Anderson Creek Hunting Preserve: what do users think?
Thomas Matthews: Took my son today and we had an absolute blast. Kenneth was one of our guides and he made it great the dogs were pretty spot on even with one being younger and newer. Definitely going back with my oldest.
Vikki: Always a good time target shooting here!
David Woodlief: My son planned this trip. He has been hunting since walking pretty much. I have been hunting since a early age also. 50 years or so. I remember hunting with my dad at an early age. One of my fondest memories was quail hunting with amazing pointers and my dad with an abundace of game. A lot of time has passed and things have changed. We still own land but game birds have succumb to coyote and such by mistake (or not) to our region and a lot of places in our area. That being saidAnderson Creek gave me an opportunity today to hunt quail ,chukarand pheasant with my son. A Day to remember. Cannot recommend these people enough
Donald Moore: JAMES IS A QUALITY LAND AND PRESERVE OWNER. HE PROVIDES OPPORTUNITIES FOR SEVERAL TYPES OF HUNTING EXPERIENCES. KEITH PASS IS A TOP NOTCH GUIDE AND DOG TRAINER. HIS BUSINESS, DEEP SOUTH KENNELS IS SUPERB. I BUY ALL MY DOGS THERE. HE'S ALSO AVAILABLE FOR PRIVATE, WILD OR FARM RAISED BIRDS, BY APPT ONLY

Jonathan Raab: My wife picked out the runt "Addie" she is the best dog I've ever had and everyone loves her. She is roughly 12 weeks old now and has learned so fast.
Russell H.: I've had 2 bad experiences here and will not be returning.1st was a tower hunt for pheasant. Although very interesting just not my cup of tea. Way to many people not following directions. We were told to move a full or half space from each break and some people just did not want to move. The whole thing just jammed up the rest of the shooters. So when ever you had a bird flying at you, some other shooter would take him out before you could even try. So, unless you were willing to take long shots, that are on the outer limits of your shellshot you might not even get a chance of killing a bird.2nd was the opening day of dove season. Labor Day fell on a Monday so for $100 you get to hunt on that Monday and the following Saturday. This included a BBQ plate for lunch on Monday. U was able to mark my places where I wanted to hunt as the man showed me some what looked like nice areas. He assured me that they were going to cut a little of the crop each week to keep the birds around and coming back. Said that when that Monday was here that 90-95% would be cut. I asked if there were going to be people all in the field or just around it. He did not give a straight answer. So, when I arrived that Monday morning, there were other hunters in my spot that I had marked. I was very nice about it and since they had small children I decided to be nice and share the area that I had marked for the 4 spots I had paid for. Figured we could just all work together. When the shooting began, I was totally shocked that everyone was shooting at black birds. I only saw 6 dove's that morning. Watched other hunters shooting at black birds and tweeties all morning. On of the other men from the group that were there with their kids even yelled at a guy telling him those are not doves.Over all this was the biggest let down I've ever seen. We left at 9:30 did not come back for lunch and I doubt I'll go back for the Saturday I already paid for. They had way to many hunters in the field. No doves and a bunch of people that did not know what to shoot at.We ended up going to play golf and I called in a favor from an old friend of mine to hunt one of his fields. In 2 hours 3 of us recovered 26 birds that we shot and would have come close to limiting out if we could have found all the birds and had been better shots. So the birds were flying that day. Just not at Anderson Creek. All in all I think the guys at Anderson Creek did a poor job in prepping the fields. Had way to many hunters on top of each other and did not cut as much as they had said they were going to.So, my advice would be to stay away from the Tower hunt and opening day of dove season. I would like to think that the guided duck hunts would be a good call just by looking at the other reviews. Also you can buy birds and they will place them, flush them and u shoot them. Those would more like something I would recommend. Unfortunately I will not be returning.
Tania Trbojevich: This place is a breeder. All the dogs live outside in kennels in 90+ degree weather. I will never support businesses like this and people shouldn't either. adopt a dog dont buy one! Support your local shelters!
Nic Clark: What an amazing dog for our family! Ken was so helpful in anwering all of our questions about the different breeds. We decided on a Bittany. Here is a pic of his first day in the woods. He had a blast. I can't recommend the Anderson Creek team enough!
