Kay Davis (Kay Kay): Day 1 - Check-in was not goodThe room was nice, but it needed to be cleaned better. Some issues I want to share with the company.Rooms: Spacious.Nearby activities: Google for what is around to do.Walkability: Plenty of walking opportunities to the strip mall down the block.Food & drinks: There is a small restaurant style in the building. Was not inviting to me from the picture in the elevator.
Joseph Dunn: I stayed at this hotel as part of a multi-day venue on June 14, 2023. It was booked by the venue's travel agent. Somebody screwed up and booked us a king room when we needed 2 beds. Holiday Inn stated that the agent booked only kings and the travel agent said that was not true. In any event the frazzled clerk 'explained' to us that she 'may' have a cot for us and didn't have any idea if and when we would get it to our room. ?Huh? I asked her again and she stated I don't have a cot right here so I can't provide any more info so just wait. Can I cancel the room and get a refund? NO, she said....too late, less than 24 Hours.....The cot never showed, so I slept on the floor. Another guest told us that a cot was NEVER coming that he was told it was a fire code issue, who knows if that's true. AND they charged me the Extra $50 incidental charge which I now am calling about. Terrible customer service, Terrible communication, Understaffed.Rooms: Not enough 2 bed rooms
lynn pugh: I love this hotel. The staff are friendly and accommodating. The bed and pillows were very comfy, the room clean and the shower amazing. Bartender was quite willing to make drinks not on their menu. Close to tons of restaurants, Walgreens and Lowes.Rooms: The suite was great. Hubby watched TV in front room instead of the bedroom so I could sleep. Couch is NOT comfortable. Lol. Otherwise, the room is nicely appointed and has a Keurig.

The business surely hopes to maintain an exceptional level of service to encourage customers to frequent their lodging location.Linda, at the front desk shared her authority to control the remote very unprofessionally.I asked kindly if the television could be changed, I understood the corporate explanation, I explained that I wanted to enjoy the seating area in the main foyer while I worked and if it could be turned to something different.She then proceeded to ask if I had a room, I answered “why yes” she said “okay then”.What a peach. Such petty people in this world that shouldn’t work with the public. Turning it off would have been better solution. #karen
Boss Lady: I booked 6 rooms here at this location last week .Upon check in I was told that only one room was ready . Because 3 people quit so me & my family went to get something to eat while they got the rooms together . Came back the rooms still wasn't together as we waited the lady at the front desk made sure she communicate with me to let me know what was going on .Also apologize for everything .While we was waiting the G.M Manger came downstairs to do something that's when I found out that Amy was up stairs her & some more staff getting the rooms clean to assure guest was taking care of . During our wait Miss T at the bar took care of us the food was amazing order the wings !!! OMG good . This Hotel will go over & beyond for their customers also the Mangers & Sales Manger are TEAM players they work under stress & kept everything professional . Our Family will be coming back again .If your looking for good location good food awesome customer service clean rooms this will be the place to go !!!!!! I will also be letting the home office know that they have phenomenal team !!!!!!!

Amy Fenton: We have stayed at many IHG properties. This location was clean, the rooms were updated and I had no issues with anything in the rooms. The hotel common areas were clean as well. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The hidden gem of this hotel is the onsite restaurant. We were tired so rather than venture out we decided to try the restaurant. I honestly had very low expectations (shame on me). The chef that evening (there are two on staff-I wish I had asked his name) had Caribbean chicken, macaroni and cheese and greens for the special. That is not what I had planned to order but am so glad I did! This meal rivaled meals I have eaten in high end restaurants. The chicken was perfectly seasoned and falling off the bone it was so tender. The macaroni and cheese was homemade as were the greens. It was evident the chef takes pride in his dishes and he knows his culinary trade well. We were so impressed we inquired as to the next night's special and we ended up eating there again. Taco Tuesday. Again, he did not disappoint! The taco shells were freshly fried in house-a rare thing even in Mexican restaurants and the meats were all seasoned perfectly. My husband and I agreed even if we were not staying here, we would go out of our way to come back and eat at this restaurant. The sweet bartender made us feel right at home and went out of her way to make sure we had a wonderful dining experience. This is a small unpretentious restaurant but everything about it left me wanting more. Try it. You won't be disappointed!Update: We we’re sad to find during our recent stay the fabulous chef had moved on and the sweet bartender was leaving as well. The food was still great, but the chef’s specials were no more. The hotel itself was still on par with my previous review. We would still stay there again.

