Extended Stay America - Fayetteville - Owen Dr.: what do users think?
anthony escobedo: Broken dressers, no room service, roaches, weed and cigarette smell in every room, doors work 10% of the time, homeless people always roaming around. And always issues with reservations and charging. Had our card charged twice for the room and the following week had us charged 100 dollars more than the original price.Rooms: 1/5|Service: 2/5|Location: 2/5 …More
Robert P. Mahoney Sr.: Dirty, huge flying roaches, load music, loitering, drug use, working glirls, etc. People staring you down like theyre hungry, etc. Gaps in the doors. Really needs renovations. Toilet takes a long time to refill.I wouldn't stay here again....Rooms: The worst.Safety: I didn't feel safe at all...Walkability: Plenty of walking. Shopping center, several restaurants,Starbucks next door.Food & drinks: Various restaurants next door. Very good location.
Amra Murphy: I would like to start off with every hotel visit is what you make of it and the staff at that particular hotel. At the Owen drive location, the young man Jefferson at the from desk exceed my expectations. He went above and beyond for me. Very polite, accommodating, and knowledgeable. He was very eger to help. I got checked into and about 10 mins later he came to the room and advised me that room didn’t have a microwave and with me staying for 30 days that he could switch me to a room that had a full kitchen. I agreed and we went back down stairs, He had me switched in a matter of minutes. I was having issues with my key cards and he was more than happy to help, even went as far as coming up to my room to check to make sure that the key cards were working and when they weren’t he went down and made me two more. I’m my opinion he single handily got this hotel a five star rating. I just wanted to give this young man his due credit. Great job please keep up the great work.
Amanda Bryant: Stayed here when our house burnt down. No room service. Have to wash your own towels, mopped my own floors day 2 and water was black, junkies running room to room and the smell of dog piss in the air. Only plus was room didn't have any bugs and close to restaurants and hospitalRooms: 4/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 1/5 …More

Jennifer Purdie: I'm having my 50th birthday party here in Fayetteville and was looking for some hotels close to the venue that some of my guests could stay in for one night. I decided to read through the reviews to assist with making my decision because when driving through the parking lot this morning something just didn't set right with me. Wow! I would have truly been embarrassed to have sent any of my family and friends to this hotel location. They would have been better off sleeping in their car. Thank you so much for sharing your experiences.
raymond mobley: The place was nasty dirty shower did not work in room 309 garbage was piled upRooms: 1/5|Service: 1/5 …More
ricardo ramos: At least the front desk was helpful and courteous. Rooms are another topic. Roaches and cigarette odor all over the place. People smoke inside, next to the doors and in the aisle.Rooms: Need to do better with the odor and the roaches.
Chris Young: Paid $160 for one night. Lock on door locked me out half a dozen times in 12 hours. Not exaggerating. AC in room didn't work. Other guests were having problems with locks, too.I was delayed over an hour getting the hell out of there. My first and last stay at Extended.
Kamrun Green: They couldn't pay me $90 to stay here again!Between the cigarette smell, general dirtiness, people yelling and beating on doors half the night and the cockroach that skittered across the floor. My girlfriend was begging me to leave in the middle of the night! ..I've stayed in over 100 hotels in the last year and this is by far the worst and least clean. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Extended Stay America - Fayetteville - Cross Creek Mall: what do users think?
Marissa Thompson: The only elevator in the hotel was out of order sooooo they put us on the third floor. The freezer in our room had rust inside. The pull out couch had pee stains on both sides of the mattress. The door handle to our room broke and the shower made a really loud noise anytime you added cold water. Never again. Luckily we only had to stay for one night, BUT, never again.
