions
Keisha Jackson: My waitress was rude. She tried to tell me how my drink should taste that I have had before many times there didn't try to resolve or help issue. Lea J was my waitress. Food was good.
Glenn Smith: Food was room temp and the service was pretty slow.
shakeya mackey: As an out of town guest this place was not welcoming and seemed to only cater to 1 particular race. I was with 3 other people we did not have a chance to taste the food because a server never came to our table, we tried to get the host attention (a guy who looked like he was not interested in working) but his phone was more important so we walked out and went to Texas Roadhouse which was probably better anyway my rant is over.
Melissa D: I came here for an anniversary luncheon. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive. I had a sirloin steak, mashed potatoes and veggies. Everything was extremely flavorable and the sirloin was cooked medium rare. I was also pleasantly surprised with the size of the steak. Before I forget, the Ceasar salad was really good...had a great zing to it.The only tiny complaint I have was bread/roll wasn't offered with the meal.
Melissa Mahabir: We made a reservation and our table was ready when we arrived. For most of us, it was the first time dining here. Gina, our waitress, was pleasant and efficient. Everyone's plates were well presented. The shrimp and grits were delicious!!!!!!!!!
Juan Ramos: Thursday night is a great night to come dine. We had our choice of patio, tables, and high tops. The bar is also available for dining.Drinks - black widow cocktail has Pama, Chambord, and some other delicious flavors.Desserts - creme Brulee and chocolate stout cake.Entrees - southern jam burger and jambalaya.
Gene and Becky Parsley: The steak was awesome. The bone in ribeye was flavorful and much larger than I anticipated. The vegetables were grilled just right.
April Stinson: Just want to give a shout-out to our server Marquis (forgive me if I ruined the spelling of your name) but he was amazing!! He reminded me when I used to serve at restaurants. Super nice, attentive, and checked in often without being too overbearing or waiting too long. He was such a sweetheart and it was so nice briefly talking with him in between enjoying my Mother’s Day dinner with my husband and daughter. Would definitely go back just to have him! Food was great and beers were delicious!
Shane Hill: 8pm on a Saturday night, walked up to the bar and sat right down for drinks and food. The bison burger was delicious, albeit a little over cooked, and the raspberry porter was a tasty complement. The oatmeal stout was very good, but a little too bitter for my taste. Highly recommend and would eat here again if I’m in the area.
Larry Hudson: Excellent beer, food and service. I had the Oatmeal Stout, which was delicious. We had Bison Burgers w/bacon and they were tasty. Our server, Anthony, was outstanding.
mackenzie henry: lani is best
Marsha Speas: Service was okay maybe the food take longer because we went on the weekend. Cocktails were like water down juice. Tried special of the day ahi with shimps and it were so bland wasn’t good at all as well as friend calamari too salty. I think it’s pricey for two person with appetizers two drinks and two entree were about $140. Pro is the waitress we’re attentive and friendly The bbq salmon salad was very tasty.
RH PEELE: Went to this place the first time on Sunday this place is horrible unseasoned food and cold very overpriced long wait times for cold food my suggestion is the pass this place by and don't waste your money just ridiculous
James Potts: Amazing food, wonderful staff, a really pleasant experience overall.
Jorge A: The service and the food were great. I would definitely come back. Also, great taste in beers.
Donna Lee Irwin: Our servers were Dallas, one night and Najah another. The service was outstanding, the beer was some of the best I've had and the food was delicious!!I am so glad we ate here while visiting my nephew!Oh, and we met the Easter Bunny!
Bruce Black: Great food, great service, good beer.
Samantha King: Delicious as always!
Dakota Smith (Mineboy808): Food was good, staff was nice. For our apps, we had the Queso and Pretzels. Queso was good, just a bit runny, but the pretzels made up for it! For the entree, I got the Jambalaya, it was really good, and the grits were amazing! Tries their Cowboy steak special, very unique flavor and definitely worth a try. For dessert I has the cheesecake brownie. It was very unique, and tasted good. Great experience overall!

Bright Light Brewing Company: what do users think?
Madeline Minor: Great find! It was a hot day so it was nice to find a dog friendly place to cool off inside. Good variety of beers to choose from.
She Smiles: We brought my beer-loving husband here for an early Father's Day celebration. Inside was nice and dark and had a cool industrial vibe and a small stage. Outside the patio area was super casual and laid back. We had a flight of beers, (Blackberry Pilsner, Orange Creamsicle, 60 watt IPA, Hell of a Day IPA, Sour You Doin) and loved all 5. We finally narrowed it down to 2 kinds to bring home. Food trucks don't arrive until around 5 pm, so plan accordingly 😉
Hal Broadfoot: Best spot in town!
Grant: chill atmosphere and good beer
David Schermerhorn: Pleasant little dining area for food trucks
James Gallagher: The bartender Trish followed me and beat me up in the bathroom, but in a respectful way. Would come again.
Greg Floyd: Nice place to unwind after work and have a cold one and grab some food from one of their alternating food trucks.Staff is friendly and helpful! They usually have bands on Friday and Saturday nights.
Megan Sitzmann: Good beer and we really enjoy going on trivia night! Love that they have food trucks out back and entertainment.
Katherine Golden: BEST BEER IN FAYETTEVILLE!! We love Bright Light and their atmosphere. Everyone is super helpful and friendly there!
Nichole Schultz: Best beer we found downtown! Environment was cool and there was a live band that was amazing.Definitely our favorite beer spot downtown.
Cristen Frazier: The beer was cold and tasty. Many different options depending on your tastes of beer. The food trucks vary from day to day. Overall, friendly service, chill vibes, and you can bring your pup. Overall it's a win win situation.
Alexander Perez: Always amazing drinks, people and of course bartenders!!!
Rene Casas: Love this place....to my surprise all the beer tasted were very good 👍. Definitely will be back for more. Also, the food truck was great 👍
JAY PATEL: This was my favorite place for a beer especially there pineapple ipa which they finally brought back. When I tried it this time it tasted like a Budweiser . When I asked the owner did they change the formula , he informed me yes they did and on top of that tells me everyone else liked the change . Well even my friend who also like the pineapple ipa said it tasted so artificial. Oh well will have to find another brew place
Erik Gomez: Always have a good time when I come here. Any issues I have had were out of their hands. Keep up the good work.
Matthew Limone: Great place! Friendly, quick service from the bartenders. The atmosphere is fitting for a microbrewery; cozy and slightly funky. They have a good selection of beer on tap, all of which they brew. Lots of extra seating out on the patio. It’s not a sports bar but they did have college football on when we were there on a Saturday afternoon. They don’t have any guest taps which isn’t a problem because they have so many styles of their own beer to choose from. I got the December Saison which was okay and the Limelight which was delicious!
Jim Buie: Great brews and awesome entertainment! Crow Kozak is the best.
Larry D.: Great beer...
Brian Delrosario: The local Fayetteville Run Club (FRC) meets here on Sundays, and has been doing so for years now. Nice place. I enjoy hanging out here with the FRC after a run.
Madeline Russell: Our go to place! We always feel comfortable bringing the whole family here!! Love the beer, environment, and food trucks!! And the wonderful Bartenders!!!
Maria Madden: Great place! Never noticed it before until a friend brought me by but now that I know about it I will for sure be back 👍🏼

Dirtbag Ales Brewery & Taproom: what do users think?
rich Thompson: Great beverages, delicious food trucks, good energy!
Jose Torres: Paloma Cider was pretty good. Food was great.
Jeanne Brinkman: It seems like a fun place. A little to warm today however, the weather was very hot today. Selection was great. What we tasted was delicious. Food was good. Would definitely go back.
Christopher Green: I cannot say enough great things about Dirtbag Ales. Always an awesome time. I even got married here.
