Unity Funeral Services: what do users think?
Justsomeguy: I absolutely have no choice but to leave a SECOND review for this establishment, because I am so truly BLOWN AWAY by their professionalism and incredible "customer service ". I put that in quotations because at no point was I ever treated, nor did I feel like a "customer ". The entire staff here treated me as a human being, worthy of respect and understanding. I swear I had to be the most difficult client they have ever had to put up with (not intentionally, of course) I changed my mind more times than I can even count, I can't imagine how THEY must have felt...yet I never detected any indication...not even a hint of annoyance in anyone I dealt with (especially Tiffany, I swear she is the most patient human on the planet) I was late for EVERYTHING. I mean EVERY SINGLE THING....including the actual service!!! They held everything up (and probably had to work double time to get the chapel prepared for the next family) while I proceeded to arrive about 45 minutes late (again, unintentionally and unfortunately entirely out of my control) I was HYSTERICAL and so so embarrassed, but each time I called to update them on my situation, nothing but kind, patient understanding. I was even late paying.....BY ALMOST 5 MONTHS!!! With no communication either because I ended up falling SERVERELY ill and was unconscious in a hospital bed. When they finally got ahold of me (which just so happened to be the very same day I got home. They were on the top of my list to contact but they got to me first.....the incredible part however, was that when I went through my phone, I think they had called a total of 2 times....when I went completely MIA for MONTHS) I STILL had to keep them waiting for over another week. Tiffany just VERY politely helped me to process a PARTIAL payment....and still....all this time later with all the headache I'm sure I have caused (and feel so bad and embarrassed about) they have remained EXTREMELY professional and some of the most patient individuals I've ever dealt with. With ALL that bring said...they also made the entire process so much less stressful and scary and the service was beautiful. All I'm saying is, if you have just lost someone very dear to you and you're hurting and scared and overwhelmed, you'd be foolish to go anywhere else. Allow them to help you through this absolutely awful time and difficult process. You will be glad you did!
Aquaila Hunter: I had a very good experience with unity. They made sure everything i needed was taking care of. One of the hardest experiences turned out great thanks to Unity. I would recommend to anybody. They were very nice, made sure my time was not wasted. Communication is everything and they had it. 😌
Sarah Atamansky: I have been probably one of the most DIFFICULT clients possible (not on purpose obviously. Just very bad circumstances presently mixed with grief and serious illness) I i have been late every single time, they waited for me. Had to reschedule a bunch of times, "no problem " even though it definitely WAS a problem. Took forever to even pay for the services, they did not harass me or make me feel like a loser. When i DID finally pay, had to go through like 4 different cards and put them through like 100 times...Tiffany showed INCREDIBLE patience...I would have probably lost it on me! The employees at this funeral home have been attentive, helpful, guided me through the ENTIRE process. Waited for me while i moved like a snail or had transportation issues and lastly...i called every funeral home in the area, their prices were the most affordable and reasonable by FAR. Highly recommend. Lastly the 3 negative reviews are so frustrating to me. 1 of them doesn't even have any words! One of them says 5/5 stars at the bottom but she only gave them 2 because her grandfather's middle name was mispelt on his ashes. Don't get me wrong, that would upset me too, however I don't think that specific aspect is entirely on them and likely is someone ELSE'S mistake. I wish google had a way for people to respond to or at least confirm or deny if their experience was similar. This home should have 5/5 for sure
Whitney Hall: I understand everyone makes mistakes. And with this in mind I give 2stars. But I’d ANYONE says they will fix an issue. Please DEMAND them to fix it right then and there. As a young person experiencing a death by herself knowing nothing I should have done this. I currently have my grandfathers ashes and his middle name is misspelled. My fiancé brought it up to whom ever when he picked up my grandfather veteran flag which would have never been provided if I didn’t ask for it and in response the commenter said did I get his DD-214 in which I respond yes, which she found so great BUT! they said they’d fix his middle name on the ashes … but it hasn’t been fixed. I leave my information for a call back and have YET TO RECEIVE! Which is beyond frustrating..As a family member that is grieving looking at your loved ones name misspelled isn’t fun.Granted they are nice. They gentlemen who picked up my grandfather were beyond kind. So they get 5/5 stars.
