Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Fayetteville I-95, NC: what do users think?

Donna Holdrege: Great hotel, our second stay here.

Lockie Hunter: Clean and comfortable with a friendly staff and a very clean pool! Review includes a few tips.We live in the mountains, and we traveled five hours here because my son had flight lessons at a local aviation facility. As with most of these hotel chains, I am always looking for a pool and a free breakfast. So many of these hotels chains are similar, and what will differentiate them for me is the breakfast, pool and the friendliness of the staff.I’ll start with some tips and then move onto the review.1. Ask the front desk for towels for the pool. No need to bring your towels from your room.2. Breakfast ends promptly at nine. Promptly. If you want breakfast food, then you’ll need to arrive before closing.3. There is very little shade at the pool until late afternoon. There is only one table with an umbrella, so if you want to sit by the pool, and have any sort of shade, then get there early and grab it. Oddly, there are a couple of umbrellas and tables sitting out across from the pool near the parking lot. *n.b. I was there on a weekday, and only a few people came into the pool, so it’s not like there was a mad dash of people fighting for the one table. But I imagine if it was a weekend, it would be better to move one of those two tables with umbrellas into the pool area (there was room for at least one more table).4. For some reason, there’s no recycling anywhere in the facility. It could just be that there is no Recycling in the city, but it felt really odd throwing away our cans and bottles and the newspapers after we used them.5. Cereal stays out all day, which is wonderful for snacks. There are also bananas and apples out all day and three different types of juices. The cookies didn’t come out until about noon, but then they stayed out until really late at night. If it looks a little bit barren, go around the corner to where everything else on the breakfast bar was and you will see the fruit and cereal still out.ReviewStaff: We arrived after midnight and the person who greeted us was not only lovely, but he was funny and interesting and joked with us a lot and was super helpful in telling us where we should park that late at night (helping us find a luggage cart etc). The morning staff was no different. The person at the front desk was nice and helpful, supplied me with a pen for the crossword and a few other items that I needed.Rooms:The rooms were clean and modern and felt new. No, it wasn’t updated and renovated yesterday, but it certainly felt like the fixtures and the tiles and the bedding were fairly new. if they were not new, then, at a minimum, they were very well taken care of. Often, there will be broken tiles or a bit of mildew starting to collect in the bathroom, stained carpets, etc. This hotel, at least our room, seemed to be in great shape.Facilities:The pool is outdoors, and, again, I was the only person there until the late afternoon. They have a very small business meeting room, which my husband used in the morning (so as not to wake us with early morning phone calls) but it is not something sustainable that you could do work in, because it is open to the lobby. So if you are looking for a place and you need a different room to do business, this is not your place. The exercise room seem to be functional, but I did laps in the pool instead.Walkability: You must have a car. I guess you could walk to the Starbucks down the street, but this is not really in a walkable area.
Carys Rubio: Hotel was great. Staff very friendly. Especially Tori, who hooked us up for our road trip to Florida. She was fantastic.Rooms: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 4/5Hotel highlights Quiet …More

Kera Stephens: The room smelled dingy, old and moldy and smelled of smoke. The phone in the room didn't even work to call the front desk. Had to use my personal phone to call down stairs. The AC was loud, had to turn it off to get quiet sleep. The fridge had a dripping sound also that disturbed our sleep. The front desk person was unsupportive in assisting with a 1 hour late check out request with a 6 month old baby. Will definitely not return and don't recommend this hotel. The furniture was dusty and had not been dust. Save your money and book at a better, cleaner hotel. The room smelled dingy, old and moldy and smelled of smoke. Hilton Garden Inn Fayetteville/Fort Bragg: what do users think?
Justin Carbone: Perfect
Emily Lemons: My family and I stayed 4 days and 3 nights. Sheets were not clean. Entire family woke up with swollen eyes from dirt and allergies, even after spraying microban! Last day my family and I stayed, we were not given new linen. One room has used tissues between the towels. Refrigerator did not work so my father had to keep his insulin in a cooler the entire time! Chair was broken and my father almost hurt himself and he is disabled. Room temperature would not stay adjusted so we had trouble sleeping in heat. Attempted to connect to the Wi-Fi but it continued to say “error”. Gian was sweet and advised we paid for B&B but when we attempted to get breakfast the first day, the lady working in the kitchen hounded us saying we did not pay for breakfast. When I gave my room number and name she did not believe it was my name on the room. My sister needed merely a muffin so that she could take her meds, and was screamed at saying she needed to pay! Melissa was kind enough to speak with us on the matter, we will never return to a Hilton, especially in NC. We all know that none of you will fix this issue, so stop implying that you will improve. DISGUSTED with the overall stay.
Carol Dogget: Very friendly. Clean and spacious.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Quiet …More
Michelle Corbin: A wonderful hotel! Modern, very clean and excellent customer service. The rooms were immaculate and well stocked with all the little amenities. They have a small onsite bar and served continental breakfast in the morning. Not a buffet. Price ranges from 10-18$ depending on what you order. I stayed in a king bedroom and it was huge! Lots of parking and places around to eat. I’m a diamond member and was very pleased with this hotel and customer service. The town is a little dodgy, but I felt safe at this hotel and would stay here again.Rooms: Clean, modern and well stocked.Food & drinks: Lots of places around nearby to grab food and drinks. Hotel has onsite bar.
Henrietta Lamb (Lambchop622): Very clean which is most important but there were so many things to love about this spot. Modern furniture, and excellent lighting including reading lights. Big TV, fridge, microwave, comfortable bed right amount of pillows, and the shower was the best hotel shower ever. I could say more but you should visit this place yourself. My only complaint is the water pressure at the sink was too low.
Twaniqa Brown: My stay here was absolutely perfect. Very nice and clean place.Rooms: Nice roomsHotel highlights Quiet, Great value …More
Brittany SD: The rennovation has really changed the hotel! My last stay was in the old hotel and this time , I was impressed ! Brand new beds , showers and furniture . They now serve FRESH breakfest with cook to order eggs included with the Gov Rate .Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Edward Yee: Stay away at all costs. You know what's it's like. You drive all day on your vacation. It's 930pm, all you want to do is get some rest, the kids have been at it all day in the small confines of your car. You finally get to your hotel, only to find out that the third party app, which guaranteed you 2 beds in the room, only has a king, unless you want to pay for an upgrade to a queen. Are you kidding me? Why can't this be fixed at check in. Why do you have to squeeze every nickel out of us? Extremely disappointed in the Hilton brand and at hotel management. You've lost a customer FOREVER !
Anthony Herbert: The room was good but not what I've come to expect from a Hilton hotel. The bed was uncomfortable, and pillows squash flat instantly. The breakfast was not good and overpriced.Rooms: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Quiet …More
Brittney Barnett: Beautiful roomsRooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Romantic, Quiet …More
Grey: Very nice stay here. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The room was clean, bathroom was clean, bed sheets were clean, and no signs of bugs. Towels were nice, tissues had a nice little flower in them. AC worked really well and had a nice digital wall control. The room had a safe, microwave, mini fridge, and Keurig coffee machine.Excellent experience. 5 stars. c:
