Abby C: We bought what we thought was a beautiful home in February. After seeing home after home, nothing compared to the façade that this home put off. So naturally we purchased this home since it was the best one we saw. After we moved in, we began to notice little things here and there where corners were obviously cut when doing the work. My personal favorite was finding out on July 4th that whoever installed the baseboards had shot a nail straight into the main waterline going upstairs and that the nail had worked loose and was now spewing water inside the kitchen wall. Great July 4th right? The plumber let us keep the pipe that still had the nail lodged in it. I've also been told that the beautiful floors were not put down correctly which we started to suspect after we noticed the inconsistent spacing in the floors. And the trim. The trim is already bubbling and peeling as if it wasn't sanded or clean before painting them. This has also occurred on the kitchen cabinets. We also have had paint bubble in a few places on the walls which again means either proper sanding wasn't done or if it was done, the walls weren't clean when they applied paint. And the grout in the master bath is already cracking too along with the fact that when you actually feel the tiles, they aren't level. There is a HUGE wave in the tile. And the faucet in that tub wasn't installed correctly either because we have to put it to cold in order to get hot water. And on top of all of this, I still can't get the windows open that they painted when redoing the house. We put it in the contract to have all the windows cut and opened prior to closing. All were cut but that doesn't mean that you can open them. One window was even damaged from where they struggled to open it; which we have since fixed.This is our first house and I am so disappointed. I thought I was buying a finished house but now I will have plenty of things to do fix the problems that have arisen. Floors, trim, tile, patching the wall from the water leak; the list continues.

A couple of months after moving in we came across a few unseen issues which needed repairs. I contacted Mr.Gardner who assured me that he was unaware of these issues or he would have taken care of them. He was very apologetic and even offered to reimburse us for the unexpected expenses. He followed through because yesterday I received a check in the mail. This man really stands behind his products! I would highly recommend him to anyone!!

Rachael Finlayson: We have been in our brand new OnSite home since about June 2020. Words can't express how wonderful the process was to deal with Ned and his team. We were able to choose wonderful finishes for our home and we are constantly getting complements on how beautiful the home is. The team was amazing dealing with construction through COVID and was able to navigate the difficulties that it presented with ease. I was initially concerned with a new construction as I've lived in an older Haymount home for 10 years and was scared the new home would lack character. From the wrought iron stair case, arched door casing and corbels and the beautiful crown molding we aren't lacking for character at all. The home is structurally sound and it is an amazing feeling to not have to worry what system in my home is going to fail next. I would recommend OnSite Homes to anyone.

Patricia Thomas: Onsite homes, Nathaniel Johnson, owner, purchased the last lot in Edgewood’s Farm, Grays Creek, Hope Mills NC, built a home and huge garage, and destroying drainage ditch that drained my home next door causing severe flooding in our right side of yard, and Crawlspace, of which required a drainage system to be installed at our expense due to his negligence. We have had the county out here twice, two Engineers, multiple landscaping companies, Crawlspace experts, asking what happened to the “ditch” that drained our property, it was destroyed by Onsite, and what would be needed to fix this.all options to fix our home was extremely costly. We have never flooded before or we would have fixed it. We have attempted to work with Onsite to no avail as he will not assume responsibility to fix his mistake the right way, thus sending us legal paperwork to sign in Jan, 2019 before he would attempt to fix, which we were advised by legal counsel not to sign, as Onsite would not make sure the flooding was fixed and has done nothing for over a year. This company also left large amounts of debris in the main ditch that drained several other properties causing others land to flood. The new owners took possession of their home in Dec 2018, from this builder, and to date this company has done nothing to fix anything, but empty promises. Legal action is now Our only option after spending thousands of dollars fixing what he destroyed and damages we have sustained. Please, get every single word in writing before using this builder. He has been sued before. Not a BBB member. This company was not our builder. We are his victims. Onsite LLC bought the last lot in this development on private property and in our opinion, as an Active duty service member, stationed at Fort Bragg, we are not from here, this guy should never be permitted to do what he has done to us and should be forced to fix our propertywithout having to hire legal counsel to fight for what is right as it costs more money to go to court. This is where we are at today.