Linda Soo Hoo: I didn't have a very positive experience with this Funeral home. They were very disorganized, lacked communication and seemed only to care about the money aspect of service. We had paid in full for our daughters cremation and yet, we received an aggressive phone call to collect funds before sending out our daughter's cremains. when I asked if there were other charges, they rep said only the original fees were due. I informed her that they had been paid, she placed me on a brief hold, then said I was away for a few days so I didn't check before calling. When we finally received our daughters cremains they came in a beaten up outer box USPS with human cremains taped all around the box. when I opened the box the regular cremains box was inside our daughters name was misspelled not care was taken to get such an important detail correct. Very disappointed.
Amber Wike: They were extremely professional, kind and considerate. They took great care of my father.
DaDon Harris: All the staff was so kind, gentle, and caring during a very sad time in our lives. They truly listened to the little details we wanted to help express our love to our mom. Nothing was to big or small for our funeral director Mr.Peterson. We had a pleasure working with him as he guided us in every step of the way, as we never been through this before. From the moment we walked through the doors of Unity they treated us as family! We thank you so much
Chaddrick Johnson: Mr.Peterson and his staff at Unity Funeral Services are absolutely amazing professionals.. They are caring, compassionate, and affordable in your time of need.
latasha brewington: I can't describe how much I appreciate y'all they made my baby look amazing very nice helpful thank y'all so much
Wanda Correa: Unity was very helpful in this hard time of myLife.Their services are both affordable and professional.I would recommend them to everyone.
Cityboy Discrete: I would like to thank Mr V. Peterson and the entire staff members for the outstanding services they provided for my big sister Ms. Lucinda Hill October 15 2021 who i will dearly miss.she was a great part of my life and others along her journey. she has touched so many lives we will never forget. Unity family thanks again for making my brother and myself so comfortable during the time of need. Lucinda was a classy lady and went home to her maker in style. I pray God continue to bless your business and as well in good health. thank you thank you...... Tony - Jerome
Yolanda Smith: Mr. Peterson and the staff at Unity Funeral Services helped my family navigate the unexpected loss of my daughter. The staff at Unity Funeral Services was responsive and patient with us. They held our hands through the entire process. The professionalism exhibited by the staff helped make this experience bearable.
Kim Green: If I could give this business TEN stars, I would! I am the power of attorney for my late grandmother. The gentleman who helped me to get that established is an affiliate of Unity funeral services. When the time came to lay my beloved grandmother to rest in Greensboro, NC, Unity became the choice to service our needs. They were PHENOMENAL! They took care of EVERY detail, even down to getting copies of death certificates for us, paying all of the vendors with our insurance money and even wearing the colors my grandmother wore in her honor. I wish there were Unities EVERYWHERE! I 500% recommend them for your burial needs.Unity, Mr. P. and your staff...on behalf of the Green/Allen family, THANK YOU and GOD BLESS YOU!
Jason Townsend (JT): We went in to ask about direct cremation service which is what my grandma wants. They are very friendly and gave us some good advice on the planning of the type of service that grandma wants. They gave us a brochure with AMAZING rates for direct cremation, by far the lowest rate of any one of the places we have checked so far. The lady who does financial planning for grandma told us about this place and said they were cheaper. The location is not what you expect of a funeral home because it's in a strip mall next to a mattress store. But they have all the equipment there as in the parlor, the vehicles, and I guess the chapel also. Grandma was adamant she doesn't want to use a funeral home as inmthe big few in Fayetteville because she has been to too many funerals at these over the years and doesn't want to be there in life or in death not one more minute. The best thing was the guys here at this funeral home listened to us and actually heard what we asked for. Grandma wants a direct cremation with no service there, and her ashes to be mixed in the large urn with her husband's ashes and a small portion sprinkled around pretty places when we travel. That way her and her beloved can be together in the most beautiful places, as they enjoyed I'm life. They did not push us in a more expensive direction and gave us prices on exactly what we wanted. Everyone else tried to sell us diamonds made our of the ashes, and fancy urn and memorial services that she doesn't want and specifically said she didn't want.Give these guys a call and see what they have to offer you will be pleased that u did..
Kenneth Greene: Excellent customer service. The Unity Chapel leadership and staff went above the call of duty in assisting my family. Unity Chapel management team were patient and understanding in explaining the funeral arrangement process. The Unity Chapel team answered and addressed our concerns in timely and effective manner throughout the entire process. Additionally, the Unity Chapel followed up with us after the funeral. It was kind of like a Health and Welfare check (Major Kudos).