Xanthe Mann: I was displaced from my home by a fire and had to find a place to stay during a holiday weekend. The staff was courteous, helpful and friendly. The military discount was also helpful.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Nicholas Williams: Management need to revisit. It was ok. But no breakfast as described and elevator not working. Its not a 5 star but things could be a whole lott better!Rooms: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Great value …More
Hansen Tan: I recently stayed at this hotel and unfortunately, I was disappointed with the room. The fire alarm was hanging off of the ceiling, one of the desk lamps didn't work, the toilet rocked back and forth, the hair dryer didn't work, the room phone didn't work, there were holes in the shower floor, and the floor next to it was water damaged. Despite reporting these issues to the front desk staff, they were not resolved during our week-long stay. Additionally, the elevator was broken the whole time we were here. Luckily, we got a room on the first floor, but it would've been a huge issue for physically challenged guests. Despite these issues, I want to commend the hotel staff for being very friendly and helpful. I don't think it's their fault that these issues weren't resolved, but I hope the hotel management can address these issues moving forward so that future guests can have a more enjoyable stay.
Alexis McCarty: Dirty and nasty!!! Not worth wasting money!! Infected with?? Cleaned my own room and their kitchen, and my grandson still got infected with bugs. They didn't even want to refund us. Horrible place to waste money!! On so many levels.
AMDG: One of the few hotels to educate their staff on proper service animal guidelines! THANK YOU 🐾 🐾
Barney Lopez: Internet is trash $20 extra for a week $30 extra for a month. Slow barely reaches all the rooms and just annoying to connect to with my phone laptop and roku. Better off anywhere else.Edit: The TVS look like they came out of 2012. Luckily they do have a USB and HDMI for my roku.
IYORE M. OKHIONKPAIMWONYI: Network failures
Yasmin Richards: Location is great, but the room was shabby. The blanket was old and beaded the pillows were worn out and when I requested for additional pillows I was told by the receptionist on Saturday evening 25th March my requested could not be granted. Pillows were provided afer I protested. Room was not cleaned and the water pressure in the bathroom is weak. Nice location but the interior need to be upgraded to match the exterior
Alex: PLEASE AVOID STAYING at all costs. room was overpriced and our first room had roaches and they offered us another room with no problem. second room was right across the hall and as we’re getting ready to sleep we find bed bugs in the head board. thank god we didn’t sleep there and bring bed bugs or roaches into our brand new home!! the only good thing is the staff is friendly and they gave us a refund upon asking. good job front desk staff, bad job cleaning staff.
Abdullahi Asimalowo: I stayed in this hotel from 30 OCT to 10 NOV. At arrival, there was no one in the front desk for more than 45 minutes. I was ready to proceed to another hotel when someone showed up. He noted that he went to use the bathroom and did not hear a shout out or knock. The phone was not answered either and I had to call their national number! NO HELP!On that first night, I saw a roach in the bathroom. That was concerning as it is possible for me to end up with it in my luggage and end up with home infestation! "A gift from Extended Stay Fayetteville!"I had to request a vacuum cleaner to vacuum the room by myself before a room service was sent to vacuum my room just ONCE in my entire stay! Front desk personnel noted that their COVID 19 policy is to clean rooms once every two weeks. Believe me, they keep changing words that I cannot believe anything they say.The dirty rug and trapped microparticles gave me respiratory infection, the entire time I was there. I ensure that I stayed out most of the time, just to avoid exposure.Based on my experience, this hotel does not deserve to be on the list of government travel hotels. Even though my booking was from a federal government site, I was charged tax. When I brought this up to the receptionist, she could not help. Instead, I was asked to call front desk another day. I did call, and just like my first day at their counter, no one answered. I ended up paying for the charged tax out of pocket! With this Fayetteville Extended Stay experience, I am done with this chain!
Kimberly Gillinov: Upon arrival (almost 11pm), we checked the sofa bed where my kids would be sleeping and found bed bugs. Also several dark red stains on the mattress. We were given the only remaining room left which was a small bed and told the “toilet doesn’t work but that is all we have left for availability tonight.”We were forced to stay as it was so late, and nothing else available. When we asked for a refund, we were only offered a 50% refund because “we still used the room.”The full continental breakfast was only pre-packaged muffins. The area felt very unsafe as well. Our deadbolt was broken too.
