Amanda Bray: I have to say the Dr. and Vet tech with the short brightly colored hair on duty yesterday evening are 100% heaven sent. They did all they could to make sure that my sweet Beethoven was taken care of. But sadly he was beyond their help in the end. The Dr was so sweet and loving towards my boy when she was examining him. The vet tech was by my side the entire time and held me when I could barely stand up. They truly are great women, extremely professional and so very loving towards the people and their fur babies.

Tammy Thompson: Everyone was very nice. Place was very clean and nice The wait of course was very long due to them being very busy . I did have to wait awhile for test results too but no one came to tell me results until they came to tell me what medicines they were sending me home with. I had to ask for test and x-ray results which were all mostly good thankfully but no one had told me so I had worried something was wrong or happened after my cat had been sedated.. After getting home and looking over the paper work sent home I found 2 different medications instructions. I was told wrong and wrong instructions were printed on the bottle. Good thing I took the time to read threw the paper work and caught it as the correct instructions were totally different. I guess mistakes happen but with medicine to hard kind of scary.; Update !! When I called to ask about the two different directions I got they actually checked on it and sent me a third totally different directions! Makes you wonder what happened , why???

Cameron Smith: They have horrible people working here, that couldn’t give any care towards your animals. Last night (the 8th of July) we took our dog there because she was in pain and profusely bleeding out of her ear, and it wasn’t stopping. They gave us a wait time of 6 hours before their 2 doctors would even look at them. And their nurses came out to treat our dog and took no care as to wether it would hold and the bleeding would stop. We called multiple times while I held my dogs ear shut to keep it from bleeding, and they still never gave us a room. Don’t go here, the workers have no remorse.

She’s helped us out tremendously and still is and I can’t thank her enough during these tough times. Her ambition, passion, and dedication is not unseen!

T S: I brought my 18 year old cat that was having a hard time breathing in at 1am. They took her back immediately. Unfortunately she was having heart failure and there was nothing they could do. They let me spend the last few min with her. 😔 she started gasping for air and I had requested them to help her pass. They were fast and so patient with us. They were so nice even with everything that happened. They allowed us to sit until we were ready to leave. Such a wonderful staff. ❤️ Please don't loose that compassion.

Paige Haywood: Took my two cats there because we expected both had a upper respiratory infection. Took almost 3 hours just to be seen and paid 313$ just to be told "They'll be fine, we rather them not take antibiotics because it can make it worse and we rather have them fight it on their own." Thankfully the younger cat fought it off but our older one has such gooey eyes that they're basically closed shut at times. They also told us that our oldest cats front tooth was chipped and the pulp could be seen and that I need to get X-RAYS and a possible tooth extraction. We took him to our primary vet and they said it was only chipped and didn't require anything. So yay for trying to get more money out of us.

Dakota Millsap: Dr. Schillig and every single one of his techs made us and our little Finn feel like family. During an almost 72 hour stay, Dr Schillig discussed every single option for care and the the associated cost.We could tell at every visit that Finn was receiving the best care. Dr. Schillig did the surgery himself and took extra good care of our pup. The bill was hefty, but not nearly as bad as we thought given the extended stay, surgery, and 24/7 care Finn received. 100% will return, but I hope we never have to.

Taylor Carroll: My baby was very sick. I honestly didn’t think she would make it on the way there. They got her straight to the back and began working on her fast. Alex was phenomenal and her kindness and compassion helped tremendously during a very difficult time. Facility was very clean and the staff was very friendly. Kay Pasch: My Gucci boy started breaking out in hives and chewing his skin recently. I called up and spoke with the receptionist Megan who was able to get me in early the next morning to see Dr. Poole! The visit was quick and efficient. She was very informative about his skin and the problems he had going on. We decided to go with a cytopoint injection to help with allergies and also a small steroid shot to combat his hives! Amanda was my tech who showed my boy lots love and gave him some good cookies while he was getting his shots! After our visit he got some good back scratches and kisses in from the reception ladies. Dr. Poole and all of her staff are great and treated us like family!