Dorcas James: They did an awesome job. My husband looked wonderful.
Kevin Stein: I can't thank these people enough. They answered whenever we called- and we didnt always call at reasonable hours. They comforted and guided my sister and I through our Mom's burial and even processes involving the estate. They helped us change our Mom's burial location and handled every step when a week in we changed our mind. I was mostly in shock at the time and wasn't really ready to deal with many of the business aspects of death and Unity stepped in and offered the guiding hand that my family needed. Thank you so much.
Dina Pahl: At a time where you don’t want to worry about anything, you don’t have to. They handle it all for you.
Calvin Wright: Mr P and his staff is the best. They are real professional.
Christion Waters: Awesome Service, Great People, and Beautiful Facility. Good Work UNITY !
Michella McNeill: I was referred to unity by a client a few months ago so when my mother passed in March I went to them not knowing what to expect. The atmosphere was inviting Mr Peterson was extremely professional and reassuring. Mrs Veronica was very patience with me as I made many last minute requests not once did she get upset she fulfilled every request with a smile. Ms Tiffany’s cosmetic work on my mother was AMAZING!! She made sure my vision of how I wanted her to be was beautifully executed! If your looking for professional service I highly recommend UNITY. They do exactly what they say..”WE’RE HERE FOR YOU! ❤️

Herring Funeral Care & Cremations: what do users think?
Kim Holmes: Kevin and his entire team are very professional and polite. I gave a 5 star rating but they deserve a 10
GiGi Genesis: I want to say Thank you to Mr. Powell Sr. He offered honesty and direction during a difficult time for myself and my family. He made sure that from the first moment I called him, that he let me know he was only a phone call away. Even if we decided to use a different funeral home, he wanted to make sure that we knew our options so again I say Thank you and Kudos 👏. Not everyone would do that.C Whitlock & Family
Fred 'B': Beautiful
Jeff Belton: They sorry
D Supra: Herring Funeral Care and Cremations has demonstrated compassion, respect, and a willing to go 110% to assist with the final arrangements for 3 of our familly members in a five month span. I appreciate all they have done to help us doing this very difficult time. Thank you and your staff for all you do.
Quinton Lewis: Recently conducted services for our son Timothy. Everyone was kind, professional and we were all pleased with everything. Would recommend their services and assign a sixth star to the rating if we could. Thank you so much.
Meme Robinson: I would never recommend these people especially after they escorted me out from viewing someone’s body I cared about today. Don’t go to em unless it’s a last resort
Joyce adams: Exceptional service!
Sandra W: This funeral home goes beyond to make family members comfortable. If you desire an awesome final service for your love ones please contact them
Tanisha Hithe: Herring Funeral care provided the utmost professional service during the loss of my father. They are compassionate, flexible, and accommodating. They are reliable and very responsive. Entrusting them to handle my father's final arrangements helped to relieve stress knowing that all aspects of his service was in capable hands. Based on my experience, Herring comes highly recommended.
Nikki Blaine: Herring Funeral Home operates with a spirit of excellence. Their love and service make saying goodbye a little easier. Thanks for your service.
Harriett Walters: Herring is a wonderful place staff is wonderful and they care about your loved ones. They make your loved ones look peaceful as if they were sleeping & they look naturally like themselves. Alot of places in the area does not know how to embalm a body correctly or to make them look as naturally like themselves. Herring has years of experience, great staff & willing to work with you thru out the entire process. Loosing a loved one is hard but they help you feel a big inch of relief ❤️
Jennifer Mccaskey: Ok first of their a bunch of liers my husband was released by me and they ended up giving his ashes to his cousin I was told by a lawyer that I had a case on them since I could have proven that I was still married to him witch I know for a fact that they knew that we were still married since they were at lest nice enough to put me and my son that wasn't even his or allowed to be mention due to the fact that he is in DSS custody on his obituary so I say that they are crooks
Anita Harris: This is the absolute WORST funeral home EVER! My family’s services was rushed! We had to stand up for the viewing because they had my cousin in a hallway! Then tried to scam us out of money, charging us for things the insurance company was responsible for and tried to charge us for digging a grave on the cemetery land...WHICH IS ILLEGAL! A lawsuit waiting to happen! Pay attention because these people will take advantage of your grief! If I could give them zero stars I would!
