Golf Range & Pro Shop: what do users think?
Robin Long: We loved this place. Went on a beautiful Sunday in February. Got to meet the owner and chat with him as well. Family friendly and my daughter was especially happy to love on the pups that were hanging around. Plan on going again soon with just the hubby!
Wayne Bryson: I have been coming here since it opened in the early 90’s and have always been treated like gold, and a great place to hit golf balls and is reasonably priced. Highly recommended
RJZUD: I’ve been to several driving ranges in and around Fayetteville and literally stumbled upon this one. Quiet little range tucked back in the woods where you can practice swinging your clubs without the scrutiny of club members or self-described professionals. The owners are great and very welcoming. The dogs just sunbathe while you continue your practice. Bring cash (at the time of this posting, $7 per bucket).I’ll definitely be coming back here more often. There are two sides you can practice on. Left side, golf mat only (bring mat tees if you can so you don’t have to try and sink your tees in rubber). Right side you can swing on the grass. Food for thought…there is a pond directly in front of both sides so everyone gets a chance to hit their balls into it just like on the course.🤣
Anthony Wick: Beautiful and they have dogs sun bathing.
George Jones: Won’t return
Alex Perry: Came in as a beginner with my friend. Super nice guy, gave awesome pointers. Also great prices, will definitely be returning!!

Michaela Ashford: This place is extremely welcoming. The owner is very funny and the dogs are amazing. It’s also very relaxing.
daniel finnigan: Great place to hit some balls.
Cory Johnson: Simply awesome! Great feel, friendly welcoming owners. Great family friendly range. Even got the pleasure of meeting the owners very nice and friendly dogs. Thanks for the great experience! My wife and I will be back very soon!
Michael Woods: I've been away for about 9 years and my how things have changed around the area... It was good to see a familiar place and face... Golf is loved in my house practice is a must... This is the place to go get it in... Friendly and great service...
Eric Eanes: This range is by far the best. This is the first and only spot I will ever attend. The owner was friendly, not afraid to crack jokes and gave us pointers to improve our skills. By the end of the day we were driving like pros. We will be attending this range from here on out.
Ben Weina: Nothing better, fantastic owner who was extremely supportive and helpful to new golfers. My friends and I were able to go through 2 large buckets and rented 2 clubs and enjoyed every second of it. I am certain that my friends and I will return to have fun and support that amazing mom and pop business.

King's Grant Golf & Country Club: what do users think?
Wendy Carroll: Great weekend by the pool at Kings Grant with the family
Kaylee Lee: Took about 20 minutes just to get kid’s quesadilla.
Andrew Woodard: The course and greens in great shape but we were treat very disrespectful today. It was a group of members teeing off behind us and we were followed by the staff after the first hole. We made the turn under 2 hours and was met at the 10th hole and was told we were playing too slow. The same guy that followed us around said that we needed to finish around in 3 hours. (Group of 4). I asked a group of members how long it takes them to play and I was told 3 1/2 to 4 hours. We finished in 3 hours and 45 minutes!
Corek BleedingHollow: Fairways and tee boxes are not worth the $40 green fee.
Matthew Sochovka: Wow! Beyond impressed with the leadership of this place. Chris reached out to both me and my father and took the time to talk with us. His passion for this community is rare to find. We need more like him. Proud to call KG my home course. Any business will have some problems it’s the way you handle those problems that define who you are. Excited for the future because this place is in great hands and will only get better.
suyoung[수영] kim: Fun course and beautiful
Daniel Fisher: I live in Kings Grant and most of the time I golf somewhere else.I’m just always let down by something here.Like today, I called yesterday and booked a tee time, wasn’t in their system today (but the guy at the shop fit us in anyway). I have rarely ever seen a starter and for this reason there are always issues throughout the day.I ordered food during the round and when I went to pick it up an employee behind the bar tried to pretend like she can’t go get food and ring it at the bar (the bar was completely empty at the time, the pro shop counter was very busy). Someone in the shop did instruct her to do so after overhearing it. Another note is whatever meat is used for the burgers is questionable at best. Some of the lowest quality and I’m not sure where you find beef like that. The course overall is ok. The bunkers are always pretty disappointing to see and never maintained very well. Most greens are good, some could use a lot of work. Often trash or fallen debris in the fairways or on the greens even.Overall just disappointing. I’m not sure if understaffing is an issue, a lot of the staff seems very nice and relaxed but this course is certainly not my first choice in the area.