Angie Quist: My initial reason for calling was concerning a medication that was prescribed to my fur baby by Dr Short. Dr Short was defensive from the get go. I asked her a question and she said, “Oh, I don’t know what I’m giving this for?” I said, “No, that was a question, what are you giving this medication for.” As I was speaking with Dr Short about concerns I had with this office over the past year she listened about the front desk phone skills and rudeness, the concerns I had about the multitude of medication being given, but when I stated I felt they were more concerned about the money than the care of our pets she said, “I’m gonna cut you off right there, you will not speak to me that way.” She acted as if I had said something vulgar to/about her instead of understanding these were my feelings based off of experiences I’ve had with them. She continued to talk over me and nothing was resolved. My animals will be taken somewhere that we are not shuffled in and out like cattle due to having more clients than they can properly care for, somewhere that they don’t throw several different medications at you because they want to mask the symptoms vs getting down to the root problem. These are our babies and to be treated the way we are is unacceptable especially at the prices you’re charging.

Becky Lavendier: Ok. I've been trying to figure out my wording. I let the major sorrow pass. I let the anger pass. I've finally gotten over the lack of compassion for life from the first vet I spoke to.Cross Creek Animal Hospital on Skibo Road in Fayetteville is one of the worst vets I've ever come across. They were quick at diagnosing Lily. But they completely disconnect from pet and owner. I'm not sure if because Lily's diagnosis and my despair or if that's how they always are.But seeing how the ladies at X-Way Road Animal Hospital, PLLC were with Lily and myself, that showed me how disconnected Cross Creek really was. They made sure Lily was comfortable and approached her in a calm and loving manner and answered all my questions concerns and was very sympathetic to my concerns. I could see their love for our loved fur babies, and the love for fur baby caretakers.The one thing I can not get a hold of... The price difference.... Cape Fear was saying up to $2200... Where at X-Way the same thing was $447!!!! For less monitory gain..... Less then 25% Lily received not only the best care, compassion, love, and healing environment. I was also able to share my concerns. They were even there to answer all my questions with compassion. I felt how much they loved their job, environment and clients ((the babies).The thing that hit me hardest with Cape Fear Animal Hospital is their scheduler. Or "technician".I was told on Friday a week ago... If Lily closed and could no longer pass the bacteria, she would need the emergency surgery or she would die..Saturday after they closed, so did Lily. On Monday I called, and was told a "technician" would call me to schedule her emergency surgery. I still, a week later have not been called to set Lily up for emergency surgery.I can't stress enough. For our most precious comrade's deserve the best care because they give us the best care. Research vets and get to know them first and please stay away from Cape Fear Animal Hospital.

Rodriguez Machado: After calling multiple times after 7:00 AM, I still have not been able to get a hold of a representative. Considering I need to know if I can get my dog into the vet ASAP, I can’t even get someone on the phone to ask about it this is absurd. This should not be happening especially when the phone says they’re closed but it is well past 7 AM on a Saturday. If this is a policy that no one answers after 7 they need to make that clear or have someone by the phone.

Dymond Spain: Even though this is not an urgent care facility, the staff saw me in urgent need of help and they jumped in and gave my fur child the care she needed when I didn’t have anywhere else to take her. They were all very kind and the vet took her time and explained everything that was happening and everything that I needed to do moving forward. I am forever appreciative of their help and I trust that they will help any dog that comes through their door as best as they can under the circumstances.

Chelsea Bogue: I have to give these guys a huge shoutout. I’ve always brought my cat Smudge here and they’ve always given him the utmost care, but recently a friend has given me a cat who needed emergency care, and they made sure he was seen as soon as they opened the next day.They did the surgery, neutered him, sent us home with medications, and saved me hundreds of dollars any chance they could. Not only that, they’ve agreed to do any check-ups I needed, and even called me to check up on him and make sure he was doing okay.The front staff and technicians are always polite, always very informative when it comes to what medications do and how to take them, they give papers that describe what was done during the surgery and how you should care for them, they’re all around just wonderful people, and I’m so thankful I found them.Thank you Cross Creek Animal Hospital for always going above and beyond, you have a forever client in me 3

The office staff was so patient and kind to scared little Maggie and made sure they eased in slowly and gave Maggie time to feel safe before checking for a chip or starting vaccine shot. Sara Sealey: Is 0 stars an option? Ambassador refused to see my dog after she had been stung by bees. Our vet had already closed. Ambassador was the closest, quickest location for us to get to. I called Ambassador around 5:15 to ask if they would see us since we weren't established clients, put me on hold after she told me they would probably decline, then they referred us to Points East. I called Points East, they didn't open until 6:00. I called Ambassador back and pleaded for them to see Daisy since Points East didn't open until 6:00, but they still denied us. Said they didn't have a place for her to stay overnight if she needed to. I told them we needed immediate help, not worried about overnight. Still no. Daisy passed away around 5:50 and Ambassador was still open. Ambassador may not have been able to do anything to save Daisy, but why would you not make an attempt after I called 3 times pleading with you?RIP sweet Daisy.