Valencia Utley: Being that I was coming from out of town, when me and my sister visited the establishment the owner/director was very attentive to the family needs. We left their knowing that our sister was in great hands. They made my sister look great; they gave us a promise and delivered 100%. I want to thank them for their professionalism and the awesome work they done. Much appreciated.
Philip Kelton: I have gone to a lot of funerals over the years and most of the time the people looked dusty and dead. Herring Funeral home had my Mother looking like she was sleeping naturally. I would highly recommend this establishment.
Jennifer Pfau: Beautiful job working with the family who is from all over the US. Thank you for the amazing service!
andrew adams: Owners of the funeral home were kind and compassionate. Staff was very considerate to our needs. Very positive experience for my family and I highly recommend this Funeral Home!
A Shelton: Owner was rude and uncaring. Elderly persons were left standing in lobby during a funeral. Brought it to the owner's attention and instead of assessing the situation and offering chairs, he dismissed it with a cold hearted and nasty toned response. Please consider other funeral homes if possible. The grieving friends and relatives deserve more respect than he was willing to give!
Shamikka Whitted: We went in not knowing what to do. The staff helped our family from start to finish. Thanks to everyone at Herring, you're greatly appreciated!
Joanna Purcell: Herring Funeral Home has the best staff. They are very professional and orderly... I would recommend them to anyone....

During this difficult time, their patient, caring, and compassionate approach provided solace and support for my family and me.
Roy Maynor: Sullivan's gently and compassionately embraced our family during our time of grief; from the moment our mother passed away in March of 2021 until this past September, 2022 when our father joined our mother in Heaven. James, Bea and the entire staff were nothing but remarkable and I have the highest regard for them.
April Clifton: My husband unexpectedly passed away two days after Christmas, 2022. We had often talked about what our wishes would be when that time came, but I was completely blindsided!I contacted Mr. Edward Mercer at Highland Sullivan Funeral Home. He and his staff put us at ease the minute we walked thru the door. From picking out a casket to the services, it was all handled with our feelings and comfort first and foremost. Everything was handled beautifully.I highly recommend Mr. Mercer and his staff. We said our goodbyes and everything was handled with dignity and grace. Thank you so much Mr. Mercer and staff!
Gwen Melton: Enjoyed the immense service from Steve Perry as a waiter and a magician ! He is a master server and entertainer! Love his energy!
April Jackson: We have used Sullivan’s for 4 family members so far, the most recent being my father a few months ago. Every employee that we have dealt with has been kind, compassionate, professional, and easy to communicate with. I have especially enjoyed my interactions with Edward, James, and Bea. In both my maternal grandmother’s and my father’s deaths I wanted to view them several times in the days before their services. Both Edward & James were wonderfully patient with me about bringing them out whenever I needed to see them. It is not easy to trust someone with something as precious as your loved ones’ remains but rest assured when you leave them in the care of Sullivan’s they will be treated with the respect, dignity, and care they deserve. My Dad looked wonderful thanks to James and I am forever thankful that when my children saw their grandfather for the last time he looked like himself. If you are in the terrible position of needing a funeral home’s services I promise you that Sullivan’s is the right choice!
Bobbi Lighthood: James and Bee took great care of Mrs. Brenda this weekend. She looked like she was sleeping and we couldn’t be more pleased. I know how painful it was for her daughter Kori, and I loved the support offered by the staff throughout the whole transition. I am thankful for how flexible Sullivans was when it came to last minute changes. LOL, so many family member with so many ideas was a bit overwhelming. The staff really understood how hurt we all were, and offered us the care we needed. Thank you…
Kori S.: The family of Brenda S. and I want to personally thank James, Bea, & Sullivan's for making this difficult process tolerable. Carrying the weight of the world, I walked in without an appointment lost without mommy. The first thing James did was get mommy safely into the care of Bea. We received so many compliments on how amazing she looked. The peace you gave us, helps me sleep at night. Thank you for the guidance and care you showed us during such a heartfelt loss. Many blessing to each of you.
Larry Edge: Amazing experience. Did not feel pressured at any time, and all our requests were done. Communication with Edward was outstanding, and mother will be seeing him again for pre-planning. Highly recommend their services.