James Lechtenberg: Stayed here for a week traveling to Fayetteville for work. Stay was okay. Room seemed roomy but dingy. Lots of carpet stains, scuffs everywhere. Transients handing around the back parking lot frequently. AC worked okay. Pool was out of commission. Room above me smoked every day and the vent in the bathroom wafted the smell into my room. Notified the front desk but never did anything. Laundry was $5 a load and the machines sounded like an aircraft taking off. Will definitely be looking for other options when I come to Fayetteville in the future.

WoodSpring Suites Fayetteville Fort Bragg: what do users think?
Christopher Simmons: Dewayne and Shakira were wonderful great customer service. That GM you guys have is going to cost you guys some money. I was going to sew but I opted not to because I like Dewayne and Shakira. The GM talks to you anyway she wants and when you ask her about the extra charges she doesn’t want to hear you out. I would pay my monthly fee of 1654 dollars and she would knock on my door and says don’t listen the date the computer the receipt gave me, and charge me an extra 400, because a month is only 28 days or some lie like that. No my receipt shows the 1st to the next 1st. I have good lawyers and plentiful evidence. So thank your employees for their kindness. She would say you can pay or leave I say my receipt says I’m not due but I would pay anyway because I don’t have anywhere to go no family here I’m a veteran. Also I stayed three months and smashed over 100 roaches, no kidding. Best wishes Dewayne and Shakira working for that mean disrespectful lady.
Elaine Ray: It's about time to start lawsuit you should never walk in establishment and feel like nothing due to management.Rooms: 1/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Jeremy Ehret (RayofJay): I doubt i will be back here.cons:no extra bed blanketsa plethora of forms and signatures required to just to get my room keys, indicating the kind of poor clientele that typically reside here.a tiny reception roomphone had horrible static to the point i could not understand the receptionist.pros:clean roomcheap
Fia Wade: The Manager there is a nasty person…. My BF had a reservation there and she canceled it because I wasn’t there 😒 my name wasn’t on the reservation I’m in and entire different city why do she need anything from me… Simply because I was on the phone
Courtney Sanchez: This place is absolutely disgusting!!! As soon as you walk in your slapped in the face with mold and mildew smell. The bathroom floor is pushing up from water damage. Absolutely everything the sinks, shower, beds, etc is completely tan down. It wasn’t even swept!! It isn’t worth the money. Doesn’t deserve the two stars it has. Don’t recommend!!!!!
Mr Harg: I stayed at this location previously with no issues. My recent stay from June 10-13 which I didn’t stay the whole time. Once I seen the roaches in the hotel I left, I didn’t see the roaches until I turned the lights on at night and they where crawling on the floor and etc. The check in/out desk was close so I just departed. Establishment is in a good location and etc. it’s just the roaches is a no for me.
Chauncey Radcliffe Mann: DO NOT BOOK ONLINE VIA THE CORPORATE WEBSITE, it saves your card but won’t actually book the room or do anything to reserve until you show up. They do not allow any type of over the phone or online pay, not even a credit card authorization so basically steer clear if you’re corporate. This WSS seems to be the anomaly as the others offer online booking
Dave Dave: I absolutely have no idea how the GM Sarah is still employed here. She has to be the most disrespectful disingenuous rude ill mannered woman I’ve encountered in the work field. She lies and make up her own stories to fit her manipulative narrative. Just read what people are saying. It’s not coincidence that 60% of the reviews are about how rude and disrespectful SHE is. My 13 year old and I stayed there for a couple of weeks waiting for my apartment to be repaired and she clearly had an issue with me from day one for reasons unbeknownst. I work full time. I was on the way back to my room recently and she stopped me to talk about some towels. She never let me speak. She called me out my name and walked away as I was speaking diplomatically and told me I will be out of this hotel by the morning. Rude is an understatement. Morning came and cops were at my door. Crazy thing is EVEN THE COPS SAID THEY GO THROUGH THIS WITH HER ALL THE TIME. But unfortunately all she has to do is make up a lie and she can have you removed from the property. She speaks to people in the most disrespectful rude way.. she also threatens people. How she still have a job with the company is beyond me but what she does to people and did to me will not just go away this time. Her and this company will definitely be hearing from my lawyers.