Valerie: I understand COVID-19 and the need for clinics to have curbside pickup. Dr. King who used to work at Ambassador, also had an understanding for elderly and certain case by case and the need for owners to be with their Animals. Dr. King is gone now, they are not telling me the how or why, or where she went. Yes, we survived the stress of my 16 yr old blind, and ill kitty that is terrified of the Vet. Stress is real, the times are full of stress, just give me more information and not misinformation and I might handle it better. I 3 my fur babies. When we work together, things will be better. I Love Ambassador because we found our our Angel in "Angel" our Vet Tech, who helped us through this difficult process to include the loss of Romeo our beloved kitty. We still have our Zoe who like Angel now says to her Zoe is her Diva. With COVID-19 and the stress of not being with her I could not imagine having Angel taking care of my Zoe. Thank you again you truly are an Angel, as well as the rest of the staff. I might feel the same about the Doc's one day when I get to sit in the same room again with them but for now I have you to give me comfort that my animals are well cared for. ~Valerie3/29/2023Update- We lost our beautiful Zoe on Aug 22,2022 but we are very blessed to have beautiful new babies in our family, first we have Millie, she kinda found us she was born 6/30/2022 she is amazing and loved Zoe. Dara Malerba: Last night I came home to find my dog lethargic, vomiting and barely able to stand. In a panic I grabbed my keys and him and got to the vet closest to my home, thankfully it was Ambassador.It was a little after 5pm when I walked in - I knew they closed at 6, they aren’t my regular vet and the emergency vet didn’t open for another hour. I was concerned that my dog wouldn’t have an hour to wait.I got about three sentences out to the front desk when one of the girls emerged from a side office and told me to go get him from the car. I brought him in and she took him back for an assessment while I gave my information to the front desk.They got me into an exam room and because of the layout of the office I could hear them talking to and about my dog. They were SO LOVING. They were comforting him, and I could see them petting and hugging him from the exam room.They ran blood work, did a full exam and got him prepped to be moved to another vet to be monitored for the night.The kindness, professionalism, and complete care for me and my dog as a walk in at the end of the day meant so much to me.Like most people, our pets are a huge part of our family and I was terrified when I walked into their office. I left feeling like I could have hugged each one of the staff.I am transferring my dogs records and will be returning to Ambassador.

Clark Gardner: Dr garret is a nice caring man..he always took care of my chihuahua milo..he fixed his hip as a puppy when it got broken..this place however does not know much about ferrets and does not claim to..let me be clear they never said they did ferrets here..I was able to get their shots done but anything else would have to be handled at an exotic vet in Raleigh..Dr Garret did allow me to put my ferret to sleep..I wish he had sedated him 1st and allowed him to fall asleep in my arms like I asked..but I guess he did what he thought was the quickest and least painful..over all I would recommend this place to anyone with a dog and cat

I drove from Virginia to North Carolina to see the veterinarian. They did an ultrasound and found a mass on my Siberian husky liver. They offered chemotherapy to treat the cancer.

camari vanessa: Front staff us amazing wish I had gotten nurses name, everyone was so nice and welcoming..after a major scare, my poor baby went into cardiac arrest and flat lined for 2-3 min thankfully we had an amazing vet and team by his side that brought my baby back to us & monitored him all night long keeping us posted on his progress we are so vary thankful for Dr garret !! We wish we lived closer to have him as our every day vet but with his type of care and compassion it is most definitely worth the drive!!Love love love this office would 10000x recommend

Jessica Covington: This hospital is not just full of staff but pure angels that help me with my doggo. I came in for a medical emergency and was able to be seen in a timely manner. They were able to get my dog into surgery the same day and was kind enough to call me and let me know when she came out of surgery. Thank you so much for taking care of my fur baby 💕

Marguerite Golobish: While the staff are very knowledgeable if you need to take your pet, plan on taking half the day off. They book more appointments then they can handle. I waited an hour just to pick my dog up after surgery. If I go for shots it is an hour past appointment time to get to a room, then another 30 minutes once your in there. My anxiety level is through the roof after 2 hours in that place.

Regina Sherman: Very busy but efficient vet office. They have a system that works for the influx of animal patients they have every day. The staff has always been courteous.