Garrett Sirois: Sullivan’s Funeral Home as well as Mr.Mercer made what was supposed to be one of the hardest days in a persons life go as smoothly and perfect as possible. Everything from the treatment of my family and I, to the presentation of my flags outside supporting my grandfathers military service. From the first phone call, Sullivan’s funeral home was caring and understanding and helped guide us through a terrible time. My family and I appreciate all those involved and would recommend this funeral home to anyone looking to honor there loved ones!
Janna Bean: Edward Mercer and Bee Norris were wonderful. Handled everything beautifully for my mom's service. They were a pleasure thru it all.
Sheila Valcarcel: My family and I just returned home from attending my mother's funeral service. My father, brothers and I couldn't have been more pleased with the attention, care and compassion we experienced while making arrangements for my mother's service. Ed Mercer and Bea were outstanding and we highly recommend them. They are attentive to every detail and are highly professional and conscientious. We couldn't have been happier. Thank you!!
Roger Harris: Allen and Edward and the entire Sullivan staff were fantastic. Very professional, kind and patience during a very trying time. I would recommend Sullivan to any family with pre-need arrangements or current services for a loved one. Thank you Sullivan Highland for exceeding expectations.
Jodie Steeber: Allen Stapleton recently handled the arrangements for my father. He was wonderful throughout the entire process. Even though I called after hours, Allen responded immediately. Due to the current situation, and because I live out of the area, he was very compassionate and accommodating. We were able to handle almost everything over the phone and internet. I would highly recommend Allen and Sullivan's Highland Funeral Service.
Joyce Nunnery: My family and I were so pleased with the kindness and caring shone to us when my husband, Curt, died. Edward Mercer walked us through the entire process. He gave suggestions but let us choose what was best suited for us. My family was so pleased with the results during this stressful time. I would recommend their service to everyone when this difficult time occurs.
Manisha Devasthali: Allen Stapleton was kind, patient, and very flexible during this tough time in our lives. He also has a good understanding of what to expect in a Hindu ceremony.
William Lane: Allen and the staff were absolutely outstanding. Allen was very accommodating, very thorough, and very timely throughout the process. His concerns for my family were genuine and he treated us and my deceased mother with the utmost dignity and respect.
Tim Cannon: Without a doubt the very best Fayetteville has to offer and probably the state. We have used Sullivan's Highland Crematory service for 4+ family members. Sullivan's Highland has always been sensitive to the families needs and concerns. Allen Stapleton in particular has gone out of his way to make sure we were completely satisfied with the Memorial Service, arrangement of flowers and podium to include a digital scrolling photo display of our loved one. We have several other pre-need contracts that will be serviced by Sullivan's Highland Crematory when the need arises. Highly recommended........♥♥♥♥♥
Bev Cannon: Sullivan's Highland Funeral Service and Crematory recently took care of my family during the death of my brother (George Garner). Allen Stapleton took care of us like we were family. His attention to every aspect of our personal needs during this difficult time was awesome. He is a professional and compassionate man. The staff was very attentive to our needs and desires for a great home going celebration. I highly recommend Sullivan's Highland Funeral Service and Crematory. I especially want to thank Allen Stapleton for everything he did for us with our mothers funeral 3 years ago and many other of our family members.
Kelly Williams: We recently had a loss in our family. We chose Sullivan's Funeral Home to handle the arrangements. We dealt with Allen Stapleton to handle everything for us. He did an excellent job for us and he was very caring and understanding. Everyone at the funeral home were very accommodating and very understanding. I would highly recommend Sullivan's to anyone!
Phillip Perrier: Sincere thanks to Mr. Edward Mercer and all the staff at Sullivan’s for their professionalism and their handling of the services. This was the first time we were involved in planning a service and the staff at Sullivan’s walked us through every step of the way. When I would ask about this or that Mr. Mercer would reply with reassuring smile “no need to worry we have already taken care of that for you”. They were always a step ahead making the process so much easier and simply wanted us to take time to remember our late mother.

Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home: what do users think?
Karen Beasley Raliski: The professionals at Jernigan-Warren have served our family with knowledge, compassion, and professionalism in the funeral services provided for our mother’s funeral in 2016 and our father’s funeral in 2022. They even went beyond their required call of duty for a couple of special requests. The chapel is beautiful and suggestions for musicians was helpful.