ANGELA OSTER: Great place. Pets and kids allowed
Dennis C: Great little pit stop from 95. Good beer, food and service. Very nice out door area, very dog friendly.
Charmander gamer 22: We got there around 7pm and management closed down the playground. They had security guards tell the kids to stay off even though it was light out. Not a family friendly place and will not be back.
Tim Brown: This place is a true gem. Local veteran family owned craft brewery and taproom. The new location is phenomenal and well worth the drive if you're across town. The love, art and creativity that go into their beer, decor and overall business design is top notch, world class. Bartenders are friendly and down to earth. Atmosphere is hip yet welcoming. The beer is delicious and there are plenty of options to suit any palette. This is Fayetteville, Hope Mills and Fort Bragg at its best. It doesn't matter if you're from Bremen, Bakersfield or Birmingham, this place will not disappoint. Bring your kids; it's family friendly with a nice, shaded playground for your kids to play while you and friends relax, drink a few delicious beers, play some cornhole and enjoy the music. Ethan Hanson is a regular act here and in my opinion is the best local musician in the area, which makes this the best venue in the area hands down. Congrats Dirtbags!
Tim M.: Decent beer and great atmosphere but the payment system is completely out of date. They don’t accept chip cards or ApplePay. If the card reader doesn’t read the magnetic strip on the card, you’re forced to pay cash and they won’t let you start a tab. In 2023, I’d think that a business would have an up-to-date payment system. When all else fails, the bartenders can type your card number into the system, but they’ll only do it once because “it’s the owner’s policy.” I’d love to see the owner invest in the business, especially when it’s the system that will help bring in more revenue.
Harley Dufek: Great food and beer and would love come back when they have a band. I had the wings with bloody Mary dry rub! Delicious!
Matt: Terrible customer service.
Dr. Yvonne N. Crawford: Love the vibe! Well worth the drive if you live on the other side of Fort Liberty (Bragg)
Paula Collins: Love the family experience, the beer as well as Napkins food. A+ all the way.
Nicole Offenheiser: I had a work event in Fayetteville but saw Dirtbag Ales online and decided to spend an additional night in Hope Mills so I could check it out. I'm so glad I did!! One of my favorite breweries of all time! I love the laid back atmosphere with the huge outdoor space. Napkins (the on-site restaurant) was delicious. They even had 3 food trucks to choose from in addition to their food. The beer was some of the best I've had and they have a large selection. The Pinnaple Jalapeno beer (I believe that's what it was) was my favorite! I bought a 4 pack to take home and wish I'd bought more. If I didn't live 8 hours away I'd make a trip to stock up. Next time I'm in town I'll definitely be back. I highly recommend anyone in the area stopping by.
Bethany: This place has good beers, nice staff, solid food trucks, a legit farmers' market, comfy seating, and is perfect for families with kids or dogs because the playground and rest of the set up has things to safely entertain kids, play with pets, and be comfortable still for family or friends that don't drink that are with you while you are still chilling out. The only drawback is sometimes parking is full, and if you have mobility issues, the ground can be pretty uneven. I definitely recommend here though! 🍻🎵
Gina T: We waited in line at the napkins restaurant but wow was it worth it!!! Best burgers in the Fayetteville area! Also the Brussel sprouts were the best I’ve ever had!
Kevin Holcomb: I come for the farmers market on Sundays. Love the selection and vendors and food trucks. Great place to bring your dog and have a brew. Live music is great too!
Kaila: Great variety of beverage options and fun atmosphere.
Megan Sitzmann: This place really has it all, a huge variety of unique beers, a huge patio and indoor area, trivia nights, live music, food, and a weekly farmer’s market!! You won’t be disappointed coming to dirtbag, just look on their social media for what events are happening!
P Park: Always excellent beer. The food is also excellent and the beerkeepers are also excellent. Make sure you bring your license with you, even if you're hella-old like me, they are strict about "no license, no beer"
Guillaume Paul-Simoncelli: Really good choice of beer and friendly service! It’s completely worth the detour if you going in the region 🙏