beth cunningham: I'm not sure what has happened with staffing here. Reading the reviews from 6 months back seemed like the rooms were kept well. I stayed here for two weeks due to training at Ft. Bragg. The rooms were cleaned the first two days of the first week and then it stopped. I had to go searching for toilet paper. There was a funky smell in the room and it turned out to be pee on the other bed. I told the staff about it and got clean sheets (that I put on myself). The staff NEVER came to get the soiled sheets. Trash built up and I had to out it outside my door that stayed there for 4 days before it was picked up. I'm not sure what has happened at this location but if I will never be back here at this location. Ever.

Arlethia Patterson: I had bed bugs so I canceled a reservation that I had planned in the future & the manager told me she was gonna cancel it & she completely understand & when the future dates came up she never did & kept my money I’ve been calling & the front desk always saying oh she is in a meeting & will call you back I haven’t heard anything yet & it’s been weeks ! DO NOT STAY the bed bugs was in my bed they wouldn’t switch rooms only offered to have it cleaned the next morning & wont give you your money back
Tiana Santana: I am an IHG rewards member with status. I have stayed in manny IHG properties in the US. This hotel supposedly was renovated recently. Lobby area an gym were ok. But the rooms… I checked in to a room that was not clean it was dirty. I requested to be changed into another room as the one assigned was dirty and they front desk agent told me no, because they are full. He offered to come up to the room to clean what was dirty. For security reasons I declined. Floor carpet was not vacuumed, night stand was dirty and I am not even sure that they changed the bed sheets. Room had a weird smell and bath room sink and counter was dirty. Had clean towels and two roll of toilet paper, once was half used. I had to go back to the room to clean nightstand and counter with some Clorox wipes. Not recommended. They need to improve their cleaning practices prior to checking in a guest. If you can stay on another property. The only good thing about this property are some of the staff that are genuinely amicable and friendly and their tiny gym. Did not tried the restaurant.

Dustin Hall: Horrible, ineffective and lazy staff. We stayed for a week, the room was cleaned once. Today, we specifically asked for the room to be cleaned, it was not even attempted. Tonight, yes it's now night, I went to the desk to ask for the sheets so we could do the work ourselves, the desk clerk said she could not leave the desk and apologized because they've been "having problems on the second floor with their staff".We've had our baby up now waiting on the staff to do simple things that we're paying them for. We've been beyond cordial, but we're at our wits end with this hotel.Update, what seems like a service tech just came by with one sheet and asked why we put the other sheets on the floor outside the door. I explained to him that they haven't been changed in three days, he responded "but what's wrong with them?" In a matter-of-fact tone. He had a clear attitude for being called on to work, assuming a carry over from the receptionist (who was helpless (couldn't call a manager, she only said "well sir you can leave" in response to me asking her to fix this)) Then, the receptionist had the nerve to say "you're getting a government rate already which is a discount." (Because I'm on military travel) as if that should matter in the hotel doing its job. I asked for her manager's number which only rang to her conveniently.Tone deaf, horribly managed staff that is seriously lacking customer service skill and basic job function. Seriously, working all day to get them to clean a room? Holiday Inn is usually way better.I've added a picture of the sheets we've had outside our room while waiting on new sheets ALL DAY.Military, stay away - it's not worth the "discount" that reception will Lord over your efforts to seek basic paid services.5 star reviews on this staff are suspect. In fact, most substantive reviews rate the staff lower than any other category.