Mike Cepluch: WOW what an amazing facility...staff was great and the pro was very accommodating...it has some rough spots on course but greens were just about perfect for this time of year...I will be a repeat customer for many years and I live 10 hours away :)
Steve Kenney: Very quiet, picturesque spot. Good golf course. Good food.
jaykant: Loved it.
Terence Collins: I played there today as part of a group of ten from our home course. Surprised to learn that the club had been shut down for awhile, though probably not as much as the residents when it happened. Surprised because we were quite pleased with the maintenance condition of the course, particularly the greens. The course is a good test, so look forward to a return.
Matt Hockey: June 2018. Significant work has taken place. Still more needs to be done but there was so much taking place while we were there that I am sure that Kings Grant will be back to being one of the premier courses in the area very soon.Update September 2020Talk about change! Clubhouse is amazing and bathrooms are spotless. Gunnery Sergeant Hartman would have been proud to come into this Head. The course was in awesome shape and only fine tuning needs to be done now. Still some sod being put down and cart paths being fixed but mostly minor issues. Greens were a bit fast yesterday which played to my advantage and not to my daughters or my cousins. Fairways were in great shape! All in all an outstanding afternoon spent with only 4 balls lost amongst three of us and only 1 doinked a roof.... hey she's 11. For her to blast it that far was impressive in it's own right.Played all over the world from Belize to Belgium and this course is a bargain and a blessing. Wife is interested in a membership since it's only 20 minutes from home. We shall see, it might be worth the time to finally have a home course.Update (Again) July 2022It's hot. Heat index of 108 today. My daughter and bride are in the pool. We are full members. Gain weight at the Phoenix and lose weight on the course. Come join us.
Gator G2G: 1st - If you can find a better rate for 18holes and a cart for $40 (or $25 for their twilight rate!!!) - then stop reading this review and go play that goat-pasture!!!And really another 1st!!! - Kings Grant golf track has drastically changed (same great layout) but MAN!!! what great condition this coursecurrently is in!!!Wide fairways (with ample playable grass; not sand spots or fungus decay) and the Greens are in very nice shape too (one green did have some repair area, but I'd rather see the repairs than the unplayable fungus area)!!!Course layout is set among beautiful landscaping and varying terrain features, and with the beautiful homes set back (on most holes), your professional shots (I'll give you a positive outlook) you won't have the jitters from thinning a pitching wedge into the green (because a smash, crash and yelling is not what anyone wants on an enjoyable day at King's Grant Golf & Country Club, N.C.)!!!SPECIAL KUDOS to the ground crew and the investors!!!I know Pinehurst is near-by, but again, MAN!!! this is a must play course!!!Ok, Ok, enough with the exclamation points, as my point has been "driven straight down the fairways"; so that said, consider making Kings Grant your home course...(I received no endorsements from course management for this review)Hit'm Straight and Hit'm Long...
Butch Darnell: played a couple of weeks ago, it is in the best shape from tee through green that I have seen in many years!! Keep up the good work!!
Roxanne: It’s a good place to play golf!
James Coleman: This was my first time playing the course. I paired with a member who made me feel welcomed. His course knowledge led to a great experience. The elevation changes made for some breath-taking views of the landscape. The course is well-maintained and is a challenge to golfers of any skill level. In the words of "The Terminator", "I'll be back!"
Gail Brewer: Really nice golf facility with a wonderful staff
Don Barzini: Super friendly place with a very interesting golf course with lots of elevation changes. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to have a fun time and enjoy the restaurant as well. Bill the head pro is very attentive to the golfers needs and bet that he is an excellent teacher.
Jackson Ferrell: Best golf course in town!
eric cossett: greaT course, continually improving and great food
J Miller Realty & Associates, LLC: The golf course is challenging and fun to play. You will have to utilize all of your golf shots on this course. The greens are fast but, the greens are really smooth. Be confident with your putts. The club house is fantastic and the food is delicious.

Baywood Golf Club: what do users think?
