NCCEED - Center for Economic Empowerment & Development: what do users think?
Yeniz Parton: I appreciate all the help I have gotten from CEED so far. I can actually say my business wouldn't be where it is if it wasn't for all the support and guidance provided by you guys.
Weedman Wrapup: They can be great for businesses but for housing TERRIBLE. Rude staff (Director and front desk person) They are fake as it can be, I will never recommend this office for Housing.
Cypress: Amazing folks in there that go massively above and beyond to help you and your goals. I can't recommend them enough and they're 100% a MUST HAVE for your business. At a bare minimum go see what they have to offer or what they can do!
Ashia Harmon: It was a great first time experience. Thank you.
Frozen Fire: Wish i had check reviews before i applied for there housing ..they did the same to me approve n lied about it they made me an appointment to give money get keys n take a buget class when i went she said the lady who had the keys was off that day now they wont return my calls..i gave my landlord 30 day notice cause they told me too cause we had the house they approve us for, WHAT IS GOING ON WITH THESE PEOPLE?
Angie Bolden: Applied for an affordable apartment and was told by the receptionist that there was 1 unit left and that I shouldn't have a problem getting it. She also said that the intake person would review it and that they would call me for an interview..waited 5 days..no call..called and was asked for my number for the intake lady to call me back..she never called..a week later I finally got to speak with her..and she askedme my income...AGAIN..it was all on my application which she probably never read...and said.."Sorry..you don't make enough to pay the rent plus utilities...this is supposed to be low income for people with disabilities..I have a disability! Was NOT referred to any other places or anything! Got an email from the Director saying she was sorry and that I could fill out another application!!.. WHAT?! AGAIN?..So she could ignore me ..AGAIN..for another week...?...
Jally Pink: My experience was terrible....I applied for there housing program and got approve twice. Yes twice!! but when it came time to pay my deposit, first month rent n sign lease. They came up with excuses and lies..i know two other people personally who they played the same games with around the same time..they even approved one of those ladies for the same house they approved me for at the same time..ceed came later told her one thing and told me another..they claim they lost my application come fill out another one which i did, they approve me again..when it came time to pay deposit, first month rent, and sign lease again..here go more excuses and lies..make a long story short i was very disappointed in the ceed organization..if you are disable or are low-income dont waste your time they will approve you and take you through hassle to get the house but you wont get it..(however they can assist you with learning how to run a business, write business plan if u do not know how to research on your own or haven't went to school to learn about business, business loans etc..)..again i say if you are disable or are a low-income family do not waste your time..but i still thank them for this experience with them being an organization.. $$$
Patricia Long: One day I signed up for Ceed Housing program and was told to complete the application for housing. I provided the needed documents, & never heard from them. They said, it’s not credit based, but help individuals who have challenges in their credit & income it’s all a lie.
Peggy T: I went here before losing my kids and I previous rental and I felt like I got nowhere/pushed off here in Jan/Feb. I took the orientation class in April and applied for housing, long story short I got 2 different stories in why the rental didnt pass inspection from 2 ppl. I was told the rental didnt pass inspection after I signed the lease & was left to read over the lease alone! The positive side is that they'll work with you on your deposit, but I believe in my opinion that this may be a better place if your looking to start your business from the reviews. Just make sure you get all the facts and look at the house before saying yes!!! Im still looking forward to whats going to happen...waiting on housing to do their part..It takes a while to get your deposit back....
Letoya Easterling: CEED IS A GREAT PLACE FOR BUSINESS NOT FOR LOW-INCOME HELPING PROGRAM NEVER SAID THEY GO BY YOUR CREDIT FOR SERCUITY DEPOSIT THEY SAID BY INCOME AND THEN IT WAS 2 DEPOSIT IN ONE NOT INCLUDING FIRST MONTH RENT!!WOW WHAT A NIGHTMARE.. WASTE MY 60.00 FOR CREDIT CHECK
Devan Adams: Great place to start with. Will inform you how to start up your business into what steps to take.
strawberry jackson: Rude staff no help
Nyree Henderson: Great help for small businesses
Shannon Gibson: Sita (sorry if it is spelled wrong) was a blessing
Zulma Rodriguez: Worst place ever and service, the new director very rude to people no respect, my husband is the one with the experience because I wouldn’t give the satisfaction to talk to me in that way, my husband is a gentleman thanks to God! They will never be like the older staff, they deserve zero but to write a review you have to give one and I want to finished saying that because people have degrees mean they’re educated!
For Keepsakes: CEED is a great place for small businesses. There is a wealth of knowledge to be found for free! I really appreciate that they are here for us. Thanks CEED for empowering a local small minority, veteran and woman owned business like mine with the knowledge I need to better my business.
Quetta Richard: Everyone has great attitudes.
Art y Son con Tania: A hidden gem!! The services they provide to the community and our entrepreneurs is amazing
Jenny Matthews: Great service for the people in the community. Knowledgeable and friendly. They go the extra mile to help you succeed. Fantastic resource!
Hayat Hakim: The CEED family is one of a kind. Not only do they support all the small businesses downtown but all over the Fayetteville area. This nonprofit organization has workshops, classes and counseling available to all. They create fun local events and are eager to share any events or happenings in Fayetteville. They love seeing small businesses succeed and have a passionate staff!
Chris Kenon: CEED is a hidden gym in this community. They offer free services, have a wealth of knowledge, and provide valuable resources. I especially appreciate being able to consult with my business counselor on a variety of topics such as business plan writing, marketing, and finances. If you are interested in starting a business, or want to grow your current business, you should absolutely go to CEED.

Cumberland County Community Development: what do users think?
lynn frazier: Had our house remodeled through this program. Only regrets. Our roof still leaks. It didn't before they "fixed" it. Our floors are different levels and the linoleum is peeling.
