Anthony Johnson: Early Voting was a breeze. Not sure about a lot of you, but I have a very common name, and I which is usually a hassle trying to find me by name. She found me and had my form printed in under 30 seconds. It was a manual voting year, but I managed to get all my circles filled in appropriately. Now hopefully I voted for the correct people. :)
Kathy McCullough: Fun experience
Michelle Harris: Great park. Swings and play area for kids. Some waking trails. There is also a pokemon go gym and a few pokestops.
Gina Whitney: My kids and I like going to work out
Lakita Prewitt: Great place for the whole family
Janett Kollar: A great place for the kids to go and do their games.

Yusuf ibn Qadir: Had a Great time
Michael Furrell: Nice gym and staff
Ginger Blossom: As i was in my car with the seat back, I heard alot of chaos outside. People cursing and using foul language. As i sit up I hear a man using obscene language and blaming grown adults for not intervening with the situation. I was shocked to hear a grown man talking like that in front of children. Using the f word and other obscenities! I found out that he was the director! As a consumer I felt very unsafe and disrespected, and I will make sure that I am always caucious when entering this facility. It was very kind of the female staff member to apologize on behalf of the situation, but I have never experienced anything like this at an establishment, especially where it is supposed to be a safe place for children.
Blaise Malveau: Family place.
James l Dixon: Great clean place
Charles Leftwich: Real nice

Smith Lake Recreation Area: what do users think?
K S: Very nice and quiet campground. We stayed in an RV site for the week while visiting family. One of the cleanest and most secure bath houses I've seen. Each room had a pad lock, toilet, sink, and shower.
April Tricialen Bui: The MWR sponsored aquatic area was AMAZING! It's like those movies where they have kids running around all on water obstacles courses, watched people swim, kayak and paddle board and also watch some water ski! Never been to a lake with all those amenities so close to each other before. The only thing, that is obviously a personal problem, is not knowing what is exactly under the water since it is pretty murky and red looking.Overall, a great place with all the lifeguards watching the water and a gated area made me feel really at ease letting my kids run around the beach. We stayed from open until the aquatic park had its last call for playing!
Anna Fox: Is the beach part open on mondays?
RCTP08: This was an event of a lifetime for my family!!! We had an amazing time and the venue was great!!!!
Jackie Killian: We stay at the Smith Lake campground a few times a year when in the Fayetteville area and it is one of our favorite campgrounds. The shower facilities (if needed) are clean and well maintained, the laundry is OK, and we love walking our dog around the area. There are quite a few channels available over air, but they do suffer from interference from the helos that fly overhead. If you've lived on a base with jets the sound from the helicopters probably won't bother you. The only thing we don't love about Smith Lake is that there is no wi-fi. Even if it was a separate amenity that had to be purchased separately it would be nice if it was available for those who need it for work/school.
john holden: This place blows. Never again.
Tino Medina: The disc golf course is pretty new. The signs are great and easily read. They did a great job at cutting and mulching through the fairways. There's some areas you want to make sure you stay in the fairway. Otherwise you're going to deal with briars. The mandos make sense and are clearly marked throughout the course. A gold level course so not for your beginners or family weekend players just out having fun. This course is designed specifically for experienced players and distance throwers. The wind was definitely a factor today and I have been told it seems to always be windy coming off the lake. There was a fairway that had a bench sitting next to the basket which made zero sense. There needs to be benches by the tees. The course was very fun and had a mixture of open and a few wooded holes. Was really cool to have Blackhawk helicopters flying above from time to time. Some low lying areas may become muddy after a strong rain, but today that was not a problem. Also, as a bonus got to see a pretty cool fox squirrel. I like the course and will be back to play more.
Julio Gonzales: Nice place to stay but limited RV site with indivdual dump, and difficult to for staff to reserve sites due to their reservation system.
Maria Toledo: Good for family
Russell Schwarz: Great place. Soon to have a new disc golf course Sometime in early 2023.
Izzy Street: We love come here! It’s always so so clean
H Armstrong: Highly recommend renting from this location. The staff was very informative and helpful. Matt was attentive our needs to make our event the best. Upon return, the equipment return process was quick. Thank you!!!!
Michael Furrell: Wow . This place is great. Kids loved it. Would definitely, plan something here in the future.
Billy Orr: Was a enjoyable time. Stayed for 5 nights. Price was good at $23 a night. Not bad with helo noise(the sound of freedom). Stayed in site 10 only problem was the concrete man followed the plumbers rule heavy for grade. 9” difference from front to back and side of slab. But would stay again just in a different site.
Trenessa Roberson: Nice, clean, fun, I want to go back one day
Mark Mettler (MPRanger or Newmarch): Great place to stay.
Rose L: In a cabin as I type this at 3:00am. Primitive cabins are quaint and exactly what you expect when staff explains the features, large comfy bed and AC unit. Except, AC cannot be adjusted down whatsoever which left me and my mom feeling muggy. Rain + heat makes the cabin and air very humid really hard to fall asleep. Lake is disgusting. No idea if the orange/brown contents of the lake are harmful or not but it dried into a sticky orange film all over my body. Went to wash off in the showers to find that the shower washes you WITH lake water which just got me even more dirty. Lifeguards are very honest about finding the lake gross and not wanting to swim themselves (recreationally of course). Hiking trails were a painfully long walk from the main building that guided us there, for us to not even be able to figure out where the trail began or ended. We were told there would be markers because mating season means more active wildlife, but it was hard to determine what was or wasnt a barrier, or where we were supposed to detour. We gave up eventually, and walked all the way back.
A M: Very disappointed! As a Disabled Veteran who would think that you and your family would be treated so poorly at a MWR establishment, by the Branch Manager James Day. After arriving to the park at approximately 1500 hrs. I purchased the $15 All Day waterpark pass for my kids. (This is what the paper stated at the desk). I also asked when do you close I was told 1800 hrs. My child went immediately down to sign paper to go on waterpark that's when we found out they would not be able to go until 1550 hrs. So after doing one obstacle on waterpark my son went back to sign paper to go again at 1630hrs and was told they close at 1630 hrs . Even though nothing stated this at front desk and I asked and was told 1800hrs. So I asked to speak to who was in charge and spoke with Branch Manager James Day. He was very rude with me from the moment I spoke to him. When I told him what happened the first thing he said was " but did they get to go on waterpark"? Shrugged his shoulders and said well. Like it was nothing he could do. He didn't care they had not posted the closing hrs, that they did not let me know that they would only be able to go once even the the paper said all day and the park closes at 1800 hrs. He told he was the one in the with a smirk and did not apologize did not care at all. As a Disabled Veteran I was disgusted to realize this was the Branch Manager that was so incompassionate and rude. After my family and I were misguided and told one thi.g and found out something different a
Kyle Thomas: This MWR run facility is doing a fantastic job providing and maintaining outdoor recreational equipment and facilities. The trails are a bit sandy and soft in places but, I believe that the sandy bits add to the difficulty in a good way most times. Sometimes it makes you wish you had slowed down before that techey section but, overall not bad. Bikes are in excellent condition and, I can't wait to come back for some canoe fishing.😁
Justin: Oki and Josh are the real MVPs. Great customer service and great personalities. I will be coming back.
Destiny Durham: Great place for basketball