Brad Newton: June 20 2023 update....The greens are looking so much better. So warm days early in the season and treating for the Poa got rid of it pretty quickly this spring. Last summer #7 was replaced along with the practice putting green which is now open.. A few greens are still rough around the edges..#8 #10 but most of the putting surface even on those two provide a decent pin position. Late in the day there are a lot of tiny ant hills on some greens and collar areas need to be treated for mole crickets before they get out of hand. Someone has been make an effort to fill small depressions on the greens with sand. As they continue to fill in that will smooth the surfaces even more. The dry weather has limited fairway grass growth but with rain in the forcast the next few days that should take care of the issue. It's pouring right now as I'm typing. The dry weather hasn't helped tee boxes...several are in poor shape #7 # 17 . Again the rain will help..so would some fertilizer?..like a lot...it would be nice to see some repairs of the fairway irrigation system. The greens are getting water but being at the mercy of rain or no rain can hurt you and that has been the case in May and June. Conditions should be very good these next few weeks going forward.April 2022 update....The warm weather has just started to wake up the bermuda grass fairways and greens....we have had a dry spring which isn't helping. The greens are fast but a few still have problems. They were sprayed to knock down the Poa but 10 and 14 are still really bumpy. There are a few greens with some bare spots (7 &10) around the edges but that damage generally don't come into play. Tee boxes are thin but look...this type of grass is not really growing fast yet and tees are not over seeded so give it a couple of weeks. Some sun, warmth and rain will get it in much better shape. For 25 to 35 bucks it's well worth it.Aug 2021Conditions have improved a lot over the last few weeks. Fairways are really good and plush so if you hit it fairly straight you should have a great lie. Greens are improving as well. Recent aeration and topdressing has grown back in. Recent spraying has taken care of some invasive grass on the greens that had been making them bumpy. A couple of greens are still healing from winter kill that hit a lot of southern courses 2 years ago but pins are located in the good areas. The Rough is pretty thick in some places as well so stay in the short grass. Tee Boxes are good but a few (mostly the par 3's) are a bit thin. New sand was added to most of the bunkers this spring so they are generally good. Some improvements were done on the cart paths. If we continue to get some rain showers conditions should be very good going into late summer/ fall. Spring conditions were really poor but it's well worth checking out right now. Best conditions of the year. I played Sunday Aug 8th and had a fun but hot round. There is water in play on 8 holes and although the terrain is fairly flat with some mounding on a few holes, you have to be on with your approach shots as almost every green is elevated.. 6 or 7 tree lined holes and a few almost links style open holes. Full disclosure I do live out here so I have seen its worst and best conditions. Hope this helps.
Marcel Marta: This course is a fine place to learn golf, newer players to practice, or for a casual game. Prices are fair. Carts are well worn, but they have many so no worries about needing to wait for a cart. Fairways are decent, greens need more maintenance, there were many divots and holes filled with sand (note: while playing here, on 16June2023, the groundskeepers were performing maintenance on some of the greens.)The employees are friendly and helpful.
Jake Christian: They're horrible about answering the phone. I literally called 20 times before someone answered on a rainy day, so I know they weren't busy.
John McCaa: Beautiful golf course, delivered sand there
Larry Kornegay: Greens are much better than previously noted. Lots of goose activity, but overal not bad for greens fee.
Lee Smith Jr: A great bunch of people at Baywood course and fair shape
Robert Covalucci: Pool was clean and well maintained
Hailey Barchacky: Forth of July fireworks are always with it
Mary Richards: Played for the first time on this course today. The homes and the community is gorgeous, unfortunately the course is not.The greens are horrible and need much attention. This course has a great layout with so much potential if they would only fix the greens.I personally will never play here again as I watched every putt bounce or run
Butch Darnell: needs some TLC.. Putting green is horrible..course is average.
william parker jr: Enjoyed myself
Joseph Mitchell: I used to enjoy this course. It’s absolute trash now!!! The putting greens are infested with weeds and have bare sand spots on them. Your ball bounces everywhere no matter what you do. The tee boxes are literally sand and some are even in the fairway. The Greenskeepers decided to drive up on the green and change the pin location while I was literally taking my shot. I was chipping the ball onto the green and they drove up and relocated the pin. No regards for the paying customer that was in the middle of a shot. Absolute worst experience golfing ever. If I could get my money back, I would!
Dwight Ivey: New management in BGCA showing improvements
Fred Byus: Excellent course
alice faye brewington: The course is in really good shape, the employees are very good at treating people with respect !!GREAT JOB!!!
Dr. Lin Wheeler: The driving range is in ok shape. The course in general needs maintenance.
Navin Crawford: Fair way was good some Green's need some work but overall a great place to play for amitureturs to experience players
Karsyn Fann: Great community!
Jennifer Huckins: We played there quite a bit last year; however, we were highly disappointed today. The greens are horrible theoughou Lt the golf course. Lots of huge dirt spots as if not being taken care of properly. Got there early to practice putting and the practice green is a joke. Management needs to get “on the ball” and clean the place up.
martin christon: Had fun
Danny Carroll: Definitely a big difference from last year. The greens are rolling good. A few bad spots on a couple of the greens but not affected by the pin placement. Challenging golf course, as long as you can get off of the tee. I'll be back...