Angelique Colon: Losing a loved one unexpectedly is devastating. That being said you want to do everything in your power to give them the best going home and celebration of life! From the day we called into Jernigan Warren (the day of my grandmother’s passing we were scrambling because the hospital said we needed a funeral home to sign off on) we knew this was the place! Margaret was so kind on the phone and reassured us she would help us every step of the way! My mom was determined to give her mother the best funeral and Jernigan Warren did just that! Every detail was perfect from start to finish! Everyone in this place was fantastic, so caring and kind! Margaret did a wonderful job of communicating with us to keep us updated on the arrangements and also gave recommendations that were very helpful when picking out all the details. I will forever be thankful for Margaret and the Jernigan Warren team for helping us give my grandma the best going away tribute we could have ever imagined!
Angela Musselwhite: Margaret was amazing with my mother's funeral. She made sure that every detail was perfect and helped my dad and the rest of the family know what to expect. She was compassionate and caring to my entire family. My mom would have loved everything if she could have seen it.
Pam99 Slicker: Excellent funeral home. Staff are really kind and caring and patient with you. Would recommend
Phillip Alexander: Our family receive personal exceptional service during this difficult time with my father. Brian was the best.
Jennifer L: We had an unexpected death of a relative in a motor vehicle accident. The staff was so kind and caring. The costs were reasonable and we were not pressured to spend more money. We were from out of state and I was very impressed with the service and professionalism.
Jill DeVore: My family lost my mother the end of April. We had a very pleasant experience with Jernigan-Warren funeral home. We told them exactly what we wanted and did not feel pressured to buy anything we didn’t want.Afterwards, we were offered services to deal with our grief. I was contacted several times to see if I needed anything. This funeral home is compassionate and caring and although the circumstances were horrible, it was a joy to work with them.Jill DeVore
Chris Adams: I cannot share enough appreciation for Ben Chambers and his dedicated Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home team. When my mother passed, they assisted me promptly and politely to set up her funeral within 5 days. They were responsive and supportive.
Ericka Maurici: Never thought I would be writing this type of review but here I am., I lost my daughter and wanted a place to represent my daughter the way she would love. Ken and his team was amazing. Ken is very kind and will explain everything for you. Jernigan and Warren will treat you with respect and with such kindness.
Holly Hinrichs: Debbie DeCarlo was amazing to work with. She comforted my family and myself and really took the time to confirm our satisfaction. She was patient, understanding, & sincere!
Sheila McLamb-Wilcox: Following my husband’s death in May of last year, I spoke with three funeral directors in Fayetteville. In just one phone call, Trey Herring of Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home showed a significantly higher standard of care and professionalism than any other. That standard would continue until my husband’s burial could be cleared, due to Covid, in a National Cemetery. Then suddenly this past month, when my mother unexpectedly passed, I had to call on Trey again. Just as with my husband’s visitation and graveside service, Trey and the staff at Jernigan-Warren proved to be such a comfort, proving a beautiful final tribute to my mother. I think of them as family because they went above and beyond their responsibility to me as a client. Kindness and attention to detail is a given with these wonderful folks. Debbie DeCarlo, who did my mother’s hair and makeup, went above and beyond what I would have expected. After many years of illness, my mother would have been so proud to know how beautiful she would be once again. No amount of thanks will ever express my gratitude to those who work at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home. They simply are the best.
Jeannie Ruffin: Excellent service and so helpful in your time of grief. Compassionate, answer all questions and so much respect for the family and friends. Very helpful in my time of grief. The best in my opinion.
dawn gaddy: We worked with Ken to make the final arrangements for my mother. She died very suddenly and we were at loss as to where to begin. Ken helped my husband and I navigate through the process with much concern and care for my family. Thank you so much.
anna cruz: This place is incredible. During your time of loss and pain, having to deal with arrangements is very overwhelming. Trey was such a profesional. His patience and care was unparalleled. This is the place you want to take care of your loved ones.
Lisa Johnson: I want to publicly comment about the great customer service I just received from this funeral home. Ben Chambers, I appreciate your concern and time.Thank you
Daryle Nobles: Professional and compassionate staff.
Robin Myers: We used Jernigan-Warren for my Fathers funeral many years ago. My mother told me many times how much she appreciated the during his death. To my Mother, that is where she wanted to be. Because of her age, she had outlived most relatives and friends. Jernigan-Warren found an excellent Pastor to perform her service. Though he had never met my Mother, he listened to me talk about her, and he personalized the service. It was as though he had known her for years. I will be forever thankful for the kindness and support during such a difficult time. I would highly recommend them to anyone.