James Campbell: Came down from New Jersey Stayed There Which Was A Bad Idea Manger Sarah Willams Is Very Very Nasty And Unprofessional I Went To Get My Money Back From the Roaches Jumping Off The Walls In the Bathtub All Over the Room Having aParty in The Room Will Never Stay There Again And Dont Recommed No One Will Either!!!Rooms: 1/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 1/5 …More
Shakim Copeland: This hotel was horrible me and my brother tried staying here but couldn’t because they got out room wrong and our room smelled like smoke and cow maneuver! When we ask for a refund because we did not stay in that room they told us we can’t get a refund they didn’t even help us at all they told us to find another hotel they never gave us a refund
Nadia Machuca: This had to be the worst hotel I ever stayed at. The lady’s here are really mean for no reason, they made us leave because we didn’t let them in one time. You have to pay 80-95 dollars a day to stay! Worst place ever!!!Rooms: 1/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 2/5 …More
Joyce Melvin: To whom it may concern:On Frid. afternoon (2:12p) 3/25/22, I arrived @ the front desk of the Woodsprings establishment to check in. No one was @ the front desk because she was outside on a smoke break.I waited, called on lobby phone for assistance, she finally came in to the front desk, never said hello, no Customer Servive Skills at ALL. I had a Reservation that wasn't honored, I asked some questions, she coped a Bigger ATITUDE, denied me service. I called later after I left. She lied . Don't use the place off Cliffdale Rd. Fayetteville, NC!! Run by it as fast as you can!!! I will Report this incidence to the highest level. Oh , I had my 3 Gands with me too!!!!!She was rude, mean stubborn bossy, and most of All she had her Butt on her Back!!!!ZERO(OO) is my Rating!!! That Part!!!!!
Shelia Washington: I love my job wouldn't change it for nothing) ms.sara williams is the best boss to have

The lady I spoke with over the phone was great including the one who checked us in.HOWEVER1. My niece’s room was filled with roaches.2. No wash cloths or towels were given to us3. Office was closed so we couldn’t ask for any help4. Fridge/Toilet filthyWill not be returning here again. I absolutely cannot wait for checkout! Hardly got any sleep last night due to the beds being so small & my toddler itching while crying all night. Not to mention other guest were slamming their doors & we heard gunshots nearby.Rooms: Rooms are “okay”. Definitely be prepared to bring most of what you’d need, because I wouldn’t expect them to provide much of anything.
al el: The worst hotel I've been this year so far. They have foldable beds, the ones that have metal frame poking you all night, no kitchen utensils, smells like cigarettes and sweat, and roaches crawling off the bathroom. I will never return.Rooms: 1/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 4/5 …More

S.A. Mooncalf: I have been staying for a while at the former Woodsprings Hotel which is now the Extended Stay of America. The changes in management are a breath of fresh air. Their patience and notable concern for each guest is welcoming. A stark contrast to the former organization. I am enjoying my stay and would like the new staff to keep up the good work. You guys are doing great.
Patrick Folsom: Quality and peace of mind!!
Sonya Perry Pough: This is the best Extended Stay to stay at. They really go above and beyond. I lost my keys in the elevator (silly me). The General Manager and staff had no problem shutting down the elevator long enough to redrive my keys. (smile); some businesses would have charged me. They would not even let me buy them lunch, (a small price to pay considering it would have been $300 to rekey my car. The GM told me noon I asked what could I do;; she said "put your keys in your pocket," something I will always remember. But, besides that their are a large amount of elderly people living there and they always seem to be at peace and happy. I love that! Need a place to stay, stay here it's like home.
