Mary: As a friend of the Goodyear family it upsets me to find out that United Steelworkers are increasing the restrictions to attendance at ICD to a mandatory 5 active employees or the classes will not make.Retirees do not count towards attendance although they paid their union dues their entire carriers.Many active employees just do not have the time to attend, but retirees do have the time.Your Mission Statement says: "We are an educational program for the members of USW Local 959 at Goodyear's Fayetteville, NC tire plant. Our goal is to provide educational opportunities for job enhancement, personal development and successful retirement for our members."How can you forget your retirees?