Pamela Flanigan: Margaret Storm, Ken Herring and George Girdwood are such caring people. Margaret and Ken handled my Moms funeral, and my Dad always said that he wanted them to handle his. 1st time meeting George, but as long as these three are still working I will always recommend Jernigan Warren. My neighbor passed away after my Dad, and I told them to call Margaret or Ken and they would be taken care of, they were glad they did.
Gloria Jordan: Excellent service from the time they came to our home to get our loved one, very considerate of our feelings of such a great loss, process of chosing time of service, process of everything that had to be done was not rushed and we felt very pleased with how everything turned out, I don't know of anything that could have been done any better, losing a child is the most difficult thing a person can experience but I feel my daughter would have been very pleased of each and every person we came in contact with at Jernigan Warren, my whole family has chosen to use them when our time comes because we know that our friends and family will be treated with respectfull, caring people ! Thank you all for your help during this very difficult time Gloria Jean Jordan
David Mann: Professional staff. Have known the people here for many years.
Edward Goins: First Class Service as Always truly Caring for your Loved One Thank You for your Help I Truly Appreciate your kindness shown to our Family

Rogers & Breece Funeral Home: what do users think?
Neepa Patel: It’s been 2 years and I still think back to the day of my father’s cremation and how horrible the experience was. In our culture, we walk with the casket to the crematorium having to do rituals as they have been done for generations. My mother, who also had Covid, was was very weak- was rushed and almost lost her balance a numerous amount of times bc the men pushing the casket had no regard for our family or our rituals. What a horrible way to be treated after such a tragic loss.
Jeffrey Anderson: My wife and I are new to the area and were referred to Rogers & Breece. Lori is wonderful, as is the whole staff. Great experience during a difficult time!
lynisa marks: Words can not express the gratitude that I have for Rogers and Breece! They are first class and they treated us first class. Robert, Lori, Judy, Stella, and David thank you for all the attention you provided my family with. We chose Larry Chasom to perform our MemorialService and singing! What a wonderful message he brought and his voice was a Bonus! A true gift. Thank you all for your guidance and support for us as we faced a difficult time losing the one and only Ret. Command Sergeant Major, John J. Heilman. ♥️
Craig Orchard: The family of Marilyn Lee Orchard expresses their gratitude of Rogers and Breece Funeral Home for their compassion and professionalism. Thank You.
Lisa Harris: My mom passed away at home the week before Christmas. It was nighttime and we had not made any prior arrangements. We randomly chose to call Rogers and Breece to help us with what needed to be done. David and Stella came out and were very compassionate from the time they got there until they left. We met with David the next day and he helped us make arrangements and explained all that we would need to do. Judy was wonderful about getting the pictures and music for the slideshow for mom. I called her several times to add more pictures and another song and she was very understanding and patient with me. Mom’s Celebration of Life service was perfect. David was with us from the beginning until the end and made sure we had everything we needed. Stella was also compassionate when she gave me Mom’s ashes, the slideshow CD, thank you cards, laminated book marks with Mom’s obituary and all the info we would need to handle the legal part that has to be done after someone passes away. I can’t remember his name (Cory?) but the gentleman who brought the flowers to us the next day was also very sweet and even postponed coming out for an hour since we were not there. My sister has talked to Teresa several times since then and she has been a big help. I would definitely recommend Rogers and Breece to anyone who has a family member pass away. They are professional but at the same time compassionate and treated my mother with dignity which was very comforting in our time of loss and sorrow. Thank you Rogers and Breece for making a difficult time a bit easier. The family of Janet Bosworth Wicker
Maggie: We chose Rogers and Breece for my mother’s cremation. They were extremely compassionate and went out of their way to accommodate us. Lori was wonderful. Highly recommended.
Molly Sanchez: Larry Chason thank you for all you did for my dad's memorial service. You & the entire Roger's and Breece staff went above and beyond since well before he even passed away. You all made our lives so much easier during this difficult time and made sure he received the most top notch, first class service. Each of you from the funeral home went above and beyond and then more. We couldn't have chosen a better place for my daddy to be taken care of. You truly care about people.Thank you again soooo much.
Garlene Devone: I have only good things to say about this organization. The staff was warm and caribou and helped us during this difficult time. Thank you so much for making this difficult time for us a little bit easier. Thanks The family of SFC Arthur Lee Devone Jr.
Christian Eubanks: Nice place to take your deceased. They take good care of your family.