I have lots wittness.. cutting corners in a expensive home.. my floor is squeezing and 2 boards fall apart.. of course non fix.. now I sit and wait how far it goes.. that's not LEGAL right.....my reply: the coupon doesnt need to be scratched of to see if its expired... you can clearly see it.. i have did everything they asked me to do... i took closed pictures.. some got replied back some not... my bathrooms are very clean.. some paint is even on the sink that i just see to apear ... i also i did not break my door,, the ugly black tape is not there for beauty is peeling off.. it was there to not let paint on the glass and they left it there for to long so now is peeling off and takes bubbles... i had a professional painter that explained everything..i could not file a proper claim because the website of the builder didnt let me find my adress or number.. my floor is sqeezing very bad... the professional floor installer said he wrote down what you guys need to do.. i have wittness what he said.. alot of my issues i emailed but no reply back...nails on my wall is supposed to be taking away,,, please look at our list that we made with rhonda that needet to be fixed.. half of them wasnt.. also i sayd 3 months after we moved in about the paint.. example our door is loosing paint that was in april.. the painter doesnt seem to excist

Katie-Ann Roach: GRH homes built a top notch product! Our custom built home was a little more difficult and intricate with lots of details, arches and peaks! They took a design I created on power point and turned it into an actual architectural build! It was amazing to see if go from paper to product! They had us choose all of our selections from the beginning which we loved because there were no surprises throughout the build, all costs were accounted for up front with selections and we knew what we were getting! We did add and change some things along the way but they did a great job accounting for what needed to get done during that phase in the build. Gary, Kim and Jennifer made sure we were happy with all the details throughout and Lauren did an amazing job at the end wrapping it all up and getting it done! The key to a happy and satisfied buyer is making sure things are communicated and Lauren went above and beyond to communicate all the things we needed at the end. We absolutely love our home, all the details in it and are so happy we had GRH build our house! We had talked with them for a few years trying to figure out what we wanted to do and I’m glad we finally chose to build and build with them! 🏡 HIGHLY recommend working with this family group! Jackson Ferrell: We chose Gary Robinson Homes (GRH) to build our custom DREAM home and we are so thankful we did! Building a custom home is never an easy process but the crew at GRH did their best to see that we had the home we envisioned.I will say that the custom construction process is very involved and can be stressful at times- but to us it was worth it. They were able to build our home from start to finish in less than 10 months!Some specific things I think they do exceptionally well, which were critical to our satisfaction:- detailed spec & cost estimate for our home- clearly showed what we would be getting for our $$$, (most builders’ upgrades are GRH’s standards)-100% Smart Home, that’s right: from the Video Doorbell to the WiFi thermostat, did I mention CAT6 wired to every room in the house??? I can even control my garage doors from my phone when I’m away! Amazing! All of these options are included in the homes they build.- Gary and his wife Kim were very responsive to questions / calls / emails regarding anything I needed.-Lauren was great and gave her honest opinion on what her thoughts were while we were going back and fourth between choosing colors, light fixtures etc..- everyone we dealt with was ethical and considerateDid things sometimes have to be discussed and corrected? Yes - and GRH ALWAYS took the time to work with me, explain things, and make corrections/changes when needed. They are a quality group of people to work with and stand by their work, as evidenced by my review and many others...Thank you to Gary Robinson, his wife Kim, daughter Lauren; construction manager Bobby, Warranty Manager Eva and the rest of GRH for a great experience!