Daniel White: Don't use the ac during funurl ser
Neill Legg: The Breece family and staff treated us with such kindness and respect. Their care for us when each of our grandparents passed enabled us to celebrate their lives with honor, dignity, and love. Thank you all. The Vasquez, Scaturro, Legg and Davis families.
Sarah Schmitz: When you lose a family member the last thing you want to think about is the burial. But you have to.Rogers and Breece made it easy from beginning to end. They courteously, gently, and solicitously came to our home, helped us dress Daddy, and took him away. When planning the service there was no pressure to spend more than we wanted or to add extra “services.” We were lucky because we knew what Daddy would have wanted. We were lucky because Corey Breece and the staff listened to what we wanted. Our family has always used Rogers and Breece and if we need to we will use them again.I can highly recommend Rogers and Breece.
Debra Rosenberg: I am a member of Saint Ann Catholic Church. Our Church sustained damage from the Hurricane. We needed a place to worship. Rogers and Breece graciously opened up their Chapel for us to worship. I was so impressed by the beauty of the Chapel. The staff came in to assist in any way to help. What a great example of loving like Jesus!

Connie Dove Tucker: Our heartfelt thanks goes out to the entire staff of Rogers & Breece. The respect we were shown and "family-like" care is unsurpassed. We began a new friendship during our time of grief. My mama had made her final arrangements with you over 40 years ago and it made our task a little easier in the end. To Corey, David, Robert, Larry, Dee Dee, Judy and Lorie....."Our hearts were less burdened" because of your kindness and detailed attention to all our needs. To Rev. Archie Barringer...not only did you honor my mom and our family, you also became a friend to us. I know that God put you all in place for us and we will always be grateful and never forget any of you. With love and thankfulness to you all, we are the family of Florence M. Fowler.
Cindy Rogers: Very gracious and respectful.
Justin March: unprofessional
Jennifer Carlquist: This funeral home is wonderful. We first used them for my grandfather's funeral 6 years ago and were so pleased with their service, care and staff that we used them again for my grandmother's funeral this month. I personally can't imagine anyone saying a negative word about them because my families experience was so very positive. From the director to the limo driver everyone was absolutely amazing. I had to step out of the service at one point because my two year old started to get loud and when we were resting back in the viewing room he knocked over the largest vase of roses I had ever seen. Water and flowers were everywhere and two staff members named David and Billie came to my rescue. They cleaned up the huge mess with smiles and kindness and put the roses in two of there own vases. I really wanted to mention them by name because their response to me meant a lot. I don't live in Fayetteville and now I have no more family there but I would highly recommend using this funeral home for your families needs. Thank you so much Rogers and Breece. God bless you and your families.
Deanna Hollingsworth: I was shocked at how unprofessional this funeral home handled my father-in-laws arrangements. My mother-in-law told them exactly what she wanted and it seems they didn't really take note. First they over charged her and her pastor had to confront them on the charges to be reduced. He was being cremated and we were told that until they get the death certificate he could not be cremated, we found out that the information was not sent to the doctor but somewhere else so unfortunately we had to get involved to resolve this before the funeral. Then on the day his obituary was in the paper and on there web site we realized that the request for there to be donations to the church instead of flowers was not even listed, but on their site a pop up was shown to donate flowers and you could order through them. This was all so upsetting to my family, terrible to put a family through such heartache at a time like this. It has been decided that for any family services like this needed in the future will not be with Rogers and Breece! Save yourself and family added heartache don't use them.
Randy Parnell: Class act helped my family through a difficult time with grace and understanding. They have a large chapel connected to the viewing area. Locally owned and operated for generations.
Mia Learned: We wanted to bury my brother-in-law at this funeral home, but the cost for bare minimum service was high. They wanted to lay him on a slab naked with a sheet covering him before he got cremated. They wanted to charge us $3K just to embalm him. When my mother-in-law stated she was going to be taking him to Buie Funeral Home they told her that it was a black-owned funeral home. It wasn't what they said so much as the way that they said it to her. "You know that's a black funeral home, right?" (This is a quote from my mother-in-law). I don't know if you can see my picture, but I am black and, while my in-laws are white, they found this extremely offensive. Also, I'm sure they see a lot of black business so I don't understand that attitude. We still paid about $200 for them transporting him from the hospital to the funeral home. That was average price for this area.