W Staf: Multiple issues with the home.Lots of Corners cut!Nails were left exposed on the roof.Shower head rusted out after 6 months.Siding under deck fell off because it was not secured properly.Broken pieces of plywood used in the Attic.Insulation in crawl space not secured properly and was falling off.Shower was poorly designed so water would splash on paint resulting in mold and peeling paint.Home was built without a pressure-reducing valve resulting in multiple plumbing issues.Employee of GRH lied about property boundaries, Gary Robinson himself stood in my yard and said he would get the situation resolved (he never did anything about it).Improper vapor barrier causing excessive moisture under the home causing multiple issues with AC circuit board.Light in the ceiling was not secured properly and just fell out of the ceiling.You might want to think twice before having a home built by Gary Robinson.----------IN RESPONSE TO THE OWNER-----------You are 100% correct homeowner maintenance is extremely important especially when buying a Gary Robinson home. You will need to ensure a lot of corners aren't being cut like trying to save $25 by using broken pieces of wood. Also you will need to ensure they install a pressure-reducing valve in your home so the pressure of the water does not exceed what the pipes are rated for. It's also probably a good idea to get in the attic, move every piece of insulation and check every single light fixture to ensure they don't use broken mounting brackets that they tried to jerry-rig together in order to save $4 (this can be time-consuming and extremely dangerous so be careful not to fall through the ceiling).Most of this happened in 2012/2013 and after multiple phone calls and an in person meeting with Gary Robinson himself most of the issues were never fixed. I'm sure Gary Robinson is an extremely busy person that's probably why these issues were never fixed and why it took 8 months for you to reply to this review.At this point I'm not trying to have any of these issues fixed (I've already hired and paid someone for that). I'm just trying to share my experience with others so they know what to look for when purchasing one of your beautiful homes.

robert golliher: Scheduled an estimate and they never showed up. Not only did they not show up but made no effort to contact me and let me know they wouldn't make it. I called them and no one answered. I will tell you in my experience, a company that doesn't respond or value your business will not deliver the quality you would expect. Help is hard to find these days!UPDATE** Company called to reschedule and make it right. I passed and chose not to hire them because first impressions mean a lot to me but at least they called back.UPDATE #2** Owner of the company called me and essentially tried to bully me into giving them a five star review saying that them missing their appointment has nothing to do with their quality of work. They then continue to say that I was mistaken about my appointment date even though I took off work to meet them and gave them an hour past their time and left them multiple messages. The time they SAY was my appointment, I was out of town for so I would have never scheduled the appointment then. They also said that I will get a bad review one day for my business as well for Mad Dog Powersports. Sorry man, I won't because I treat each customer with the utmost respect and value their business, not just the high paying customers. I would like to see proof of when YOU scheduled my appointment because I can guarantee you cannot offer any. Lastly, the bottom line is his family member in charge of scheduling made a mistake and he cannot handle a bad review based on poor business. There are multiple reviews now that say THEY messed up their schedule and cant keep appointments. Poor business and customer service all around.

Randy Beard: Riverstone renovated our kitchen recently. They were great. They worked with us on our design and made our ideas come true.They are very professional and responsive. When there were any issues they quickly addressed them. They communicated with us and kept us informed every step of the way.They went out of their way to keep our kitchen functional for as long possible by building a temporary counter and sink.I definitely would use them again.Service:Remodeling

Skeeter Bmw: Two different projects. Same outstanding results. Quality window replacement, not big box or Window World. Energy bill has decreased substantially. Noise from outside reduced. Wish it had been done earlier. Second was a door replacement. Better door and added dead bolt. If there is a third project I'll only make one call. Want it right and quality, Jassan is the one to call.

Juliana Myers: The front facade of our house was worked on due to storm and rainwater damage. Riverstone Construction spent about 2 weeks working on it. 2 interior long sturdy 19 ft pine wood pylons were made on site to stabilized the the front facade. 6 older glass panes were removed and replaced with 6 better quality wood framed Jeld Wynn glass panes. Outside front facade woodtrim was all replaced as needed and restained to match the outside stain color. Interior trim work was redone as need and restained to match. Jasson Robbins has David and Jacob working hard as Master carpenters. Beautiful carpentry woodwork. Another Jason stained the outside and inside finished woodwork. Turned out amazing. Front facade work turned out solid and beautiful. Inside and out our loghome looks more classy, than just rustic. We recommend Riverstone Construction for all kinds of building needs or work. Out of all the estimates I had I’m thankful I chose Riverstone Construction!! They have knowledge and they don’t rush you to get a sell!! Isaiah Dixon: Great company and staff. Danielle and Jassan were really easy to work with. I got my estimates and consultation within 48 hrs of the initial appointment to see the damages of my roof. Juan and his roofing team did an amazing job on our new Driftwood colored roof. They started a day late, but had the roof done in less than 2 days. They left the work site immaculately cleaned as if they were never there. I will use Riverstone for all my future construction needs.
